In a sort of odd spot rn because while I've never had a twitter account I'm also fairly new to tumblr since I joined like March(??) 2021 and started being active in May. But also starting a few months before that I was keeping up with historic tumblr phenomenons through Sarah Z and Izzzyzzz. And had also been making onceler miku jokes since October 2021. So idk where that places me within the tumblypoos.

I've been meaning to do a little end-of-the-year shoutout/love post for some of my favorite blogs, so I hope you don't mind if I use your ask as the perfect excuse!

I've had many fun years on tumblr, but this one has been extra special. Falling into the Good Omens fandom and meeting all of you amazing people has made this year so so SO much better than it otherwise would have been, so here are some special shoutouts (apologies, I'm sure this will get long, things like this tend to get away from me, so I'll put it under a read-more)

Hey there lovelies-- I've had 3 hrs sleep today so the words on the screen are starting to run together. I'm still getting love notes from yesterdays request, and thank you so much, I promise i'm catching up to the messages, you all are the best crew someone could ask for. Thank you for spreading some joy in this crazy ass world.

Tonight I would like to send a reminder that we have not lost OFMD, as so many of said, we still have 2 wonderful seasons, and those boyfriends are currently boinking their way into oblivion in their inn, making their poor customers insane. But beyond that... had a discussion today with multiple dear friends / crewmates that made me feel a lot better about the whole thing too. I know it's months in the gravy basket now, but this is not the end for OFMD. Chaos Dad told us it was over, but in all honesty it still doesn't feel over. WBD is driving itself into the ground, Dad's been off at the WBD lot, it feels like things are moving in a better direction again. It may not be today, or tomorrow, or even the next few months, or a year or so, but I think we still have a chance to see the ending of our story.

And we've all said it before, but it bears repeating, even if it never happens, we get to make it happen. Stede and Ed live on in all our crazy ranges of work out there, that so many of you have been just CRANKING out lately, I've been astonished at how much new work I've seen from folks in the the fandom I know, and new folks I haven't met! It's so inspiring to see OFMD affect people so much that they felt they could put little pieces of themselves out into the world through art of all mediums.

I hope I'm making sense at this point.. if not, sorry about that! But know-- there's always hope. There's always S1 and S2, and the infinite universes we get to dream up from those two.

Sights of Eorzea: A Quick Update!

First of all - sorry for the lull in posts about pretty things!

The team behind the Sights of Eorzea discord server has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to set up the space, and it's consuming a good chunk of my free time. With that said, much has been done - so here's a quick feature rundown, and a teaser of things to come!

Guides

Every single guide I've worked on so far is listed there, and you can filter by subject and type!

Places to go, Studios to visit

One of the most used features in the server, the gpose-location forum allows users to post their screenshots with location and search tags - so if you're hunting for that perfect spot, this is the place for you!

In the same forum, you can find Studios as well! They're categorized by physical data center (NA, EU, JP, and OCE) and residential zones, and if you have a studio you can create your own entry and let other people discover your amazing work!

In the works: External location database

In parallel, we are also preparing to launch an external website specifically designed for scene search! It will be in sync with the server's gpose-location forum, allowing external users to have access to the contributed entries and search by tags!

(I know, the interface is awful. It's a work in progress, Ok? ;))

We're also planning to have a map view of these entries, where you can look for different angles and perspectives!

In relation to this post and the incredible art by @floating-goblin-art (let me know if you don't want to be tagged in this and I'll fix it ♥), and my subsequent tags. Sorry Mal, I have a lot of thoughts about it.

Maybe they're not actually in there. Maybe they are. Maybe they're just stone. Monuments. Like graves. Not actual ghouls encased in whatever salt. That would be better. But Dew, honestly doesn't know. He was broken when it happened. Irreparably he thought. Sometimes he still thinks so. Especially on days when he wakes with a migraine, or an ache so deep in his bones he is sure it will never leave.

They're hidden away in a back room in the Abbey basement. Behind a door no one ever keeps locked. Maybe as a reminder in case anyone stumbles on them--this is what happens if you fail.

Dew still doesn't know why he isn't one of them. How he and Mountain and Aether escaped this fate and Ifrit and Zephyr didn't. They were all summoned by the same papa, in the same few weeks. It doesn't make sense, and trying to figure it out just makes Dew's head pound. It doesn't matter anyway. What matters is that Ifrit and Zephyr are in this dark room with Alpha and Pebble, and the first air ghoul who must have had a name but Dew never learned it. They're with Omega. Dew tries not to look at Omega--his face drawn towards grief and horror. Dew doesn't like to think about what he must have seen. Instead, he sits on the floor at Ifrit and Zephyr's feet. They're together. Close. There is something like resignation on Zephyrs face, acceptance. Ifrit, on the other hand, is frozen mid yell.

Dew can barely stand to look at him.

The floor is cold beneath his legs as he settles in. He leans his head against Ifrit's leg. Cold and solid and foreign in a way that makes his chest catch. It never gets easier. He keeps doing it anyway. He imagines warmth. Conjures some of his own just to make it feel real. He thinks of Ifrit reaching down to pet his hair. Of Zephyr sitting next to him, carding bitter tears off of his face with their thumb. "They summoned new ghouls today," Dew starts. Voice thin and wavering. He opens his eyes but doesn't look up. He encases himself in memory. Pretends they can hear him--all of them. But especially these two. "They're ok. I guess. Nice enough. Got a multi-ghoul this time so that's something. He's pretty too--Ifrit would be all over him." Dew's heart aches.

"We're going on tour soon so I won't be back for a while. But I promise I'll tell you everything about it when I get home." Dew always runs out of things to say before he's ready to leave. He presses his face against Ifrit's stony knee, reaches a hand up to brush over Zephyr's fingers. He closes his eyes, breathes them in like he hopes he can still catch the faint smell of them. Ginger and Snow. All he smells is salt and ash. "Miss you."

When you moved into the neighborhood, Wally was curious about the new neighbor. Everyone kept talking about how to make you feel welcomed. Eddie suggested they should throw you a welcome to the neighborhood party; everyone agreed and so everything was being planned. It was Wally’s job to keep you distracted so Wally invited you over to paint with them and have a good hot slice of apple pie. Which you happily agreed to. You weren’t a good artist like Wally was but you had fun painting pictures with him and drinking apple pie. The two of you would chat about things you enjoyed and dislike. Wally was surprised to find out that you were transmasc like him. This brought a smile to the little artist's face. And you were definitely taller than Wally but he didn’t mind most of the people in the neighborhood were taller than him.

Wally eventually got the text from Frank and he took you to the surprise Party. What joy you felt when everyone screamed your name and welcomed you to the neighborhood. There were games, music, and snacks. But that didn’t stop you from leaving Wally’s side and he was glad that you stayed by his side at the party and played the bobbing for apples game with him, danced with him, and enjoyed the snacks. You and Wally were stuck to each other like glue until the party ended and he walked you home. The two of you told each other goodnight, as you went into your house; Wally stood there feeling all warm and fuzzy. He never felt this way about anyone, he didn’t know how to describe but all he knew is he wanted to spend more time with you.

He likes to tell home about you. “ (Name) just really amazing, I like the way they laugh at my jokes and listen to me talk about the history of art. I want to spend more time with them and not just painting, I should invite them over for lunch. “ Wally said. House agreed with him so Wally wrote you a letter and made sure to have Eddie deliver the letter to you. The next day you received a blue envelope that had yellow star stickers on it and an apple sticker that closed the envelope. Your name written and your eyes stared at the from Wally. You smiled and opened the envelope, a lovely letter from Wally telling you that he wants to have lunch with you and when to show up if you are available along with his number. So you set down the letter and call Wally to let him know that you would gladly join him for lunch. “ Great Great, I’ll see you soon, neighbor. “ Wally said and the call ended.

The next day you got dressed and made sure to look presentable for Wally. Ever since you hung out with him, you couldn't stop thinking about the little blue haired artist. His voice always relaxed you, he made a delicious apple pie, and he was kind to you unlike your old neighbors. It was the reason why you moved. Everyone was accepting and kind to you, especially Wally. You felt something for Wally but not wanting to ruin your friendship you decided to just keep it to yourself until the time felt right. When you showed up to Wally’s place you were about to knock on the door as the flowers bloomed around you but before you could knock the door opened. You raised an eyebrow but stepped inside, it smelled great. “ (Name), I’m in the backyard! “ You heard Wally call out. You went to the backyard where Wally had beautifully decorated the table and set out a delicious meal and pitcher of strawberry lemonade and ice water.

Having lunch with Wally was nice. The two of you discussed how you both liked music or hobbies you both had. Wally told you about how the house was alive and that’s why the door opened for you earlier without Wally having to open it. You were amazed and thought it was really cool that his house was alive. Wally let out a nervous chuckle and agreed, deciding to change the subject Wally poured you a glass of lemonade and asked what do you know about autism, you tell him that you know a lot and have a few books on it because you were autistic. Wally almost dropped the glass but carefully set it down and tells you the reason he asked was because he was also autistic.

Everyday Wally was growing closer with you and so were his feelings for you. Same could be said about you. Everyone in the neighborhood soon caught on that you and Wally liked each other. Julie thought it was adorable and Sally also thought it was adorable. The only person Wally told about his feelings for you was Barnaby who encouraged him to ask you out. So it was settled Wally would ask you out tonight. And the only person who knew you had feelings for Wally was Poppy who encouraged you to ask him so it was settled you would ask out Wally tonight.

Wally was walking to your house and you were walking to his home. But you two meet each other both holding flowers and when you both realize what is going on. You share a laugh and both agree to go on a date with each other which would be a nice picnic and paint in the park. The date was fun and wonderful, Wally and you had a nice paint fight then helped clean each other off back your place, while you were scrubbing a splash of paint off Wally’s cheek, he leaned in and kissed you. Your body tensed up but you eventually kissed him back. It was official that Wally Darling became your boyfriend.

Dating Wally was a blast, he always sent you good morning text and goodnight text. He loved to make cute paintings of you or cuddle up next to you. “ (Name) wanna go mess with Howdy? “ He would ask. As much as you didn’t want to mess with Howdy you thought why not. Howdy ends up chasing you out of his store with a broom. Not only does he have to deal with a short blue pest but now he has to deal with you too, poor Howdy. You eventually come back and apologize to Howdy who accepts you apology but Wally just stands there like :3

Wally likes being the little spoon when you guys cuddle but he doesn’t mind being the big spoon if you want to be a little spoon. Wally likes to cuddle you in the bed, the couch, or when you guys are looking at the sky. Wally was the type of boyfriend to always surprise you with hugs, kisses, gestures, and sweet words. He likes to hold your hand when you both walk down the street. Whenever you guys argue Wally will apologize and so will you. The two of you will hug it out and go bake an apple pie. Wally Darling will always and forever adore you even Home has taken a liking to you as well.

Semantic Error | A Jeon Jungkook Series | Chapter 4

Based off of Semantic Error (bl) by J Soori Summary: Jungkook asks to spent time with y/n as friends Pairing: Techie inexperienced fem!reader x Artist fuck boy Jungkook Word Count: 1.2k~ Warnings: Nothing really, Jungkook is just being annoying and flirty a/n: This is just a tiny bite of the story since I haven't updated it in almost 5 days... oops. I'm spending time at my sister's house for the next few days but I should be able to work on posting more on Monday :) Read from the beginning

Days after my reconciliation with Jungkook I find myself thinking of the possibility of asking him if he would consider working on the game with me again but that would require me to swallow my pride. I'm not really in favor of that option so I decide to wait until he brings it up... if he brings it up.

I could always put up a flyer in the visual arts department asking if anyone would be interested in joining. I'm saying it here and now, I will never crawl back to him, if he sees that I'm still looking for a designer and ends up being interested then he can beg me to be a part of the project again. 

Either way as long as I get a new one by the end of the week then I don't care who I work with. As long as they have a good work ethic and their character design doesn't suck and they can keep to deadlines and... well maybe it might be a bit harder to find someone to fit the bill than I thought it would, knowing that people tend to be very unreliable and unpredictable creatures. I don't want to go through what I went through with Hana cancelling on me again. I guess the only way to really try to find someone is let people know about it.

Calculating all the pros and cons of what the result might be depending on my methods I decide fliers with my contact information would be my best bet. I'll just place it on some sort of bulletin board and hope for the best. If that doesn't work I'll resort to some sort of digital announcement. Opening the program I plan to use I notice that I've received a friend request on sns. Pulling it up I'm greeted with a follow request from Jungkook which I find strange but I accept it nonetheless. Soon after I get a DM from him in my inbox. 

'Hey pretty, I didn't realize you had social media, I guess this means we're friends now that we're following each other :)' I roll my eyes at his pathetic excuse at flirting.

'Last I checked you followed me, I haven't followed you yet' I say putting him in his place.

'Yet ;)' shit I should've just ignored him. 

'Come on y/n just follow me, I promise my account isn't some narcissistic blog or anything, plus next time we see each other I want to take a picture with you and post it! I like posting pictures of my friends!' he says and I can feel his smile through the phone and I roll my eyes at the thought.

'You have to ask for my consent before posting anything' I reply ultimately giving into him since there's no harm done with clicking a single button. 

'Okay I got it. Hey can we meet up in the library tomorrow? I wanted to spend some time with you. I know you end up spending a lot of time in there anyways so I just thought that maybe we could study together, especially since we taking Chinese together' he says waiting for my permission to give him another place to annoy me in.

'What makes you think I would want to study with you?' I say hoping to brush him off.

'y/n I'm your TA , I've see all of the work you've turned in' he teases.

'What's that supposed to mean?' I ask offended at what he's implying.

 'It means that you write like a child. Plus your accent when you speak isn't the best either. I could tutor you if you'd like ;)' he responds, simultaneously offering his help while also insulting me. 

'Pass' I say frustrated with his attitude.

'I'm sorry I didn't mean it, I just like thinking about what you might look like while you're responding to me. You probably have your brows pinched together looking utterly offended and maybe even blushing from embarrassment' 

'I'm not embarrassed!' I retort.

'Why don't you look in the mirror pretty, I've got you blushing without even being there don't I' I get up frustrated, determined to prove him wrong but to my disgust I see my cheeks with a light dusting of pink. 

'Fuck you' I reply indirectly confirming his suspicions.

"Anyway do you want to meet after the class you have after Chinese?' he suggests.

'Aren't you in that class too?' I question annoyed by the memory of him taking my spot for the second time that day.

'No I dropped the class, there was no way I was gonna stay in it and bring down my gpa, I just wanted to annoy you for a bit' he admits.

'Do you have another class after Chinese?' I ask curious as to what he'll do while I'm in class.

'Oh no I'm done for the day after that :)' he sends

'So you're just gonna wait around for me until my hour and a half class ends and then spend even more time studying together? Don't you have something better to do with your life?' I question, confused as to why he would do that. 

'Not really, I just wanna spend some time with you. I wanna be friends remember?' he send with no hesitation.

Is this what friends do for each other? Waste a whole day waiting for your class to finish just to then tutor them afterwards just because you want to 'spend time with them'?

'You Jeon Jungkook are an enigma' I respond not bothering to acknowledge his continued efforts to establish a friendship with me for some odd reason. 

'Thank you? Anyways what's your answer pretty?' he prods, not satisfied with my evasion of his proposition. 

'First off stop calling me that, second I'll be there from 3-6 are you prepared to stay for that long?' I question trying to get him to rescind his invitation. 

'Yep, I'll make sure to clear my schedule, see you then pretty ;)'

I groan audibly at his antics and close out the app. I guess this whole flyer situation can wait until tomorrow since he's given me a splitting headache from all of this. Who knows maybe he'll bring up the game tomorrow so I won't have to make them or swallow my pride, therefore making him come crawling back to me since he seems so eager to spend time with me. 

Taking a deep breath to clear my mind I decide to go to bed early to prepare myself for the mystery this is to be my day tomorrow. My days used to be the same week to week, month to month through out my life with minor changes to my class schedules since I've been in college but ever since Jeon Jungkook decided to walk into my life it has been anything but ordinary.

I'm used to scheduling things down to the very minute and that has worked well for me. It's set me up for success in my schooling but also as an adult. My life is what some people might call boring but I find peace in my calculated existence. Whereas Jeon Jungkook rolls with the punches and lives in chaos. My world is in black and white and his is in color, my life is routine and his life is creative. Why has someone like him taken an interest in me when I'm the exact opposite. Why can't he just leave me alone? I guess the real question I should be asking is why can't I get him out of my head?

It's been a while since my last one! Maybe because I decided to do these biweekly and skipped on an update post due to releasing the Chapter 1 Update.

(This post discusses a little about my stress, so if you don't want to see a somewhat negative post right now, please skip this 💖)

Hopped on simply to say that I'd been very excited to write Chapter 2 because a lot of the things happening would be an absolutely joy to write. I had initially decided to take a break for a week or two to celebrate, but couldn't stop thinking about writing it.

Unfortunately, projects and stress from my in real life work have come down crashing on me, and while I've finished them just a couple of days ago, I feel mentally unwell and overwhelmed by what happened, and am currently waiting on much-wanted news that is giving me a lot of anxiety.

Sorry for the downer post! 💕 I promise I'll be okay, and I'll be back to writing soon, hopefully by the next update post. :) This week has been seriously stressful, and it's hard to even feel good doing things I enjoy, even when I no longer have anything hanging over my head.

But, life goes on, and I don't want to lose the things I love and am passionate for; I'd only be miserable moping about it for so long.

I never make posts on here but I'm absolutely flabbergasted and gobsmacked by overwatch rn. I bought overwatch in 2016 for $60, and then $40 when overwatch 2 came out so I could play junkerqueen in the beta (not worth btw). I bought it for $40 knowing PVE wouldn't be out at launch but honestly I was fine with that, I just expected it by like next spring which is what they were saying on the roadmaps. Overwatch is old. Like old old at this point. Overwatch narrowly could have been made for the Xbox 360. A multibillion dollar company with 6 going on 7 years of experience with this game should know how many people you need on a dev team to ship the content they promised. But they've been BARELY able to keep up with the base multiplayer. Back in December roadhog was oppressively strong and they promised a hog rework soon™. Rework implies some pretty strong stuff right, like torb rework and symmetra rework were pretty huge. Instead what we got was a bandaid and a sorry excuse, which even then, the "rework" we got was delayed and delayed. This was a plague for months before the dev team did anything to remedy this. This is just one example of MANY broken and out of touch actions by the devs. A large chunk of the content they've promised has been delayed, buggy, a let down, and more. But for the last couple months I've been justifying it by thinking "oh it's fine though bc I'd imagine a lot of the team is working full time on the PVE. The PVE that's been showcased honestly looked great. Like I'd happily pay $40 to play that game. They had cool skill trees, mastery, neat concepts and progression very unique to ow2. Instead the devs released a game mode of an old 2CP map revamped to look like starwars (with really dope skins and cool art I'll give them that) and cancelled PVE as we know it. It's just so frustrating playing this game with absolutely no hope for content. Lifeweaver is a complete joke, the new shop took one of my favorite systems for earning items and cool bonuses and turned into one of the most prohibitively expensive jokes of a store I've ever seen.

Progress Update: 10/04/2023

Hello guy! Been a long time since I've done one of these or posted anything of substance (sorry) -- but I've decided I need to start doing these again. I'm hoping if I can set aside more time for TLH, Metanoia, Hollow, and a mysterious third thing, I'll be able to get updates out more frequently. So, I might have an update for you (which is good news!) but it's not chapter two (which is bad news...).

Chapter Two needs to be re-planned (but don't worry, it wasn't all scrapped!). I decided mid-way that I wasn't happy with the direction of it, and things in the game were happening too fast for my tastes. Don't worry though, I'll try to keep you guys posted as I progress through Chapter Two. I've also been juggling the idea of having a Patreon where I can post extra content and stream art and coding for my games. While I do have one made, it isn't published, and I don't want to post the link without having anything worthwhile to share. I've figured out all the details for it and will let you know what I've decided once there's a bit more to Chapter Two and Hollow.

Now then, the update!

I've essentially gone through and further fleshed out or removed some scenes that I felt hindered the story and/or prevented me from springboarding off of it properly into the chunk that needs to be written.

I know right now TLH is kinda of a 'Collection Simulator' where you can pick up a lot of things, but I promise it'll make sense later. Everything you collect, you collect for a reason and there are consequences to what you haven't taken and what you have. Chapter Two will show this and I hope you enjoy the 'little' interaction that comes from it!

I want to be super transparent and let you guys know that I haven't had a lot of time the last year for writing, and stress + depression made it hard to work on TLH. I wasn't enjoying it for a long time, but now I'm determined to really push forward because I do love TLH and I want to share it with people. I'm sorry again for how much I dropped the ball with updates and keeping you guys posted but I promise to try better from here on out.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck around so far and/or has expressed interest in my silly little game! It means the world to me and more! I hope to see you guys again soon, maybe by the end of this month (Halloween Update?!) with a small update as an apology!

A sketch! Also, an update on things

Okay, things seem set in place well enough… time for an update I think!

Sorry if I've been a bit absent from socials lately, I've been in the process of looking for and applying to a few local job opportunities. And… I got one, starting next monday.

This has honestly been long overdue. To quickly recap, I've been living on my own after moving from my home country for about a year and a half now. So far, I was able to sort things out with savings, commissions and the odd side job I managed to pick up along the way. However, I ran out of savings a good while ago, side jobs have not been enough and, while I love doing them, commission work has not been consistent enough to get by on its own.

So yeah, getting a stable job was, at this point, kind of a necessity. And I'm glad I could sort something out. The job in question is not something I'm particularly excited about (aka nothing art or design related), but it's good enough for now. And the pay is good enough for me to start saving up again. After things have settled well enough into pace, I'll be able to continue looking for better options as well.

What does this mean for me in terms of art and other creative projects? Well, hopefully I'll be able to handle my schedule so that I can still do art stuff on the side, but I won't be open for commissions as often as I used to, if at all. I just don't want to leave people in a wait list, or to risk burning out on art in what little time I'll be able to have for it. So I'll be pivoting more towards developing my characters, worldbuilding, a bit of writing, and a good pinch of fanart for whatever tickles my fancy for good measure. I may still do commissions from time to time, to treat myself to something nice or to cover unexpected expenses.

I'll be taking this remaining week to finish up commission work that's already been paid for, maybe a quick sketch or two, and then we'll see how the new work schedule treats me. If I can, I'll try to doodle and post more often, no promises yet though.

So yeah! That's about how things are going. I've honestly been quite a bit stressed about my current situation for a while, and now that I'll have a stable job things should start to stabilize and hopefully improve soon enough. Here's hoping everything goes well! I'll see y'all around~
