I love writing angst, but I also love writing simple silly scenarios. A WIP fic i’m working on right now is about a heatwave in the Mystic Isles. Since summer IS just around the corner, wanted to do something seasonal‼️

Accidents happen.
Summary: Sofia accidentally breaks something in Cedric's workshop.
C*dfia shippers DNI.
Wordcount: 956
Sofia thought, staring at the broken glass on the floor and the green liquid spilt everywhere.
-
Oh no, oh no, oh no!
“Remind me, princess, I did bring some mugwort back from our last visit to the village?”
Sofia nodded, her eyes still on the green liquid. What if it took him ages to make and she just spilt it all over the floor? “Umm, yeah, I think so!” she put on the best voice she could. The last time she’d ruined something important in Roland’s office he was very upset, she didn’t want to upset Mr Cedric. He worked so hard on his potions. She stepped away as the green potion spilt closer towards her feet, she always knew his workshop was slanted!
“Are you alright, princess?”
Sofia braced herself as Cedric spun around on his stool. “I’m really sorry, Mr-”
“Sofia! Get away from that!”
Cedric rushed over to her, whisking her away from the magical goo. Paying no mind to the broken beaker, he grabbed her hands, checking over her. “It didn’t get on you, did it?”
“O-Only a little bit, I’ll clean it up!”
Sofia heard Cedric mumble some adult words before he knelt down to the broken glass, carefully picking up a shard with a label on it. He took a breath of relief, holding his hand to his chest. “Athena’s arena…”
“I’m so sorry, Mr Cedric, it wasn’t important was it?”
Cedric turned his attention back to his apprentice, petting her head with a level of care and sweetness Sofia had only ever seen him use with Calista. “No, no, It’s alright, love…Just go clean yourself up, it’s been known to stain. Bailywick will kill me if he finds out I let you stain another dress,” he stroked her hair gently, minding her tiara. Gods, had she scared him. This was why he tried to put his more dangerous potions and ingredients higher up. There were many things in his workshop she wasn’t allowed to handle, if he was working on a more dangerous spell or potion he'd practically push her out the door.
Sofia shook her head, running off to grab a broom from the other side of his workshop. “I’ll clean it, I don’t mind!”
Cedric rolled his eyes ever so slightly, snatching the broom from her small hands. Why was this child so sweet and who taught her to be such a people-pleaser? In what world does a child clean up glass? It’s an age-old situation, a little kid accidentally knocks over a glass, parent rushes over and yells at them to not go near it. “It’s glass, princess. I’ll sweep it up.”
“But that isn’t fair? I’m the one who broke it after all?”
“And I’m the one telling you to go change and let me clean up the very sharp sand on the floor because I’m the adult.”
Cedric watched Sofia’s face contort in confusion. “Glass is made of sand?” She was so cute. “How?”
Cedric smiled to himself, starting to sweep the glass into a little pile. He couldn’t have Sofia stepping on it. “It’s melted down into a liquid, then it becomes glass. Simple, really,” he explained, taking on a very soft, fatherly tone. He found himself speaking to Sofia like this a lot. It was quite odd, he didn't talk to anyone else like this, at least he’d never noticed it. “Now that that’s out of the way, won’t you go clean up? I’ll finish this.”
Sofia looked down at her purple dress, speckled with green potion. She really didn’t mind her dresses getting stained, it was only a dress, after all. If anything it was a reminder of a fun experience she got to endure. Even if Bailywick or Amber didn’t share her feelings.
“Do you have to remake the potion?”
Cedric shook his head. “It was defective, I’ve been meaning to throw it out. You beat me to it, princess,” he said, starting to rake up the goo. Sofia smiled a bit, she felt better knowing it would have been thrown out anyway. “I’m sorry I made a mess, Mr Cedric.”
“It’s alright, love. Accidents happen, I’ve broken an unruly amount of beakers in my time,” Cedric pulled his wand from his sleeve, pointing it at the small pile of liquid and glass and mumbled a quick spell, the floor becoming spotless once again. “See? No harm done.” Cedric put his wand back and patted Sofia on the head, making her giggle a bit. How was one princess so cute?
“You can’t go your whole life without a few mistakes, dear. Mistakes and accidents are inevitable, no matter how small,” the fatherly tone came back yet again, much stronger this time.
It was comforting to Sofia, it felt nostalgic in a way. Roland didn’t really speak to her in that tone, she vaguely remembers her biological father speaking to her in that way. A lot about Cedric reminded her of Birk, it was nice, considering she didn’t remember him all that much.
Sofia lept to hug Cedric’s waist, almost making him stumble backwards. That was a habit of hers, she was very enthusiastic with her hugs, sometimes a bit too enthusiastic. She just loved showing affection to the people she loved and cared about. Cedric very quickly caught on to the fact that she was a very sweet girl who wanted everyone to feel cared for, even if everyone else thought they weren’t worth the time of day.
“Thank you, Mr Cedric.”
Cedric smiled down at her, one hand on her shoulder, the other stroking her hair. He was growing to enjoy her hugs. A few years ago he would have pushed her off, but not anymore.
“It was only a glass, princess.”

I wanna read more "If Cedric managed to become a king" fics/one-shots. I found one some time ago and it was amazing. I wanna see him use his own ego and desire for revenge to try to cover the guilt he feels towards Sofia. I want to see him bitter and frustrated about having managed to become a king in the first place and make his dreams come true, then being even harsher and cruel to the commoners who oppose him as a way of taking out his anger. I want his own hatred and his own guilt to consume him and for him to realize that achieving his goals didn't took out the pain he felt, it only made it worse, and now there's no going back. I want to know what would have become of him if he had succeeded. How he would sink into his own hatred and bitterness that would lead him to misery. I want to see what would happen to him when the commoners made a revolution against him and forcibly removed him from the throne. I want to know what the royal family, or rather Sofia, will feel after the Medusa stone is removed from the wand and she sees what Cedric has become/done to the kingdom. How was he able to be so cruel. And perhaps there will be an interaction between them, between a dejected and chained Cedric, as Sofia looks at him sadly asking how he was able to do what he did, and Cedric cries because he doesn't know how or why. Or, if you want to be crueler than that, maybe they executed him during the revolution and we can only imagine Sofia's reaction when she found out... it hurts but what comforts me is knowing that it's a story that never happened and never will. But it's still interesting to think about what it would be like.
lmao we're talking about Sofia The First forget what I said

A that reader is affectionate and understanding. She's takes care of the royal kids and would do anything to keep them safe. So she doesn't know of Cedric plans b/c he knows she'll try to stop him. His plans succeed and the reader runs away to safety? Few years later the reader and Cedric are reunited, but under grim circumstances.
I'm basically asking for angst. I've just been in the mood for it.
The Reckoning of Hearts | Cedric X Reader (Angst)
“The truth is, you could slit my throat, and with my last, gasping breath, I’d apologise for bleeding on your shirt.”
summary: cedric succeeds in taking over the kingdom, and the reader manages to flee along with the royal children. desperate to save roland & miranda, the reader returns 3 years later to confront the man they once loved.
notes: what a way to return to my fiction-writing roots, lovely bit of cedric angst! i struggled so much with writers block so i hope this is satisfactory. likes, reblogs & comments are always appreciated!!
warnings: no warnings for this one, but be prepared, there’s no happy ending.

—————
Enchancia had fallen. Once a kingdom of enchanting beauty and unwavering prosperity, it now stood as a reminder of the malevolent overturn led by the sorcerer. In the days of old, Enchancia was once known for its lush landscapes, bright skies, ethereal flora, and a radiating positive vibe that was felt by all of the people who lived there. All but for one.
An outcast, Cedric was a target of ridicule and scorn, for his abilities were not like his ancestors’. His magic was untamed and unpredictable, often leading to accidents that left the villagers resentful, and the royal family disappointed. Since he was a boy, he was teased mercilessly, and with each form of mockery, Cedric’s heart grew heavy with each cruel word and teasing laugh.
Years of dealing with the torment changed Cedric. His once kind and gentle nature gave way to bitterness and resentment. He grew obsessed with power, determined to prove himself to all those who ever doubted him. Months of locking himself up in his dingy tower, studying ancient books, desperate to find a way to strengthen his powers. As he studied, the malevolent force took root within his heart, and his once optimistic eyes darkened with an insatiable thirst for revenge.
You were the first obstacle in Cedric’s road to rule. You were recently hired by the King as a nanny of sorts, tasked with the responsibility of babysitting the children, escorting them to events, and being a general companion and role model as they grew up. Cedric first met you on your first day - not that he particularly wanted to, but as ‘royal sorcerer’, he was obligated to attend all royal ceremonies and perform some extravagant show like a lion in a circus. He expected the event to be dull and sour, but he didn’t expect to feel his heart soften so much when he saw you. You were a stark contrast to the sorcerer, a sight for sore eyes. You filled the palace with your warmth, your laughter and your powerful ability to put up with the energetic children so much. The two of you would interact often, as Cedric was often dragged out of the safety of his tower by the new princess. Unbeknownst to Cedric, he found himself inexplicably drawn to your presence. Your kindness and innocence began to chip away at the walls around his heart, and he struggled to suppress the warmth he felt whenever he was around you.
He hated you. Cedric could not stand the vulnerable way you made him feel. How you sent him into a spiral of doubt about himself and his plans whenever you even gazed in his direction. He could not stand you.
Alas, your kindness was not enough to thaw the coldness that had developed within Cedric. His plans of stealing the amulet from Sofia had finally, finally succeeded, and he unleashed his dark magic upon the kingdom immediately. Imprisoning the royal couple, Enchancia was plunged into darkness, its once vibrant colours fading to shades of grey. Cedric was consumed by the anger and despair that had fogged his heart for so long, and had allowed himself to be taken over by the negativity.
You had acted fast, but not fast enough to prevent the royal couple’s imprisonment. Eager to protect the children, you had no choice but to flee the kingdom to Avalor, taking the royal children under your wing. You were welcomed with open arms, the royals vowing to protect yourself and the children, promising and reassuring no harm would ever come to you. But your heart was shattered. Utterly broken.
It had been three years since the fall of Enchancia, and you had never given up hope. The devastation of your heartbreak fuelled determination. As the years passed, a glimmer of hope began to stir within your heart. You led a group of brave and resilient individuals who sought to free the royal couple from Cedric’s tyranny. You were desperate to return the children’s parents to them safely, freeing them from the bitter ruling of a man you once thought you loved. Together, yourself and the group embarked on a perilous quest to restore Enchancia.
Cedric had all but forgotten about his adoration for you as the years went past. His heart grew colder every passing day, focusing solely on maintaining his tyrannical grip over the kingdom, and strengthening his powers.
A crisp autumn night, the moon hung low in the sky. Cedric sat on the throne, the room dusk with shadows and lit up by the twinkle of the night. Silence. Silence. Footsteps. He looked up. A cloaked figure stood before him, their eyes filled with both sorrow and determination. You raised your head and made eye contact with the man. His heart skipped a beat. When their eyes met, time seemed to stand still. Cedric could hardly believe his eyes, for there stood the person he once loved. You were worn down with the journey and the weight of your travels, but you still possessed a beauty that could rival the most enchanting sunrise.
As the memories of their love came flooding back, Cedric was overcome with a torrent of conflicting emotions — remorse for the path he had chosen, anger at himself for betraying you, and an overwhelming sense of wanting to be near you, wanting to justify and explain himself to you. He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. You looked at him with cold eyes, and a straight face, a wave of hatred rushing over you as you took in his appearance. The crown on his head was too big, and he was remarkably skinnier. His face was slim and his fingers tapped the arms of the throne idly as he gazed at you with a gaping mouth.
Silence again.
“Where are they?”
Your voice filled the silence of the room loudly, startling Cedric out of his trance.
“I— what?”
You snarled at his patheticness, at how weak and stupid he sounded as he looked at you with confusion.
“The king and queen. Where are they?” You asked again, stepping closer to Cedric slowly as you put your hand in your pocket. Unbeknownst to Cedric, you had been taking magic lessons from the Royal Sorcerer in Avalor, and had grown to possess a healthy power, enough to battle Cedric if needed.
Cedric wasn’t stupid. He knew what you were doing, he knew what you had planned as soon as you put your hand into your pocket. His face grew cold once more as he realised that, you too, doubted him. You still saw him as the pathetic sorcerer he once was. You never believed in him, in fact, you probably agreed with everyone too, laughed at their mocking jokes behind his back. He laughed to himself quietly as he realised what you wanted, and found it humorous how you thought you could take over him so easily.
“My dear, you haven’t learnt a thing, have you not? Look around.” He stood from the throne and held his arms out, gesturing to the empty room.
“I am in control. Whatever mere spells you’ve got up your sleeve are pointless against me.”
He smirked as he drew his wand, muttering a spell and drawing you close to him with the force that expelled from the tip of it. Your faces were inches away as you grunted and groaned with frustration, dropping your own wand and being overcome with the inability to move from his force. His breath felt hot against your face as you looked into his cold, dead eyes. There was nothing there. Nothing but hatred and despair.
“It’s laughable, really. I hadn’t thought about you for years, and here you are. I could do whatever I wanted to you.”
He whispered, stroking a slender finger down your cheek as you struggled. Tears began to well in your eyes as the determination shattered, the realisation kicking in that this is how it would be.
“Silence, my dear? You looked as though you had a lot to say.” Cedric teased, his hand finding his way to your hair as he stroked it.
“Don’t worry, we’ll have plenty of time to talk. You’re going nowhere.”

Suddenly remembered a headcanon of mine from a while back about how Cedric rarely, if ever, drinks around people because of how embarrassing he gets. He's already treated as a joke, imagine if he made a fool of himself when drunk...but he probably drinks alone in his tower sometimes. Never in the workshop, of course...he made that mistake once and that's the last time he's making it. I think he'd be the type to drink away his emotions.

This idea is based on another blorbo of mine. But imagine if ever since Cedric finally turned over a new leaf in 'Day of the Sorcerers', some kind of magic happened where his negative/evil side completely split apart from him... becoming an entirely separate person with his own physical body. Basically, Cedric's evil twin/clone.
Evil!Cedric would have all Cedric's memories (both good and bad), but none of his redeeming qualities or good heart. His hair would be all black, without any white streaks (indicating he has zero good in him). Also, his voice would be Cedric's Cockney from season 1, instead of the more posh accent he evolved into.
He would call himself simply 'Ced' to differentiate himself from his good half. And he would have nothing but disdain, disgust, and contempt for his other half, seeing him as weak and pathetic like Wormwood later did in season 4.
In fact, Wormwood would claim him as his new master.
Ced is just as, if not twice as ambitious and conniving as Cedric used to be. He shares Cedric's old goals to take over the kingdom, and has twice his hatred and vengeance for Roland and all those who ever wronged him (including his father and sister). He's also much more ruthless.
I can see Ced subduing Cedric to get him out of the way, hiding him somewhere, and impersonating him to take over the kingdom. They trust Cedric now, so think he's under an evil spell or something, instead of genuinely betraying them. Only Sofia realizes something is off when she sees that "Cedric" doesn't have his usual white streaks (and finds the real Cedric, shortly after).
I can see Cedric trying to convince Ced that it doesn't have to be like this, that he- they- were wrong to have such hate and bitterness consuming them all those years, but Ced refuses to listen (maybe that would happen right before or as Ced gets him out of the way).

Some Sofia doodles, mainly my future version of her from my fic (pinned on my page)!!
I just wanted to draw Village!Sofia for funsies because her design is cute, but I also wanted a purple page, so I opted for pen and a highlighter!
I am actually the worst ever at drawing in my sketchbook regularly, so I’m trying to get better with it. It was a lot easier when I was in school most of the time and able to draw in class, but I’ve been finding time around work lately.
The tag at the bottom is my Instagram! I don’t really post Sofia the First over there as of yet (so far I only have two reels of it rip), but I update my story pretty regularly and have plenty of other art on there if anyone’s interested!

PARKER'S SPECIAL SURPRISE
PARKER'S SPECIAL SUPRISE is a special Birthday episode for the “Adventures in Disney Junior”. Birthdays are something that Walton really is expecting to celebrate for the time of his life, but the problem is that he can't have it held in his New Town. Reason.. "Disasters" most involved with Villains stupidly crashing they're parties & the point of how most of his friends dealt with these situations really seals the deal, That's why he had his party celebrate far from his town without telling anyone nor even the DJ Club when it is. He kept liked it for more than few years until his 12th where it let it slip off his own mouth. At first his friends were upset of how he kept his own birthday from him but somehow understood that he really just want to have a normal birthday. And to make it up for him they all pitched in to surprise him a Birthday that he'll never forget.
Note: His Birthday is around 2011 the same year Disney Junior is aired and also the First time I've made a Birthday story, Here's the comic down below;

Betta Presents...
WIP WEDNESDAY!!
Welcome to my first take on wip wednesday, where yall get a snippet of a current original fic im brewing up! I thought it would be a cool way to give yall content without stressing myself out with needing it to be finished content. (i work slow asf lmao) Anyways. here is the wip of my upcoming two part fic, titled "The Death Of A Sorcerer; A Requiem Of A Princess"
___________
Cedric stared up at the ceiling of his cell, watching the little beads of water that slipped through the cracks in the stone above drip onto the hard brick of the floor below. Rats scurried in and out of the rusted iron jail bars to his left, carrying the untouched food he cast aside earlier back to their dens.
The tiny cell he occupied had no windows of any sort; the only light available to him was the dying embers of the torches mounted in the hallway, leading out of the cell block. The sorcerer shifts uncomfortably on the hard, freezing cold slab fixed to the wall of his prison, feeling the pins and needles wrack his thighs from sitting idly so long.
Cedric shivers, trying to pull his robe tighter against himself. It was a fruitless task, he knew- his stiffened fingers could attest, from clenching the fabric so taut for hours on end.
Though Cedric hasn't moved more than a few inches since his imprisonment the day prior, his exhaustion lingered down to the marrow of his bones. The sorcerer's mind had provided him no rest since being dragged away in chains- although, he was usually accustomed to racing thoughts that took away his sleep.
But not like this.
Cedric was normally used to the usual spiraling thoughts of "what if" when it came to his magic, his reputation, his worth as a person. Followed by the self hatred when he became a self fulfilling prophecy, and those what ifs became reality.
That was why he threw everything, everything he had into his evil dreams, wasn't it? To escape the purgatory that he was forced to call his reality. To force the hand of fate to deal him a better card. It seemed like his own blind faith, alongside his lofty ambitions, (desperation, in disguise, truly) was just another folly, and he was played for a fool.
Although, Cedric would be lying if he hadn't imagined the possibility of his evil dreams being a failure. The dream was born from him, after all- it was already doomed from conception.
At least, that's what Cedric had initially thought.
Shaking his head, he thinks back to the moment he hesitated to take over Enchancia. Sofia's bright blue eyes, pleading. The tip of his wand pointed towards her, the Medusa stone gleaming with every ounce of misguided resentment harbored from his life thus far. None of it which was Sofia's fault.
In fact, his sights were aimed at the little girl who gave him everything- which Cedric realized far, far too late. Only when Cedric had stood on the precipice of no return, did he find what he was truly looking for; not a crown, not a throne, not revenge.
A friend.
Cedric laughs humorlessly, the echo bouncing off the dampened stone walls. He tilted his chin up, the back of his head bumping into the wall as he contemplated.
How ironic. My greatest failure was also one of the best decisions I ever made.
Cedric takes in a shaky breath, feeling panic at his own demise writhe from the pit of his stomach.
"Probably the only good decision I've ever made." Cedric muttered grimly, digging his heels into the floor. Memories come crashing back into his mind, too quickly to rewind. But one instant remained.
Roland's decree was burned into Cedric's head, his authoritative voice cold and final:
"You will face the guillotine by sunrise tomorrow, Cedric. I sincerely hope you will accept your death with a little more grace, and dignity, than what you've shown me today."
The sorcerer slowly lays down on the bench as the words fade from his mind, feeling restless as his panic flared up again. His back meets the cold slab that hungrily leeched more of his body heat, and he winced in discomfort.
Cedric knew there was no chance of him getting any sleep tonight. He was too restless, and the wheels in his mind kept turning with its relentless pace about what led him to the dungeons at all.
But frankly, he was spent from regretting things that cannot be undone nor forgiven for. He was also painfully bored of staring at the same four stone walls, tracing the grout between each rock aimlessly.
Cedric's eyelids flutter shut, his chest feeling heavy.
Tomorrow, I will die.
Cedric huffs out a slow, resigned sigh.
All the better, Cedric thought, feeIing the back of his eyes burn with unshed tears.
I don't think I can live with the weight of my sins any longer.
