I know this is a super short Drabble but I couldn’t help myself to just write something 😂 I also wrote this while half asleep so I’m so sorry if it makes no sense hahaha. note: the following gif is not mine - credits to the original creator (look at how grumpy he is in it LOL)

“It’s fine. Your hair isn’t anything at all like that fucking tangerine,” Kageyama scoffed, rolling his eyes at the mere thought.

You blinked up at him, hoping he’d come to the realization on his own. But it’s Kageyama so of course he didn’t. “Kags. We literally have the exact same shade of hair.”

Kageyama stared at you hard for a moment, squinting his eyes as if that would somehow help him see the colour better, “N-No! Yours is prettier! I mean, better!” Kageyama blurted out, his ears going pink.

You laughed shaking your head up at him, “It’s the same, babe!”

Kageyama couldn’t get this thought out of his head. He glared at Hinata nonstop that day at practice - how dare the tangerine ruin his partner’s hair, you were beautiful. So beautiful Kageyama literally had no words for it. But now knowing that you two shared a hair colour… Kageyama wondered if Hinata would ever shave his head if he suggested it.

You had to talk him out of this idea later, tears in your eyes as you laughed because you didn’t realize how upset your boyfriend would be over this. “It’s okay, Kags, I know you like my hair,” you insisted with a kiss to his cheek.

Kageyama sighed and just hugged you for a moment, still sulking, “Maybe it’s just his ugly face,” he decided after a moment. “Hair like yours should only be on the most perfect people. Not him, the clumsiest idiot out there.”

You laughed some more at just how childish your boyfriend could, patting his affectionately while he mumbles out some more insults for his volleyball partner.

“Better not ever call me a tangerine, Kageyama, I’ll kill you,” you stated after a while. His face goes red again and he quickly tries to shake his head.

“N-Never! I love you too much!” He stammered out, clutching you a little closer to his body.

You couldn’t help but hold back your giggles as you enjoyed being held by this tall dumbass. “I love you too Kags.”

"Momo's not gonna like this..."

"Whaddya mean?"

He glanced at his returned test and huffed at the red markings on the top left corner. "This." He flipped the page over to display to Hinata, who sucked the cold air through his teeth. The shorter boy nodded, agreeing with Tobio as he rolled his eyes and groaned with his head back.

"Well, it could always be worse, right?" Hinata reached with his pitch. He only earned a glare from his friend. "Yeah, yeah you're right. Sucks to be you I guess."

Tobio scoffed before grabbing the redhead and aggressively pushing him to the side, shoving the door of the classroom open and storming out.

He found them waiting for him outside on her phone, scrolling through an updated chapter she got excited about earlier. Their leg was bouncing as she laid against the wall with their fingers fiddling with her lips. He took a deep breath, his shoulders rising and falling dramatically before he took another step.

When she looked up, she smiled. The same smile she always offered him—content. It grew on him, he would smile too.

"Hey, how'd you do?" They asked, their voice recharging his very, very, very low battery.

"Uh...not well. I'm sorry." He closed his eyes before he could look at her reaction: empathy and understanding. He knew she knew what it was like to fail something, they knew exactly how he felt at that exact moment.

"Do you wanna study together?" They piped. "Maybe it'll help both of us, you know?"

He didn't hate the proposition, but he was nervous. What if she sees how stupid he really is? What if she thinks he's dumb? He only realized they could see the worry on his face when they put a hand on his shoulder and stroked her thumb across the fabric.

"It's to help the both of us, remember? Don't worry, I suck at a lot more than you'd think."

He finally nodded, glancing at the smile that grew upon her lips afterward.

"Awesome! Let's go to yours, yeah?"

"Yeah," he answered, sliding his rough fingers up her wrist to their fingertips on his shoulder, grabbing them and placing them beside him, weaving his fingers with theirs. "Let's go."

hello! i need help with an OC and i'm not really sure where else to ask this 😭

if anyone reading this wears or has worn a full time scoliosis brace, would they be willing to dm me so i can get some first-hand experience? one of my ocs wears a full time scoliosis brace but i have only had experience with nighttime providence braces so i don't know how other brace types feel, especially with daytime action

it's pretty much just a completely random chance that a human will get a gene that causes them to have a power! if two people with the gene have a kid then that kid is guaranteed to have one, but otherwise it's all up to fate. i call it the quintessential universe cuz it's gotten... really big by now ^^'
