SMG4 Revival AU headcanons, part 3

((We have more headcanons for this AU folks, here we go))

**as for this year, X and FM have started dating as well

** Niles and SMG0 are engaged to be married, they got engaged near the end of the Isolation arc

** Axol and Melony are also engaged, they got engaged around the holiday season last year

** currently I have two more couples getting engaged planned for the AU.

** regarding Axol and Melony's engagement, Garcello went with Axol to pick out the ring

** Certain characters know how to play instruments.

** Axol knows how to play the Ocarina and the synth guitar (Gar taught him)

** both Niles and SMG0 can play piano

** as of X and FM dating, Glitchy Red and Steven from Strangled Red have joined the family. King has as well.

** Garcy, Annie, Chris, and King all live together in a pretty big house (Gar's got money from his dad and his career)

** Enzo briefly returned, and isn't too fond of what SMG4 has become (aka modern SMG4)

** given what the three main boys have gone through, Axol, Niles, and Garcy all have PTSD, which SMG3 helps with

** Garcello will occasionally babysit JubJub

** as of the Christmas Special story, Henry Morris, Austin Sanders, and Aika are alive again and back with their friends

** despite being a demon, Kaizo gets along well with Armaros

**Austin also gets along well with Kaizo and Niles.

** Henry becomes close with Steven and Glitchy Red

** Steven gets Miki back, however, unlike the others, Miki is reincarnated as an egg, hatching into a shiny charmander named Miko.

** Axol is an orphan, given Axolotls lay thousands of eggs, this happens. Axol has only met six of his known siblings. Among them, Axol's one of the youngest. He has met two younger brothers, one older brother, and three older sisters (kinda basing this off a drawing Geeky made of Axol with his siblings)

** Niles has siblings too, five older siblings, making him the youngest. Two older brothers (Milo and Cato) and three older sisters (May, Summer, and Clove) his parents are Camille and Niles Sr. (Yes he's named after his father)

** playing with SMG2's head is like playing with a squishmallow

** Two doesn't like it, unless it's SMG1

** When Mario wants to invite people to his big party to celebrate MAR10 Day, Garcello says yes to going, as he was gonna close the music store for the day.

** quick note: Garcello runs a music store, Belle lives in the apartment above the store, making Garcy her landlord.

** Gar however doesn't join Mario and Bowser on their endeavor to change the constitution.

** during the party, Axol and Niles join Bob, Meggy, Tari and SMG3 in trying to get SMG4 to come out of his room. No luck.

** when the big fight occurs between Warriors and Meggy, and them taking out the router, Niles sees an opportunity and hides the router in Garcello's bag. Garcello takes the hint and hides on the roof of the castle

** After SMG4 comes out of his room, he demands to know where the router is, only to realize Garcy's got it and runs outside.

** Garcy hides in the roof of the castle, when he hears SMG4 shout for him, demanding the router back, yelling "why were you even brought back to life?"

** Hurt, Garcy throws the backpack at SMG4's head, knocking him unconscious, before leaving. Axol follows after him.

** SMG4 regains consciousness and the rest of the episode plays out like normal

((Is that last bit going too far? In a sense... yeah, but I feel if that happened, well, let's just say Four's in for some real trouble with both Axol and Garcello. And Annie too))

Horrible Idea:

Maybe Lag was originally Fred and SMG0's Admin, and part of the reason he's kind of a lazy schmuck now and isn't trusted with anything bigger than maintenance is because losing that world and those kids(even losing Niles, even after everything) hurt him, changed him, burnt him out in a way he never properly recovered from.

Presenting the Axoøny and SmgØles THEORY!!!

I have ALL eyes yknow?

If none of the people understand this context-

I put up a screenshot of how similar these things are that they referenced from Smg3 and Smg4's interactions

The first one that I screenshotted is the episode/Movie called REVELATIONS its where Niles took over in Melony's control and his goal is to rebuild their world thinking those SMG's are some bunch of extras/wannabes

But when Niles is so close to that, SMG0 knew that the world would be in danger if he lets Niles continue. So SMG0 tried to keep telling Niles to stop.

From Niles` anger his poses, his actions, the temper were the same that referenced to SMG4 when he did to SMG3 from the Movie ITS GOTTA BE PERFECT.

Smg3 looking at SMG4 in shock.

Niles yelling and telling him that the world of theirs is gotta be better?

Smg4 yelling and telling him to leave him alone to make his perfect video. But the perfect video requires sacrifice.

And what similarities from the sacrifice?

Niles doing all that he could to make the world a better place for him and SMG0 his sacrifice had to be done by lending more power and almost took out the world and himself by doing so.

Smg4 doing all that he could from his power to make a perfect video, a perfect meme to show the world, the internet, on youtube that he's not a failure and he wanted to make everyone happy. The sacrifice? Himself too.

The similarities of "having you here is the best thing thats ever happened to me" ?

Smg0 telling Niles that he's already done enough and even tho in the end didnt end up quite as Niles expected, that almost destroying the whole world had happened, and SMG0 says he's still there with Niles in the end. They're already together. And the two left this corrupted soul and went somewhere to rest. Niles ended up changing and went with SMG0.

Smg3 telling Smg4 that he understood whatever he'd felt and that his friends are always by his side and not giving up on anything at all. Telling him that his friends- I mean- They- will always have lots of fun and laugh together. Even tho the three are almost sucked down from the black-ish mud. Smg4 breaks out of the keyboard's spell and saved them just in time, with also the tears. He didnt know smg3 had felt that way from him. SMG4 ended up refusing to let three of his friends die, even tho he needed to complete the perfect video. Smg3 helped him out of there and the two succeeded.

And for the Melony and Axol theory... "doodle"

After watching near the end of the WOTFI 2023 video

I saw what seems to be SMG3 doodling a precious memory, a moment where he and smg4 did in such a day. This spat out my coffee. I recogniced that similar spot.

Its where Melony drew herself and Axol being together even tho Axol passed on, she'll remember that memory.

So what if... smg3 or smg4... one of them... no no- i think thats too much- just- what if... one of them dies...?

We've had this theory here- since axol is possessed by corrupted smg0 and melony KILLS axol in order to make corrupt 0 to perish.

Then what if Smg3 or either Smg4 gets possessed or manipulated by the new antagonist "TV guy" from the end of wotfi 2023? And one of them actually kills... oh my god- this is too MUCH honestly... I actually doubt this is ever gonna happen- It wont happen heheh... right...?

After the destruction of the Toy-Toy Kingdom, SMG1 and SMG2 tried to flee with the other guardian pods, but hers was taken by Zero while 1 and 2 escaped. They both tried to rescue him but ultimetly failed. Zero then raised/taught her and made her into a villian. After his defeat from the other 4 meme guardians, the power that had controlled her had faded and she was back to her guardian self. One day she kinda js showed up in front of the new castls after seeing Mario. She often swings by and sees SMG4 and the gang. She also helped Mr. Puzzles and Leggy into the meme factory, but they don't know what Puzzles had done to the gang.

Species: ??? Age: 40 Gender: Demiboy (He/They) Height: 4"5

Smg1 is a short creature of unknown species, we are completely unsure of his species... weather it even has a name or not is unknown. He has some limbs that look "untextured", the reason is due to some events that will be put on a separate form. They are relatively blunt and serious but can be very sweet with others where he'll treat the others they interact with like family as long as they have a good connection with them (Such as Smg1, he treats like his son). His tail is known to glow in the dark, he seems to use this to guide others in the dark. He is very friendly with humans, he'll talk to them normally and act like one too, no personality fix needed. Though if attacked he will try to defend himself a bit and then run away, he doesn't seem the type to slaughter. He seems to be a bit of a mentor for all the Smg's. Training or talking things out with them. Helping them control their abilities. It's sweet of them. More documents will be made soon. Signed Researcher Niles.

SMG1 goes nonverbal at times, communicating by body language and writing on signs.

SMG2 carries a knife around on his person.

Meggy is a trans girl. She is only out to Axol at the moment.

Meggy, Spudnick, SMG2 & 1 have formed a "Shorty Squad".

The SMGs get together to play video games.

Niles likes cats.

SMG1 has binge-watched the entire JJBA series.

SMG1 has a biiit of a height complex.

Shroomy was home-schooled.

Mr Puzzles's full name is Mr Winston Puzzles.

Niles is a trans boy, with his deadname being Nulla.

Winston is autistic, which is why he had such a hard time making friends as a kid and why he fell so deeply into escapism.

Laika is significantly more antisocial after being rescued from the Assets Void.

Laika gains a connection with Eggdog, as well as the other Dead Memes.

Laika has a shellfish allergy.

SMG1 is prone to motion-sickness. So is Winston.

SMG0 is a loud drunk.

None of the Mage Trio are allowed to drive.

Takamaki is a trans boy.

Rosie and Takamaki have known each other since they were kids.

Winston had been repressing his emotions for most of the Puzzlevision Arc.

Niles feels incredibly nervous being left in charge of something.

Mr Puzzles gives the gang permission to call him Winston after he's at least semi-redeemed. Niles instead chooses to call him "Winny", half to piss him off, half because he likes nicknaming his friends.

 a familiar sword stabs him through the chest, Niles eyes were wide, he was standing still shaking.. The other SMG‘s looked at the scene in fear, SMG0 was  terrified..Seeing his blood drip down to his legs to the floor, Zero screamed  as tears started to grow in his eye

SMG-1 & SMG-2

Former Avatar: Juliano

The first SMGs ever created, the Prototypes. Created by Admin Byte, it wasn't for the purpose of guarding universes and keeping the meme cycle going, but for the Admin's own gain to mess with universes.

This failed, however, as SMG-1&-2 were kindhearted Guardians to their Avatar, Juliano. However, after an attack on their world, their Avatar died, and they were promoted to Admins. They are now known as Domain and Forum, respectively.

SMG0 & Niles

Statuses: Deactivated

Former Avatar: Fred

In the video game Mage, there was originally only a single SMG for the universe as Admin Byte intentionally didn't tell Admin Lag that two SMGs were needed for balance. However, this wasn't for long, as the God Box created Niles, a false SMG to pair with SMG0.

However, this wasn't to last, as after an attempt to repair his imperfect code, Niles went insane due to the God Box and killed his Avatar, Fred. Following a forced fusion between him and SMG0, creating SMGØ, a being hellbent on finding another Avatar and remaking the fallen universe.

The duo were put to rest by the combined efforts of Avatar Mario, his Guardians, and Fierce Deity Melony.

SMG1 & SMG2

Statuses: Semi-retired/Active

Former Avatar: Spudnick

While they lived in peace with their Avatar for many years, this was eventually broken when SMGØ landed in their universe, intent on shaping Spudnick to be a new Avatar. However, this failed, causing Spudnick's death and the destruction of their universe.

They now reside in the SM64 universe, being mentors to SMG3 and SMG4, and generally doing what they can to help out.

SMG3 & SMG4

Statuses: Active

Avatar: Mario

Their activation has been dubbed the Worst To Ever Happen. Several things went wrong, including the inclusion of SMGØ and SMGs 1&2. There have been many incidents regarding their universe, but they've always come out on top for their Avatar and friends, so they're typically left to handle themselves. They're remarkably close with their Admins, Forum and Domain.

SMG5 (Penta Knight) & SMG6

SMG6 is a wandering comedian, and Penta Knight is an admirable warrior.

There was an accident when Guardians were being assigned, and SMG8 accidentally went to SMG9. To rectify this (it was already too late to switch it back), SMG7 was partnered to SMG10.

SMG1 and SMG2 - I like them! They're a pretty interesting mentors, though I wish they do more with them, hopefully this year they would, but I am not letting hold my breath.

SMG0 - The N from Murder Drones before Murder Drones! I like him! Even if he just appeared once in the movie, it's an interesting to see him in!

Niles - Bad boy antagonist! I like his role, same opinion on SMG0, except this guy had more appearance at least! Idk why, but Niles and Godbox relationship is somewhat close to Ross and the Red Sun from Redstoner kind of vibe to me at least

Spudnick and Fred - Man... if they were alive, imagine how much of a chaos of a team up with Mario lol, but in seriousness, I like them!

Aight so I was thinking back to Wotfi 2023 and the Revelations Arc.

SMG4 and SMG3 tried to do a fusion move (that didn’t work) meaning that all SMGs have the ability to fuse with one another.

However, when Niles and SMG0 fused, they created an eldritch monstrosity with godlike power that immediately tried to destroy the universe via killing Mario.

Did Three and Four actually have a plan for if they fused together or were they just going to beat the shit out of their own Avatar with the same powers that almost killed him and potentially destroy their entire universe?

Juliano (belongs to @forthedancingandthethriving)

Status: Anomaly

Guardians: -1 and -2/Domain and Forum

The main protagonist of Rising Star Circus, and Domain and Forum's Avatar back when they were still the prototype SMGs. Despite the destruction of his original universe, he managed to survive as a few strings of code and reform as a Mario Recolor in the Super Mario 64 universe. He's since reunited with his old friends and restored his original model, though his code is still incredibly fragile, and he's got some nasty scars he'd rather keep hidden.

He currently acts as a mentor to the other Avatars, particularly Mario.

Fred

Status: Deceased

Guardians: 0 and Niles

One of the two playable characters in Mage, the other being a blank slate recolor before the role was filled by SMG0. He unfortunately died when the False SMG Niles went insane after trying to repair his unstable code.

Spudnick

Status: Deceased

Guardians: 1 and 2

The main protagonist of Spudnick's Great Adventure. He was killed by Zer0 when it tried to convert him into a replacement Fred in its "Perfect" new world, leading to the events that would forever change the destiny of the Super Mario 64 universe, and the greater SMG multiverse by extension.

Mario

Status: Active

Guardians: 3 and 4

The main protagonist of Super Mario 64, the Super Mario franchise as a whole, and the SMG4 series. Due to the unusual circumstances of his universe's activation, Mario lacks the instinctual understanding, knowledge and control of his Avatar abilities that the others have, and has only recently started learning those skills the hard way. It doesn't help that his Meme Energy levels are significantly higher than everyone else's, so he's stuck having more power to try and control than they do.

Kirby

Status: Active

Guardians: Penta Knight and 6

The main protagonist of the Kirby series. He's honestly not that different from his canon counterpart, since all that Meme Energy is really just a drop in the bucket compared to the kinds of things he already has going on.

Nimbus (belongs to @forthedancingandthethriving)

The main protagonist of The Cloud's Songbird. She has a complicated relationship with her status as an Avatar, and the weirdness that comes with it, due to the expectations of her station, so she tries to pretend it doesn't exist when she's in her own universe. Unfortunately, due to how Meme Energy works, as well as the friends she's made among the other Avatars and the guilt and rampant insecurity she feels over how she's treating them, this will inevitably blow up in her face both literally and figuratively.

(Note: this has in fact blown up in her face as of the Watered Down Dreams storyline, but with the support of the other Avatars and her local friends she's come out stronger for it)

The main protagonist of Outgunned. She and Nimbus often butt heads due to clashing personalities and conflicting morals.

Sora

Guardians: XIII and XIV(kingdom hearts things LOL)

Main protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series. He's obviously a lot crazier than his canon self, but due to the ever-present shadow of The Disney Sensors he has to keep himself reined in a lot more than the other Avatars. Interestingly, certain quirks of his series' Lore have resulted in his SMGs looking like recolors of Roxas and Xion instead of himself.

Frenzy the Chupacabra

Status: Active

Guardians: 15 and 16

The main protagonist of a Sonic parody of the same name. He was already a bit crazy and violent before the Memes, so when the USBs dropped and cranked everything up to 11 he feared that he'd be a danger to his friends and ran off. This left him in the perfect state for a certain rogue avatar to convince him to join their cause...

Fortunately, the Avatar-centered plotline of the Legacy Arc and the events leading up to it caused him to realize his mistake, and he's now returned to his own universe to undo the damage he inadvertently caused.

Barry the Blook

Status: Imprisoned

Guardians: 17 and 18

Introduced here

The main protagonist of Blook, and the founder of the Union of Scorned Avatars. He does not like being mistaken for Meat Boy.

He's now an inmate in Computer Hell, following the events of the Legacy Arc.

Red

Status: Active

Guardians: 19 and 20

The mascot and most basic bird type of the Angry Birds franchise. He only speaks-or, well, yells-bird, so nobody knows what the heck is going on with him.

As of the Legacy Arc, it's been revealed that Red was stuck in Crazy Stupid Mode the entire time he was with the Union, and now that he's back to (relatively) normal, that whole period is kind of a blur for him. He's now actually capable of speech, and acts more-or-less how you'd expect based on his canon portrayals.

Arle Nadja

Status: Active

Guardians: 21/Kira and 22

The main protagonist of the Madou Monogatari series, the first of the three main protagonists of the Puyo Puyo series, and half of the Puyo Puyo universe's Avatar.

Explanation for that can be found here

As of the Arle Arc, she now has the full Avatar code, and is the sole Avatar of her universe.

Doppelganger Arle Dapple Nadja

Status: Deactivated

Guardians: 21/Kira and 22

The main protagonist of the Madou Monogatari series, the main antagonist of Puyo Puyo~n, and the other half of the Puyo Puyo universe's Avatar. She is identity issues incarnate.

She was part of the Union of Scorned Avatars, but now that they've been dismantled she's acting on her own. Currently living in Nimbus's universe as King Bolero's court jester/unofficial-and-unspoken adopted daughter under the assumed identity of Dapple/The Amazing Pierrot.

Following the events of the Arle Arc, her Avatar status has been fully revoked. She is now permanently and openly living in Magnamiel as Dapple, and is taking steps to heal from her trauma.

Laharl

Status: Active

Guardians: 23 and 24

The main protagonist of Disgaea 1 and Disgaea D2, and a major reoccurring character in the rest of the series. While he's technically part of the good Avatars due to helping them at the end of the Hell Arc, his need to maintain his image as the ruthless "evil" and powerful Overlord of the Netherworld, as well as his rather abrasive and arrogant personality even when he isn't playing that up, means he doesn't get along very well with most of the other Avatars. Plus he's in charge of an entire plane of existence, so he's usually too busy to come to the meetups with any sort of regularity.

Both fortunately and unfortunately for him, the other Avatars can see right through his many-layered facades, trauma-responses and demonic cultural differences to see the genuinely good person underneath, just like his closest friends back home, so even if they don't usually get along with him that well they still care about him and know he'll come through for them if they need it.

The villain protagonist of Hellking. After the success of Laharl's activation, as well as seeing how several canonical villains in different SMG universes have mellowed out, the Admins thought that the Meme Energy would do the same for Ramagog.

They were wrong.

They were so very wrong.

Thankfully, he's now an inmate in Computer Hell.

Shantae

Status: Active

The main protagonist of the series of the same name. Considering what Sequin Land is already like, adding Meme Energy didn't really change too much apart from all the crossover stuff.

Ash Ketchum

Status: Active

The main protagonist of the Pokemon Anime pre-Horizons, which marks the first time something other than a video game was turned into an SMG universe. His activation was a little rocky due to Barry's interference, but things worked out thanks to the help of Mario, SMG4 and SMG3.

Captain Olimar

Guardians: 31 and 32

The main protagonist of the Pikmin series. As far as he's concerned, the arrival of Memes is just one more item on the list of absurd and somewhat frustrating things that he's had to deal with since joining Hocotate Freight. Though, much like his discovery of the Pikmin, not necessarily a bad one.

Elanore Haltmann

Guardians: HMG1 "Vee" Haltmann and HMG2 "Hex" Haltmann

A False Avatar created by Susie Haltmann using a fragment of the God Box. She was originally created to replace Mario, even technically being a clone of him, but turned out to be good and is now his Co-Avatar.

She's weaker (at least in terms of Meme Energy) than a normal avatar due to her Avatar Code being made by a God Box Fragment instead of an Admin, but to make up for it she's immune to Anti-Meme corruption.

Sally 13 and Cole

The protagonists of Sally's Outstanding Adventure! and Diamind 6: Stars Go Out respectively. Their universes were fused and the Avatar Code split between the two of them as a result of Garyboy messing with their files before the SMG Mod was launched. They're slightly unstable, but thankfully no more-so than the Arles. 33 ended up as a recolor of Sally, while 34 is based on Cole.

SMG4:

I personally head canon him as a non-binary Bi aroace (hes basically under the spectrum). He has hetrochromia, one eye is hazel and the other baby blue. The tail I draw him with acts like a second pair of eyes, it helps him to know who’s entered his room without distracting himself from his work.

the missing texture is something I decide to add by him being hurt by falling rubble or any extra explodsions (I have a whole au that goes deeper into the concept)

he used to have a pet hamster before he got BEEG4

SMG3:

I headcanon 3 also as non-binary but he’s a panromantic asexual (I basically headcanon all the guardians as genderless)

he lost his limbs due to missing texture, and the missing texture on his face represents whet the mass was on his face when he mutated in IGBP

eggdog is his support animal, my version of smg3 still lives in the internet graveyard, keeping control of the meme life cycle

He adopted Melony as his daughter (father3 and daughter Melony is so real to me)

SMG2:

I see them as Agender and Aroace. They’re part hamster, they hide their ears under their cap

the eye effected by their missing texture kind of acts like a googly eye. They are of course the shortest smg (Literally canon)

when they lost Spudnick, they feared to call someone their best friend thinking if they did, they’d lose them too. That’s why they never call smg1 their best friend

they’re fluffy like a teddy bear, they’re literally a fluff ball, their head is very bouncy too (literally canon but only occurred once)

SMG1:

I see him as a Trans, non-binary aroace. hes a Book worm, he also slightly enjoys reading to kids. He had the same thing with his eye as smg2 but it was because it got damaged but the ship exploded in revelations

he wears glasses as he has poor eyesight, without glasses the chances of him walking into things is higher

he likes to dress formally and wear a bowtie (my design for him totally wasn’t inspired by Simon petrikov! Totally-)

the missing textures on his right limbs can be sensitive but often give off a tingling feeling when he walks or touches something

SMG0:

I see him as a Agender, bi Demi-aroace. He enjoys gardening, he can almost name every kind of flower, he also info dumps about flowers to Fred.

he’s married to Fred (live laugh love Fred0) him and Fred have matching pins, smg0 wears a clover pin to resemble Fred and Fred wears a blue flower to resemble smg0

he likes to make flower crowns to help with his bottled up stress and anger, he still hasn’t fully forgiven Niles after everything he did but he had still partly forgiven him as he knows not everything was entirely Niles fault (it was likely that he was influenced by the god box)

Niles(including him cause why not):

I see him as an Agender Omni Grey-aroace. He likes wearing eyeliner. He has two different forms, the one where he’s affected by the god box makes him look like a different person but it’s still the same Niles

He sometimes times detaches SMG1’s head and drop kicks it, he does the same to smg2 and has to fight the urge to do it to Melony, he feels bad if he does and he doesn’t like feeling that sometimes

his horns were too long to the point they tore through his beanie and he’s just repaired it so they fit through. he can’t cook, don’t let him cook, he almost burnt the house down once

Smg♾ pronouns: she/they. Wives: Meggy (post revelations), Tari and Saiko (post puzzlevision) species: a meme guardian android.

Friends: Smg4, Mario, luigi, Bob, Fishy boopkins, Smg3, The anti-cast, Melony, Smg1, Smg2, and Clench.

Enemies: Waluigi(formally), Bob(formally), Francis(Dead), Smg3(formally), Niles(Dead), Lawyer/Funky kong (no longer a problem), and mr puzzles.

Powers: God-like strength, speed, and durability. Flight, transmutation, teleportation, reality warping, super hearing, can turn her limbs into any weapon they want, and can absorb and redirect meme energy.

👍Likes: Meggy, Tari, and Saiko🧡💖💙, her friends, pizza and candy, and some anime.

👎Dislikes: any form of evil, and some anime.

Weaknesses: she is programmed not to harm anyone who is good, the eldritch goo from "it's gotta be perfect" and "let's go visit peach" drains her battery, they cannot alter "cannon events" (ex: peaches castle being destroyed)

After the destruction of the Toy-Toy Kingdom, SMG1 and SMG2 tried to flee with the other guardian pods, but hers was taken by Zero while 1 and 2 escaped. They both tried to rescue him but ultimetly failed. Zero then raised/taught her and made her into a villian. After his defeat from the other 4 meme guardians, the power that had controlled her had faded and she was back to her guardian self. One day she kinda js showed up in front of the new castls after seeing Mario. She often swings by and sees SMG4 and the gang. She also helped Mr. Puzzles and Leggy into the meme factory, but they don't know what Puzzles had done to the gang.
