Why is your Gortash so pudgy? I mean, I do love some meat on that man but it's so funny to me that this fandom collectively decided that no, the Bane-preferred-6%-body-fat-abs-rocking Gortash is not what we want, he needs love-handles.

And yes, this ask is inspired by that line about weight gain in latest chapter of 'Urge that Binds'.

All in all i think it's more in his character to have some meat to him (at least the way I write it, not saying other interpretations are bad or wrong)

My guy was poor as a child and starved until he escaped Hells - I like to think that when he could afford to, he'd put on some mass. Also, Lady Jannath describes his 'burly arms' and that line always made me think that it'd make sense for him that he'd be very muscular, but with a layer of fat over it.

Like he's not necessarily pudgy in mu mind? Just going for a more realistic, blacksmith type body type, if that makes sense. I like the idea that under his fancy robes he looks more like a working man than a politician or patriat.

And imo he'd consider weight gain a good thing, anyway; gone is the small, scrawny child that was so easily pulled and thrown around. Enver Gortash isn't moved so easily.

(Until pre-tadpol Strike rolls around with his STR22 and sweeps him off of his feet, that is)

 Thinkin of lil Robin and all of them being very fluffy with like, almost down mixed with fur and softer larvae-like chitin. Way softer than Bruce’s chitin that can take some ridiculously solid hits before cracking. Bruce gets so stressed when Dick gets his secondary body because like?? Small child with?? Large blade?? On the end of a tail?? And long claws??? This kid is like, nine at most and has very sharp blades now that can’t be taken away. He’s so very stressed. 

 I like to think the robins all vary in size by like a few inches but they’re all child-sized just so they can sneak around easily and hide in the Bat’s back. Plus then Bruce can pluck them up whenever they decide to try and sneak out or attack someone lol

As an avid D&D player and DM, I love this magic system you've created so much- bc it means that necromancy exists like it does in D&D, but because David is David (TM), he just goes "yeah, but yk what would make this better? Puppets." and just is flying by the seat of his pants trying to create a fusion of DIY crafts and reanimation. he even could be inadvertendly creating an entirely new form of magic while messing around with the Book and his puppetry, but no one will ever know bc he just wants to play around with his little flesh puppets instead of, idk, sitting down and writing an actual grimoire/codex on it and i love him so much for that <3

Really tho!! This is the closest anyone has ever come come to actual reanimation in this universe, not just souless zombies or possessed lamps, real breathing creatures with the souls of people and working innards to back it up! And he's not even writing it down!

I can't do much productively during the heat wave/health issue flare up/etc. like work on my games or anything where I have to sit at the computer/type for long periods of time, BUT.. I did passively sculpt a few tiny foods lol. I wanted to do one of my bigger usual sculptures, but those take so much more time and concentration, I thought something small just to keep my hands busy would be better.. close up photos look kind of weird and blurry from my camera settings or something, but overall they came out okay, especially in person.. Nearly the only reason I ever wanted to buy dolls as a kid was to get my hands on the miniature foods and plates and stuff that came with them, I've always just been obsessed with small versions of things like that, so.. why not make some! lol

I woke up this morning from the weirdest this-fandom related dream ever. So, in my dream, Vash and Wolfwood were sitting by a campfire and griddle talking about weird meats. They had some weird meats with them, as in meats from different animals that they were planning on cooking and eating. Vash drew out a plastic wrapped package (vacuum pack, looked like my local store brand) that looked like a pork chop, but declared that it was, in fact, human meat. He'd gotten it from a little post-apocalyptic Noman's Land shop that specialised in such things. He said that, as a Plant, he wanted to try it to see if he was compatible for eating human. Dream!Vash? What the actual FUCK?!!! And so unwrapped it and put it on the griddle and creeped out Wolfwood, but Wolfwood understood. Something like that. And then I flashed back into my body. This entire scenario was one that I was writing as a fanfic on a public counter in some kind of cafeteria at an anime convention. Above it, appearing almost immediately, was a fancomic someone else did on the upright part of the counter that recounted the events of my fanfiction (a fancomic of my fanfiction) except that whoever did it made it more Vashwood than I had intended my story, ending it with Vash and Wolfwood kissing. At the same time, I was thinking "My fanfic doesn't deserve this, it's not that good. It's not like Sin Eaters by dragonofeternal, which has a similar theme done much better." Yes, I was literally thinking of a real fic I'd read in my dream! I commented aloud on the comic that "This is more Vashwood than I'd intended, but I'll take it." As in, it's not really my ship, no one that I see as canon, but I like people in fandom shipping whatever they like and I enjoy Vashwood when it's done well and makes sense, which it kinda did in this fancomic even though it was inspired by my fanfic, which hadn't gone in that direction. Cue some snotty twenty-something with blueish purple dyed long pigtails and a Goth look sitting around nearby looking at all of this informing me "Vashwood is canon." and I said "No it's not." And she argued that she'd read some very obscure comic where it was - and it turns out we had both, by then, shifted into Batman fandom and she was referencing some obscure storyline in which Batman and Robin had fucked like animals. I further argued that I was going by a very specific canon (ala, "Batman the Animated Series" - which was somehow Trigun now), but concededed that while I wasn't as much into the deep lore of the comics, that I wouldn't be surprised if Batman/Robn (Vash and Batman now? Huh?) was canon in some form. Brain.... what are you doing?

yknow it is crazy to think about how much i have been able to improve my quality of life by selling art as a supplementary form of income. like obviously it's a second job and it's taxing but it's also so rewarding to know how much people enjoy my work and how much good it is doing me to like, feel like i can buy snacks at the store. to be able to get takeout every once in a while. like obviously those are extremely minor changes or things most people take for granted but to me it's huge. having berries in the house when they're out of season and more expensive. buying things for CONVENIENCE??! it feels so crazy to me to have such a sense of luxury which i know says more about the bleak feeling of poverty that's followed me around my entire adult life than anything else but i feel so much gratitude that i am afforded these small luxuries at least in part because of people that like my art. not to mention how nice is is to make things consistently again when, prior to 2020, i hadn't made art regularly in almost a decade. anyway. it's cool!

I literally have no idea how to properly introduce myself to this website so here’s so Jazmin hotel doodles and a drawing I did recently of my OC as sacrifice! I’ve stalked this site from a distant for years (aka through Pinterest) but never had the opportunity to make an account until now. I’m a multi-fandom artist who likes to role-play and draw my silly little characters smooching other silly little canon characters (I know, cringe💀). My art-style and fixations might fluctuate a lot, and I may or may not disappear off of the face of the wart for a while only to re-appear like 5 months later with 50 different pieces and posts, but I’ll try my best to be consistent! I don’t expect to get a big following, but it would be nice to find some friends who share similar interests to me! i think it would've been soo much funnier if human first contact had been with the krogan. genuinely don't think it would've come to war with them. i just picture some alliance frigate crashlanding on tuchanka after going through a relay for the first time, turning its primitive guns to dust, and being found by like... one of the more level headed clans whose scouts just go look at wtf happened and they get very defensive at first because what if those weird mutant pyjaks are spies from the stg? what if they were sent to tuchanka to spread disease or something even worse than the genophage? but as soon as its clear that they can't understand a word of what they are saying they would get one of their own to call like. an asari ex gf to tell her about the stupid weird aliens that just landed on their planet. to see if she can maybe get them to go away?

Just had the fun idea of the batfam having water bottles full of lazarus water that they carry around and like, them customizing them. Drawing on the metal in Damian's case, covering them in stickers in both Tim's and Steph's case, weaving a hand warmer for the handle, etc Just each of them having their own thermos of sorts for patrol and missions with the Justice League outside of Gotham.
