In the Third Age Aredhel settles completely in Imladris, deciding that she should spend the rest of her days with what is left of her family. Perhaps it was always meant for her to come full circle, for where she left Gondolin and Turgon she has now settled in the realm of his great-grandson. Besides, Glorfindel is there, and reminds her of days before tragedy and loss. They are her family, and she is theirs.
