So anyway came up with the theory that i don't want to be true but won't leave me alone that the Operative is Cody. Because he survived and seemed significant and we never saw his face but we know he's a clone.
And the last we saw of Cody he was going to defect and you'd think he'd have found his way to Rex by now if he did. And if the Empire found a clone commander defecting they would have done exactly what they tried to do with Crosshair--turn him into an operative and wipe his identity
anyway I hate it but it COULD BE TRUE

The child had escaped his crib once again and toddled over to his father, tears in his eyes. "Papaaa.. Tell me a story.." he sniffled, holding a plushie close as he tried not to choke on his own tears.
"Had... bad dweam. please tell story." he begged, tugging at the Monkey King's clothes lightly. Xiaotian was scared, especially because of the nightmare he'd just had. What if it came true?!
It was a peaceful night, golden form of the Monkey King resting not far from where his young son’s crib was. There were plans to eventually construct the child his own room, a place that he could call his own and play in to his heart’s content. Wanting it to be special for his son. For now though, with what the child had suffered before being taken in by Wukong, it had been best for them to share a room. Not that the little toddler seemed to mind, wanting to be close to ‘plushie man’ as he put it and who was he to tell his kid ‘no’?
Stirring as the faint noise caught his attention, golden hues soon opening up with some blurriness to them. Sleep still present as a yawn escaped past his lips. At the sound of Xiaotian’s voice and gentle tug on his nightwear, he was fully awake. Face flooding with concern at the notice of the look adorning his child’s face, the tears that stained his cheeks and fear in his eyes made his heart sink as he quickly reached out. Taking his son in his arms and holding him close, gentle chirps escaping him to try and comfort the small child.
“Hey hey hey, I’m here now...I’ve got you...it was just a bad dream.”
A soft kiss was placed against Xiaotian’s forehead, keeping him safely tucked against him as he spoke. Hold protective. It wasn’t uncommon for the kid to have nightmares after all, especially after what he had been through before.
“Which story would ya like Papa to tell ya, kiddo?”
If the kid wanted a story tonight to help him sleep, than he had no problem with that. It would help distract him from whatever nightmare had plagued him tonight and hopefully ease him back to bed. Another kiss placed against his forehead and soft chirps once more given by the Monkey King.
“Want me to tell you your favorite or you want to pick another?”
