I solved the unlocked sudoku! It was pretty challenging, but now I’m in your inbox like I’m outside Rentaro’s shed begging for more puzzles
Congrats on solving!
I have a few other puzzles out there, with ranging difficulty
Getting Knotty: German whispers, region sums, and renban lines. Tested pretty solidly at a 2/5 on difficulty
What is this Feeling?: German whispers and renban lines. This one is older and has been solved but wasn’t ranked for difficulty; I think it’s on the simpler side. Note that caged cells contain a secret but serve no purpose in solving the puzzle
We’re Off (To See the Wizard): German whispers, entropic lines, and partial kropki. This tested higher than I expected on difficulty at a 3.4/5
And for anyone else, the mentioned puzzle It’s Unlocked from the most recent Clue Crew zine, featuring German whispers and killer cages, intended to also be on the simpler side
For a wider range of puzzles, check out dailykillersudoku.com or the studio goya app Killer Sudoku or Cracking the Cryptic – the Killer Sudoku app is paid but has zero ads while the Cracking the Cryptic app has some free sample sudokus with a variety of variants and then a number of paid packs, again with no ad. Searching “generally approachable sudoku” will also yield a number of interesting puzzles that aren’t too difficult

Hiii I really love your art and was wondering if you wouldnt mind showing what kind of brushes you use for your recent drawings thank you so much and i look forward to your future arts!
Of course! I've answered this a few times before but have never really tagged it properly, and I also realised that I've never actually explained what I use each brush for so I'll do that now!:
I'm gonna go through each of these brushes in order (and if i remember correctly, I'll link the top two since they arent default CSP brushes). (NOTE: almost all of these brushes have anti-aliasing turned off so that it can look more crispy and pixely!!! there is one exception to this that I will get into)
For this brush, I exclusively use it for sketching, it's advertised for inking digital manga panels, but with how the pen pressure is I feel like it adds form to my sketches
This brush, Sleuth-y Pen, is what I use mostly for MSPFA panels, mostly for lining, but sometimes for sketching too if I'm having a hard time with my usual sketching pen. It's really good if you want to replicate the homestuck style, and good for broad strokes on smaller canvases. The only issue is that the brush isn't great for that style if you use it on a larger canvas (ideally you would want 650 x 450) and can be especially messy if you're trying to get smaller details, such as open mouths, and certain facial details. I use another brush for that, which I will get into soon.
My second use for the sleuthy pen is for lineart on larger canvases in my usual artstyle! It has a texture to it that I like, as I like having my art appear a little rough around the edges, and the issue regarding small details isn't nearly as prominent of a problem
Almost done! Now we have the G-pen, a default CSP brush! This used to be one of my top 2 pens, along with its counterpart "Real G-pen" but nowadays I use it for two things: clean-up during rendering (usually getting those smaller details done that the sleuthy pen has difficulty with) and for doing SOME MSPFA panels (Vast Error, for example)
As you can see here, Liaaam's face is a little smoother than the rest of him, that's because I use the G-pen for those details, to keep things a lot cleaner! As for my other use, Vast Error's style from my understanding is a lot more "smooth" and "clean" which is why I exclusively use the G-pen for it, you can also make a lot of thick, juicy brush strokes with it which I feel works really well for the hair and folds in the clothes!
Finally, the Real G-pen, another default. This one is very similar to the last, its only differences are that it's slightly sharper and ever so slightly more messy. It's almost like a medium between the sleuth-y pen, and the g-pen.
I'll be honest, I don't use this pen much anymore, BUT, I still consistently use it for one thing and one thing only: Friendsim sprites. If you want to make friendsim sprites I highly suggest this pen, and making sure it's set to "weak" antialiasing. If you want to go the extra mile, I like to use a lasso-fill tool to block out shadows in all of my art, although if I'm using a rougher brush I'll usually do that manually. There's also other brushes I've been using more for rendering full pieces, such as a "rake brush" and a "design pencil" with low pressure to get details like blush down without making it too intense. That's basically it! I'll link the brushes below if I can find them: sleuth-y pen textured pen rake brush

Lookism x Reader: Simps
G/N. Gun Park, Ryuhei Kuroda, Jake Kim. Just stupid and silly.

Goo calls Gun a simp.
He says it mocking and derisive as if it is something to be ashamed of.
Maybe it is. Gun doesn't know what a simp is. Goo opens his mouth and most of the time only shit comes out. Gun isn't about to ask and neither does he care.
"Wrapped around Y/N's finger," Goo sneers and that, Gun understands.
Maybe that's true too. He still aims a punch at the blonde's head.
.
.
Leaning over Gun's shoulder, you peer at the search box and chuckle, "Simp? Why are you searching for simp?"
"I'm researching what it means."
"Huh." Your brows knit together, wondering how he came across the term, when this is the kind of person who likes to text in either simple emojis or full sentences and no inbetween, has no idea about pop culture references and terminologies, and you had to teach him what the eggplant emoji actually meant.
A lightbulb goes off.
A Cheshire cat smile creeps over your face, " Did Goo Kim call you a simp?"
Gun turns towards you, traces of annoyance on his face, "He did."
"Well, aren't you?"
He looks down at the definition of simp again, doesn't really understand why it's meant as an insult, when at the crux of it, for Gun, it's simply someone attentive and devoted to their partner.
Gun grumbles, but he supposes: Yes. For you, he is a simp.
.
.

Kenta and Ryuhei are Executives.
Part of the exclusive club of Senior Management at Workers yet they both wait patiently in line at the coffee bar as their assistants (and yours) fidgets behind them.
"They're worried," Kenta murmurs in his native tongue.
"Why?" Ryuhei glances over and indeed all three appear concerned.
"That you think they can't do their jobs."
"It's just a coffee." Ryuhei shrugs, "Anyone can get a coffee."
"Exactly," Kenta wonders if he's being deliberately obtuse. "And it's expected that assistants get the coffee. They think they're doing something wrong because you're here."
"I know how Y/N likes their coffee."
"So does their assistant."
"I know precisely how Y/N likes their coffee."
Kenta sees the beginnings of a sulk, Ryuhei's bottom lip starting to jut out and the furrow of his brows, and sighs.
Ryuhei is being deliberately obtuse. It's not even a particularly adventurous order. Even Kenta knows how you like your coffee, having unfortunately been dragged here by his friend enough times.
They both shuffle forwards.
"One large Americano. No sugar, no milk," Kenta demonstrates, rattling off your drink of choice to the barista.
It's difficult to get wrong.
Ryuhei gasps dramatically at Kenta stealing his thunder, and receives an eye roll in return. Who cares about who places the order? Ryuhei is going to be the one that hand delivers the coffee anyway, then hang around you all afternoon being a nuisance.
"You're such a simp." Kenta complains.
Any hint of indignation disappears, and a wide cheerful grin spreads over the blonde’s face.
"I know!"
.
.

For someone of Jake Kim's size, he can be surprisingly sleuthy.
He pokes his head into the room, where the majority of his inner circle sits, hears both his and your name being mentioned and his ears perk up.
Oh?
With quiet, measured movements, sneaks over to the table, and slides into the empty space between Jason and Jerry.
"-I can't believe he is such a simp!" Brad chuckles.
"He really is," Jason agrees.
Jake leans forward, "Who is?"
Lua rolls her eyes, "Jake!"
"Me?"
Hasn't this guy kept up with the conversation? "Yeah, obviously!" Lineman adds-
And then eyes widening in shock, recoils sharply. As does the rest of the table.
Jake?! When did?! How?! What?
An uncomfortable silence descends, festers, stretches taut-
Snaps, when Jake raises his eyebrows and asks the group, "I'm a simp, huh?"
Jerry, his ever loyal sword, speaks for the first time. "You are."
Jake considers it, thinks about himself, thinks about you and his eyes soften. He grins, toothy and lovestruck, "I am."

ICE Senior Detective Glitch Solved!!!
omg I feel so sleuthy right now! There's a glitch in ICE where Elsa never picks up the phone on Senior Detective mode no matter how much you try, which has infuriated me for ages because I'm a 'leave no stone unturned' kind of player. Today I tried to do something about it, and it worked!!
I noticed that regardless of how many times I read her resignation note, her phone number never appeared in Nancy's notebook. It turns out that the Senior Detective glitch is that it never registers that you've read the note, which then never activates her phone number.
So the solution is to go into the developers menu and manually check off the event that you've seen her number! Solution: Press ctrl+shift+tab+C at the same time to bring up the developer's menu. Go to the 'Events' tab and search for 'elsa'. Check off the event "Saw_Elsa_Number". Hit Enter.
Note 1: The resolution of my screen makes the menu dialog stretched and cut off. If this happens to you, you can still do the above! The parts that you need will be on the screen (using search makes it so you don't need to scroll through the events), and hitting Enter will work instead of clicking the OK button that is cut off.
Note 2: Elsa doesn't always answer the phone even when you've seen the number. If you do this and she doesn't immediately answer, try calling again at another time (I'm not sure what her available hours are, but this is what worked for me!)
Sorry for such a long-winded post, but I am so excited to have figured out a solution!!

whats your trickster form
So funny thing about this is that my usual sona is that my sona is basically kind of horrorterror-adjacent to begin with (i.e. vaguely squiddy and 'eldritch' in the stereotypical sense.)
And I've been meaning for a while to convert xyr to a more Homestuquesque [sic] style for a while now. Here's my attempt to sketch her in a more Problem-sleuthy style a la Fluthulu and the other zoologically dubious gang.
There we go! Suitably sketchy imho.
However, this presents a problem. Because canonically
Trickster mode horrorterrors are just the squiddles.
Dear god.
Oh the humanity. Or lack thereof.
However, if I gotta go traditional (i.e. human or trollsona with some sort of sugary confection latched to their cranium).
It's Toblerone. Gotta be Toblerone.
I mean the most prominent thing I've done in this fandom is lengthy Junefic and a smattering of gender theorization, and given the weight of the mighty Toblerone in this fandom, it only seems appropriate. Plus I have like. Three toblerone in my bedroom right now. For credibility.

My turn on the Dream Curse! You were making an entire PATFW themed haunted house. The ticket booth looked like Rainhaze’s head. People who came through kept trying to ask about changes to the story and you were getting gently frustrated
People are getting so sleuthy they're trying to hack the dream world for future content. You'll never get my secrets!!

Guess who's back (back again)? It's me, your Secret Sleuth with what might be a trickier question. Are there any old objects you think might be cursed? For example, my parents boiler always scared me. I think it might have had a demon living in it. Or, there's an old doll my mom has with stringy hair that, when I first saw it in the attic as a kid, I thought for SURE it was possessed.
Sleuthy's back, tell a friend!
Hate to tell you, but that doll was ABSOLUTELY possessed. Also pretty likely that the boiler was too. But you survived! So that's a win on surviving possessed or cursed objects! Go Sleuthy!
I'm not sure there were ever any *objects* that I thought were cursed growing up. Mostly because if I came across anything that seemed cursed I would nope out immediately. But we lived in a really really old house until I was ten that I absolutely think was haunted. And then from ten on just a really old house that had a frankly terrifying cellar. That was for sure haunted, and just seeing the door down to it would freak me out.

I want to play this or that to get to know you and your likes a bit better! don't read too much into the options, they are plucked at random

day or night
angst or fluff
there's only one bed or fake dating
coffee shop au or ice skating au
friends to lovers or rivals to lovers
complete au or canon divergent
slow burn or second chance romance

Sleuthy, these are fantastic questions!
winter (I miss living somewhere that got lots of snow!)
night
fluff
there's only one bed (but only barely because I also love fake dating)
ice skating au (only because they're less common so I'm always excited when I find one and I'm currently catching up on a great one)
friends to lovers
complete au (again only barely because canon divergent is also so wonderful)
slow burn
books

she would've loved you
by sleuthy
Then, she approaches the punching bag. It’s seen some damage but it’s nothing like the sand bags she’d wail on as a kid or the dingy thing she’d scrounged up in her pitfighter days. It’s in House Kiramman’s colors, blue and gold, with the family crest printed on the shiny leather.
Vi touches the surface in astonishment.
She’s never seen boxing equipment so…neat. So well-kept.
“There you are,” Cait’s voice pipes from the hallway, surprised and still groggy. Her hair is still a mess, and she’s wearing her robe over her slip. “I’ve been looking for you.”
“Whose was this?” Vi blurts. “I – I didn’t know this was here.”
“Oh,” Caitlyn says, “it was my mother’s.”
Vi finds a room in Kiramman manor that she's never seen before.

The sleuthy soccer mom was investigating a string of neighborhood burglaries and thought she had just cracked the case. She was walking to the local police station when she was suddenly grabbed from behind. Before she could scream, she was tightly gagged with her own sherpa fleece scarf and forced into a van where her wrists and ankles were bound as well. She noticed that her kidnappers were the people she had fingered for the break-ins as they drove her to their hideout. They brought her into the basement of their hideout and left her there for a while. She could hear the sounds of them moving the stolen goods out into their van. After a few hours, their leader came and spoke to her. “You’ve figured us out, so we’ll have to be getting out of here. We’ll be leaving you bound and gagged here while we make our getaway. Nobody knows about this place, and I doubt you’ll be able to get out of those knots, so this basement will be your tomb. Farewell.”
“Mmmnnn Nnnnmmmn Mmphhh” she pleaded furiously into her soft fleece gag, shaking her head back and forth as he left and locked the door behind him from the outside. Not even she figured out where the hideout was, so she knew he was right that no one would find her, and her bonds did indeed feel impossible to escape. Would she be able to make it out?

hi jen! it's your secret sleuth! i hope you're staying warm and cozy this holiday season and happy belated birthday! do you have any holiday songs that you really love, or otherwise: what kind of earworms have been on replay for you lately? what are a few favorite nace moments or episodes that you love to revisit! HAPPY SLEUTHING!
omg, hello sleuthy!!! i am happy to hear from you!
i am partial to a slightly gloomy, non-traditional christmas song (see: christmas lights by coldplay, river by joni mitchell, 'tis the damn season by miss swift). for the more jolly side of things, i love christmas time (don't let the bells end) by the darkness or it's the most wonderful time of the year by andy williams.
for non-christmas music, i have been listening to a lot of sabrina carpenter (bed chem and taste are faves) and chappell roan!
my favourite nace moments... gosh, there are so many! i loved in s1 when he "drank poison" for her (plus the "i knew nancy, i knew she was right" moment after). also loved him keeping the secret that ryan was her dad when she found out, bc she wasn't ready for everyone else to know. i;m a sucker for all the moments where he showed up for her in the way she needed and didn't push her to share things before she was ready (see: "i know lately you have been pummeled by life" conversation). i go insane for all the longing moments in s3 (esp the look through the car window in 303 and when he asks her what her dream was about in 304). also feel feral about the exchange "i'm not lacking anymore" "you never were" from the s3 finale. and the entirety of 403 sends me into another dimension of joy and angst.
i always think about s4 that i would have liked *ace* to have been nancy's companion when they time travelled back to the 1970s (in 406), bc it would have been more fun and also angsty seeing them have to work together after the drama of 403. plus, i would have loved the black door cover up to have actually been about them and their curse rather than a random accident. just generally i want nace to be together always and for everything to always be about them, even when they are sad / hurt / pining for one another lmao.
i hope this helps, sleuthy!!! hope you are having a good day!! xooxox
