hii! I have a request (again lol), kageyama, kenma and yamaguchi x reader (separate), i have acne and i'm really insecure about it, i've been trying to find the right products but I have really sensitive skin, how would they help/comfort me? sorry if it's too much:)

❅A/N : SO SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO MAKE THIS I was busy with some life stuff. As someone who had acne and was insecure about it, it’s okay to have them! It’s part of growing up and they’ll disappear eventually. Even if you have acne it doesn’t make you less of a beautiful person :D 

Kageyama

I feel he wouldn't notice your insecurities more so what made you insecure right away, he’s pretty dense

It’s also something that he’d see nothing wrong with

Though he will notice your sad expressions everytime you look into the mirror

He’d assume it would be something about your looks

Once you do voice your concerns he makes sure he’s all ears

He might not be the best at comforting you but he tries his best! 

Assures you that you’re beautiful no matter what and nothing will ever change what he thinks of you

Everytime you’re sad he’d constantly reassure you with compliments

He’d definitely try to find any kind of solutions to fix it he can’t handle seeing your sad expression or you degrading yourself over your looks

“I’m sure it’ll all go away” Kageyama reassured you with a smile as you touch your face

“I know but… I don’t like seeing them they make me feel y'know…” you confessed as your frown gets bigger softening the blue haired setter’s expression

“Nothing’s ever gonna change the fact that I see you as the most beautiful person in the world, you’re still my amazing partner who cheers me on at my games!” Kageyama expressed joyfully as he pulled you in for a tight embrace

“Thank you…” you hugged him tightly trying not to tear up from his comfort

Kenma

Being as perceptive as he is compared to the other two he’d definitely find out from the first few signs

He’d continue observing your behaviour before he acts especially if you won’t wanna admit it

Gives you lots of words of reassurance and always makes you feel beautiful

He’d also shower you with more affection and comfort

Though if you still feel sad about it he’d try to help you take your mind off it with games specifically the comfy kinda ones like stardew valley or animal crossing

 Just like the other two if you really feel uncomfortable with you acne he’d help you with solutions to fixing it

“Looks like you beat me again” Kenma smiled as he put down his controller looking at you

“You totally did that on purpose” you smiled softly “A guy who spends all his time on volleyball and games can’t lose so easily”

“It’s no fun winning all the time” he responded as he saw you looking at yourself through the reflection of the tv screen. You notice his stare and quickly look away before speaking up “S-sorry”.

“Don’t be” he moves closer to you before holding your hand “I just want you to know you’re beautiful no matter what alright?”

“Thank you” you smiled softly as he smiled back “Why don’t we have another rematch”

Yamaguchi

Out of the three I feel he’d be the most empathetic

 He’d be the most understanding as being also insecure he probably experienced those kind off things

He might even see himself in you when you share how it’s been affecting you

Tries to comfort you the best he can! I think he’d even use his personal experience of being insecure to help you

Expect whenever you feel insecure about them he’d give you endless reassurance and compliments

Would definitely give you more affection to cheer you up

“I know how it feels…” he spoke softly as he embraced you “But don’t let it get to you, you’re beautiful no matter what! If I got through it, so can you!” He expressed happily, his joy infected you making you smile 

“Thank you Yams” you embraced him back tightly making the green haired boy’s heart swell as he smiled brightly “I really needed that”

“No prob” he replied “If it makes you feel better why don’t we go out for ice cream!” He suggested making you smile as you nod

“Yeah I wouldn’t mind that”

Even though he’s spent years being a professional volleyball player, his hands were oh so gentle. From the way he held you close while sleeping, to the way he softly cupped your face, wiping away your tears, to the way he held your hand, brushing his thumb over your knuckles. that scene in season 1 where teruki hanazawa exorcises ekubo mid-sentence... and shigeo's eyes widen in shock?

i really want to talk about it, specifically the explosion meter accompanying it.

normally, when the teenager's emotions aren't obvious to the audience, that meter relays to us a sense of what he is actually feeling. but we cannot trust the meter here. we see it jump up a few points at teru's 'psycho wave' sending the sleazy ghost to the shadow realms, and remain steady at 50% upon shigeo's recollections of the spirit's unsavory nature. the boy outright tells teru that he isn't bothered. and it's funny!

but shigeo isn't being honest with himself here either.

his face briefly gives his feelings away before resettling into its normal flat affect. (to be fair, what he's really feeling isn't teru's business. this kid is trying to provoke a fight out of him, after all.) after he's basically tortured into exploding, shigeo spends three hours in the pouring rain, searching everywhere for ekubo.

three. hours.

these are not the actions of someone who isn't bothered. letting himself get drenched to the point of sickness,

even though he literally holds the power to shield himself from it,

reads to me like unconscious self-punishment for allowing all this to happen.

after a large chunk of his short life spent denying and fearing them for good reason, shigeo's first impulse is often not to use his psychic powers -- even after his integration at the story's end. i wish this was discussed more, because many watchers cannot fathom why this boy with world-breaking psychic abilities would ever refuse to use them.

also: the explosion meter lying to us / representing shigeo's detachment from his own emotions alexithymia may occur elsewhere in the series as well, especially when he's not close to an explosion; i'm reminded of the tiny dent ritsu's provocation of him makes in it a few episodes later.

a/n: this is a headcanon I came up with that I anonymously sent in another author’s inbox. I don’t remember who that author was so if you’re reading this, hi :). I’ve had this draft for a longgggg time so I’m glad I’m finally posting it. hope you like it

original headcanon:

when you began getting comfortable dating, you would push his hair up to kiss his forehead whenever you wanted to show him affection. now he has a pack of headbands he bought himself and puts one on and stares at you expectantly whenever he wants your attention 😭💕

kageyama tobio was not used to feeling like this. at least, not until he met you.

you with your soft smiles and encouraging eyes. you who never pressured him into anything he wasn’t ready to do. you who beamed when he grabbed your hand of his own accord for the first time. you who always knew when he needed your affection. sometimes though, it took you a little longer to pick up on it than he was willing to wait.

kageyama wasn’t good with words which is why your ability to read him was so beneficial to your relationship. when the two of you first got comfortable together, you stared at him until he nervously asked what was wrong. “can I kiss your forehead?”

he blinked before nodding with red cheeks, watching as you pushed his hair up and pressed a soft kiss to the center of his forehead. you pulled back with a grin, combing his hair back in place as he stared at you with a lovestruck expression, “again, please.”

with a laugh, you kissed it again, over and over as he asked every time you pulled away.

it wasn’t until after the first few instances of out-of-character behavior that you began to notice a pattern. every once in a while, you’d drag him with you to the bathroom. you would sit on the counter with his body slotted between your legs as you roped him into your skincare. the first time you tried it, you insisted on wearing matching headbands to hold back his bangs. the cute, furry bow made you giggle as he huffed loudly, eyes rolling and hands squeezing your hips gently. you decided to compensate for the slight embarrassment by covering his forehead in kisses, his face flushing as he lowered his chin for you to continue.

ever since then, this small step became part of the ritual. right before skincare, you’d slide his headband in place and his head would automatically lean down for you to pepper kisses on him again and again.

one day, you walked in to your shared apartment to find tobio sitting on the couch wearing one of the fluffy headbands you kept in the bathroom and looking at you almost expectedly. you giggled upon seeing him and immediately sped across the room to cup his cheeks, “what’s up with the headband, baby?”

he subconsciously nestled his face into your hands, “it’s easier to wash my face this way.”

you let out a hum of acknowledgement as you began covering his forehead in kisses. it was instinctual. how were you NOT supposed to kiss the part of him that was always covered the few times it became exposed?

this thought crossed your mind every time you came home to the sight of him gazing at you from across the room, waiting. the instances were always days apart so it wasn’t until he got a little too comfortable and wore it two days in a row that it clicked for you.

you shifted from your position on his lap, leaning back in your straddle to analyze his face. “tobio…” you started, suspiciously, “are you wearing these headbands on purpose?”

his eyes widened and his mouth opened and closed as a surprised, strangled sound came from his throat. with a wide grin, you brought his face to your lips once again, “that’s..” kiss, “so…” another kiss, “cute!”

his face heated up under your palms as he shook his head, refusing to look up at you. you continued your gentle assault on every inch of his bare skin until the heat radiating from him slowly dissipated and he sighed. you decided not to mention it again, opting to never bring up his shame. knowing tobio, he would want to burn every headband in the apartment and never speak of this again.

or so you thought. when you opened the door after work the next day, you found your boyfriend sitting on the couch with it on. his face was red, but he couldn’t hide his small smile as you ran towards him giggling.
