For some reason I was briefly possessed to draw my really old, barely used Detentionaire OC, Abrielle, but as you can see I ran out of steam part way through.

I would love to revisit these sketches eventually, but I probably won't!

Abrielle was created April of 2012, after I finished watching the first season of the show, and then literally never drawn again. She is a tenth grader and I haven't really figured out what clique she would belong to. You would think she'd be a part of the birdwatchers, because of her love of animals and knowledge of cryptozoology, but she's allergic to most animals with hair, fur, feathers, or any other kind of dander. And she's too quiet to really want to be a treehugger and be involved in their demonstrations.

I created her to be one of the students that Lee suspects of being Radcircles, as the snake on her shoulder (a Lake Eerie watersnake) is named Radian. She has a keen interest in the tatzelwurm, which Lee thinks is suspicious, but he later learns that it's because her parents are cryptozoologists and she's following their footsteps by studying the Taz. At the time, I called him Red and her little green taz was named tazzie, but I want to switch that up. And yeah, giving her a tatzelwurm may be a little cringe, but my excuse was that he's a smaller species and clearly not as powerful/important as the red taz. Plus, he now gives me the opportunity to explore my headcanons about the different coloured tatzelwurms (more on that later).

The funniest shit to me though is that in SEASON ONE I created a character that wears a snake/lizard around her shoulders and referred to her as a ninja, because she is quiet and sneaky, which is beneficial to her parents' cryptozoological field trips, well before The Serpent was ever shown. I fucking called it, I guess?

Anyways, I don't know where this urge came from but it was kind of really nice to just draw a dumb lil oc for a bit!
