For my very bestest friend, I had the mug made! Maybe someday we can come up with a better design but it was pretty last minute this time around. I wanted you to have it for Christmas though because truer words have never been spoken. I also got you this fancy, personalized planner. It has space to plan out everything you need from flowers, to seating arrangements even a day of checklist so nothing gets left behind. And of course, your very own Christmas cupcakes that you don’t have to share with anyone (ok, maybe Harry!). 

I love you friend, and I am so happy that this year has brought you so much joy. I hope you and Harry have a very Merry Christmas and that 2018 brings you everything you’ve ever dreamed and more.

Powered by Coffee, 365, 24/7. The shirt seemed to precise to pass up! And the cupcakes, of course - espresso flavored because you didn’t get any coffee this year (weird, right?) so I figured they were a pretty close runner up. The helmet is for Gaelyn and her new bike! You can wear it too if you like, but I’m not sure it will fit right! And lastly, you didn’t think I’d let this whole spa thing just roll on by did you? Now that I know this little tidbit about you, I thought I’d treat you to very own, at home, spa treatment. 

Thank you for being my friend for one whole year! I hope there’s many more to come but in the meantime, I’m wishing you and that perfect little angel of yours the very merriest of Christmases and an unforgettable 2018!

My partner, my friend, I hope your Christmas is filled with all the magic and joy the universe can hold - I’m looking forward to another year of laughing, creating and believing with you! May 2018 be the best you’ve ever had! 

I saw this print and immediately thought of the many conversations we’ve had about the importance of kindness and I thought it was a nice reminder that it all starts with being kind to ourselves. The cupcake bath bombs just smelled yummy and I thought someone amazing deserved them, so obviously, you came to mind first! The bracelet also reminded me of you - I love the message but I also love watching you work and hearing you perform, so never, ever stop singing you song! And lastly, given the chaos that is our world, a day planner always come in handy but this one is not only (almost) as pretty as you, but sets the tone for whats to come right from the start! Merry Christmas, my friend!

There are three things I think about when Christmastime rolls around: 1) sweets. 2) my amazing friends 3) the importance of giving. So for all of you, I’ve included some homemade gingerbread cupcakes along with a small token of my appreciation that is very near and dear to my heart. 

The Giving Keys was started by a very special friend of mine who saw a need and wanted to approach a solution in a whole new way. The company employees men and women who are transitioning from homelessness - each key is hand stamped and put together by someone who has faced a great deal of struggles and is working hard to get back on their feet. Each key is stamped with a one of a number of phrases (I have chosen ‘Believe’, given the season). The hope is, is that each time you wear it, you will be reminded to believe in yourself, to believe in others, to believe in magic. And if, by chance, you come across someone who you feel needs those thoughts a little bit more than you do, pay it forward and pass it along. With any luck, we can spread the message everywhere! 

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and that 2018 is as good to you as you have been to me!

1 - Comfort comes first, always. No matter how much something might look good on tohers if it's not comfortable I won't wear it.

2 - I love to cuddle, I hate being lonely so when I have good company to just relax and cuddle is the most comfortable and best time.

3 - The only reason why I don't wear high heels is because I like being short, even though I don't think they are uncomfortable at all, I don't get why people complain about it.

So, just how many pictures of Pennywise costumes were sent your way on Halloween? I saw a few walking around while trick-or-treating and I’m really glad that neither me nor my kids have a clown phobia. Red balloons are officially ruined, too. @skarsgardb​

Do you remember when we talked about how complicated it can be to find presents for the entire family when you have many brothers? Well the good thing about it is that you got as many presents as you give and I got several jumpers this year. I’ve never been more grateful for it now that I realize how cold Lake Tahoe is gonna be. Thursday’s were usually Taylor’s favorite day of the week in Bayview since that’s when her cooking class took place, but as she was busy with evermore’s announcement, the class didn’t take place in its usual time slot. Luckily, she was able to reschedule it last minute, just in time for the holiday season. As Taylor prepped to teach her demonstration on making a chocolate yule log, her mind wandered to the many times she helped her mother in the kitchen, baking some sweet or savory delight and being giddy with the aspect of seeing their hard work result in a delectable treat enjoyed by the rest of the family or friends. It was mostly why she began offering cooking and baking classes. Being able to have a piece of home with her was something she loved so much. 

Around her, she could hear people coming in and out of the class. Some only staying for the first part, with some coming in for the second part. She watched as some new and familiar faces made their way inside, giving them a quick smile as they sat down in front of their chosen island. Baking ingredients and utensils were already placed onto the island tops along with red aprons and the recipe for the yule log. Taylor was about to start her demonstration when she heard one more person stumble into the room, and a smile was spread upon her face when she noticed who it was. “Oh hey! I’m so glad you could make it! I know we talked about it briefly, but I wasn’t sure if you were coming or not,” her red lips spoke as she moved from where she was stood to walk over and greet Bill with a hug. “You can sit anywhere you’d like. There’s no assigned seats or anything.” Taylor motioned to some of the empty seats at the islands. It always warmed her heart whenever one of her friends joined in on a class, and she was happy to see that it was Bill who walked through the door. It had been months since they zip lined back in Bled, and since then, it felt like their schedules never added up to where they could catch up on new life events and other things. Now seemed like the perfect time.

I’m late to the party here and I just finally got around to watching It Chapter 2. Never in my life have I been so terrified yet turned on at the sight of Pennywise. You deserve all the awards for it. @skarsgardb​

MERRY CHRISTMAS, BILL. Christmas presents for @skarsgardb:

Dear Baby Daddy, 

2020 has been one of the hardest years of my life and I don’t know that I’m fully capable of putting everything into words though I honestly do keep trying.  I think that sometimes in life you feel like you’re making progress, starting to feel okay and then it hits you that maybe you’re not as okay as you thought that you were.  It’s a work in progress and our relationship is something that I’m always going to be fighting for even if all it can be at this time in our lives is as co-parents.

Christmas is a time of honesty though and you should always no that no matter how difficult things have been, how hard they are and will continue to be for the foreseeable future, you were and will always be my very best friend.  This year has been especially hard because it just feels off. I am so grateful for our daughter though and there is absolutely nothing in the world that I wouldn’t do for her.  I know you’re the same way.  She’s so beautiful and smart and I can’t wait to watch her grow up with you.

The first gift is a ring.  I know that’s a little weird of a gift from an ex but it’s opal that’s Dylan’s birthstone. There is also blue kyanite, which is apparently good for the throat chakra. Yes, I hear you laughing about me and my crystals from a distance but hey, I gift with love.  I’ll let you read into opening throat chakras. Let’s resist jokes here.

I also got you a coat because I think it’s going to be snowy and if you’re going t be dragged into it by our daughter, the least I can do is ensure you’re warm.  I also go you a knife to cut people with for reasons.   It’s an antique.  I don’t think anyone has actually ever been cut with it though.

Lastly, some Fika because I still remember a thing or two.

Just like every other vacation she went on, Billie made sure to schedule in enough drinking time. After all, some liquid courage in her system just made her that much more adventurous and free spirited. After an afternoon of pacing herself while day drinking, Billie was ready to go out and explore the night life. She made sure to pick up some food on the way, since drinking on an empty stomach was never a good idea. The blonde made her way into a bustling pub that was echoing with the sounds of some classic 80s hits. She weaved her way through the crowd until she found herself right in front of the bar. The bartender made his way over and she placed her order for a cranberry vodka, her typical go-to cocktail. As she waited for her drink to be made, she looked around and scanned the crowd. Her eyes locked with a familiar man across the way. Once her drink was in her hand, she made her way over to him and scooted herself into the barstool next to him. “Hey, I know you,” she said with a smile. “You’re klutzy Bill, right? I’m klutzy Billie,” she teased as she remembered back to the fake indie band name they came up with together. “Can I buy you a drink or a shot or something?” @skarsgardb

Usually, about once a month, I have to put myself on a social media ban to prevent myself from drowning in sadness.

I think that sadness is an unhealthy state of being and think and do whatever I can to not feel that way when I find myself there.

I set a time frame that I will allow myself to be sad about something and at the end of that time period, I have to either do something about it or let it go.

Thank you for being the best father a little girl could ever hope to have.  I know that things have been weird for us all this year but there is literally nothing that would have stopped us from getting you presents for your birthday. You deserve to know how much we appreciate the things that do and have done for us.  I know that you said that you just wanted to get a little extra time with Dylan for your special day but I literally refuse to accept just that.  Have you ever known me to listen and not make a fuss?  There are no exceptions to this rule.

I used to really ramble in these birthday letters to you. I promise that I won’t do that this year. There are so many things that I want to say that I’m not quite sure that I am ready to say. I’m also not sure that it like the appropriate time to say it. I just want you to know that I wouldn’t be the person that I am today if I’d have never met you.  You had such a massive impact on my life beyond just making me the mother of your child.  When I needed you in my life, you were there.  I just want you to know that no matter where our lives take us and how many years go by, I am always going to be there for you and annoy you by celebrating days like today.
