Journalist Siraj Abudayeh ( @siraj0), who lost everything in November 2023, wanted his story to be shared.

After almost two years of genocide, through which he got displaced multiple times, he finally had the chance to return home in the North. Now, once again he faces the danger of artillery shells and bombs and has to evacuate as the area has been marked for attack.

Please donate and boost; do what you can do to help. Chuffed campaign allows you to donate as low as €1 euro. Remember, that food is also scarce and really these campaigns are lifelines for families like Siraj's , where all twenty four members depend on the fundraiser.

Also, credit to Gazan artist Mohammed Al-Haj’s piece from his Displacement series for reference and inspiration in the first panel. The piece speaks volumes to the loss and desolation of such an experience, and it is something that no one can truly fathom unless they have been a victim of it themselves. I highly encourage people to go and support him as well.

a palestinian journalist and father of three has had the tumblr account he used to advocate for his family terminated without warning, in yet another act of censorship against palestinians on this dying website

my dear friend siraj @siraj0 has had to remake his tumblr several times with several different emails over the past several months because of unjust termination and repeated shadowbanning. there have even been instances where his account was restricted mere hours after it was created. this has all severely hindered his ability to promote his family's survival fund, which supports over twenty people in his family, including ten children, through a genocide. he cannot maintain his online audience or connect with others on this site if he is terminated. it is clear at this point that tumblr is trying to silence him entirely.

which is why i want those who see this to share, not just this post, but posts by siraj himself on his new blog, @siraj0. he will continue to advocate his family's survival on this blog.

Now that I have your attention, please take time read Siraj's @siraj0 story. He is a Palestinian journalist supporting a large family of 20+ people, 12 of them being children and teenagers. He had his accounts deleted over and over, his original GoFundMe campaign has been unfairly deleted and he has to watch as his whole family and surroundings are bombed without mercy. He needs to reach €10.000 in order to afford means of transportation to his family in order to escape the bombings

recently israel bombed the last remaining fibre-optic route in gaza, cutting off internet access to the entire gaza strip.

my friend @siraj0 abudayeh lost his only source of income. like many gazans, he relies on online donations from people abroad to afford the basic necessities of life. prior to the blackout, donations had stalled so much he now struggles to afford a single bag of flour for his entire family of 24 and has gone days without eating.
