Many thoughts about how the doctor still feels guilt for Adric after all this time. Like the doctor was right, they never stopped, they just dived headlong into the next adventure to try and forget about it.

It's also kinda funny considering they're not nearly as hung up on Katarina and Sara

#kingdom hearts 3 #kh3 #arendelle #scenery #my gif #it's nighttime when you first arrive in this world and you get to see the auroras shimmering in the sky #it's very beautiful but once you reach a certain point in the game it becomes daytime and you're not able to view this world at night again #that's pretty unique and i can't think of any other worlds that are like that #except maybe the kingdom of corona when you see the lanterns fly at night but that's just for a short segment #at least san fransokyo gives you a choice to view the city during night or day #anyways i'm glad i had an older save file that i was able to return back to so i could get shots of this world at night #i would have included elsa's castle but every angle i tried looked really awkward and bad lol #i don't use mods when collecting footage so some things are out of my hands when trying to get a nice shot #how sad is it that the interior of her castle is fully modeled (you can see right through the front doors) but you can't go inside #all of the characters stand in a line outside the castle and i wonder why they couldn't just hang out indoors #let me in. let me innnnnn

first off !! the twilight wants him back by @chatlote

it's a canon divergent fix-it fic that takes place from november onwards featuring sees ryoji :> I think my favourite thing abt this fic is the way lina characterises both ryoji and makoto, like I genuinely adore how she writes them in this fic. both of their inner worlds feel so rich and detailed and i adore how the pov switches give us a look into makoto and ryoji's different outlooks !! seeing makoto and ryoji's different perspectives on the same events is so interesting and it adds so much depth of their interactions. it's been such a joy so far to watch those two slowly get to know each other while also exploring how makoto's dealing with everything he's experienced up until then (the way she shows how makoto's been dealing with loss is so. augh <3) and I'm so excited to see where this fic is headed ^_^ every update has me kicking my feet in excitement hehe

and then there's persephone's curse by @sweet-sirin

this fic took me on such an emotional rollercoaster that it hasn't stopped rolling around in my brain since I read it. it takes place post canon and if u know abt persephone than u can probably take a guess as to where this fic is going. I don't wanna say too much bcs I think this fic is best experienced knowing as little abt it as possible but its just a beautiful exploration of ryoji and makoto's characters and just how stubborn they can be in their own ways, especially ryoji. there's so many scenes in this fic that are just stuck in my brain. it felt like every single scene and every piece of dialogue has some sort of underlying/second meaning and it was a ride unpacking everything as I was reading. everything feels so purposeful and meaningful its just so. augh. it emotionally destroyed me and I don't think I'll ever recover <3 it'll live in a special corner of my brain forever

Also !! I haven't really gone down the ryomina fic rabbit hole myself yet so if you or anyone reading has some fic recs of their own please send them my way !! 🙏🙏

update: peach is doing very well!! she's eating and sleeping normally (sleeping more than normal, really, but that's to be expected)!! after 3 days of not sleeping and a few changes in painkillers, she finally just napped for an hr then, after another day, slept through the whole night (and most of the next day). she's started following all her usual routines again and is very keen to eat! still on some painkillers, but they're not having any horrific side effects anymore

now that im not staying up to keep an eye on her all night (while also dealing with upgrading my computer and my phone and also my sister preparing to go overseas and the dogs barking and howling constantly due to all of the above), i finally got some decent sleep too and slept for about 14 hrs. so today ive got that weird shakiness that i get from sleeping too much, but hey it's better than the whole of the last week

#personal #and i have a working computer that's finally on windows 10 so that's one less thing to have background stress about #and i have a working phone for the first time in.. a year? 1.5 years? idfk. my previous phone was 16gb so i could fit like 2 apps #could barely take pictures (and couldnt store them) and couldnt update most of my apps because i couldnt update my os because no space #so every app ran slow and then eventually my phone would crash if i opened the storage section of the settings #so i couldnt even offload apps so i could delete them while keeping the data for when i downloaded them again #couldnt order medicine remotely because my chemist only lets you do that from the app (not the website)#couldnt control the aircon because that could only be done through an app #missed loads of stuff because i didnt have email notifications because i could only use my browser for emails #couldnt see tumblr polls on mobile because i couldnt update tumblr because i couldnt update my os #left the house less because i had to delete pokemon go and that genuinely helped me go for walks #ive been dealing with all that for a year so this is very exciting and such a ridiculous qol boost #it sucks how much something like that affects your life. what do you mean i need an app for everythingggg #but god im just glad peach is ok. like there was a moment when i was so stressed trying to update my computer because it wasnt working #and then she ate a small bit of food for the first time in 3 days and just. everything was suddenly fine again #and the other night i spent like 6 hrs just sitting here downloading and installing things on my computer #but it was fine because peach was on the chair next to me sleeping through the whole night and it was such a relief #my sister finally got her flight yesterday (after it was moved four days in a row) so that's just one less thing happening #ive started playing bg3 so that's cool and maybe ill get a chance to actually properly watch that new dav trailer lmao #that premiered at 2am on the first night peach was home from surgery and hadnt eaten or slept yet and i was too stressed to care about dav #and it really just went downhill for the next few days #god. ok. today is the first day i can actually breeaaaathe

#so i dropped out of school at like 13/14 to be home fulltime to take care of my grandparents yeah yeah whtever #whats insane is remembering that when i was 15 my mom tried to arrange a marriage for me with some guy who was in his early 20s #he was the deacons EXTREMELY autistic son and we had spoken like. 3 times. it had been fine like he was pretty cool #but like. she talked me into tentatively agreeing with her. she went to talk to the deacon and everything about it #fucking hello? hello? taps the mic isaiah southern baptist child bride real?#that always pulls the same thread in my brain of how my grandparents died only a month or so apart #so the pastor had just finished doing my grandmas memorial service when we asked him to do the funeral service to bury them both together #and the first thing out of his fucking mouth was 'hah wow didnt expect to see all of you again so soon!'#and that pavilion was SILENT. besides like someone sniffling #awkward fuckhead piece of shit that guy sucked #yk he once threw away what he had written all his notes to preach on bc a gay couple had just moved to the area and wanted to try our churc #so he spent the whole time ranting about how gay people go to hell instead and they left in the middle of it crying #hell on earth.#my mom convinced him to start a school thru the church and i dont think ANY of their teachers went to college besides literally 1 #bc she had just retired from the local middle school and had the free time to participate #but then i guess it all just comes back around #my brother graduated from there and became a ta when he was 18 and started dating a 14/15yo so #genuinely so glad i got the fuck outta there #what a nightmare that town was. christ

"fnaf is the scariest game ever" "no its silent hill" "well i think its resident evil" everyone shut up!!!!!! youre all wrong. its actually zack & wiki quest for barbaros' treasure (on the nintendo wii) but only the level "keeper of the ice". that level scared me so bad as a kid and you can tell because its the only individual level i remember the name of off the top of my head. like there is nothing scarier than a) being chased and b) being on a time limit. and you know what this level has? BOTH OF THOSE. this level is still scary to me im like AHHHHH!!!! and then i die
