This is a project I've been wanting to create for a while now. It's probably already been done before, but I'm trying to make this one as unique and accessible as possible. I think the world deserves more Seb orientated fic fests, don't you think?

I was inspired by the concept of the F1 Big Bang fanfic event, and thought I'd put my own spin on it. But this time, it will be different. I will be centring this event around Sebastian Vettel and his many boyfriends. Pairings such as Martian/Sebmark, Simi, Sebson, Sewis, Sebchal, and the like. I'm including rarepairs as well to give people more accessibility and to let their imaginations run wild with creativity. Fanfic writers and artists will have free rein to pair Seb up with anyone from the motorsport world, including ROC, Moto GP, WRC, Nascar, and any of the Formula categories. You could even add Seb's Red Bull engineer Rocky and pundits such as Lee McKenzie and David Coulthard. Plus, you can put them in any situation you like; AU or otherwise. Go crazy!

It was Tianvette’s birthday yesterday! Happy (late) Birthday Tian!!!!! 🥳🎉🍾🎁

I can finally share what me and my good friend Liz (aka @kaossbells) have been cooking up to celebrate. 🥰🥰🥰

First, some context: So, around a month ago, Liz told me one day that she was working on an F1 fanfic for Tian’s birthday. Not just that, though. It’s a Socky AU set in SPACE(!!!), something which, according to Liz, Tian has been wanting to read for ages. The moment she asked me if I wanted to join her on this little journey, I immediately said HELL YES!!! I’D LOVE TO!!! 🤩😍 She then sent me little previews of her work and I drew some art for it.

This is the first time we’ve collaborated, and it was so much fun sharing ideas and giving each other feedback and support on our work along the way. Thank you Liz for such an exciting and enjoyable experience! 🥰😘

Last Show: I'm gonna assume this means the last show I finished but uh, I can't actually remember? Although I watched what Netflix has of Demon Slayer last weekend and the beginning if this week (still need to watch season 2, which isn't on there).

Currently Watching: Too many shows honestly. Though a few include Poldark, Law and Order: SVU, Peaky Blinders, and a few more anime. I'm also in the middle of a couple rewatches. In my defense some of these are heavy so I can't watch too many episodes in a row. Also I get bored of one genre sometimes and pick another.

Currently Reading: Technically nothing aside from fanfics, but I am trying to start what I think is the fourth book in the Miss Peregrine's Children series? I'd I remember correctly? Be the third. It's been a while. Uni is stressful. I did just finish an audiobook of The Chamber of Secrets too (first time reading/listening to the books, having only seen the movies, enjoying them so far).

Current Obsession: I suppose I'm pretty hyped about Demon Slayer rn, but I'm also randomly back on my Harry Potter bs (because I'm listening to the books and almost done with a rewatch of the movies) so there you go. Non-fandom-wise, I'm doing a lot of loom knitting😁

beyond the kcs ambition, on the bustling planet of mars, life continues onward. onward, of course, means different things for different people. for myungjun, it means continuing to betray his company and uncover all the secrets it’s been hiding. for dongmin, it means continuing to pine after the one man who won’t be close to him. and, for minhyuk, it means blasting off into space, light-years away from mars, and working hard to bring down the kyklos syndicate.

in this chapter sanha wants caramel wedges, minhyuk wants to get closer, and myungjun just wants to get out alive.

They’re dancing around it, avoiding the issue at hand altogether.

Minhyuk thinks there might have been point to being coy and holding back at some point.  Maybe when he wasn’t sure if Sanha was single, there had been a reason to be very careful with his words, his expressions, his lingering eyes.  But now, there is nothing in his way except for habits.  An instinctive self-defense mechanism that stands in the way of a beginning.

Sanha lingers, longer than he needs to; his drinks are finished and a friend is coming to pick him up.  His lips are fixed in a demi-smile as he speaks.  It only slips when someone else steals Minhyuk’s attention away for a brief moment.

Minhyuk supposes now is as good a moment as any.  He and Sanha should stop waiting.  Eventually, someone needs to take the first step and have the courage to weather the briefest moment of uncertainty.  Even if nothing comes of it, their friendship can live on.

Minhyuk leans over the bar, sliding a glass of water to Sanha.

“Are you interested in anyone right now?” Minhyuk pauses as he watches Sanha’s eye go wide.  He clears his throat and adds: “Romantically speaking.”

Sanha nods his head slowly, words seemingly stuck in his throat.

He wants to laugh; it is cute and a little bit out of character.  Sanha rarely buffers, always has something witty lined up to say next.  Maybe he wasn’t expecting Minhyuk to break their pattern so soon.

“Can I ask who it is?”

Sanha breaks eye contact and looks at the finished wood of the bar.  He touches the side of his water glass and uses the condensed water to write with his finger: you.

He looks back up at Minhyuk, anticipation holding his breath back, eyes hopeful.

Minhyuk wipes it away and rests his elbows on his side of the bar.  He feels his cheeks aching from the smile on his face, “Do you want to go on a date with me sometime?  Soon?”

Sanha clears his throat and tucks a non-existent flyaway behind his ear, “Yes. I’d like that a lot.”

“Cool.”

Sanha rests his hand against his cheek and sighs dreamily. Minhyuk can feel his stare for the next twenty minutes as Sanha waits for Myungjun to safely pick him up and deliver him home.

(When Myungjun does arrive and tries to herd Sanha outside, Sanha turns back every two seconds to smile and wave and giggle at Minhyuk in a prolonged goodbye.

Minhyuk hums to himself as he cleans up the bar. Even tedious chores can’t ruin his mood.)

Socky angst?

Sanha lounged in the practice room, watching Rocky dance. It always mesmerized him, being able to watch the most talented and beautiful dancer he knew of practice. That is until he watched as Rocky missed a step and fell hard, a sharp cry escaping his lips. Sanha was by his side in an instant, watching with concern as Rocky tried to hold back tears while clutching at his ankle.

“It’ll be okay,” Sanha soothed, moving to hold Rocky in a gentle embrace that wouldn’t jostle him too much. Pulling out his phone, he texted Jinjin to bring help.

Oh dear! Ummm…my recent WIP is the F1 Big Bang fanfic and I wanted that one to be a surprise. So without giving anything away, I’m instead going to pull up my second recent WIP, which is my Socky oneshot Some Great Reward.

Rocky blinked in disbelief. “You're hu…? Seb, it’s half past 4 in the goddamn afternoon! We’ll be packing up to go and get dinner soon!”

“Yeah, but I need sugar!” insisted Sebastian, curling his lip into a pout. “I’ve been having this crazy sugar craving since maybe the last 5 laps or so. Just as well I was knocked out, really.”
