As a Sofia the first fan for a decade, who’s your favorite princess? Was the show part of your childhood or adulthood like mine?

I know that lots of ppl don’t like her but I love Sofia, I feel like we had similar looks when I was younger so I just liked her

Also Amber, I mean you could really tell when there was like a different writer or director for each episode because her character development will get forgotten for a few episodes lol

Also Clio and Hildy bc they’re just so iconic

And don’t get me started on Vivian - SABRINA CARPENTER

Ik those are like ‘the main princesses’ but like they had screen time for a reason

It was definitely a show of my childhood, idk when it came out, it came out 2013, so definitely my childhood, I would have been five 😭😭

I used to spend Friday nights at my Nana’s house up until she moved out of town (I am in fact her favourite, she’s admitted it) and stf was my fav on Disney junior 

And then during Covid I BEGGED my parents to get Disney and I ended up binging stf and I realized the plot was so good, especially in the later seasons?!?!

And that was middle school for me and I had a whole Disney phase of being a Disney theorist (grandmum being sisters with queen Rita and Zandar being the lead ones) and my first time ever reading fanfiction was Sofia the first

I’m also doing my French project on Sofia the first…

Idk I was like in the Wattpad (oh god) fandom like 4 years ago

Idk I’m a girls girly, so like I’m in it for the princesses (and the other girls) and the female villains, I love the aesthetics of the show, the nostalgia, and the season 3/4 over arching plot

Another fun little thing for the fic. Vivian and Sofia very much have a “thought they had a lot of time so they never confessed” x “thought they didn’t have any more time so they never confessed” type of doomed sapphic going on and I’m obsessed

I’ve been thinking of including a scene where future (or past tbh) Sofia’s amulet summons Vivian from her original timeline, and Sofia gets a bit of closure with only her. She finally confesses and apologizes for not giving them a chance before and it’s all fluffy but also angsty

This part definitely won’t be included in the fic, but Sofia used to date Hugo. However, while they dated, Hugo was very emotionally distant and seemed to want Sofia to be someone else for appearances and all that, so Sofia breaks it off after she runs away and everything

Vivian had a crush on her since long before she dated Hugo, though. Kind of a “fell first and fell harder” trope

Hugo would eventually get a character redemption and apologize to Sofia and they would continue on as friends

The Princess Prodigy is one of my fave episodes of the show cos Vivian is already one of my fave side characters (as she's grown from a shy princess to a badass normal princess with musical talent to boot) and I think Sofia and Vivian are super cute together so I had to draw them rocking out together in their school band outfits from that episode

Seriously, this show is super precious. Please watch it

the sofia the first fandom is coming back and i couldn't be happier

man this fandom did something to me, i stumbled upon a fanfiction of it on wattpad and now im way to far deep into the fandom (i also watched the show as a kid!!) yea, and im also a down right down hard hardcore you CANNOT change my mind, but i am a james x vivian shipper so hard!!! I will eat up the opposite attracts, sun x moon, black cat x golden retriever EVERYTIME AND THEY ARE JUST SO THAT AND MUSIC X KNIGHT IS JSISBDJ there's something about it. What if Sofia and Vivian were one day spending time together, when Vivian suddenly ends up hurting herself, scraping her knee. Sofia's quite surprised, due to the fact that Vivian is rarely ever clumsy. Sofia will help her out and it'll be a sweet best friend moment between the two Princesses. At first Vivian will want to hide it from the others, but Sofia will help her explain to the others what happened.

The concept is too adorable for words! Will have to write it down when I get a chance.

While Lucinda accompanied Cedric as she worked on transferring Sorcerer spells into Witch spells, she accidentally loses control of her magic and causes her broom to run lose through the castle.

While Vivian visits Sofia, telling her all about her stresses for the future and the music she and Clio have been working on, Vivian is run into by the Witch apprentice.
