Okay but genuinely, if anyone has advice for falling asleep better I would really appreciate it because I am not going to be able to get through the semester like this.
(Someone in the notes of my other post suggested breathing exercises, I have noted it and am keeping it in mind.)

I folded laundry fresh outta the dryer tonight!!! I had folded a couple of big shirts for myself, but then got into A Zone because ADHD. If I walked away or sat down, the folding wouldn't happen. Seeing as I just had dinner and won't be able to lay down comfortably*, I opted for just folding laundry.
I FOLDED LAUNDRY!!!
Two big loads, another in the dryer, and one more that needs drying.
My ADHD let me fold laundry. Just...wow. Folks with ADHD will know how amazing this is.
Now it's late, and I get up early**, so time for sleep. I hope I can fold the last loads tomorrow. That would be fucking impressive.

Fuckin love having medical students as friends. Whenever I find something and need to figure what the fuck that does and if it's something to help me sleep, they'll just open their brain glossary and give me an in depth explanations and what I have to look out for.

So idk if this will help anyone else
BUT
I have one (1) medication I have to take twice a day
And my memory is so shit that I'll either forget if I took my afternoon pill, or forget to take my afternoon pill
(The pills are to help with my memory too lol)
So I finally decided to look into pill organizers a while back, and because I had in-person work up until recently, I wanted to find something mobile/less conspicuous than the pill bottle
Well I only managed to buy this after I started working remote, but I got an am/pm daily pill organizer and it's been SO HELPFUL!!
Each day is a different color, they come out of the organizer bin to travel with me if I need, and now I can visually see if I've remembered to take my meds! We'll see if I can remember to refill it once a week, but this has been HUGE for me
I got this at CVS I think they carry them at Walgreens too and I've def seen this exact organizer on Amazon (but I don't shop on amazon)
So if you needed a push to get an organizer for your meds or a different accessibility aid, here it is!

i know that citrus like deactivates antidepressants but to be honest it’s worth it when I bite into an orange. the rush of power I feel from ripping open a fruit with my teeth is an antidepressant all on its own
Edit: good news everyone I’ve just been informed that sweet oranges are not a part of the citrus group that blocks antidepressants. those things are getting destroyed
