pages from the book i made as a final project for my 2D course last year. it was going to be a christmas present for my ex bf but things happened and i never ended up giving it to him. it's an illustration of his favourite poem (i like my body when it is with your by e.e. cummings) but also holds a lot of meaning for me about trans mlm intimacy and my relationship with my body as a trans person. idk if he still follows me here ahaha;;; n e way ..... the style was really inspired by @softooth and his process. i took a bunch of photos of myself and used them as references. anything blue is supposed to be me/an insert of myself and orange things were representing my bf. i'll post a video of me flipping through the final bound book soon!! i made it after two consecutive all nighters but it somehow turned out well and that literally was the biggest miracle of exam week.

Hiya! I was just wondering, when looking at reference for poses, what apps do you use? And do you have any artists that youre inspired by?

i mostly use pinterest! it may have its problems but it's the best for references of all sorts, if i want more trendy Looks i'll use instagram and sometimes i'm even inspired by outfits/vibes on tiktok aldjskdj

i'm inspired by a whole bunch of artists but going through the people i follow on insta: velinxi, heikala, moonlotusdreams, panicyarn, softooth, vikki.chu, mariamizuert, teddypaints, redbeanporridge, milkywaes, _mohtz, singajelly, ghostember, and of course jockgirlfriend ^.^

i guess i should also say my art instagram is teztosterone but i fucking hate instagram and don't post regularly and i don't know how to use it but if you wanna follow anyways... there you go

Favorite overall band is mcr and nirvana but right now I'm really into job for a cowboy and I've been listening to the album charmer by tigers jaw a lot because I am Emo ♡

Favorite book of all time is the autobiography the last time I wore a dress by Dylan scholinski but I'm reading some random stories by Sherman alexie rn that I Love

I am not catholic! I was raised with catholic teachings as well as stuff from Islam Judaism and other branches of Christianity (I was highkey raised in a cult but that's not something I will go into further detail on). I no longer hold any specific Religious affiliation but I am spiritual and follow some of my indigenous practices. My family is mad homophobic (including my mother despite her being gay and having been out as bi since the late 80s) and I was raised with that but uhhh idk I've never really felt any guilt about my sexuality even when I was the only gay guy in my middle school and one of the only gay guys (let alone queer people in General) in my high school. I just like dudes idk . I currently wear the rosary for blasphemous reasons ♡

To keep myself busy I am just . Being around my crackhead roommates and talking to my boyfriend 24/7. I'm doing aight I was depressed for a minute tho ngl

My hobbies are making things with my hands (building with organic materials, cooking, painting, sketching) writing and decorating/rearranging stuff with my friends.

I do not have a favorite architectural style but I do love architecture. Hm.

My favorite artist is and has been @julykings for a brick!! His art is so sincere and all about growth and change and I adore everything he's made in the past like 4 years I have followed him. If you're young or into the American Gothic/broken hearted cowboys or queer or miss having scraped knees and sunburns or love art (traditional and literary) in any way then... I really recommend checking him out (his insta is @ softooth)
