They may be called Snailmate, but don't you dare call them slow! Sure, they have a song called "The Laziest Man in the World" on their new album Stress Sandwich, but the duo of Kalen Lander and Bentley Monet are anything but! Lander spits rhymes like MC Frontalot or Busdriver, whilst Monet brings pure punk and hip hop beats behind the drum kit. One sec, they're being playful on "Trash, Baby" and "Shoulda Brought Snacks"; the next moment, loud GWAR-y growls fill "Overwaiter" and "I Know What You Want". Snailmate make a strange dance party, but their groove is in their stomach, which is why we're craving for a slice of their Shameless Tuesdays platter!

Today’s creature is so rare and understudied that it doesn’t even have a Wikipedia article:

Meet Dinarica pouzolzii the rarest terrestrial snail in Europe. It’s native only to western Balkans and only in regions where soil is very rich in calcium. It likes to hang out near caves. And that’s all we know about it.

But we found this one a friend!

And the second we put them on the ground…

They began kissing!

This is how snails start their mating ritual. We accidentally found snailmates (snail soulmates) of the rarest snail species in the region. Imagine the joy!

I'm writing a DND campaign right now and I'm currently fleshing out the setting and places, etc... While in a sleep-deprived state last night, I named the capital of one of the states Town. The town of Town, South Utopa is awesome and forever the name.
