Valveplug ahead!
I'm so into the idea of silly and kind ES Optimus being a very mean, sadistic dom in berth. And some other kinks like that. Like chaining Megatron under the desk for spike warming 🤩
Obviously, consent would be a huge deal for him. Very important.
It's a good thing Megatron is so into it, then!
Like. One of their favourite things is Optimus threatening Megatron how he'll just trap him so nothing but his aft and valve are visible, so anybody who wants can fuck him. Being a public fragtoy is all you're good for, basically.
Of course they do vanilla interfacing as well. They just enjoy their scenes!
Consent is legitimately half the fun imo! Like. I've seen fics where Megs is explicitly stated to be a masochist, and I believe there's an interesting discussion to be had here about their pasts (not only the separate ones, but the one concerning their interactions) and how things are going after the war.
and I mean
yes
under the desk cockwarming, yesss. yes.
I'm remembering "The Games We Play", and naturally am gonna suggest all sorts of scenes revolving around Optimus being the Prime??

Hear me out. I know it's unlikely that Ratio would ever have been foolish enough to directly get taken in by a scam, but considering that we know:
One of the groups specifically tricked by Kakavasha before he joined the IPC was the Intelligentsia Guild
What he tricked them about was Tayzzyronth's Swarm remnants, the exact same thing we see Ratio investigating in his very first appearance in the game, and
The researchers were described as "extremely cautious"
I am surprised that "Ratio was at least somehow connected to the Intelligentsia Guild team fooled by Kakavasha before he was ever even a Stoneheart" isn't more popular with the Ratio and Aventurine fandom.
Like imagine being Dr. Ratio. You tell your colleagues, "This seems like a scam. Are you sure you should trust this 'local guide' you've made contact with? Tell me about him. A picture? Does this even look like an Egyhazan native to you? I won't save you fools from making idiotic decisions." (You end up having to clean up the aftermath of their idiotic decisions anyway. There is sand in places on your body you didn't even know existed before this. How mortifying for the Guild. For you, by association.)
Then, next thing you know, you get a mission briefing slid across your desk from your IPC connections. They want you to work with their new Stoneheart. You open the packet to see... that little bastard with the enthralling eyes who had your moronic colleagues scrambling in the dirt on a backwater planet for months. Apparently he's made a career out of fooling you your supposedly competent guildmates.
You run off to confront him. You never met him personally back then, but you deserve compensation for the idiocy you were subjected to nonetheless. He deserves to know how much of a pain in the ass he's been in your life already without ever having met your eyes--
He proceeds to shove a gun into your hands and tries to make you an accomplice to a suicide. Apparently, this is normal behavior for the man now called Aventurine. Somehow, it's supposed to prove to you that he is a sane and reliable individual.
Absolutely nothing in your life has been normal since Egyhazo.
You would like to have mundane problems, sometimes.
How do you keep ending up in this beautiful manic clever conman's orbit, and why, like binary stars, can you not escape the gravitational pull?

It's always funny to me when in an lu fic the chain is offered bananas and don't accept them. Like, you're offering these high energy adventures free food?? Fruit they'll have never even heard of before??? A ridiculously expensive imported good at best?? AND it boosts your attack?
Not ONE of these idiots would ever turn down something new and interesting to eat at least once. They'd be all over those bananas and immediately get dubbed yiga and I'm honestly surprised no one has used it in a fic yet 🤭

One of the biggest things that makes me see Leo as trans is absolutely the size of his carapace in comparison to his brothers’.
And I’m not talking about height! I’m specifically looking at his shell here, because when you compare him to the others, particularly Donnie who is nearly the same height as Leo, it’s very clear that Leo’s carapace is much longer in proportion to the rest of his body.
Like - standing side by side, even though Donnie is shorter his carapace ends noticeably higher up than Leo’s does. And I like this not only because it really helps push the idea that Leo could very likely be trans (or intersex!), but it’s also just a fun design difference between them.
(It also lends way to future scenarios of Donnie eventually getting taller than Leo, but sitting down still has Leo being the taller one haha.)

I've been thinking some binggeyuan Thoughts.
So, people usually write any binggeyuan as after the bingge vs bingmei extra which is super valid and narratively makes a lot of sense, but I've been thinking about dropping a bingge from earlier in the PIDW timeline into Shen Yuan's world. I'm talking like. Reverse transmigration straight from the abyss.
He finds Xin Mo, his seal gets fully broken, but instead of getting out of the abyss to get his revenge plans started he gets yeeted into modern day China, nothing but the clothes on his back and a system to guide him through it. He's bitter but he's also been fighting tooth and nail to survive for *checks watch* five years. He's like. 3/4 black lotus. Xin Mo hasn't quite had the time to sink its claws in.
I really do just have the mental image of Shen Yuan picking him up from out of an alley cause he looks like he got mugged. like a dirty kitten.

Had an idea for a Poe drawing, since he’s canonically a military grade sniper I wondered when he would’ve entered the military.
Its implied his Guild arc is mostly spent writing his book, and his early twenties were spent with detective work as seen in the flashback to the detective competition.
Thus, he was in the army presumably in his teen years, 15 and up.
And ofc my doodle of it as a little Polaroid with a Kate Bush reference. He couldn’t have his eyes covered and therefore had shorter bangs
Also, bsd takes place 2013 esk and Poe is 28, he would’ve been 15 in the year 2000 and born 1985.

hello for the ask game 9: any theories on stuff unexplained by the game?
I always love theories and thoughts and worldbuilding hcs etc so anything in that vein works :3
I think my favorite little worldbuilding headcanon is that Ka Bue is super chill about aromanticism and asexuality! Not in the same way as irl activism, but it's something that is understood and respected in their ideology, like transgenderism in Vaugarde. So if we combine the powers of everyone in the crew we'll get an entire queer-friendly worldview going lmao!
Maybe... Something about an overarching philosophy of understanding the self? In Vaugard they see the self as something you refine through making, creating and destroying and rebuilding, but in Ka Bue you're supposed to be uncovering and polishing what's already there. And part of that is understanding your position in relation to others, so they have a lot of little descriptive words for flavors of relationships and dynamics, and being the sort of person who seeks those dynamics. Like "oh i'm usually the comedic straight man of the friend group and i seek out jokesters who play well off of that". And that means that nonsexual romance, nonromantic sex partners, QPRs, etc, are all understood dynamics, and various kinds of friend and family and colleague relationships are seen as distinctly important, and being alone is seen as a valid dynamic!
Now that I've typed this out I love it more and more... I was originally just thinking about the metaphor of cutting and polishing a gemstone, but having a lot of little Dynamics that various people may find more or less relevant to themselves is a similar approach to having thousands of Expressions! And it meshes with the transphobia as well - you can describe yourself as having dysphoria but you're not supposed to go and try to change that.
And there's that Odile + Isabeau conversation where she gets really specific about their relationship: "We're not friends, we're associates. Colleagues. Allies at best." And she's obviously joking, but this hc puts some extra weight behind her making that particular sort of joke! Plus she's the one who's like, "I wouldn't call you all friends, that would be weird, we're more like family," and she gets mad about being called the mom. I love the idea that she has Very specific dynamic classifications in mind for her relationship with each member of the crew, and gets pissy that Vaugardian doesn't have the same nuance/connotations!
And this philosophy being the total opposite of the Change belief is so interesting for Odile in particular! It would definitely flavor people's perception of her in Ka Bue - oh, she's one of those fickle Vaugardians who change masks every day and will never truly understand themselves. No wonder she wanted to get actual Vaugardian perspective on their belief. Oh, how lovely it will be for her to synthesize the two extremes, and both discover and create who she is!!

What if y/n from have you eaten? Au had eating disorders?
oou! good question!
yes! that is definitely a scenario i would like to explore in the fic when i get to it. also why i want to write the fic with multiple different Y/Ns so we can explore different experiences and relationships with food
there is a "main Y/N" who is a glutton who likes to try anything and everything. i haven't done the research for it so i can't say whether or not they have an eating disorder, but they DO have an unhealthy relationship with food as a result of being shamed for their appetite. so that, coupled with their job that emphasizes appearances and first impressions, they eat smaller meals, seemingly healthier meals, safe meals. but when they're alone at the restaurant with the DCA boys, without having to worry about who sees them or how much they eat, they're able to enjoy their food openly and honour their body's cravings.

Hunter x Hunter Theory Time!
What if Killua kills Hisoka in the end?
This probably seems like it comes out of nowhere, but I’ll lay out my reasoning here.
First, the manga has teased the possibility of Hisoka and Killua fighting very early on. During the hunter exam, in the time before the final phase when Netero was conducting interviews of everyone. When asked, Hisoka said that the person he was most interested in was “99”—Killua. He saw his potential then, but was content to continue focusing more on Gon, for a few reasons. Gon is easier to manipulate/provoke into a fight, and additionally Killua has a kind of Hisoka-protection in the form of Illumi’s possessive love.
So we know that Hisoka wouldn’t turn down a chance to fight Killua in the future. (How Illumi would factor into this whole mess is another thing to consider, but let’s not think about that right now.)
Another big thing: Hisoka killed Gotoh in the chairman election arc, which Killua still doesn’t know about. This is something that has to be relevant later, right? In my mind, there is no way we never return to this. Gotoh has an important enough role in the story that his death wouldn’t happen without a purpose. In the Zoldyck family arc, when Gotoh is challenging our favorite guys in his weird coin game, he says at one point that he’s seen Killua grow up and considers him to be like a son. From what we know of Killua and Silva’s relationship, Silva was a fairly distant father, in terms of being there for Killua emotionally. It wouldn’t surprise me if Killua also saw Gotoh as something like a dad. At the very least, I think he’s someone important to Killua, in a way that Killua probably doesn’t think about much—until he’s gone.
(Gotoh and Kite parallels? It’s more likely than you’d think.)
So, my theory is that Killua will find out about Gotoh’s death later on and go a little bit ballistic.
It would be cool if Gon helped him, too, though I can’t imagine he’d be on a similar level to Killua in terms of Nen. I think he’ll other find some other way to fight or if he recovers his Nen, it will be different and less offensively powerful. (Is this me just thinking it would be cool for their roles to swap so Gon gets to play the support role? Maybe, but wouldn’t that be neat? Give Gon healing powers or something, that’s all I’m saying.)
I’ll admit, this theory is very self-indulgent. I just think Killua deserves to kill Hisoka, and it would be entertaining for us, as well.
And also, think about it…that guy has got to die eventually, and who else can kill him? This is Hunter x Hunter, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Hisoka died from like, falling off the boat and drowning or something absurd like that. Still, he’s ridiculously overpowered in a sense.
Manga spoilers here: Chrollo couldn’t even kill Hisoka for good, because he cheated! The thing about Killua, though, is that he’s also ridiculously powerful in a sense. When he fights Youpi, he’s able to land multiple blows very quickly while Youpi can do nothing, because Godspeed is just that insanely fast. Hisoka might be strong and annoyingly clever, but he can only move so fast. Killua is also strong, he’s also very smart, and his ability, though somewhat limited with the whole “running out of charge thing”, is kind of insane.
Anyway…let Killua kill that clown.

I have been thinking on the nature of mdzs as a deliberately vague text that leaves many things up to interpretation, and how i've slowly come to understand "up for interpretation" less as "there is One True version of this story i must find" and not even as " Everyone has a different One True Version of this story inside their head be based on their interpretations and the differences don't make one wrong and the other right" but as "There is no One True Version. Even in my own subjective interpretation of the text multiple things can be true at once" specifically, in regard to Jin Guangyao and the many things which are left up in the air as to whether he did them or not, most notably killing his son.
There's evidence for this, but it's non conclusuve (jgy saying he killed him while also saying he killed Qin Su, who very much killed herself. The speculations on how he'd have killed him being sect leader yao just saying shit. ) it is, esentially, just up in the air enough that if you decisively fall on one side of the debate is probably says more about you and your general opinion of jgy than it does about the "true" events of canon.
I have, as a proud apologist, always fallen on the "he didn't kill him but felt in some way responsible for his death." Side but recently have become more okay with the interpretation that maybe he DID kill him, and that at the very least, that when he tells Qin Su their son "needed to die" he is being genuine. Which, once you look at it beyond. "Is jgy a poor lil meow meow who it is Okay to Like or an irredeemable baby murderer" becomes both INCREDIBLY tragic and deeply interesting. Because here is a man condemned for who his parents were and who wants nothing more than to live, saying that it is possible to be so cursed by your heritage that you need to die. There is no existence for you. The exact same thing that has been said to him.
Of course being born out of wedlock to a sex worker and being a product of incest are different things, but that begs the question: where is the line? What crimes of the father can mean death for the son? How cursed can you be until your existence is so incompatible with society it is you who needs to give? And if there is... where is it? Qin su clearly thought she was past it. Was his son really past it? Is he?

sorry if idk this but what do you think about Wordgirl now in 2024 do you still like it do you still want to make art or talk about it or are you just done with all of it forever and plus i seen that you haven't made art of it since 2022 so you just done with all of it oh yeah and what about The Magnus Archives + Wordgirl ao3 fic too like is that just going to be and i know that your working on 2 au's now just wanting to know that's all
My interests tend to come in intense bursts and then fade. Unless something like, big happens like it gets a reboot its unlikely I'll be coming back to it anytime soon. As for the fic I don't have any current plans to finish it unfortunately.
