basically after the whole inquistor thing i got the lathander's weapon by Inserting the disk and not destroying anything then made my way back to the room with the wolves but the comander and the wolves met me half way there i was skeptical on fighting them but lae'zel said OUT LOUD "my kin want to kill me now? Fine lets bleed all of them"

so basically she will not get mad and you will not lose aproval points with her if you do it this way

but again my paladin would not just kill a massive amount of gith like that so after we dealt with the comander and the wolves we snuck into the storage area thing and entered another unavoidable fight with the 5 giths there but non lethal damage was on because you guessed it my paladin WOULD NOT KILL LIKE THAT

we knocked them out Astarion looted them for really powerful gear and then we used the side door to leave forever.

Thats it no gith kids or youth dead blown up no birds dead no destruction no angry lae'zel infact she was actually pretty content with this ending and EVERYONE was surprised we made it out alive peacefully and the quest was marked complete without missing any steps or content.

Honestly this just tells me that we need YouTube playthroughs to come back because just having the min/maxers do content is so boring and repetitive because they dont actually care about anything but efficiency and loot

You know what’s extremely ironic about the whole idea that cartoons and animated movies are for kids and most usefull as "babysitting movies" as Guillermo del Toro called those films made with such a backwards sentiment?

Let me tell you a story:

Once upon a time; a man was working on a project for which he was very passionate about, a project that involved a skill that had been perfected for many years by him, his team and many other teams of artists. But he was met with many problems.

Nobody really expected him to succeed and thought he was just drawing his end ever nearer. A "folly" is what they called it.

Eventually he ran out of money and the only way to get the money needed to even complete his folly was by asking a loan from the bank. Easier said than done, because as nobody belived in him, they would not expect him to pay the loan back.

Undettered; and despite the fact that if he failed to be a success he would lose his home, he decided to bring some of the paintings, drawings and concepts his team had created, to show the bank's board of directors what they were hoping to do.

One of the directors proclamied that in the future no one would remember the name of anyone in the room except for the name of the man who indeed got his loan and then completed his project.

The man was Walt Disney, and what he showed was a half-finished Snow White.

That's right, Walt Disney had to charm a group of adults with his first movie before he could charm anyone else with it. And if he hadn't succeded, then animated movies would have probably not become a thing while animation itself faded into obscurity.

And that's not the end of it either, it's established in the movie that Snow White will be saved in the end like anyone who had heard the fairy tale knew already. And despite that, you know what the people at the premiere of Snow White did back in 1937?

They cried their hearts out during the funeral.

Fully grown adults who had heard of Walt's Folly as it was called and were skeptical of watching such a long "cartoon" were moved to the same tears as the seven dwarfs.

Say what you will about the man himself, but you gotta give Walt Disney this: he knew that if adults weren't moved by his work then entertaining kids would be the least of his worries.

Hi its me again (the one who had the nazuna idea) and I kinda wanted to build on it, I'd it's ok with you.

I think in the season finale when Knights and Shu have one last battle the Knights start losing really badly, maybe due to new models of the dolls? But in the end when it seems that it might be over for the Knights, Mika (who wasn't present for the first part of the battle) shows up to the fight and yells, very confidently something like "I BROUGHT HELP" and it's Nazuna, in his old Valkyrie outfit and whatever weapon he has, and he uses smth like healing magic on the Knights and starts helping them defeat Shu.

I think he would also be one of those side characters that show up every episode being really creepy and watching the Knights (they don't notice ofc) but he starts showing up more when Mika starts his redemption, like in the background comforting him or smth. I think he'd even drop little clues around for the Knights to realise who Shu and Mika were.

I also kind of wanted to talk about the Knights getting their powers, but if you already have an idea then that's great!

I think there was another posts detailing what would happen in the first and second episodes, but I think that much like other precure shows (my main reference is glitter force) for the first 5-6 episodes it's each of the main cast getting their powers. So Arashi gets hers from the cat first, right?

I think Arashi's cat should show up each episode to give one of the gang the brush, eventually giving one to Mika too maybe.

First Leo and Ritsu get theirs, for obvious reasons and being present for the first battle.

Then I think Tsukasa would be next, he's pretty skeptical about it at first but after witnessing them fighting he decides to confront them and join the gang properly.

Then it's Izumi, much like other magical girl shows the last character is hardest to get involved. I think he would have the situation explained to him but still refuse bc he's busy (maybe he didn't want to potentially endanger people like Makoto or thinks he's not "good" enough for the magical Knights. It takes a lot of convincing but they get there eventually.

Also consider: Shu calling in Double Face to take care of the Knights for like an episode or two after Mika leaves (but that may contradict some stuff, it's not like all the antagonists need to be magical, the may just detective their way through it)

im thinking about hsr class system ngl, smtsmth Nazuna being harmony/nihility smthsmth Mika being the hunt smthsmth Arashi as destruction bc is very versatile... and Izumi/hunt, Leo/erudition, Tsukasa/preservation and Ritsu and Shu as nihility...

I'm rewatching the end of TMA before TMAGP comes out tomorrow and I have a lot of thoughts about the interdimentional trolley problem:

The thing is I always belived Jon was right - I even consider the fact that there is more stories to be told in this multiverse it's another proof things got worse because of them - but I used to think the others were wrong for the right reasons and Jon was right for the wrong. And while I understand everyone's reasoning rewatching it I think I was wrong.

I had convinced myself that Jon just wanted to end the world via killing everyone because he was suicidal and wanting to martyr himself. And as I was watching the debate. Understanding that both yeah Jon no one is going to hear you when you're being a lil' bitch about it (his "you just wanna stab Jonah" was low and bs and he knew it) and also everyone's motivations, how Melanie and Georgie just did so much to protect people and still lost them in the end, Basira's lonley pilgramage into the domains watching everyone's suffering and Martin's hope. And like Martin dismissing Jon EVERY SINGLE TIME with the whole "you're just suicidal" argument (in softer ways but still) almost convinced me again. But than Jon sayed: "so we are going to just hope for the best then" and it clicked to me.

For four whole seasons Jon has just been lying to himself hoping for the best: that he would prove he deserved his promotion and everything would be okay, that he could just ignore Prentiss and the worms and pretend to be a skeptical and the supernatural wouldn't attack him, that if he discovered who killed Gertrude every tension in the Archives would resolve itself and everyone could be friends, that if he broke the tabble he would kill the NotThem and if he killed the NotThem Sasha might be back, that they were actually doing all that for a good cause, that if they stopped the Unknowing everything would be fine, that he was not really turning into a monster, that he could just stop taking live statements after the first one and all would be okay, that after the bullet Melanie would forgive him, that if he survived rescuing Daisy he would show he was usefull and Basira would forgive him, that if he stopped the Black Sun, that if he rescued Martin from the Lonely, that if he just Knew more, discovered more, that if... And he was wrong every single time. He was just gaining trauma and turning it into bad decisions rinse and repeat in the hope that this would be the one thing that would solve everything and it ended the world.

So he hears: "If we send the fears alway probably it won't be really that bad, the thousands of universes won't really end and this broken traumatized universe will heal and everything will be fine, we just need to do this one thing." And is it a surprise he is skepticall?

I get Jon more. That's more than being a martyr is wanting to take the actual hard decisions and deal with the consequences instead of just hoping for the best one more time.

I get everyone more. I understand why they choose it. The want to fix things. Like I totally think Jon is right but also if I was on the debate I would vote to send the fears away, I would go to every reason on the book for it. And like don't get me wrong Jon is doing it because he is suicidal and because he just doesn't want more guilt (wich is weird because for me is a guilt either way scenario) but as everything is more complex.

Also I think that while they would have made the same decision the characthers we know would be a bit happier in the finale if both everyone wasn't so obviously against even hearing Jon even less considering his points from the start and Jon wasn't being an unsurferable asshole defending his points, like he got into defensive attack mode so quickly and like I get it, it's frustrating to not be heard but also holy shit he was such an asshole. Like they where still at least humoring him until he started just accusing everyone all the fucking time. I love Jon but he is a really hard person to talk to because he will go for the personal shit and the "you're evil actually" the moment you challenge his beliefs. But them if this bitches could do a healthy comunication they wouldn't even be there so what's new.

I wasn't gonna post anything until I get back from my vacation but I'm reading the prequel to "they both die at the end" and it prompted an idea of a little crossover sad fic with a tragic mcd ending and I'm gonna break my own heart with this one for sure 😂 (@thebravebitch said what I have so far is good and I trust her judgment lol ❤️)

so here's a little snippet I wrote on my phone bc I couldn't help myself and wait a few days 😂

His phone ringing wakes him up. At first he's confused, not registering it's his phone, since it's not even his ringtone. It takes him a few seconds to recognize it, and when he does, he looks at his phone and freezes, the words "DEATH-CAST" showing up as the caller ID.

He doesn't panic. When he answers the call, they'll tell him he's going to die in the next twenty four hours - or, twenty two hours, since it's after 2am already, they took their time to deliver this news. But he doesn't panic, he doesn't worry, he just freezes, and wonders if he should answer the call at all. After all, he's not even sure he believes in this whole damn thing.

One thing he does know is that no one will even try to convince him that he's going to die soon. They don't know shit.

It's not a new information that Eddie Diaz is what can be classified as a skeptic. He's not a believer in supernatural forces, magic, jinxes, ghosts, lately he even struggles with religion, despite his abuela's best efforts. Everyone in his life is aware of that.

So when this dude showed up out of nowhere claiming he can predict when people are gonna die, with no details or explanation, and give them one last day to sort out their affairs and say goodbye - Eddie called bullshit. He wasn't about to spend money on the off chance that they'll let him know when he's about to die. With being in the army, shot at every day, and even now with being a firefighter, he's aware of his own mortality more than your average person, he's already had more brushes with death than most people.

But he bought the subscription anyway, for his whole family. He had his parents, his abuela, his tía, and his wife trying to convince him, and they didn't succeed - he still thinks it's bullshit - but at least that got them to shut up about it. So, since then they spent thousands every year on subscribtions to this dumb service for himself, Shannon, and Christopher, and it was a waste of money, in Eddie's opinion.

And then, shortly after he moved to LA with his son, when he reconnected with his estranged wife, trying to see where this would go, but no matter what, his son was getting his mom back, and things were starting to look up again - Shannon got the call.

Eddie didn't belive it, but she did, and she decided to live this day like it's her last - which it ended up being, after all, but Eddie's still not sure if it wasn't some freak coincident.

That's what he's trying to tell her, when she's asking for a divorce that they don't have time to get finalized before he becomes a widower. She looks at him over the table in the little café they met, and there's nothing but peaceful acceptance, mixed with a bit of sorrowful regret for what she'll miss, in her eyes.

"Please make sure Christopher remembers I love him. I loved him, and I'll continue to love him from wherever we go after." she says with feeling, but at the same time she's almost casual about it. As if the prospect of dying within who knows how many hours wasn't a big deal. As if the only big deal is leaving her child once again, this time permanently.

Eddie can't take this. He won't believe this.

He still has trouble believing when he arrives on a call to a car accident later, and sees Shannon lying there on the street. Logically, he knows it makes sense, there's been a lot of people he's heard about who got the call and died, there's no reason not to believe it. But there's also not a lot of reasons to believe it, it might all just be a coincidence. Eddie's not about lose Shannon. Chris is not about to lose his mom. It's not fair. And he can't help blaming the stupid Death-Cast program.

While I agree that the energy of that dynamic is truly "[Fjord:] You're stuck in here with me," the end of the episode has it that Melora removed the mark and, with it, Zehir's hook in Fjord and whatever remnants of their agreement remained. Fjord feels that small sliver of cold shadow become smaller until it vanishes entirely. So, Fjord and Zehir are not stuck in the room with one another at all anymore.

That said, even if Fjord was still marked, I don't think Fjord would be interested in reforming, changing, or affecting Zehir in any way. Fjord is generally not interested in changing or reforming anyone at all, let alone Betrayer Gods. He is someone who dispenses advice when necessary, but he fully believes that the choice to become this or that is their own.

For example, he does not seek to change Essek, he simply assesses whether Essek is interested in changing and whether Essek is making those steps, but he himself does not push Essek toward it until after he has judged that Essek is already making those choices. Fjord was also the most skeptical about whether Lucien is capable of changing under the influence and weight of Molly; he always voted to kill Lucien outright and never held out hope that Lucien could improve. His intervention against Kingsley taking the pact is not solely for Kingsley's sake, but largely for himself and his own sense of responsibility; his advice is after the fact, and it is not advice on what to choose but rather advice on being more thoughtful about the choosing, to be more aware that such choices have weight.

Fjord generally does not try to change hearts. He generally waits to understand motivations, intentions, and choices, then he judges on that. He is very much someone who lets people be who they will be. He does not deal in "I can change them", he only deals in "they can get their act together, or they can lose their head to my sword".

Fjord is an intelligent man, and he does not make the mistakes that Zerxus does. Fjord is not someone who seeks to reform evil but to excise rot. He is also an intensely modest and humble person. That level of humility is so much that I cannot imagine Fjord ever thinking himself capable of influencing a Betrayer God, thus he would not even try. But, again, Fjord is someone who does not attempt to solve such problems by changing hearts. He is a swift consequences, so-be-it sort of person.

The tether between them is broken, cut by Melora, but even if it remained, I do not think Fjord would attempt to reform or change or influence Zehir at all. It is so far out of the way Fjord works and thinks, particularly in the context of these pacts. He can offer and forge bargains, but he cannot change the character of the being he is bargaining with.

He shrugged off the thought and set their bag down on the couch so he was able to help Mateo organize everything

"Alright. The drinks and snacks are done how's that pillow fort going?" 

"Its done!" 

Niko responded from the inside "it looks a bit wonky and like it'll fall down at any moment..but thats fine i guess, not like its gonna hurt if the whole thing comes down on us" 

The taller male chuckled as he crawled inside the pillow fort and laid down besides his partner 

Niko was right about how it looked but the inside was cozy, there were pillows and stuffed animals inside and a fluffy grey blanket with moon and stars sewn into it 

"Its been a long and tiring week and its raining outside, perfect to cuddle with the person i love the most"

He scooched over and wrapped their arms around mateo 

"I love you too niko, but cariño...its still wednesday" 

"I know but-" He yawned half way through the sentence " we had class, work, assignments and many more things to do, now there's whole holiday today thats gonna be extended all the way to friday so the week is..pretty much done" 

He recieved a giggle in response to that logic 

"You look tired.sleep a little,i'll stay here with you" 

As much as Niko didnt want to admit it, a nap would be very nice

He pulled Mateo even closer and rested against his chest, the rain outside was loud and the winds were roaring, niko hated all of those sounds but the sound of his boyfriend's heartbeat made the Long haired male relax and forget all about the noises that scared him 

 And just like that, a few minutes later both were asleep inside of the pillow fort that eventually fell down on them

For the question about skepticism: I find it extremely difficult to belive that crystals have any effect on the physical body, but a lot of metaphysical books will talk about how this stone helps heal the liver or that stone heals the kidney, etc. Even the historical belief that amethyst helps stave off drunkenness is pretty sus to me.

Medical claims in general are extremely suspect in my opinion.

Never heard of the drunkenness claim before, but that seems hilariously easy to disprove.

Adrien's giddiness at his sucess carried them through dinner, piano practice and showers.

His father had been too busy grinding out commentary about the stunt Felix had pulled to even object to it.

If he had known that was all it would take, he would have jumped in traffic earlier. Tourists were always ignoring their own safety.

"I can't belive I get to go." Adrien flopped on his bed, sighing deeply. "This is the best day of my life."

He could rain on Adrien's parade, but it was honestly adorable to feel and see. It was just school- Felix had been going to school his entire life - but Adrien had never been allowed 'normal' things like that.

He went to sit on his own bed, intending to read and provide a captive audience - but there was something hard on his pillow. "What's this?"

"Did you steal it?" Adrien asked, popping up.

Felix scowled at his cousin. "Something strange appears in our room and your first assumption is that I stole it?"

Adrien raised an eyebrow. "Felix, when you first moved in, we stole a bed from the guest room. And furniture. And clothes."

"Your father didn't want us to share a room. Extreme messurss were required to show him the error of his ways." Felix shrugged. "I've never seen this before."

"Chloe was over earlier. Maybe she left it up here?" Adrien reached for it, but Felix swatted his hand away.

"Mine." He told him, picking up the box and opening it.

And immediately dropped it when a light shot out.

Adrien jerked back, nearly falling.

"A kwami." Felix breathed.

"A what?" Adrien asked, facinated as he stared at the tiny cat.

The cat looked skeptical, glancing between them. "Twins, huh?"

"A kwami, like Duusu and Nooroo." He glanced at Adrien, but the names didn't seem to jog anything - Adrien felt blank and uncomprehending at the other end of their link.

"Wait, you know Duusu and Nooroo?" The kwami darted forward.

"We grew up with them. They were always there. Your dad made you dolls that looked like them so we could take pictures with them because you were always carrying Nooroo around.."

"Do you know where they are?" The kwami asked urgently.

He was torn for a moment, desperate to press at Adrien's mind and find where the blocks were - equally ingrained was listening to a Kwami. "I haven't seen them in years. Not since Adrien's mom got sick."

The kwami deflated slightly. "Oh. But they were together?"

"Yeah. I think...probably they got handed to one of their friends. But they were there when we were kids, Nooroo was always getting carried around. He'd sing you to sleep."

Thr Kwami’s face was strange, a little wistful. "He sang for you?"

He nodded. "All the time."

"Shit." The kwami darted back to the box and the ring. "Look. Look. We gotta focus."

"You really don't remember?" Felix could feel the distress coming from Adrien and knew he was echoing it with his own.

"No." Adrien's voice was a whisper.

"When you were four, you hid a piece of birthday cake to share with them because your dad said they couldn't go to the party. Nooroo convinced you to give him your first tooth."

"He did?" The kwami asked.

"Who are you? How did you get in here?" Felix demanded.

"Well, first off. Tone." The kwami studied him. "Name's Plagg, I am the Kwami of distruction."

Felix stared at him.

"That sounds cool." Adrien ventured.

Felix huffed, heading into the closet and coming back with an armful of a box. It had at one time been a cigar box, but Adrien had stolen it for important momentos he didn't want being gotten rid of.

He knew the dolls were in there. "Duusu used to get scared of fake Duusu." He explained. "But Nooroo always just seemed happy that you missed him." They were just as he remembered them, tiny enough to be clutched in a hand. Delicate stitches. Perfect copies of the real things.

Gabriel had spent time on them.

"I'm Adrien, he's Felix. You were on his bed." Adrien said softly, tracing his fingers over the butterfly mobile. "This made music."

"No. Nooroo sang." He glanced at Plagg, questioning.

"Nooroo sings." Plagg agreed. "Very well, honestly. He always had an amazing singing voice."

Felix nodded. "You really don't remember?"

Adrien shook his head. "I remember the dolls, and the music. But nothing else."

"We're doing this in the wrong order." Plagg repeated. "One of you has been chosen. To be my kid. And probably Tikki's chosen is wandering around out there waiting for us."

Felix and Adrien exchanged a look.

"Should we ask my dad? About Nooroo and Duusu?" Adrien asked cautiously.

"No. We can't trust him. If you're forgetting things..." Felix took a deep breath. "It's easier. For me."

Adrien looked wistful. "It would be fun."

"It's very fun." Plagg agreed.

"Right." Felix glanced between them.

"It was left on your bed. It was meant for you." Adrien felt wistful over the link, but resolved.

"Which one of you met with the guardian?" Plagg asked. "I've never had twins before."

"Who is the guardian?" Adrien asked.

"Old chinese guy."

Felix grimaced. "That was me, then. He tried to get hit by a car."

"He didn't talk to you?" Plagg scrubbed his face. "This is great."

Felix couldn't have agreed more.

Plagg had worked him through how to find the holder of the other Miraculous- which was not intuitive but Plagg seemed to think it would be fine.

He landed on the roof of Notre Dame, peering down at the girl in the courtyard.

She seemed to be trying to figure out her weapon, nervous as she shifted around.

He blinked slowly, letting himself observe for a moment before jumping down.

She squeaked and threw her weapon at him - he batted it aside reflexively.

"Who are you supposed to be?" She demanded.

"Cath Plaug." He retorted, stepping closer. "Who are you?"

"Um. L-Ladybug? When did you have time to come up with a name?" She asked.

"My kwami told me I needed to come up with a mask, that our identity needed to be protected." He explained.

"Right. Of course." She looked uneasy. "I was trying to convince her that she was wrong. So I only caught a little bit of what she told me. We are supposed to...to be looking for..."

"The butterfly holder. Whoever they are." Felix told her.

"Right. Or else there will be a disaster."

Nooroo had been active for almost twenty year, at least. There was no disaster. Why now? What were tgey doing here now?

"Right." He agreed, instead of arguing. "I asked a lot of questions."

"At least one of us did." She grimaced. "So these. Butterflies. They're..."

Something moved in the shadow, and the hair on the back of his neck stood straight up. "Move over here."

"What?" She didn't move, but whatever was behind her did.

Reflex made him shoot forward, tackling her out of the way.

"Oh sh-" she breathed against his chest, just before they hit the ground.

And after that, it was too fast for more than reacting.

Have you got any spooky stories? What's the creepiest thing that's ever happened while you were alone? ever been to a haunted house? Met/talked to ghosts? Anything interesting happen while you were on a graveyard by any chance?

Oh, boy...

I'm pretty sure there's a ghost in my house. More than once i'd hear a heavy breathing while being alone, very close, like someone else was there with me. And i'm not the only one who have hear it.

I especially remember one night i was alone and i started hearing tiny steps. At first i thought it was my cat, but my cat was there in the room with me 🤡and i know they were not wood creaks or something like that because they had the cadence of footsteps. So... yeah. I'm not at all scared to be honest, my family has many experiences with spirits and we all notice if a presence is bad, and this one is not.

I consider myself a rather skeptical person but i profoundly belive in ghosts.

Whew, thanks for saying what you said in your last answer. I’ve been a Jikook-skeptic/side-eyer (as in…I think there could have been something there but I don’t like turning it into a belief the way many seem to do), but after the last few lives, and especially after JK’s last live… Whew. Lol. It’s like you said: Jimin was clearly at home chilling, Jungkook was out with other friends and then went back to his own apartment to get drunk on live with armys. If nothing else, this should completely destroy the image Jikookers have of their relationship as practically married domestic bliss?

Jungkook also looked a little off to me — no huge red flags and nothing too concerning, but between Bam’s health, the sasaeng incidents and this period of transition in general I think he might not have been feeling his best and the alcohol brought that out a bit. If I were in a situation like that and I was (even part-time) co-habitating with my longterm significant other I would probably go to them for a cuddle and support, not… do drunken karaoke for my adoring fans and then pass out on the couch. Idk. It felt a bit like looking for support in the wrong place iykwim. I agree that he can be very random but he also seems a little restless/lost. The way he’s behaving in general gives off the energy of a single twentysomething having a bit of a life crisis. (I love JK this isn’t a drag! And not trying to blame the company for not giving him work or anything — I only think he’s trying to figure out who he is outside of the group. That’s the impression I get anyway. Nothing to be hugely concerned about.)

- Unpopular opinion but JK has issues. He feels a little lost rn. I feel like tae doesn’t challenge him and lets him be his lost chaotic moody self and that’s why he sticks to him. Jimin and jhope have their shit together and probably make him feel bad for being so messy lol

I obviously don't have the last word, and things could change tomorrow and maybe next week all we'll know is jikook hanging out together. Their social habits usually change from time to time. Maybe Jimin was somehow actually working. But that's not what I've seen so far, and if people are allowed to say they hang out privately and whatnot, I think I'm also allowed to say I don't agree. I don't see it. I just really belive people are lying to themselves with all these "Jimin is so busy they can't meet" "Jungkook is lonely because Jimin is busy" "Jungkook has to hang out with Tae because Jimin is busy." If I have to read that one more time istg.

That aside, and moving onto Jungkook only, I'm not really comfortable discussing what he might be going through, if he's even going through anyting at all. I don't think we have all the tools that are needed to know or to even begin assuming what is going on. I don't usually talk about them in matters that are this type of personal. Even with Jimin, for years I had a feeling that he wasn't okay but I didn't say it until he adressed it first. Because it's just too speculative.

A couple of stuff I do agree with and feel comfortable acknowledging:

The thing about looking for support in the wrong place made me think of Taehyung some years ago when he himself said he used to go on weverse so much wanting to feel loved. I'm not saying Jungkook is doing the same thing, because I frankly don't know, nobody knows and nobody will know unless he says so himself; but it has happened before to one of them.

Also could be true the thing about Taehyung being more indulging and not challenging to JK and just letting him be rather than pushing him out of whatever way he could be feeling; IF he's even feeling a certain way at all.

I also think that having too much free time it's really annoying and it becomes exhausting. Life in general has moved so so fast for all of them for several years and now Jungkook is just not moving at the same pace anymore and standing still for too long, even if you need the break, it can certainly be a bit of a let down.
