Here's a bit of TTT from today's writing session.

"They were after the packet you sent me," she explained quietly, not looking at him. "I'm afraid I lost your photosphere; it got smashed when they..." "Did they hurt you?" The earnestness of the question caught Rilna off-guard. Karevin cared in a way few people did since Grandmother's passing. She cherished it for a moment, before putting on a tough face. "No, they just... shocked me a little, I suppose. I'm fine."

Spoiler alert: she isn't fine.

I realised that this is going slowly because I'm not familiar with the characters' voices (yet? anymore?). It's been almost 6 years since I've written the discovery draft, and so much other writing has happened since then. Hence I started writing the easier scenes out of order to get back into it.
