I love watching skizz's pov for massive collabs like build and seek or guess the build (and hermitcraft and life series but its rare to get more than 2 povs of a scene so his editing is less noticeably different) because he includes clips and scenes that the others may have neglected or decided to make off cuts but as we all know, off cuts make the best broth and the metaphorical broth of skizz's videos are tasty

my favourite little bit in the most recent build and seek that the others didn't include is when they were all picking their plots and he says "shouldn't dragons [impulse] be next to medieval [skizz]?" and its simultaneously adorable and hilarious because yknow. they're imp and skizz! they don't do just imp or just skizz, its imp and skizz meanwhile grians plotting to separate them like a teacher with the two kids who talk too much in class and scott joins in on the plot and plops candyland in between them cause 'it'd look funny'

also im late to the party but congrats to skizz on going fulltime!!!!

37. GUY.EXE — Superfruit

Okay so this song started as a joke, because I wasn’t originally going to have Skizz be an android; I thought it would be really funny if this Normal Guy was just always surrounded by his robot besties and the Perpetual Odd Guy Out. But, the more I listened to this song, the more I realized how much funnier it would be if the narrative/this song was basically “Doc, Impulse, Tango, Etho, and Mumbo all set out to create the ~perfect android~ together but are ridiculously silly and gay about it, and also the perfect android ends up being Skizz, and also also the design elements suggested by our fellow hermits here are uh. Not indicative of anything at all. Nope!” And the concept was just way too fun not to run with :]

Again with this one, you really won’t get the vibes here unless you know or listen to the song— the second shot is actually a redraw from the music video, so kudos if you got that reference LMAO I was SO hoping someone would request this number, so thank you joi >:D Incredible opportunity for me to draw these guys with ridiculous poses and expressions alongside finally getting to share Skizz’s spectacular origin story <3

I've come to the conclusion Hermitcraft members each have an emotional support person they are certifiabley normal™ about and it's a little funny to me seeing them slowly pair up over the years.

Cause of course there is the classic Grian & Mumbo, or Grian & Scar, or some odd combo of the trio who have shared many silly times together, often causing chaos.

Then we have Etho & Bdubs, who will betray who they are with in a mere *heartbeat* if it would benefit the other.

Then there's whatever the hell Martyn & Rendog got going on, who find each other no matter the universe and are utterly devoted to the other. Even a wild card like Martyn has his heart, and it lies with a clever and charming soul who he once swore a vow to in tall cobblestone walls.

Cleo and Scott, of course, and their widows alliance regardless of server or series. Or Cleo & Bdubs, who never quite left that Crastle of stone fade into their memories and trust each other without question.

Then you have duos like Gem & Pearl or Skizz & Impulse who have been friends for years and have a very comfortable and bantering bond. Despite the teasing and tormenting, there is no question of their loyalty to one another.

Finally Tango & Jimmy who just today proved they will toss it all to the wind if it benefits the other and we have been so fed with content lately [3rd imposter Tango for Jimmy, like okay, betray *all* the hermits cause Jimmy said "please"].

Warms this corvid's heart seeing the friendships bloom over the years of content I've been catching up on and now following. It's sweet 💕
