Shadow and Sonic technically lost at least 3 babies (or well stillborns) this is insane , I genuinely feel so bad for them omg

You know, it wouldn't really be something Shadow would actually think about until he'd gotten attached to Stellar.

He'd reflect on the fact that, technically, he and Sonic had a whole litter of pups that neither of them ever got to meet. He never planned to have children nor did he want any, but Stellar coming into his life would bring him joy that he never really knew he could feel. It'd make him wonder if they all would have been as wonderful as her if they had gotten the chance to grow up.

He'd feel a particular sense of sadness when Stellar asked if she could ever have a sibling, even if he wouldn't let it show. Stellar doesn't know she had lab siblings, and Shadow would prefer that she didn't know.

He does eventually confide in Sonic about it, though! Mainly as a way of getting his perspective on it, as Sonic has a way of keeping calm and carrying on that he envies greatly. Sonic, ever the optimist, would just say he was grateful that despite all odds, they still got to have Stellar in their lives. Shadow certainly can't argue with that!

silly little main character!!!1! its name is Shader and contrary to popular belief, it is NOT a fankid. it's *looks at the au name* a fusion between Shadow and Silver. in this au i adopted the hc that they share dna. so like y'know it makes sense it'd be easy to fuse them.

BUT WHY ?!?!?!? WHY?!?!? because. something something motives influence etcetera. i don't wanna say anything yet just in case someone is actually interested in this..... giggles.

That previous post reminded me of an old AU I played around with for a second. It's called Sonic Rebirth and used to be part of my Sonic-verse! Not anymore though.

(Inerste is a concept thought up in that YT video I was talking about. Can't remember who made it.)

So in this AU, the Duke of Soleana is alive in the present day and during that big parade thing in 06 (Called the Rite of Rebirth here), he splits Solaris apart in an attempt to bring his wife back. Each of the three pieces of Solaris seek refuge inside each of the Triple S Trio hogs. Mephiles possesses Sonic, Iblis possesses Silver, and Inerste possesses Shadow. The Duke is killed and the power to reforge Solaris is given to Elise (but they don't know this until later).

I've got notes for this AU past that, but mostly what you should know is Sonic and Elise are searching for answers while Mephiles keeps taking control of Sonic's body as he tries to find and merge with Iblis, Silver keeps loosing control of Iblis and going on fiery rampages as Blaze tries to help him, and Inerste is the only one here who's actually good and just wants to reunite with Mephiles and Iblis and also help Shadow open up and acknowledge his emotions.

(Also should be noted in this AU that if Mephiles and Iblis reunite without Inerste there, they will be come a husk of Solaris bent on destruction, with no regard for humanity. Inerste is what gives Solaris his emotions, his compassion, his heart. If it's only Mephiles and Iblis, Solaris will have nothing holding him back from destroying everything in revenge, which is what Mephiles wants.)

Oh, for sure! Being raised in a positive environment where they aren't pitted against one another would really bring out their best traits. 😁

Void

Eldest brother

Still has low empathy, but is better at relating to others and putting himself in their shoes.

Very logical. Thinks things through far more than his siblings. That being said, he is extremely impulsive when emotional.

The most morally gray out of his siblings, but is still considered a "hero". Shadow worries he is only playing the hero role because it gives him an excuse to fight.

... He really does like fighting.

Definitely the one to suggest murder before anyone else.

Bumps heads with Shadow. Shadow sees a lot of the things he doesn't like about himself in Void, and projects a lot of his personal baggage onto him.

Closer to Sonic, finds his presence to be calming and enjoyable. Sonic knows how to handle Shadow, and therefore better understands how to handle Void.

Patient, protective, but blunt. Will almost ALWAYS tell someone the cold, hard truth, even if it hurts them. There have been many times he's made one of his siblings cry for being "too mean." He doesn't see it that way.

The quietest and least disruptive of his siblings. Spends a lot of time reading.

Andromeda

Eldest sister

Can come across as bratty or vain, but loves her family deeply. Often can't decide if they are the most annoying people in the world, or her favorite.

Still very much a moody teenager, but the normal, non-traumatized amount.

Would be that pretty, popular older sister that Stellar wishes she was more like.

Prefers to stay out of fights, despite her power. Values her appearance greatly and would rather her perfectly preened quills didn't get disturbed. That being said, she has an explosive temper, and won't shy away from punching it out with someone who pisses her off.

Gets along great with Shadow for the most part, but when they disagree, their fights are infamously explosive. Sonic can do little to defuse an argument between the two of them once it has started, so he usually tells the other kids to make some popcorn.

That being said, she, Shadow, and Stellar would often go shopping or to the spa together!

Sonic, on the other hand, would be her favorite dad to chill and watch movies with!

Very protective of her siblings. That type of girl to tease and make fun of her family, but immediately turn on anyone else who does. Those are HER idiots, dammit!

Polarity

Youngest brother (but still older than Stellar!!)

Playful, witty, and clever. No one thinks of faster comebacks than he does!

A LOT like Sonic, but with a softer edge. Has less of his bold-faced confidence.

Sporty and active, but also a huge nerd. LOVES comic books!

Fastest runner out of his siblings, period.

Due to having a lot of the same interests, Sonic and Polarity would spend a lot of time together! The two of them would have a lot of inside jokes and running bits. Polarity would want to be just like him!

The most eager to be a great hero out of his siblings.

Despite his closeness with Sonic, he is not missing any love from Shadow. It would seem that all the things Shadow likes about Sonic, he likes about Polarity. Shadow clearly has a favorite between his two sons.

Polarity and Stellar are the only two people who know how to make Shadow laugh consistently.

Polarity and Stellar are also the most alike among the siblings! The two of them are super close. Unfortunately for Polarity, being around Stellar seems to make him dumber. There is only one brain cell between the two of them when they are left to their own devices.

His antagonistic relationship with Void isn't present here! The two of them get along fine, even if Polarity isn't particularly close to him. If anything, he wishes the two of them did more stuff together.

Don't mind me just ranting about hyperfixations.

Okay, I don't like how alot of my hyperfixations have joined forces to bash my head in nowadays. Like since late 2022 to the start of 2023 I went from Sonic Prime to Generation loss to ROTTMNT, FNAF, Welcome Home, Amanda the adventurer, and so much more that I can remember and right now the exact same thing is happening.

It's like a hyperfixation overload. I'm in the middle of RC9GN while still hanging onto TMNT and checking in every now and then to Mortal Kombat (11 and 1) and finally topping it off with Sonic the hedgehog and Poppy Playtime again.

I can multi-task yeah, but my brain can only handle so much silly fun times and bright colour's with a dash of angst :(

Sonic Headcanon

MEET KAI KANDY KAT! (yes that's her full government name), and as you can see she has two versions: A sonic version and a "human" version (the quotes will make sense in a bit). She obviously has two different lores because of that. She's a happy-go-lucky hyperactive cheerful gal who's always TOO positive. Rarely seen in any other mood besides happy.

SONIC LORE: Simply put, she runs a bakery in Empire City & is just wants to bake for others. She has a magical whisker that can change sizes, be it for regular use or swatting away robots if they try to break into her place. She CANNOT swim.

"HUMAN" LORE: She's an alien who comes from a donut-shaped planet where sweets are sentient. They wanna take over the world as revenge for sweets being eaten. She wants nothing with world domination cause she's silly so she gets kicked out of the planet and exiled onto earth. The cat girl look is what she chooses to look like based on cat girl cartoons she found cool. She actually looks like a cake dough blob with a lot of sweets and desserts mixed in there. She has her whisker to keep her safe. She also can't swim, because water can actually kill her. yes, her body's edible.
