Manga panels I particularly missed while watching this episode

i saw a post on my personal about distinguishing between stories that have a message and then fail that message and then stories who have a message and then write it badly and like let me b real here dnangel as a manga is not a clear, well written masterpiece. it's not particularly consistent in what goes on really beyond the characterizations. in fact it's carried nigh entirely by its characterizations, which is why when u drop the ball with those and completely throw them away like the miserable excuse of an anime did, the whole entire series just Collapses. but it's a cute lil 1997 shoujo romp and that makes it goodbad. badgood. it's dated, but it's still overall pretty sincere. genuinely i do think a lot of sugisaki's intentions and heartfelt messages are in it and those are absolutely worth listening to, but mainly it's just supposed to be fun. as an rper too i'm like.... i take the plot seriously and try to dissect it and put it into something coherent and functional, nobody else has to. i'm already semi non-canon, but preserving sugisaki's inherent messages with her characters alongside being actually faithful to their canon characterizations is something important to me, and i also think that's fun. yakno??

played dnd for the first time for a friends bday party yesterday, lots of fun, i see why everyone likes it >:0

#the campaign was pretty pre-set since it’s targeted for beginners n like team building stuff #and we were kinda awkward at the beginning trying to get into how the game works and the role playing hfjhk #but the dm was seriously amazing idk how he came up w all that stuff on the spot #i can imagine how u could come up w some amazing storylines if u were playing seriously #but some of my friends in that group are the type of ppl who must do a bit At All Times #so it ended up being a rly silly chaotic game hfjjk #oh yea n i know how the dice thing works now… amazing #we rolled so many natural 20s actually hgjjk

lime has such a special place in my heart. like hes such a prominent character in the story and even though he was one of the first ones made i still have a hard time finding something to do with his arc that is satisfying to me and brings justice to him as a character,.,

experiencing any level of joint pain for longer than a day or two has only reinforced my belief that ppl with chronic pain are actually the strongest motherfuckers on the goddamn planet

#marzi speaks #hi. my knees r still kinda fucked up. at some point a few days ago i hyperextended my elbows #so now those have been hurting #my traps r fucked bc i’ve been stressed and those are prone to holding tension in me #my knee pain made me walk wrong for a little bit so now i’m trying to fix that to alleviate the foot and ankle pain #oh yeah. my thumb is still tender for some reason despite the tendonitis having been healed as well #the only part of my body that hasn’t betrayed me as of yet is my spine and pelvis #i am so sick of moving and having it hurt #and like i can go about my day n shit. and have a good time #but it is always there and it is fucking annoyingggg #and ppl with chronic pain just live their whole lives like this.#and they don’t blow up and attack anyone who treats them shitty about it #and i am amazed #bc i talked to my dad abt maybe going to the doctor abt my knees to see what’s going on #bc i don’t remember injuring them at all and i don’t really feel too much improvement on a day to day #and he just gave me a stretch to do about it #now the stretch helps. but my knees still hurt. so like. what do u want from me #if i were to bring it up again he’d probably say it wasn’t a big deal. he’s seen me hobble around the house n how slow i’m moving rn #i normally run around my house. i have been walking at a pace that pisses me off bc i’m impatient #even just having like. worries that are probably exagerrated get dismissed like that has kinda made me wanna kill him a little bit #and this is something that i know is gonna heal and get better #ppl with chronic pain don’t Get That. and they are still dismissed constantly #how do you not like. murder everyone around you. the infinite patience. genuinely the strongest among us #i didn’t mean to complain in these tags as much as i did (my knees r actually doing pretty ok rn and my ankles are getting better)#but i suppose i am bitter

I had yet another long, strenuous day yesterday and didn't finish work until super late and then I couldn't fall asleep until well past 2am cuz I was in so much pain from standing literally all day

#what made it worse was the client I spent most of my day with was a brand new client. and she booked super last minute #so I wasnt mentally prepared for doing a 5 hour color. and her natural hair was already pretty light so I had to foil foil foil. go back.#pull out first couple foils. foil foil foil. go back. pull out the next few.#over and over and over.#and her hair was so fucking long. and so fucking thick.#and after the first hour she wouldn't talk. like I like my silence so I don't fight it much #but every now and then I would try to engage with her. I'd say something and she would straight up ignore me. no acknowledgment.#which makes me feel anxious cuz it's like jesus... does she hate me?? did I piss her off somehow?#even when I finished her hair (it looked fucking amazing no lie. one of my best highlights yet.) she had next to no reaction to it #she was like 'it looks fine. I mean good. it's good.' completely deadpan #I laughed it off and was like yeah it's been a long day girl! but it looks amazinggg on you!!#no response. deep inhale. alright.#whatever tho.#when I did finally get off work I stopped @ bojangles cuz I was lightheaded and hadn't eaten since morning #and when I tell you I almost broke down into tears cuz there were so many people crowding the goddamn pickup area.#and so many bizarre conversations going on. genuinely felt like I was in some form of hell #like my feet hurt. my back hurts. I'm tired. I didn't get the validation I like to have over a 5 hour transformative color.#I'm hungry and there are two elderly women blocking the pickup counter. one is hard of hearing so she keeps yelling HUH???#and the other only speaks in soft baby whispers. that goes as well as you can imagine.#there's a man behind me grilling an employee abt whether or not he goes to church. he starts witnessing to him #and the employee says 'I've never thought about it like that before' no less than 4 times.#there's a child in front of me playing tiktoks @ full volume. and this is all happening simultaneously.#I really considered just leaving without my food but I knew I needed to eat and didnt have anything at home so I stuck it out #was it worth it? no. bojangles honestly sucks these days but what's a girl gonna do.#got home and tried to pass out but nope. tossed and turned all night.#put on hot n cold patches to try to soothe the pain a little. didn't work cuz one pain would be eased a bit and another pain would take over #blahhhhhh #and now. I get to do it all over again! yippeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
