Perhaps it was your bad mood after that quiz. Or perhaps the November weather was getting to you and absolutely ruining your patience for people. 

But honestly, you were sick of it. You were fresh into Hawkins High this semester, and had already seen your fill of bullies to last a lifetime. You weren’t about to let them pick on this boy.

He was smaller with big hair, had this utterly endearing face that instantly brought your protective streak to the surface in full force, and you knew his taller, lanky friend wasn’t about to do shit.

“HEY!”

Your feet lead you over there before your mind even realised.

You stepped between the kid and the duo of bullies in the cafeteria queue, your own tray long forgotten on some table as you steadied your glare on this larger boy, who instantly seemed to shrink. “You think you’re a big guy, huh? Gonna pick on freshmen to impress your buddy? Wow, yeah. Super impressive.”

You raised a hand, light fingertips barely coming into contact with the bully’s front. You didn’t even need to push him. Not even an ounce of pressure and he stepped back, eyes wide.

You must’ve been scarier than you meant, but that was nothing to complain about, and you weren’t gonna reel your mouth in until the point was driven home.

“It’s not so hot to pick on freshmen for your lunch money. You need charity? You need a hand?” You leaned into his space and raised a brow, not even phased by how he gawked. “It’s nothing to be ashamed of, you know. A ‘please’ goes far.”

You knew everyone was looking. And perhaps, just perhaps, it wasn’t a good idea to humiliate him in such a way, but your day had been bad enough, and you’d seen enough bullies for your whole life. If one dose of public humiliation would tone down the cruelty average in the school, your current mind had decided it was worth it.

You made the final blow, and dug your hand into your pocket. “A dollar fifty, right?”

A guffaw of impressed laughter from behind you. That smaller kid was loving this.

“N-no, don’t worry about it,” the bully stuttered, taking a step out of the line.

You shook your head. “No, really,” you soothed, but there was a bite to your tone. “If you’re that desperate that you gotta steal from kids, I’m happy to help.”

The bully turned quickly, almost tripping over the supporting goon stood behind him. “Fuck that,” was all you heard as he departed without even looking back, and he must’ve felt the holes your glare burnt into his back.

The lunch hall eased back into a hubbub of conversation again once the doors closed behind him, and you turned to the kid you were protecting.

The cutest, brightest smile you’d ever seen shone up at you, and it was all instantly worth it. “Sorry,” you grimaced, “That was more dramatic than I meant. I had a bad--”

“Are you kidding? That was awesome.” Something about this boy just utterly melted your heart, and the steam finally stopped pouring out of your ears.

“Awesome works, but I’d say… That’s some solid chaotic good.” A figure emerged beside you. A guy you’d seen in a couple of your classes, shaggy hair and a devilishly proud grin. “You saved the lambs. Ditch your friends and sit with us today, Bo Peep.”

He stalks you obviously but you don't really give a shit you still keep up your facade but it's taking a straine on your health

So when he does talk to you face to face you give him the best smile you can muster

He talks to you like you already know each other

When he asks you the questions you answer honestly which inevitably makes him a little upset

So when you get off of work he follows you

Day after day you start to realize that it's literally only you and him

Soon your facade slips and eventually you show your true colors

No emotions, the Aura around you is as cold as ice

So when you arrive at work the next day your face has a permanent frown

As your restocking the shelves you start talking to yourself

"How in the hell is everything coming off the shelves, there's literally no one in this world but me and that dude."

After you do your tasks you take your place at the counter waiting for nothing

Soon that guy comes back looking a little different

He seems more

Attractive?

He continues to talk to you about the same thing asking the same questions

Yet you still give him the same answers

The next day the same thing except he looks even more attractive

'He's really trying' you say in your head

He asks the questions again

And you change your answers

You let him come home with you

He starts to freak out and eventually shows his true self

Or at least some of his true self

You don't know how to feel

You can't feel anything

He starts to catch on and eventually you end up together

📚 When Lucifer first met you he thought that you were responsible and loyal considering the way you talked about the people that you had left behind when you were taken to Devildom. 📚 When he got to know you better he realised that your loyalty would stretch to anyone who shows you that they deserve it. 📚 He could not have been happier that there was someone else as responsible as he was living in the HoL, he knew that for the most part you’d try to keep his brothers out of trouble. 📚 When you started your classes at RAD and even now he has to pull you out of arguments due to your sarcasm. 📚 Speaking of your sarcasm he often ends up in sarcastic arguments with you but it often ended with him rolling his eyes and going back to whatever he was doing. 📚 “Look at your face.” “I can’t, my eyes are in my head.” “Excuse me?” “You are excused.” 📚 You were probably the only person to understand his action in regards to his brothers and Diavolo, you never questioned him and he was thankful for that. 📚 He’d often talk through things with you because you were more analytic that any of his brothers and you would often tell him how well something was going to work purely based on facts. 📚 You were very kind to those you considered your friends and family. 📚 When you started dating you were both considered the mum and dad of the family given you approaches to keeping his brothers out of trouble. 📚 He loved you for everything that you were and learned from your loyalty and kindness everyday.

🍔 Beel noticed how cynical you were from the first time that he had seen you, he had no idea what had made you that way and honestly he didn’t feel like he could ask for a very long time. 🍔 He worried that you were too kind for Devildom, that is until he saw the way that you stood up to be people who were just cruel for the sake of being cruel. 🍔 If you were sarcastic to Beel it would likely go over his head. 🍔 You guys bonded over having a twin that was no longer by your side, you immediately knew that Belphie was his twin when you met him and decided to help him for that fact. 🍔 Beel was very physically affectionate and it took a while to get used to that, he would often warn you before he picked you up or hugged you if he could. 🍔 “Can I hug you?” “Yeah…This is lasting longer than I thought.” “Oh sorry.” “No, I'm not telling you to let go.” 🍔 You took a step back when Belphie came back and he had to actively seek you out to promise that he still wanted to spend time with you. 🍔 You were skilled in fighting and honestly Beel wished that he had never found that out, he never worried about other people hurting you because incapacitated everyone else in seconds. 🍔 Beel was always trying to prove to you that you could look at the world differently because not everyone wanted to hurt you. 🍔 Beel was not as smart as you but he’d listen to anything you talked about, he may not understand everything that you said but he’d listen to you dumb it down for him too. 🍔 Beel would never change you, he loved affirming his love for you and showing the world in a new light whenever you were together.

🫖 When you pulled into Devildom you were ready for a fight, it took a lot of talking to get you to calm down, so much so that Diavolo decided to have you stay in the castle with him and Barbatos instead. 🫖 The next morning Barbatos found you in the kitchen making breakfast. 🫖 “What are you doing?” “Making Breakfast, I wanted to apologise for my behaviour yesterday, you have done nothing to hurt me after all.” “That’s no trouble we pulled you here without telling you, you had every right to be worried.” 🫖 Barbatos had to keep you out of a lot of fights, you would often find yourself in trouble with him dragging you out, he’d patched you up on a few occasions while Diavolo laughed off whatever trouble you caused. 🫖 Your loyalty to Diavolo was fierce after a couple of months staying with them and they all found out how fierce when trouble came knocking and you were the one to put it down. 🫖 “I had no idea that you could use a sword.” “There’s a lot that you don’t know about me.” 🫖 You both thought the same way and people thought it was scary that you didn’t actually have to talk to each other to make a plan or finish what the other was doing. 🫖 Your cynical sarcasm often got small chuckles or grunts of amusement from Barbatos but he watched you carefully to make sure that it continued as sarcasm not observation. 🫖 He’d be by your side in social gatherings to make sure that you didn’t feel uncomfortable, due to your limited social skills and sometimes awkward conversational skills. 🫖 Barbatos is aware of trauma and how it affected humans, he noticed the signs from you, he never asked about it but he was there to support you through anything that you needed him for. 🫖 Barbatos was a very supportive partner and there was nothing that he’d change about you no matter what. He’s here for you the same way that you dedicate yourself to everyone else.

You rolled over to see Eddie smiling at you softly and knowingly. You groaned and lifted your head, feeling some music sheets sticking to your face. Eddie chuckled and removed the sheets, then kissed your forehead. All the other members of Corroded Coffin were looking at you with curious yet sympathetic expressions.

“I guess I fell asleep again,” you said, a little ashamed.

“It would appear so,” Jeff chuckled. 

“Baby, you can’t keep doing this, it’s not healthy to be working this much,” Eddie said softly. 

“I haven’t been working too much, you’re just always extra worried about me,” you pointed out.

“Baby, the band and I had a talk, and we all agree you’re doing too much!” Eddie said softly. 

“I’m not, I’m totally good!” you argued.

“Y/N,” Gareth said slowly, “this is the third band practice in a row that you’ve fallen asleep during. You need to feel better, I mean, when was the last time you had a vegetable?”

“Since when do you care about vegetables?” you giggled, standing up to stretch.

“Since they haven’t been jumping into action to keep my gorgeous girlfriend healthy!” Eddie pouted, holding you around your waist. 

“I’m okay, really, you guys,” you said, kissing Eddie quickly on the lips. “But I love that you care so much for me,” you smiled, “and I love you all.”

“I love you too, which is why-” Eddie scooped you up in his arms, “you are taking a break.”

“A break?” you asked, laughing as Eddie carried you to your room.

“Yes, a break,” Gareth said as he walked behind you and Eddie. 

“You’ve been working way too hard, and you always worry about us, making sure we’ve got food and all our homework done, so it’s about time that we take care of you!” Jeff said. “So,”

“So, we’re going to spend the rest of today and tomorrow making sure that our amazing vocalist is rested and rejuvenated,” Eddie said sweetly, laying you down in your bed and taking off your shoes.

“You guys can’t possibly be serious,” you said. “How are we going to have band practice if I’m not there?”

“Well, that’s the thing,” Jeff smiled, “we’re going to pamper you!” he said.

“Behold, m’lady,” Eddie said as he presented a big bag. “I compiled it while you were snoozing,” he winked.

“And just what is in this mysterious pampering bag?” you asked humorously. 

“Everything you’ll need for a relaxing time with the guy you love most,” Eddie said with a wink, tossing you some pajamas. 

“And we’ll be waiting on you hand and foot, Miss Y/N,” Gareth said royally, making you laugh.

“You guys are too good to me,” you smiled softly.

“You’re always the one looking out for us, so we figured it’s time we pay it back,” Jeff smiled. “Now go get changed! We have face masks in two minutes!”

You changed quickly, and when you exited the bathroom, Eddie was sitting on your bed in comfy clothes and his hair pulled back. 

“First task! We got this gloopy thing for your faces,” Jeff grinned, holding up a few clay mask jars. You chuckled as you sat down in front of Eddie, who kissed you softly.

“Now, apply the mask to your partner,” Gareth instructed. Eddie took a glob of the face mask and dotted it all over your face. 

“You’re being very strategic,” you smirked.

“I recently learned about the T-zone,” Eddie said happily, moving his finger down the bridge of your nose.

“Impressive,” you said as you started to spread the mask on his face.

“And don’t worry, I’ve already requested that these two leave us alone after this,” Eddie whispered, winking at you.

“Aw, I like them! But spending some one-on-one time with you does sound wonderful,” you smiled softly.

“Yes, we’ve been accused of being, what was the word, Gareth?”

“I believe the word was miscreants, Jeff,” Gareth replied, feigning offense. 

“But, because we love you, Y/N, we’re going to be here for whatever you need,” Jeff finished.

“Thanks, you guys, it means a lot to me that you guys care so much.”

“You’re our family, Y/N, and we’ve got to look out for each other. If you still refuse to break up with Eddie, we have to save you some other way,” Jeff shrugged. 

“You see? Miscreants,” Eddie whisper-yelled. 

“Whatever, we’re gonna go pick up food, so we’ll be back,” Gareth said, patting Jeff on the back. 

“Bye, you guys, thanks again!” you said cheerily.

“You are very welcome,” Jeff said, then waved at you both. 

Eddie looked over at you, smiling softly. His face mask cracked a little on the corners of his mouth, and a little by his eyes. He held your hand lightly as you both looked at each other, soaking in the peace and rare alone time. You gazed back at him lovingly, looking into his soft brown eyes. One of his curls had fallen out of his ponytail, so you moved it behind his ear. Wordlessly, he moved himself to sit against the headboard as you moved to sit in front of him, leaning back into his chest. He wrapped his arms around yours as he sighed contentedly. 

“I can’t remember the last time I rested like this,” you said quietly. Eddie hummed and hugged you tighter.

“I’m glad we’re doing this, then. You deserve to take a break just like the rest of us. It’s not good for you to be overworking yourself and also picking up our slack.”

“It doesn’t feel that way,” you said. “I just feel like I’m doing my job.”

“Well, either way, we need to stop taking you for granted. I need to stop taking you for granted.”

“Sweetheart,” you said with concern, turning to face him, “when have you ever taken me for granted?” As you looked at him, you took the washcloth by the bed and began gently removing the mask from his face. 

“All the time! I mean, you’re always so kind, always looking out for me, and I feel like I do nothing. I mean, look at us right now! Here you are taking care of me even when it’s your day,” he said sadly. 

You leaned forward and kissed Eddie, holding his cheek. The kiss was deeper and longer than usual, and Eddie, a bit surprised, held your waist softly. 

“Loving you and the band makes me happy,” you said, rubbing his cheek.

Eddie grabbed the other washcloth and pensively cleaned your face. “I just don’t want it to take away from you or make you feel like you’re not loved back by me, and I want you to know I appreciate you,” he said somberly.

“I do know,” you encouraged him. “You can’t take someone for granted if you love them, and you, Eddie Munson, are a lover,” you said quietly, pressing your forehead to his. He smiled as he held your hands, leaning in for another kiss.

For my Hobbies, I really love a lot of things basically… like sketching, drawing, writing, edit, playing games(so many omg), I also play Lacrosse and Volleyball, making music on garage band(getting used to it), Reading, Being with my online/irl friends, and Playing the Piano and Harp!

For my interests/likes, enstars (switchP), rhythm games, doukyuusei, mystic messenger, twf, genshin, a silent voice, lemon demon/neil cicierega in general, eddsworld, homestuck, the goldfinch, horimiya, fnaf, heathers, sasaki and miyano, blueycapsules, hxh, saiki k, hamilton (sadly, im sorry.)

Some of my traits, I talk about my intrests a lot, Im pretty silly when I’m with someone like I’ll say stuff like hai as a joke a lot please dont take it seriously, I hate negitive mentions of my voice, comparing me to people/saying stuff like "you remind me of ____", spiders. i am very bad at comforting sorry, im fine with taking with people but i will probably be very awkward until we get to know eachother more(i hope i did that right)

Comforts, cats, hajime hinata (danganronpa), a silent voice, albedo (genshin impact), lemon demon, felix kranken (twf), bread, sharks, christmas music/christmas in general, scp 3008 (roblox game), get a snack at 4am (roblox game), hotels, and my friends!

After reading through the information given, I believe that you are best paired with Courier!

When you first meet each other, don’t worry if your’re feeling awkward and ultimately embarrass yourself in front of Courier. The man is just as emotionally constipated, but he won’t think anything of it if you stumble over your words or if you do something that is unconventional when it comes to starting acquaintanceships. It takes practice to become used to a person so you’ll eventually get it right as long as you’re persistent. 

While Courier isn’t one to hang out with too many people at a time, he finds that he’s somewhat at ease when he’s around you. As a listener, he likes it best when you rant and rave about your interests. Sometimes, you’ll catch him smirking (but never laughing because he’ll never live it down if you caught him) at the corner of his eyes. If you tease him, he might relent and tell you that you’re actually funny, but don’t expect it so soon. Courier needs some time to get used to you before he starts emoting freely.  

Courier is a man who values hard work and what a person stands for. He’ll never compare you to anyone but yourself. If he finds out that someone hurts your feelings on purpose, he’ll make it his personal mission to make sure that you’re doing well in the aftermath. He won’t go as far as to pummel the offender, but if he ever sees them again, he might say something.

It’s okay if you’re not that great at comforting people. Courier can easily relate to that. He values actions over words anyway. To those he treasures, he will do small gestures for them like cooking their favorite foods or taking them out on a ride on his motorcycle. He doesn’t expect the same in return since you’re bad at comfort, all he wants for you is that you’re doing well. 

As for your interests, Courier can’t say that he enjoys all of them, but if you ask nicely, he’ll consent to playing a few rhythm games and watching your favorite animes. However, he’ll jump at the chance for some physical exercise. You might have to teach him lacrosse, but he’ll probably thrash you at volleyball. There’s just something cathartic about spiking balls at your enemy’s side of the court with deadly precision that gets him excited. 

In return for all of your enthusiasm concerning your interests, Courier will take you around his bike, teach you how to cook, and walk you around the city to see some of the prettier sights that Kansai has to offer. (Before you ask, no, he’s not doing it because he thinks you’re a good friend. Why would you think that? He just wants to return the favor when you share the most vulnerable parts of your life to him).

Bonus: A good way to annoy Courier is to play Christmas music nonstop months before the actual Christmas date. He’ll threaten to run you over with his bike, but it’s worth it seeing the annoyed look in his eyes because he doesn’t mean it. 

To sum it all up, you and Courier have the foundations for a great, lasting friendship. Just be sure to communicate, lest there be misunderstandings!
