Runa prided herself for not being compelled to slaughter. She believed in the effects of rehabilitation and enjoyed rousing prisoners from their tombs far more than their sentencing. Introducing them to a timeline new and unfamiliar, preparing them for their journey to the capitol where they would find work and start over, cleared of their crimes and debts. In this way, she felt almost like a healer. She was what compelled mercy in these halls, turning away needless death.

I haven’t been doing well physically today so I’ve just been drawing and journaling and decided to start a digital anime journal! I do love making spreads physically but when I can’t print things out, I think having this will be a great alternative!

My first spread is about A Sign of Affection which I just finished watching the episodes out with my mom last night! She even wants to read the manga now too which makes me happy haha. I’m currently on volume 4 of the manga and I’m in love with it! The story, the art style, the characters, everything!

i haven’t talked much about her; but i’ve spent a lot of time developing her history, personality, morals, and intricacies. once namesake is finished, i hope to turn to the fantasy novel that she stars in, tentatively titled ‘kalsar’.

runa, my rose-haired frost mage, descendant of a long line of paladins who put loyalty and good above all else. when a criminal under her keep escapes into the snowspring, runa gives chase and accidentally awakens an ancient, resting bear-deity, who entwines the pair with magical thread.

daughter to a family of righteousness; mother to a small, pink-eyed dragon familiar; and helplessly in love with a war criminal she’s forced to fight in the heart of a labyrinth, while searching for a means to sever her bond to kalsar.
