*slams into the room with all the grace of a baby and knocks shit off the tables, sending the red string board flying*
forget that relationship tension for a second (dw, i'm Thinking About It). SAM. PUT THE FORMS DOWN. and for the love of everything holy and good, DO NOT GO TO THE MAGNUS INSTITUTE RUINS. you wanna be the next redcanary??? that's where you're fucking headed, buddy. i know the saying is "curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back," but in this case, there ain't nothin' to be satisfied about when it comes to exploring some ol' spooky ruins that are gonna grab you by the feet and drag you further in until you don't know if you're you anymore, or some unwilling servant to a gluttonous, knowledge-seeking eldritch horror. or, you know, you end up dead. there's that.
sam. my man. put the forms down, stay the FUCK away from the magnus institute, and figure your shit out with celia and alice because i swear to the unholy eldritch horrors that if you hurt alice in your ill-advised crusade to unravel your past and the secrets of the magnus institute, something worse than a tunnel goblin gouging your eyes out is coming your way.

Ok here's a good omens/Loki paralel from me, not the way you might expect though.
So Crowley calls heaven and hell 'toxic' and wants to leave the opressive system alltogether, while Aziraphale believes he can change it from within.
And (ok almost) everyone in fandom gets both side's reasoning and is very reflected and empathetic about it.
Now Sylvie calls the tva, which is an opressive, fascist institution, that flat out murders people, 'rotten' and wants to see it burned to the ground, while Loki believes he can use it as a valuable asset to beat Kang.
And still this scenario gets a completely different reaction.
Weird how that works.

"I thought I saw Erika dancing with Father!" June smiled delightedly as she and Callahan returned from the dance floor themselves, June leaning down to kiss her granddaughter's blonde locks, saying softly, "I hope you had fun out there."
"Perhaps I'll get a chance to dance with you, June?" August asked with a small smile, at which his daughter squeezed his shoulder, saying, "Maybe this evening-it looks like the band is taking a bit of a break for now, and the other dancers are relaxing a little. But tonight after dinner, I'd love to dance with you again."
"Maybe I could steal a dance from my grandson too?" Josephine asked with a little smile, turning to look at Randall, whom smiled back rather shyly, saying, "I-I'd be honored...Grandmother."
Gosh, it was so strange to say-to think, he was sitting beside his mother's mother, his grandmother! A woman he felt like he knew, on account of the portraits he'd seen, the recipes he cooked and baked from notes written in her hand, the afghans and blankets made by her that he'd held and admired...it was surreal, in a way, to finally be acquainted with someone he'd never met, yet felt as if he'd known all his life.

my coworker randomly came up to my desk and talked about something which reminded him of his age (he's like..50), and then he went into dad-mode and said "you truly need to enjoy every second of this life. it's way too short."
i just gave him a smile and said that he was right, but damn, whenever i hear such "advice", something inside of me breaks. what if i don't enjoy life? what if i haven't enjoyed life for so long now? i am completely and painfully aware of how many things i've been missing out on, and i doubt that it's going to improve in the future. going to therapy has only been uncovering all the reasons why i've been feeling and acting the way that i do, but it's not helping in solving anything, because most of these things cannot be solved. i am stuck in this shit, and if i ever reach my coworker's age, i'm probably going to have a gazillion regrets.

The worst thing about my brain being an autopilot grammar nazi is that every single time I see people misuse “it’s” and “its” as well as apostrophe placements is that I don’t want to be rude and correct people... but my brain still is like UGH THIS IS THE WORST.
“It’s” and “Its” are more just my brain going weeo weeo on me when that’s a more understandable one bc “its” is literally the exception to a rule (because “it’s” actually means “it is”, so to avoid it being used for two meanings the apostrophe is removed for ownership cases), but when I see apostrophes before an S for plural wording and I know they speak English properly I’m just like. ugh. damn. bruh. please. go back to school.
Less severe cases of incorrect apostrophe use tends to be like, when people are playing Heroes and have duplicates of units and are like “my Ike’s” instead of “my Ikes”, because I think people are trying to... make it more clear that it’s referring to more than one? I think? Maybe? Or they literally just don’t realize it’s incorrect grammar, idk lol. Still can’t get past my weeo weeo autopilot brain though sadly.
LIKE. IT’S NOT ANYONE’S FAULT THAT MY BRAIN IS WEEO WEEO, IT JUST IS.
Which speaking of Heroes, FE in general seems to have its script in every single game ever coded to always use apostrophes for ownership cases even when the word ends in S, so don’t worry folks. IntSys isn’t getting off scot free from my brain either LOL. No amount of “princess’s” is ever gonna fly with my weeo weeo brain.
this has been a psa
mainly a psa of my brain weeo weeos

Not even the most rudest and annoying child deserves to get bullied. If kids think it's okay to bully and traumatize another kid during their most formative and vulnerable years, they have bigger issues than some child who's worst crime is being annoying and kind of a jerk.
YEAAHH literally though. Also, and I legitimately do not mean this in a negative way, but high school kids do dumb shit and can be annoying and may lack self-awareness. You know why? Because they're kids!!
Speaking more broadly, outside of just Milgram/Muu, I've seen a worrying trend of people my age or older saying things like "man no wonder I got bullied, I was sooo annoying" or "maybe my bullies were right man idk". The narrative that the only "real" victims of bullying are the ones who never did a single thing wrong and was all but a literal saint is a very harmful narrative that I wish people would stop pushing. The quiet kid in the back of the classroom who did nothing but read, and the loud "annoying" kid with non-mainstream interests are both deserving of the same levels of courtesy and compassion. Full stop. No exceptions whatsoever.
Switching to that mindset has personally helped teach me how to stand up for myself even now as an adult. If I make a mistake, I can own up to it, but also not let someone (metaphorically) beat me up over it. It's not mutually exclusive.
But I'm rambling... Sorry, I'll get back on track.
Anyway, just because Muu is showing more of the "spoiled" aspect of her personality, it doesn't make her any less of a victim. She's not a perfect person, but that doesn't mean she deserved what happened to her.
And look, I'm just going to say it. Even if it turns out Muu was a bully, you know what? She still apologized. Many times:
She's okay being villified, but she just wants to be left alone.
Her victims don't have to forgive her and in fact I fully do not expect any victim of bullying to forgive their bullies, but if Muu is genuinely contrite, then people need to just back off her.
That being said, I don't think Muu was a bully. It seems incongruent with the information we have so far, but I guess only time will tell...
