I wanted to request I need help for the upcoming NRC exam! Which is the 8th. In the last three exams I've reached an SS, the 5th being the highest with 96,294 and the 6th being the lowest with 91,935. I don't know if it's possible but I'm aiming for finally an SSS score T-T

These are the teams that I've used in the past and my current scores, as well as info about my cards:

Fire Basic: 18,955

Dorm Azul 95, 10/10. Robes Riddle 80, 5/5. Apple Epel, 10/10. Mask Idia 84, 7/10. Groom Ace, 9/10.

I've tried changing Robes Riddle for Dorm riddle, changing Dorm Azul/Groom Ace for a stronger one (all maxed 110) I tried using Halloween silver for his 3rd spell ;;

Water Basic: 18,145

Dorm Jack 88, 10/10. Dorm Leona 85, 10/10. Camp Ruggie 80, 5/8. Halloween Jade 80, 5/7. Dorm Azul 95, 10/10.

Other combinations that I've used, instead of Jade and Azul, I'd use Groom Idia and Lilia. I also tried using Leona's friend and adding beans Vil to my team.

Flora Defense: 20,339

Maxed Halloween Silver. Jade beans 80, 8/5. Dorm Idia 84, 10/10. Lab Kalim 80, 5/5. Robes Ortho 80, 7/5.

In the past I changed Idia and Ortho for Beans Vil and Floyd (maxed) the final score was 19,772

Void Defense: 18,288

Dorm Idia 80, 10/10. Dorm Azul 90, 10/10. Beans Jade 80, 7/5. Apple Epel 85, 10/10. Dorm Trey 107, 10/10.

One of the most difficult exams for me, Dorm Malleus hit hard, so I'll definitely work on it ;;

Omni Basic: 18,830

Here I would use a friend's Dorm Riddle, I also used Dorm Floyd 100

All the cards have their buddy levels maxed, except for Grimm and SSRs that have 1/1 spells, those only have their Duo magic buddy leveled up. As for SR, Halloween Lilia, Robes Riddle, Jamil and Kalim only have their HP buddy leveled up. Anyone besides them has their buddy magic maxed.

I can upgrade them if necessary, spells or level, I have the possibility to uncap 1 time and friends availability. And here's a summary of my current cards, all my SSR and my most used SR: I didn't want to work too much on them before hearing advice to not throw items.

I would get Camp Ruggie spells to max. Camp Ruggie does more damage when you stack his spells instead of activating his duo. Club Ace works to give Camp Ruggie his power buddy. If you can end on T3-2, you could get a higher score than adding in more duos.

This team should get you around 25k easily. I would also raise Beans Jade to Lvl 90 for the extra HP and heal. You could also use Masq Malleus instead of Dorm Idia.

hi mod zuzu, i'm the anon who asked for advice getting to SSS for omni basic! really appreciate you taking the time to reply, but unfortunately i still didn't make it... felt like i was really close one time (was finishing with riddle duo against flora on turn 4, enemy had 796 hp left) and the game crashed before scores could load lol i wish i was making this up 😭

in the future, unless i can maybe get dorm vil or smth, are there any options for improvement aside from uncapping one of my cards? im one ssr perfume short rn but i've been debating whether to go all in on dorm riddle and max him out to lv100 once i have enough or if it would be better to uncap someone else to lv85 instead. in the latter case, would you have any suggestions on who to focus on? im leaning towards either dorm azul or one of my event SSRs. thanks again, super grateful for all of your insight!

Aaaaa oh no 😭 I'm so sorry to hear that. The game crashing super hurts too. That has always been a huge fear of mine during exams. I've had instances where either I'm switching from wifi to data or the wifi gets weaker, so the screen would have a popup asking to reset or try loading again.

Honestly, Dorm Riddle, Dorm Leona, Dorm Azul, Robe Vil, and Robe Cater is enough to get you SSS. Obviously, getting Dorm Vil will really improve your chances since it's 4 duos and not 3, but aside from that, it's really all on rng. Your Dorm Riddle and Leona are at 10/10 magic already too.

Since your Dorm Riddle is already Lv.95, I'd personally lean towards uncapping him to 100! Usually, I'd advice prioritizing uncapping event SSRs since they are limited, but you would likely use Dorm Riddle a lot + he's already almost there. After him, though, you should uncap an event SSR that you know you're going to use more often. GM Ace is a pretty useful SSR to uncap, for example~.

If you want, there are plenty of teams that you can try out for Omni basic. Dorm Riddle, Dorm Azul, Halloween Jade, Dorm Leona, and Dorm Vil is a team that I've used a lot in Omni basic joint exams. Regularly, I like to use Dorm Riddle, Dorm Azul, Halloween Jade, Dorm Trey, and Dorm Cater. That way, my two strongest SSRs (Riddle and Azul) have their respective ATK buddies on team. Then of course, if you do manage to get all the needed cards, you can use the legendary team consisting of Dorm Rook, Epel, Leona, Vil, and Birthday Lilia. >:3c There really is a lot of combinations you can use for this team. It's really nice.

Since both Azuls will be really strong, exercise caution that you don't boost both of their spell 2. You might benefit from getting a max support Azul at around Lv.80-85 since higher levels might risk overkilling. There's no need to level up any magic. Beware of Idia's M2. Save it for the very last.

I actually managed to get an S on the first try when the exams were available! I never thought I'd get this far cries

I want to see if maybe this time I can push to SS rank if possible? I'd love to hit SSS rank at some point but I know I'm definitely not at that level yet dsffd I managed to raise my score to 86188 currently, Idk if it'll raise any bit more when I go to battle afterwards

Team composition and synergy I'm always really bad at but I'd like to think maybe I got a bit better since last time? Or at least maybe know which card to use I seem to always only able to do hp buddies much more n more easily than atk buddies fkjdsk

Idk what your current score for each element is, but here are some teams you can try out:

FIRE DEFENSE (7 or 6 buddies)

Dorm Jade (Water/Fire), HP buddy with Azul and ATK buddy with Trey

Silk Cater (Fire/Water), healer

Lab Idia (Water/Water), HP buddy with Cater and ATK buddy with Ortho

Dorm Trey (Water/Flora), healer + HP buddy with Cater OR Robe Ortho (Flora/Water), healer + HP buddy with Idia

Support Dorm Azul (Water/Water), healer + HP buddy with Idia and ATK buddy with Jade

When choosing between Trey and Ortho, use whichever you have at higher level or can get you to finish the battle on turn 5. Trey should have more HP with both Cater and Idia in team, but Ortho hits harder and heals more too. Also keep in mind that Trey buffs Jade and Ortho buffs Idia.

WATER DEFENSE (7 buddies)

Camp Ruggie (Water/Flora), HP buddy with Epel

SM Jade (Water/Flora), HP buddy with Azul + has debuff on M1

PE Epel (Flora/Flora), healer and HP buddy with Ruggie

I don’t think you’ll have any trouble with killing using this team, but you can also try Robe Ortho in Azul’s place. You lose 1 buddy, but get more DMG.

Beans Floyd (Flora/Fire), ATK buddy and DUO with Vil

Robe Azul (Null/Flora), ATK buddy with Floyd and Ruddle’s DUO partner

Robe Vil (Fire/Water), Floyd’s DUO partner

Support Dorm Riddle (Fire/Fire), ATK buddy with Cater and DUO with Azul

You can also keep using TsumTsum Leona in Cater’s place to add an extra DUO with Floyd, so check which will give you a better result: buffed Riddle or a 3rd DUO.
