Dolores makes me go insane actually. Five projected all his tenderness onto her so that he could focus on surviving. She was the softest side of him. He absolutely cannot accept that it IS him. He finally lets her go in s1, symbolically ready to move on from the apocalypse, reclaim some of himself that he lost - except the apocalypse isn't ready to let him go. For as long as there is an apocalypse, there needs to be a Dolores for him to survive. She is his coping mechanism, maybe even an unhealthy one, but he can't let her go unless he was SURE the apocalypse was over.

Except that's the thing. How can he ever be sure that it's over? Maybe he can't. Maybe he's never letting her go.

so growing up my family would frequently make a sandwich consisting of: bananas and mayonnaise (and sometimes peanut butter) which I thought was gross but Normal, at least until a couple of months ago when I causally mentioned it to a friend who thought I was fucking with him and to my horror I realized I was having another case of “you live in a southern bubble where everything you assume to be normal (albeit gross and weird), is, in fact, Not Normal”. I even confirmed with my roommates that their family members and other people they know also make banana and mayonnaise sandwiches therefore it’s like provably not just some weird ass thing my family specifically does but is unfortunately another weird ass thing that people in the south (allegedly) do
