the young justice rescued kon from cadmus and he's adjusting to life outside of the lab. things are going well enough until black canary is doing a check in meeting with him before he can start school and kon mentions that there was someone else that was supposed to be on there with him.
Another test subject: project phantom.
But the cadmus lab was destroyed during kon's rescue and no one had survived and the jla had done a search of the whole lab and there hadn't been anyone else there. canary tell's kon he probably didn't make it given the state of the lab, but reports this finding to jla just in case.

Went to my friends bday yesterday and spent 5 hours feeling like a prey animal I have to stay indoors and recover now
#Omg I literally felt like I was 15 again#Girl who thinks she has defeated social anxiety has to hang out and talk to other young people outside of her core friend group#No survivors#I literally had a pit in my stomach on the way home and woke up in the middle of the night feeling nauseous... I forgot#How anxiety physically manifested itself when I was a teenager#I was also lowkey soo pissed off bc I got the day wrong so I thought I was gonna have yesterday to myself#And I cancelled my singing lesson and all my solo plans for this. And it was HORRIBLE!!!!!!#No hate to my friend happiest birthday to him ever but ohhhh my god I hate going to bars#And socialising with people I don't know...... There is so much rockstar Eddi#smut out there that it could sustain a brand new reader for an entire year before they needed a new fic#Idk man. I'm just feeling so defeated. I write for fun now. But there was a point in time where I desperately tried to build a platform by#offering requests and writing a lot of things I would not otherwise write to try and gain traction on my page and every time I see another#food fucking fic get hundreds of notes I get so sad that I wrote that stupid Melon fic because I had people in my life that told me#they would be excited to read it and for what? One of them still talks to me. The others moved on so fast. Most didn't even reblog it.#Some of them have since written their own food fucking fics that got triple the notes of my OG. Again.
