so like. we're in this discord server and its p sick lol theres not many issues with it tbh but there is smth thats been botherin me and ive gotta get it out somewhere so that i dont feel like an asshole for sayin it in the server itself its very 'kin focused, a lot of ppl in the server are otherkin. so we have a channel for ppl to talk about 'kin stuff. only issue is that its open to anyone who joins the server. which wouldnt be an issue if we didnt have the occasional person join whos a 'normie' and then they automatically have access to the kin channel. we're also all very anti-kff and are very open abt how those ppl arent welcome in our space and are fine with explainin the dif if needed this is context needed for what imma talk abt lol so theres this guy in the server, we'll call him G, and he's just some dude who is in the server and exists in our space. which is totes fine. but. G has a bad bad habit of thinking that being kin = relating to a character/having a comfort character. and we (several members of the server + the owner) have explained that he is wrong several times. he asks what 'kinning' is and we explain. we explain at least once a week atp but for some reason, it just isnt clickin for the guy. that or he is blatantly ignorin us anytime we explain it. but the thing is. he blames not understandin on his autism/adhd. which is genuinely the most bullshit thing ive ever heard bc like. most of us HAVE autism/adhd and we're like... come on dude.... i understand not gettin social norms and shit but at this point, its gettin absurd. it doesnt help that he also blatantly ignores ppl's boundaries and continues to post things that make ppl uncomfortable and then once again, blaming his neurodivergence for his actions. which again. most bullshit thing ive ever heard. i genuinely dont know why this fucker is still in the server atp. he doesnt respect any of us. he's even gone as far as to try and use tupperbox (which we have for system + kin use) for his 'fandoms' as he says. and then ignoring when i told him that he's NOT ALLOWED to do this. genuinely i cannot fucking stand this guy and i want him out of the server because fuck him. if you cant respect our space or us you can get the fuck out. stop acting like you're kin when you say you dont even know what being kin means. stop ignoring us when we try to explain it to you. stop acting like you're absolved from any repercussions just bc you're autistic and downt undewstand uwu fuckin. shut the hell up dude i hate your bitchass. petition for the server owner to ban his ass the next time he says some stupid bullshit

alright so I dont have a solid idea so im just sorta saying whatever comes to mind 

- I think it would be cool to, in one ending, and the whole "You juts,, watched? We were going through hell and all you did was watch?" because thaat. is a vibe. My thought is that would go the way if you went down the path that followed the MCs best friend 

- Five total endings 

 - I want there to be smth where its like. ":Pspspsps mc I think we're being controlled" "What" and the response you give to that person telling you that can determine which type of the five endings you get (theres three types) 

 Bad endings (two): 

- at least one character + mc finds out they're in a game. They go "wwwhat the fuck thats BAD" and find a way to Get Out. - Ending one follows you + two characters who find out abt the game. uhh probably uncover more abt it. No one else really believes you and you three decide its a code corruption spreading that only you three havent gotten. End up having to destroy the corruption. First is by trying to isolate certain people which means, you guessed it, kidnapping. So you also gotta evade the police ig? eventually turns to murder but mc is like. Very against that. Its revealed at that the game was not fully finished, that the code had come alive and started finishing itself (This is hinted at with some mishapen/odd/incomplete scenery/characters once this or the first good ending starts) anyway because the code has gained free will there is no true ending to the game but it gets to be worse and worse conditions until you and the three ppl are the only ones remaining, n your memory is erased as the game dev destroys the file

-Ending two follows u + ur friend, uhhh havent fully decided on this. I think they'll confide in you that someone, if not everyone, is being controlled in the gopes that you were one of the people being less controlled. Obviously this is untrue. You are essentially given the choice of if you want to make it easier or harder for your friend to find out whats happening. This will determine a good or bad ending. If you made it easier it leads to the bad ending n you friend goes off the sewer slide 

 Good endings: 

- You find out much sooner that ur in a game. 

- Ending one would follow u and ur friend, who eventually like. Becomes a virus and destroys the game? in the moment between when the game is gone and a new save file is loaded the characters can "see" you, the puppet master. There are a few seconds of hundreds of people questioning you before it goes back to the start screen. 

- Ending two- see above 

 ??? Ending: 

- You act alone. Find out its a game. Find a corrupted file. You become part of the file nd become a side character, eventually watching the mc do one of the endings above. Sorta an easter egg ig? Im not explaining this one well

tbh i dont rly identify as trans, just nb, bc ive always felt nonbinary; used to b rly grossed out by being called anything masculine, felt uncomfortable to take my shirt off from the age of like 6, in public spaces. called myself an individualso like im definitely not cis but i’ve always been nonbinary, so i dont feel the need to categorize myself into like “someone who isn’t as they used to be” if that makes sense.

im prolly not the best when it comes to giving advice but im glad ur asking someone whos actually nb and muslim lol sorry if my reply is all over the place... 

first off u should treat their religion and gender as just another aspect of themself rather than like... a defining aspect?? like its not ur place to go deep into islamophobia or transphobia just because, like make em have a bunch of different qualities and traits as u would with any other character.  being muslim or nonbinary  isnt always super obvious, like really any person u see can be either and u wouldnt know so dont try to constantly point it out

things to avoid? the obvious stereotypes first and foremost like dont make any terrorism/isis/b0mb jokes like theyre not funny and you shouldnt mention these things at all. dont make it as if the character is "deceiving" you with their gender or give some sort of "sex reveal" or whatever. those r always gross. u should probably look up the stereotypes of both, bc obvious i cant cover them all. google is free and so is tumblr (writingwithcolor and lgbtqwritingprompts are just a few blogs i know)

muslims arent always some overly religious, in your face, holier than you types which is something i see i lot when people writint any non christian characters? its weird and annoying ALSO you dont have to make ur character follow stuff to a T like... ik dressing modestly and wearing a hijab is important, but u looot of muslims dont follow that stuff completely and its cool. i wear tight shit in public when i feel like it, and show skin to my friends bc im just like that.... i know a lot of muslims who dont wear hijabs! its up to u for what they wear but i just wanted to point that out

and nonbinary obviously doesnt always mean androgynous. u can make them as feminine or as masculine or anything else,  bc nb ppl express themselves in a lot of ways. makeup, clothes, whatever. i wear a hijab despite the fact that ppl think its for women. u can pretty much go wild as long u dont delve into any transphobic shit that make us look more like caricatures (like putting emphasis on their body). and despite how they look, you can use whatever pronouns you want, even if they/them makes it more obvious that theyre nonbinary to some. and theres no problem with the character coming out in the story, as long as its respectful!

small things like mentioning ramadan/fasting, the character going "oh i gotta pray bruh brb", even them just declining a slice of pepperoni pizza or some beer at a party are cool i like it when muslims characters r like that. a dumb but real interaction is them eating smth with gelatin and some1 pointing it out to them and they could react in a like a ton of different ways (digusted, or just dont care) but when its me im like "WHO said it was PIG gelatin....it could be cow.......or fish..........u dont know -_-" and i keep eating it and my friends laugh. its the little things that are fun to me

academic rant ~

nothing happened i just wanna write out my bad thoughts so :P

so first things first i LOVE being back into uni business and classes! srsly i am so happy that i finally have smth to do again which is not as draining, frustrating and based on myself as the thesis :D  I feel super overwhelmed with all the tasks, preparations and homework I have to do - like I’m back in my first ever semester hahaha 

which also means i feel lost af with HOW to organize myself. I’m someone who has had several systems for that but idk which one to choose for now since it’s a whole new situation for me to have an online semester and don’t go out at all...

also as I’m learning japanese rn .. i really have fun and it’s really really cool but also super overwhelming when I think about how difficult it will get and how bad i am with grammar (the only grammar I ever truly understood was Latin ffs). There are so many talented people and sites to help on the internet and i feel gratutude and awe towards them but also the pressure to learn as much and as fast as I can. why? I dont’ even know. i guess it’s bc everyone says japanese is a pretty difficult language and it takes a lot of effort. that makes me sad for an unknown reason.

another thing i wanna get out of my head with learning a language is jealousy. 

i thought i was FINALLY over it in an academic sense but turns out i wanna quit the whole thing all together once i see some of my friends post/talk about their study sessions. it makes me wanna cry and curl up into a ball of “pls don’t talk to me, I know I have a big mouth but i actually can only do basic stuff and play it off as skill” - and i hate myself so so much for it. WHY is this happening again??? why am i getting so stressed instead of motivated and encouraged T.T i don’t even know if i should reach out to some of these ppl and try to talk to them and ask for advice or just unfollow/mute them .. just bc i wanna be like them so badly. it’s so sad :( i am disgusted by myself. i loved learning languages and studying and posting and doing it together with ppl.. am i still hung up on that fateful day when my spirit for french left me? i really hoped not >< do i just cry out my tears and fears but how do i move on with so many useless thoughts in my head? how can i turn off that damned jealousy?? I finally found the spirit to study again in uni but it was only half-asset let’s be real. only in my last semester i really put effort into my studies and voila my grades were SO much better - what a joke to myself i thought. but with being better comes the spirit to be the best and thus my competitive school self who got good grades just to prove it (to whom idk at this point).

so how do i get out of this mess? take off my makeup and cry? maybe ... but let’s be real all i gotta do is focus and do my stuff. be inspired and not discouraged. 

my insta explore page is all kpop at this point and i somehow don’t want that and try to keep the kpop on twt and here... but what else do i want on my explore page tbh? i don’t like podcasts, i suck at cooking, i suck at fitness. studygram? oh fuck i’d love to same goes for fashion. but it’s so overwhelming bc u get all these ppl that are 200 times better/smarter/everything more than you. 

y’know the drill of studygram is to pressure yourself into doing things and doing them how u like it - it’s a small path >< esp with studying.. finding teh perfect system takes way too long and i mostly figure that uot by the end of teh semester... so it’s so useless to stress myself over that now. i KNOW that :( also fun fact: i hate it when ppl tell me how to write down my notes and what categories to use but on the other hand I’m LOST without someone telling me what to do XD

also im sad that if he is pb, we dont get the Worldbuilding™ of lemongrab having locked up his entire kingdom from everyone, not just people who are close to and familiar w the laws. loved that minor characters knew shit was going down in his earldom. but i also have a soft spot for characters knowing my favorite characters’ names, so idk.

i guess also i gotta like. do this: assuming they are two different ppl, imagine the part where lh thinks he sees his family falling out of the greed lard and screams at phlan the stop and go back for them, bc like, phlan listens to him and reassures him that nothing bad has happened. because tbh… idk if i can imagine pb doing it so thoroughly. she might tell him 'no lh look it’s not them it’s just treasure’ but i cant see her turning the ship around, parking it, getting out and walking lh over to gently reassure him that everything’s alright and show him it’s okay. Maybe. could be, if she’s actively trying to not treat him the same way that clearly wasn’t working when he was in the candy kingdom. same when phlan has like coal or. smth i cant remember, and hes going on and on abt how excited he is to use them to make a love potion and stuff, and he accidentally drops them off the edge of the boat and goes like 'ah shoot,’ but when he sees lh looking upset he quickly goes 'hey, it’s not your fault buddy, i’m not mad’ like idk. i dk. im not a pb stan and idk all her characteristics but i cant see her picking up on lemonhope being upset and immediately jumping to 'that wasn’t your fault,’ but i could be wrong.

i guess what i’m saying is i could see it if phlan was just pb but i do nOT WANT TO because phlannel fucking boxingday is the nicest, most caring adult in adventure time i’ve ever seen in my life and i don’t want to believe he’s not still running around making lost kids feel good about themselves and see their own worth

esp since it clearly worked with lemonhope, but pb doesnt seem to have continued acting like phlan (speaking gently and evenly and being more patient and understanding with kids, even if just to get what she wants) even though lh definitely benefited from being treated like that. but tbf she (at this pt, after ‘you made me’) seems to be pretty aware of how lemon people don’t need the same things candy people do, so maybe she would think if lh benefited from it, candy kids wouldn’t? maybe she just hasn’t interacted with v many sad little kids since the lh special. idk. my knowledge of stuff after s6 gets kinda fuzzy since i dont have them on dvd to watch on loop in the background while i do stuff

i love !!! bones !!!! i havent known them for long, only a few months maybe, but talking to them every day has been a blast and our convos are usually filled with Chaotic Plotting and us talking over each other and its just. Gr8. we originally met on our a.va's dem.on blogs and i remember loving her m.aggie so fuckin much dude everything she said abt her was so !!! dang !!! good !!!! and even now with her emb.er & her ecla.ir i can see how much care & thought she puts into all of her muses. dude even thinks into their family and develops those characters which makes everything SO MUCH MORE REALISTIC. her writing is a joy to read also ?? its so pretty i love how she describes everything and i love all of the little references she sticks into her descriptions that fit her characters perfectly. im glad i dragged them into g.orillaz hell w/ me because we've got such a good thing going on w/ em & noods it makes me so happy !! also callout for bones WE GOTTA THREAD SMTH ASAP OR IM SPAMMING ASKS

KIT IS AN ANGEL. i've only actually spoken her for maybe ??? two ?? three weeks ??? but we hit it off super quick and shes such a nice & supportive person ! i believe we first followed each other on our a.vas d.emon blogs but, seeing as we were both the same character, we never really approached each other 'til joining g.orillaz. i am so glad we actually started talking bc BOI !!!! I LOVE HER !!! she's so fun to talk to & to plot with. we'll just throw lil concepts at each other every once in a while and its Gr8. and !! her 2.d is so fuckin spot on let me tell u she's one of the ppl that, when i see her on the dash, i stop and read her writing even if it isnt for me because im so gay for her writing style. its so descriptive and eloquent and i love the way she formats ! i feel like she does his dialogue perfectly every time because its never been hard to understand for me but it still reads in his voice in my head which is (ok emoji x20). her hcs are a joy to read & i just !!! dont get me started on what we've talked about for 2.d and noodle im SO FUCKIN HEART-EYES FOR REALLY CLOSE PLATONIC RELATIONSHIPS AND THEY GOT ME SO EXCITED TO REPLY TO EVERYTHING ?????? uhhh heres things that matter 2 me i guess

i very deliberately went for a military uniform bc uhhhh. its xephos dude

his uniform strongly resembles (see: i fucking stole it) a legitimate? military ranking system. i forgot to change th uniform because by the time i drew it i forgot it wasnt original

this uniform in particular means some rank thats “less than captain” or smth. the actual proper captains uniform would have been ideal, however, it required a cape-like fashion that was over the left shoulder; something i used for faux lalna’s design (COMPLETELY unintentionally)

also very strongly based off of my comment when the “updated” yogs skins first came out: i said som shit about how he looked like the nutcracker

his body works similar to sardonyx’s from su. i rly rly wanted him to be able to twist parts of his body 360 degrees (or more). so he’s got 3 main body segments: his head + torso, his..... other 2 arms, + his legs

the torch was replaced with the sojourners staff. the sojourners staff is a minecraft mod item that allows you to place torches from a distance - it was, generally, more fitting to the red/gold Aesthetic(tm) faux xephos has going on (also, i just love that item lmao)

his two swords should ALSO be similar to the “rift blade” from the dimensional doors mod (a personal favourite for a weapon xephos would have, and something a lot of ppl were into - xephos having a blade that would open up rifts in space). unfortunately i’m very lazy and don’t want to draw swords. if faux xephos attempted to open a rift in space (idk if i Want him to) he wouldnt be able to use it to transport HIMSELF since hes too big

he has wheels instead of feet because i said so 

some stuff abt the dungeon hes in

ADDITIONALLY, if faux xephos was ever paired w faux honeydew (which im debating), it’d be very similar to this part of ck9c’s “you can’t hide” (the following 45 seconds)

its dark. its Very Dark.

it’s like a large maze (or a labyrinth? is that the word). you basically need to navigate in the dark. ok

a lot of the dungeons are maze-like anyways in the sense that... DUNGEONS .. but xephos’ is a lot smaller in comparison . because you keep getting lost

encountering faux xephos is like .. instead of fighting, i guess, u gotta Run The Fuc Away. he will tear the fuc through hallways and chase you down to kill u. he will deliberately remove any lights tht exist so u cant get away. he will also probably put lights down to fuck w you. i really havent thought this far ahead. help me

i guess like? finding faux xephos is lke .. the first encounter is Very Early and you wont fight him. ull just run. but much later youll come back to defeat him . Much Later. until then hes just in his dungeon. crying over how perfect he is probably

a cape-like labcoat covers his left arm because, when it reaches a certain point in his boss battle, it will tear away/be removed to reveal an amalgamation of lalnan(?) mannequins . body horror warning in the link but think of the rimmer monster except it’s w lalnas

the faux lalna (non monster) design very deliberately resembles the original lalna skin (whatever it was in tekkit etc)
