𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐆… 𝐌𝐘 𝐌*𝐀*𝐒*𝐇 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑, 𝐒𝐎𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐀 𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐎𝐒

❝ When Sophia had first signed up to be part of the USO, one of the many pretty girls singing and dancing on tiny stages to give the brave boys fighting in Korea some much-needed cheering up, she couldn't have imagined wanting to do anything else. After all, she'd been trying to get in as a chorus girl on Broadway for years, intent on pursuing her childhood dreams of dancing and singing under the blinding lights of the Great White Way, but as a poor kid from Washington Heights who was more often than not deemed too “exotic” for your average Broadway ensemble, she figured working in the USO would be the closest she could get. Besides, volunteering for her own kind of service overseas was also a perfect excuse to escape the recent breaking-off of her engagement and the whispers of her social circle surrounding her and her ex-fiancé, so she really couldn’t have imagined a better opportunity to have presented itself at that particular time.

But when, only a few months into Sophia’s USO tenure, the Army sends out a call for more nurses for their M*A*S*H units, she decides to do some good that doesn't involve singing the same old tired standards, putting the hours she'd spent watching her tía work as a nurse to good use by volunteering to become one herself. Granted, she doesn’t have one lick of actual practical experience beyond occasionally helping her tía with a home birth in tiny Washington Heights apartments, but Sophia likes to think that the same good memory that has allowed her to remember hundreds of song lyrics and dance steps has also allowed her to retain proper first aid techniques and which surgical instruments are the correct ones to hand to the surgeons when they ask for them. And either way, the Army is low on nurses and surprisingly willing to overlook a lack of an actual degree to get them - and so, after only a few months as a USO girl, newly minted Lieutenant Sophia Ramos breezes into the M*A*S*H encampment serving as her new home armed with her trademark collection of brightly-coloured dresses, red lipstick, and charming wit combined with a sharp tongue, feeling prepared to take on any challenge that this new profession might throw her way.

But nothing in the world could prepare her for what she experiences when she's assigned to the 4077th - two chaotic doctors who love nothing more than getting a rise out of their stuck-up bunkmate (whom Sophia befriends almost immediately), a bumbling commanding officer who usually leaves his psychic clerk to run the camp, a corpsman whose taste in dresses is almost as good as hers... and a sweet chaplain with cute glasses and a sweet smile, who brightens up Sophia's world in ways she'd never imagined could be done. Father Mulcahy is gentle, compassionate, and the perfect dose of calm to Sophia’s usual bright tornado, and despite the way Sophia has settled into the 4077th since arriving, becoming liked by everyone (except for one Frank Burns, but really, who cared what he thought) and even striking up an unlikely friendship with the camp’s strict-minded head nurse, all it ever takes is one late-night conversation or shy smile from the chaplain to unsettle her in a way she isn’t entirely sure she doesn’t like.

The Father - or Francis, as he eventually insists Sophia call him - is Sophia’s perfect man in so many ways: understanding, attentive, and unlike so many men she has met, sharing a disinterest in the kind of intimacy Sophia has never been willing to give. Yet due to their respective positions and the vows he made years ago, actually confessing how she feels to him feels all but impossible, especially when Sophia is convinced that the God she has also been raised to believe in will ever forgive her for the love she feels for a man He has already claimed.

Little does she know, Francis feels the exact same way about her, and has been having similar worries about what the Holy Father might think about these feelings. But eventually, attractions are confessed and the two enter into a secret, deeply loving and caring relationship… and eventually, they both have to wonder whether the two of them meeting and falling in love with each other, two stars passing in orbit at exactly the right time, was not part of God’s divine plan after all. ❞

Veio de família relativamente bem de vida. Os pais passavam mais tempo envolvidos com a própria vida do que criando os filhos.

Chamou a atenção de várias universidades quando fraudou o SAT aos 13 anos de idade. Mas a mãe achou que era muita audácia de uma criança de 13 anos entrar na faculdade dessa forma.

Riley escolheu a UCLA por conta da variedade de cursos, já que elu não sabia direito o que queria, mas aprontava mais do que tudo no campus

Já passou por tudo quanto é curso. Desde artes cênicas até engenharia. Acabou decidindo por Física por sua obsessão por viagens no tempo. Seu ramo de estudo é teoria das cordas e do multiverso.

Quase não se formou por por conta de um video delu fumando maconha.

Dizem no departamento de física que Riley é autista, neurodivergente e todo o tipo de coisa pra justificar seu comportamento errático, mas elu é só um mala sem alça que faz e fala o que dá na telha.

Foi professor e pesquisador da UCLA até 2020, quando foi demitide. Sua obsessão foi responsável por quase falir o Departamento de Física em uma expedição no Alaska para provar que existia um Buraco de Minhoca rudimentar no Estreito de Bering e no final era só uma leitura errada causada por um transmissor de rádio russo mal calibrado.

Nos últimos anos acabou ficando responsável pela oficina do pai, que é de onde a família tira todo o dinheiro hoje em dia e ainda dá aulas de física na Berverly Hills High porque ainda quer provar que sua teoria está certa.

Utiliza o negócio pra diversos tipos de atividades criminosas para manter o padrão de vida da mãe e dos irmãos mais novos que ainda estão na faculdade, além de financiar a própria pesquisa. Incluindo usar a oficina para lavar dinheiro e para os negócios de Jawie.

Mora numa van porque acha perda de tempo procurar um apartamento pra morar, sendo que elu passa a maior parte do tempo na oficina, numa sala de aula ou no laboratório da escola, tentando provar sua teoria.

Com a volta pra 2014, sua aparência mudou mais do que esperava o que indica pra elu que algo aconteceu com seus pais pra algo assim ter acontecido

Guarda rancor de seus pais por não lhe darem a chance de tomar suas próprias decisões, porém seu pai é o maior responsável pelo seu sofrimento. Não o vê pessoalmente desde que entrou para a academia.

Possui uma boa relação com todos os seus sete irmãos, porém Sophia tinha uma conexão especial com sua falecida irmã, talvez por ser a única garota além dela. Ainda guarda consigo um broche que a irmã esqueceu no convento na última vez que se viram.

Por toda a vida os livros foram sua válvula de escape. Apesar de estar sob a rígida supervisão das freira e da madre superiora, era através deles que viajava para os lugares mais distantes, vivia as melhores aventuras. Tornou-se uma menina sonhadora, e almeja conhecer o mundo um dia.

Desde cedo Sophia teve uma aptidão artística. Ela ama desenhar e pintar em aquarela. Por isso ela possui um caderno de desenhos que carrega de cima a baixo, e várias de suas roupas são sujas de tinta.

Margaridas são suas flores favoritas, é quase uma obsessão. Decora seu quarto com alguns ramos dispostos na janela, e possui vários vestidos estampados com margaridas.

Leu a bíblia tantas vezes que já perdeu a conta, inclusive decorou grande parte dos versículos. Se tivesse uma prova sobre a bíblia, certeza que iria gabaritar!

Possui o hábito de rezar ao acordar, ao dormir e antes das refeições. Além disso, reza quando sente-se nervosa ou ansiosa, gosta de acreditar que Deus está sempre olhando para ela e passará por tudo em sua companhia.

O convento de onde veio tinha regras rígidas, por isso nem era permitida de desenvolver relações amorosas. Até então nunca namorou, e trocar beijos só em suas escapadas na calada da noite!

Sophia tem noção do principal motivo pelo qual foi enviada para a academia, porém tem pavor da ideia de se casar com um desconhecido! É romântica o suficiente para esperar pelo seu par perfeito, com quem passará o resto de sua vida.

Tem o desejo de fazer tatuagens pelo corpo, sempre achou lindo quando via quem tinha, porém nunca a permitiram de fazer. Que as irmãs do convento nunca saibam disso!

One of the oldest kids in Ares cabin, so she acts as an older sister to everyone. Gets a bit protective over Percy immediately and doesn’t approve of Clarisse bullying him at all.

Lydia Chen, Percy Jackson OC, Percy ship. Daughter of Apollo. A total theatre kid who’s a great singer and actress and wants to be on Broadway one day. Pretty much the only one to try and help Percy in his first week aside from Luke. Has a bit of healing ability, but can only fix minor cuts and scrapes. A bit dramatic, but still a sweetheart.

Eleleth, Supernatural OC, OC + OC ship. Girlfriend for my other Supernatural OC Via Winchester. Young dominion angel who comes to Earth with Castiel to teach Via about her own abilities and her role in the coming fight, and winds up falling in love with her. A bit uptight and doesn’t think much of humans, but she grows right along with Cas. Via considers her name “too fancy” and calls her Elle, with she hates right up until she doesn’t.

Morvant Bellatrix, One Piece live-action OC, Mihawk ship. Former assassin, of the all-female Fatale pirate crew. Known as the Siren of the East Blue because she has a Devil Fruit power that lets her inflict pain on people by singing a specific song (think kind of a dark Rapunzel). Basically unofficially adopts Luffy and the other Straw Hats and goes out of her way to keep bounty hunters and other pirates away from them. Mihawk takes one look at her torturing someone and immediately falls in love. She is cold and calculating but she also can and will kill for the people she cares about.

Yami Corvo, One Piece live-action OC, Shanks ship. One of the most deadly assassins in all four Blues. Has a Devil Fruit power that allows them to manipulate their own blood and make it into weapons (think Marie Moreau from Gen V). Tries and fails to kill Mihawk, but he takes a liking to them and offers to bring them along with him on his travels, which is how they meet Shanks, who takes one look at this feral assassin and instantly gets heart eyes. They are very much a golden retriever/black cat ship and it’s lovely.

Phoebe Mosley, The Magnificent Seven OC, Vasquez ship. Bounty hunter with incredible shooting skills who’s an old friend of Sam’s, so he recruits her to help protect Rose Creek. Closed-off and not receptive to Vasquez and Faraday’s flirting at first, but warms up to everyone on the team eventually and becomes besties with Billy. Name is inspired by Annie Oakley’s real name, Phoebe Ann Mosey.

Santiago “Tiago” Rojas, The Magnificent Seven OC, poly Goody + Billy ship. Outlaw wanted for the murder of a preacher he’d found to be abusing his children who helps Faraday out when he’s approached by the men he owes money to and receives the offer to help Rose Creek along with him. Eventually falls in love with Goody and Billy, but also becomes Spanish-speaking besties with Vasquez and good friends with Jack because they’re both religious. Very good with knives and an axe when he can get his hands on one.

Sophia Ramos, M*A*S*H OC, Father Mulcahy ship. Former USO girl and aspiring Broadway chorus girl who volunteers as a nurse when the army asks for more. A total girly girl who always wears makeup and her nice dresses whenever she doesn’t have to be in uniform. Incredibly cheery and playful, and often entertains the 4077th by singing and dancing to keep morale up. Becomes unexpected besties with Margaret, and just so happens to fall for the company priest along the way.

Anastasia “Ana” Upland, The Hunger Games OC, poly Katniss and Peeta ship. District 3, Career victor of the 72nd Hunger Games. Eagerly volunteered for her Games, but became disillusioned with the Capital after having to kill just to survive and win and sought out the rebellion after Katniss and Peeta’s victory. Gets to know Katniss and Peeta during the Quarter Quell Games and slowly falls in love with both of them as the rebellion progresses. Very closed-off and cold because she’s haunted by the things she’s seen and done, but fiercely loyal and would do anything for the people she cares about. Skilled with a variety of weapons, but best at close hand-to-hand combat.

Delilah “Lila” Wills, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen OC, poly Tom Sawyer + OC ship. Added to the relationship between Tom and my other OC Enola Holmes. Works as a secretary and assistant for Enola’s small detective business in London before she gets recruited by the League, and when the League comes back for another mission in London Enola convinces the other members to make her a part of the group. She and Enola were definitely something more than friends before, but when she sees Enola is with Tom she thinks she has no more chance until all three of them realize they’re all falling in love with each other. She also becomes besties with Skinner because they’re both crafty buggers with Cockney accents and a loose relationship with the law.
