#if i want the other future event rerun cards

As someone who hasn’t played the twst game very long I just got into it. I wanted to know about events? Like do some not come back? For example do the Masquerade, Port, Beanfest, Ghost bride, starsending events. Do those come back? I hear people say how they missed their chance to get this great card like as if it won’t ever come back and then someone on Reddit will say something like “Oh beanfest happened twice on the JP server” so which events have gotten reruns so far? I would ask about more recent ones like the Easter one but idk if it’s too recent to know if get rerun or if they clarify that it won’t come back? I was really sad to find out about the Silk outfits I missed out on when they visit the scalding sands. I also was really sad to find out i missed out on the anniversary cards because I didn’t play the game yet. I wish they would add the anniversary cards to the store at least…I want to be apart of the celebration :’)

I was looking in the shop and saw all the different groovy items you need to groovify event cards and this question just came to me so I had the urge to ask someone…

welcome to Twst! 🎉 it is a bit confusing to jump right into, especially because. they're not always consistent. :') it sounds like you're probably playing on Eng, which I'm less familiar with, but I'll try based on what I know! (I also don't always remember everything, so somebody please correct me if I get something wrong!)

first, I do recommend the Twst wiki.gg, which seems to stay pretty up-to-date on events for both the Eng and JP versions! it's a great resource for when you want to see if/when an event ran or rerun. in general, I believe that the Eng version only does reruns that have already happened in JP, so if JP has a rerun that hasn't happened yet in Eng, they should get it too eventually! on the other hand, I don't think either version has ever rerun an event more than once. :( BUT this doesn't mean you're entirely out of luck, because:

anniversary events (March for JP, January for Eng) will usually offer a chance to get both an older event SSR and an older birthday SSR in the shop, via buying a special item with exchange currency (which you get by doing pulls on the anniversary gacha, I think you need to do 100-150 pulls for enough currency to buy the item to exchange for an SSR). only SSRs though, and you're limited to one each (one birthday, one event). so if there's an SSR you REALLY want and it's already had its rerun, it's probably worth planning to save up some keys for!

as for actual reruns, they seem to come in a few different flavors:

straight-up rerun, no changes or extra cards

unchanged event story, with a new SSR of a character who wasn't in the story (e.g. Applepom Jamil)

slightly rewritten event story that includes a new SSR (e.g. Ghost Marriage, they don't seem to do this anymore though)

completely new event story that acts as either a sequel or alternate-universe version of the original (e.g. Beans Day part 2, Fairy Gala IF) (though this is pretty rare and might actually count as a separate event, rather than a rerun?)

Master Chef/Culinary Crucible events have never gotten reruns (though they might start now that we've finally gotten through all the characters in JP, time will tell). birthday and Halloween events will also rerun the previous version in addition to the new one -- for instance, Eng should be getting a Glorious Masquerade rerun this year, followed by the new (Playful Land) Halloween event. and a birthday campaign will, in addition to the new card, have a separate pickup for the previous year's birthday card.

for the specific ones you mentioned -- I think Beanfest, Ghost Bride, Fireworks, and Starsending have already rerun in Eng, so those most likely will not be rerun again (at least not anytime soon). Masquerade should be coming back for you guys this Halloween, and Portfest JUST got its rerun in JP, so that should be coming too sometime in the future! (no new SSR though, alas, I was really hoping for a little marching band sailor boy Leona. 😔) the Easter event is the White Rabbit Fest, right? that one hasn't gotten a rerun in JP yet either, so it's still on the table!

all that said, it's entirely possible they'll change the rules at some point and start doing more reruns/chances to get older event cards, especially since the game's been going on for a few years now and some cards haven't been available for a pretty long time! there's only one card that they said was for-realsies limited-time-only and wouldn't ever be available again -- Platinum Grim, since he was to celebrate the 100th anniversary -- so. there's always a little bit of hope for everything else. :D (fairy gala Ortho PLEASE COME BACK SOB)

A lot of people already have alts in lads and it certainly reduces the burden of grinding and pulling from a single account and is overall more wallet friendly. The only thing is, if you want the memories for combat as well then it doesn't help to get the event cards on alt and it's so frustrating to think about 🥲

Oh I totes gets it! I’m one of those dedicated players that has alt accounts in addition to a main one. My main is P2P, but my alts are completely F2P. Having experienced both sides of the spectrum I do know the struggles of farming diamonds, tackling trials, and having to prioritize/skip certain banners due to limited resources 🥲

My alts were made to focus around one love interest, respectively. I think other players did it like that too cause multi-character banners are the worst. I’m glad they added a bunch of new achievements and methods to earn diamonds in game, but once those ways are completely exhausted it heckin sucks..

Have strength though anonie~! FOMO is the worst and most dangerous for gacha players, but remember these limited time event banners will 100% have a rerun in the future. Wishing you luck on you pulls 🍀

thinking about it stresses me out and i can't explain it well but making the world link events take up an entire event slot instead of it running alongside a different event is such a horrible idea imo, especially if it takes this month's lim banner entirely. and i think it's impossible considering vbs's one is in january and there's the new years fes anyways? unless they make new years perm again like in 2021 but it's going to be so fucking annoying and predictable for any fan that's been waiting for a lim for a while, especially vsers because it basically confirms that the devs STILL aren't treating them like the actual characters and putting them in events with the ocs (let alone having to wait until AUGUST for more fucking lims, yea like we need another fucking one-year gap /s). its genuinely irritating for me if they end up deciding that and not making next event lim. plus it makes the next event from now only six days considering this gacha ends October 31st, and with the event gap, the event has to end November 5th or 6th. and this wl event lasts 12 days and no event has lasted either of those lengths in jp (not to mention the weird fucking chapter-by-chapter thing going on?). sorry for acting angry but i really am disappointed if this ends up being the case without any fucking warning it makes no sense!

yeah the WL event just feels like it needs some work. obviously this is the first one so there's gonna be some problems here and there but this feels like it's pretty messily put together, even for a first run. i understand it taking an event slot because otherwise you'd have to tier two separate events at the same time and that'd just be difficult, but just the sheer amount of time it takes up is too much. maybe shorten the chapters to 2 days from 3, 12 days is too long. it's just gonna be really draining and a pain in the ass to tier, plus it makes the event before it really short. like seriously, 7 days for the MMJ event? i mean the current event is only 8 but normally cheerful carnivals last about 10 because of the format. i mean MMJ wouldn't perform as well as a N25 banner anyway so maybe they're just throwing the 7 day event on them for testing purposes.

since VBS is directly after new year colofes+lims I'm guessing WL lims don't count as actual lims. maybe they don't have hairstyles, i mean they said about MR2 unlocking special cut-ins, so maybe they do that instead of hairstyles. i wonder if they'll be like a bday card where they have their own rarity or something because if the game is willing to run them directly after a fes banner they can't be all that rare? maybe they reappear on future WL events like how all fes cards are on every colofes banner.

i get the feeling that the WL event won't have a specific character focus. they didn't announce a song other than the 3rd anniversary campaign one, so unless they're deciding to count that as Kanade's 4th comm then it doesn't look like this has a specific focus. well, apparently each part of the event/story is focused on a different character so that makes sense I guess. also the 3rd anni campaign commissions are meant to release monthly, and these events are getting dragged out until well past when all unit will've gotten their comm.

i think a lot of adjustments are gonna have to be made to the event starting from the VBS one. like the whole thing feels messy right now. and maybe it's because they haven't really told us a whole lot about how it works still, but there's obvious problems from the get-go like the duration and the amount of gacha cards on top of the fact they're now rerunning 3 lim gachas at a time. how badly does this game want our money they earn way more than any other idol game on the market.

Hello sorry to bother you, but I have a question and you're the resident Twisted Wonderland expert; do you have any idea if the events rerun more than once? I really wanted Suitor Suit Idia but didn't get anything both times T^T. Also do the Clubwear banners ever return, that you know of? Is Clubwear Cater lost forever?

Ahhh, you flatter me!! 😖💦 If it feels like I somehow know a lot, it’s because TWST is my hyperfixation and takes up like 99.9% of the real estate in my brain folds…

As for your questions!! TWST is a game that’s only 3.5 years old for JP and 1.5 years old for EN; I would day it’s still way too early in its “life cycle” to be able to accurately predict what the devs plan to do for reruns, if at all.

Most other gacha games only do 1 rerun and once that rerun has passed, that’s it. Very rarely, there are systems implemented where you can go back and replay old limited time events at your leisure (I personally only know of one gacha game that does this). The devs are usually not “nice” enough to grant this kind of thing, as the limited nature of the events is meant to incentivize playing during those periods. It does not usually benefit them to extend that time.

I do want to point out that sometimes there are other ways to get limited time cards outside of events/event banners; for example, during TWST’s anniversary (March for JP, January for EN), they run a campaign where rolling a certain number of times on a special anniversary banner earns you tokens. 1 roll = 1 token. These tokens can then be traded in for a key to a limited time card in Sam’s shop, but I believe the selection is subject to change. I think Suitor Suit Idia was able to be traded for in 2022, but he may not return in the future. Please note that in order to have enough token to even trade in for the SSR of your choice (from a predetermined list), you’d need at LEAST 150 rolls/tokens.

Clubwears are very similar in this regard; we have yet to cycle through all of the clubs so I don’t think we’ll get reruns of the Clubwear banners (if at all) until all Clubwears have been released. (For reference, we’ve only gotten Light/Pop Music, Basketball, Science, and now Track and Field with Deuce still yet to be released.) Of course, there’s always the possibility that you could trade in a limited SSR key for a desired Clubwear IF TWST chooses to offer them as an option in exchange for the special shop tokens I mentioned before. Again, I’m not a dev so I wouldn’t know if they’re considering this for the next anniversary or not.

Sorry if I'm remembering this wrongly, but I just downloaded JP twst at the end of the Lilo n Stitch event ( Just wanted to see if I could get the Lilia and Floyd cards <3 ) and Jamils birthday came in at the end with all 4 banners right? Like Birthday, Union, Broomquette and this White boy thingy but Ace only has the Broom one and the new white outfit? Does this mean in the future previous birthday cards will not be available anymore???

Jamil is the first character for the Birthday cards in JP. He only had the Broom and Platinum banners for his birthday. The Bday and Union cards did not rerun this year. Which means for all the other characters, they'll only have the Broom and Platinum banners for their birthday.

We don't know if or when they plan on rerunning the Bday or Union cards. You'll have to wait until Anni or Jamil's birthday next year to see if they'll rerun.

1. What got you interested the game? What kept you playing? - some leaked H scenes, now i'm still playing to find out the lore/story and see more H scenes

2- Who was your first SSR? -OG SSR Kuya!

3- Who’s on your home screen? Do you tend to stick to the same character/card or switch it up? Do you have Eiden onscreen with them? Currently SSR Aster + Eiden, i originally had OG SSR Kuya. haven't played the game long enough, but i think i'll be switching up on who i think is coolest at the time

4- Favorite character? -Kuya & Aster, closely followed by Garu, Rei, and Morvay

5- Favorite Eiden ship? -I think i'm a polyclan shipper, but I like Kuya/Eiden, Eiden/Garu, and Aster/Morvay's H scenes the most.

6- Favorite non-Eiden ship? oops, Aster/Morvay xD but I'd watch Morvay bang everyone. I also believe Quincy/Kuya is partially canon, but dont care about quincy so i dont actively seek out fan content about them.

7- Favorite territory of Klein? -No favorite territory. But maybe wood since thats where Kuya is from?

8- Favorite chapter? -oof, i'm torn between Rei's chapters and Kuya's chapter. but i also kinda hate them bc getting through the chapter boss fights WERE SUCH A PAIN IN THE BUTT. Ok technically Rei's should not have been that hard, but I was only building up 1 healer and 1 support. I didn't know i'd need several of them to beat his fight :(((

9- Favorite event? -GAMBLER'S PARADISE, and I'm really liking Misty Vale so far. Ok maybe I have recency bias xD but i really liked everything about Gambler's Paradise except for the high stakes stages which i couldn't clear story, the new SSRs, H scenes, eiden's outfit, the violence/gore in the event story, the horniness of the event story, the intimacy gifts, and how everything tied itself together. what the heck, it was such a well packaged. (Especially compared to Sunburst Festival and Chase the Rainbow's rerun, which are the only 2 other events I played)

10. Favorite original SSR? I think overall (battle stats + H scenes) Kuya, but Edmond (for battle stats) and Garu (for H scenes) are a close second.

11. Favorite event SSR? H scenes- Aster & Morvay, Outfits- Edmond slays in every outfit he has I swear. But also Maid Blade and A/B/O Garu? Hnnng. Battle stats- I have no idea, but I want the Kuya and Garu event SSRs

12. Favorite H scene? Oof, a tie between SSR Aster & Morvay. Warning that there is some dubcon/noncon in there, but if you ignore the dialogue, the voice acting and artwork is very yummy. A close second are Kuya's OG SSR and SR H scenes, but i KNOW i would love Kuya's Sunburst & Lakeside Spark H scenes if i had them- I've seen the screenshots. A/B/O Garu also seems to have very promising H scenes and I'm very excited to unlock EG Garu's scenes cause they look fun too.

13. Current level? 60... but none of my units are 60 yet xD

14. Most powerful unit? SR Morvay at 59 xD SR Yakumo is a close second at 56.

15. Least powerful unit? Probably all the cards i have that are still at level 1 (which is like 80% of my cards lol)

16. How many of your units have maxed out bonds, if any? I have maxed out SR morvay, SR aster, R yakumo. Then several cards that are at room 4.

17. Do you strategize & focus on gameplay, or are you just here for the spice? -I'm only here for the spice.... but I've spent significantly more time on strategizing instead :( I'm bummed out about that

18. Thoughts on the challenge events? (Sorcerer’s Trials, Lost Relics, etc) Uh I dont have strong enough teams to tackle anything higher than trial 29 on ST... I wish I could like them. Lost Relics looks particularly intimidating

19. What’s your favorite thing about the game overall? The H scenes xD And i guess the lore too. Rei & Garu's mysterious backstories are especially interesting to me. (I really like horribly traumatized characters lol)

20. Got any wishes for the future of the game? (Story, events, new characters, etc?)

ok so mostly a lot boring gameplay/gacha complaints that i've already seen like the pulls/energy/currency/etc. Buuut for fun wishes, I can't believe maid Blade is the only card with crossdressing! we need another one! Yakumo cooks & cleans! he should be in a maid dress at least once! Also more violence and gore! I dont know if there was any explicit murders before Gambler's Paradise, but as a huge horror fan, i loved that tiny glimpse of fictional violence. Also more *extreme* kinky activities! Nuca is surprisingly vanilla; we only get some glimpses of bondage or some sex toys here and there, so when Aster whipped out some tentacles, I was so so so excited. LIke I've seen the Kuya 4koma webcomics. He's a super kinky bastard- we should see it more. Currently the femboy possibly trans twink is more sadistic than Kuya is. C'mon, its a porn game, there should be more porn in it. Speaking of Aster, I hope there's something somewhere hidden confirming that he's trans. Too many signs point to it, but i still see denial. Also I'm not into big guys or DILFs, but Aster said he has an old-man form, and I know there's a subsection that would go wild over DILF Aster. (Especially traaans DILF Aster maybe? trans DILFs can be very hot).

Also this isn't a wish, so much as a hope it stays, but i hope we never have a "true ending/route/romance" type thing. I think Eiden & his harem should remain poly.

Well, from what I understand. When you play the Birthday event on their initial run like now for the 22's birthday event it usually need like 23 D-energy (added in the 5 battles when you watch ads) to get all the pieces within the 5 to 6 days of the event.

While the re-runs event is only 4 to 5 days only.

So here's what I can advise.

If you were almost done with last year's event (aka maybe you're close and only needed the last 24 to 32 pieces) Then I suggest finishing that. And when the new event comes. Try to finish that the best you can.

Remember if you really want last year's card. I suggest doing this.

But if you only want the this year's UR card, then I suggest to save up D-energy (23-24) or DP (115) with the 5 battles watch ads use them to get the keys battles to finish the key path because is important to get that on the first day. (Note that you can still get 30 DP as a gift on Satan's Birthday)

Added reminder: I followed this tips from someone on twitter who compute the amount of birthday crack needed with each birthday event. When I did this with Lucifer's Birthday it took me 23 or 24 D-energy and the 5 battle ads to get his card. When I saw them made the same computation with the other Birthday events Here's an example with Mammon's 22's Birthday event.

I've recently finished reading "Love & Luck" by Jenna Evans Welch and "In Five Years" by Rebecca Serle. They're both pretty good, but disclaimer "In Five Years" does have some intimate scenes. However my favorite books would have to be "The No-Show" by Beth O'Leary and "Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine" by Gail Honeyman. Do you have any favourite books? I'm always looking for new books to read.

That's the perfect setting to read the twst manga. The moment is calling to you! I honestly didn't even know twst released a manga, but I hope you enjoy them! Each one that gets delivered will be like a gift for future you. Twst always did have the best art so it's great to hear that translated well into physical copies.

How'd pulling for masquerade Idia go? Hoping for good news.

All your OCs are so cute! I adore every single one of them. And your drawing is so good! You should give yourself more credit, they're not just "mediocre".

I love how you came up with different personalities, partners, and unique magics for all of them. Every time I read them I kept thinking "this is absolutely genius!" The designs are also so pretty, the colours and details all fit so well with each of their concepts. I loved reading their background stories too, especially the details in Melanie's background! It's very interesting to read more about them and also their encounters and dynamics with their respective partners.

First of all, thank you!

aahhh I had to look up all of those books, because I didn't recognize all of the titles. Strangely enough, even though it's 90% of what I write here and read in fanfics, I read extremely little romance in regular literature? The premises of these seem really nice though, especially "in five years"! And I saw that Eleanor Elephant is completely fine may be picked up for a movie, although that might have been slowed down and/or cancelled cause of covid since the last news was 2018 :( cause it seems like a feel-good movie i would watch haha

My favorite books at the moment are a little bit all over the place. Not to be a tiktokbook girlie, but I REALLY loved A good girls guide to murder? Most of the books I read are Thriller/Horror, and I picked up some YA thrillers to be able to have some fast reads. And that one was amazing, I flew through it, and even though it was YA, it didn't really feel juvenile, it was super engaging.

For cozy vibes I absolutely loved Convenience Store Woman and The Cat who saved books. Both are Japanese novels and the translations gave me such a cozy feeling? Really loved them. I am also in a feminist bookclub and the books I really loved of our past reading year were Against the Loveless World and Girl, Woman, Other. Not books I would read unprompted, but really loved for the bookclub!

I really need to dive back into reading (both manga and books) proper. I have been writing and gaming a lot more, but have been leaving all my books neglected as my to-be-read pile is looking at me judgingly.

As for Masquerade Idia... he actually came home on the VERY FIRST single key i used. I nearly cried I am so happy. I was in time to pull for the 1 of a kind Grim SSR too, and that one came before 40, So I pulled on masquerade Malleus and got him too TwT all the luck vibes have been working. With the triple showcase rerun, I will pull till the pity (I don't really care if I get the Azul card or a dupe). And then I have still a first pity saved up for the next event. With book 7 coming, either the Sunset Savannah hometown event or a Lilia card will be the next ones I am aiming for UwU

I'd like to say most likely, because the cards that were added to the 2nd anniversary shop all had a rerun for their summoning banners already (Idia's groom card was an exception) so if they do decide to add the halloween cards again for the next anniversary then Riddle's, Rook's, and Silver's are almost guaranteed (I doubt they would add the first set of cards again...)

although there's also some things to consider like:

twst staff have more event cards to pick from for the shop because we had reruns for other events (Wish Upon a Star is a strong candidate, also Fairy Gala and maybe Camp Vargas, plus Floyd's Beans Camo SSR) so there's a slight chance of Halloween not being in the shop next year to accommodate for other cards. This is just a guess though, I can't be certain of it since I don't work for The Mouse. They could also decide to just go ham and have more options than this year so we all can go broke be happy.

the writers dropped quite a bit of character lore on this event, plus I doubt they would want to come up with another event to run during October because

It fits the season

The thing is already written so why create more work

They already made cards for every character (*cough* minus the staff 👀)

...so I don't think this event is going away for at least one more year

In conclusion: gacha games are a big pain and we can't be 100% sure of the availability of these specific cards in the future, but I personally lean towards "yeah they will come up again" whether it is on the shop or a re-re-rerun

Just remember that there's still 9 birthdays + Christmas/New Year's campaigns to go before next March so you can save up some gems and keys until then...150 summons for a single SSR key is a bit tough if you're f2p (╥﹏╥)

Birthdays have events in Obey Me Including your own!  This post is focusing on Character events, or more specific the current one.

1. POP QUIZ!

✩Like most events there is a Pop Quiz!  It works just like other Pop Quizzes, you play battles and get points while following a little storyline The Key differences are: - You must use a Simeon card! The Birthday Character is required to participate  - You only get the amount of points you start with, Cheat Cards do not exist - You can get SSR pieces as battle rewards (some events do this some do not) - This event is shorter and you don’t need as much points to get a UR card however because you are getting a low amount every battle that’s what makes it seem harder than other Pop Quizzes - As far as I’m aware there have been no card reruns from Birthdays! So if you really want a UR this may be your only chance, you will most likely have to sacrifice Devil Points and D Energy for this.

2. NIGHTMARE! 

✩ Most events also have a Nightmare! These Nightmares do not include new Simeon cards!! But they do give you a better chance of grabbing a default SSR or UR of Simeon if you Summon from this The Nightmare is basically the same as Chapter A but with Simeon chances increased, so if you’re a big Simeon fan that doesn’t have the Default SSR’s or UR and want them bad enough this is a good chance to try and get one 

3. MISSIONS! 

✩ This Mission is similar to one you may have seen when you first began playing! if you do every task in these boxes you will receive a Simeon SSR!  - Have Simeon work a job: use Simeon in Jobs app 7 times  - Buy Simeon’s favorite Item: Buy Simeon’s favorite Item through Akuzon app, his favorite Is Paradise Blue you can get this by spending 9 Devil Points for 3 or 15 Raven’s for 3  - Give a Present to Simeon: After battles you may get a Surprise Guest, if this Guest is Simeon you have to give him at least 5 gifts throughout your many battles  - Pair a Glowstick with Simeon: Glowsticks are used before battles to make cards stronger, you need to give him one 5 times, Simeon takes Green glowsticks and Rainbow  - Log In on 3 days: Log into the game 3 days  - Unlock Devil’s Tree spaces of a Simeon Demon Card: There are 2 different types of cards Demon cards and Memory cards, Demon cards are usually the main cards you use they’re the characters you see chibi’s for in the game, you need to pick any Simeon card and buy at least 15 of the colored circles - Level up a Simeon Demon card to level 30: You need to level up a Simeon Demon card at least 30 times, it can be 1 card or multiple, you can level one card 15 times and another 15 more times as long as its Simeon! - Finish 2-19 in “Happy Birthday! Dear Simeon ‘22″: This Pop Quiz has 2 different branches, you are allowed to play through both but this one requires keys that you can get by playing battles that can reward them. ✩ You can spend Devil Points on Birthday Sales! 32 Days Later (One shot)

Enjoy this piece of October Fluff! It’s my first real attempt at writing from Steve’s perspective, so sorry if it isn’t amazing. I also wrote this at four am after being up since twelve p.m the prior day.

32 Days Later

You were trouble. That’s what Fury said.

October first came in a blink and Steve Rogers walked out of his room ready for his morning run to find you in your pair of skeleton pajamas. Your feet tapped barefoot against the hardwood floor of the kitchen as you sipped from a giant bat shaped mug. No doubt you had been waiting to pull it out, and by the smells of it you had just made a batch of Nutella hot chocolate. It was seven in the morning.

“No time to sleep when it’s October!” You had exclaimed gleefully, sitting on the couch in the joining room and proceeding to fold yourself into multiple layers of blankets. Steve rolled his eyes as the start of some horror movie began, shaking his head as he stepped outside. You’d only joined the team five months ago, per Fury’s orders and Tony’s headache. Sure, everyone fell in love with you within the first month. Well everyone except Steve of course. Keep your friends close and all that. He couldn’t peg you. Usually he was a good judge of character, but he was continually finding himself plagued by not being able to figure you out. He wasn’t an idiot though. He knew how great you were in the field. How you rivaled Nat’s marksmanship and Tony’s sarcasm. He knew that Bucky and Sam protected you like you were their adopted little sister. Hell he even knew Thor took to calling you “The small and mighty Y/N”. And just like now he knew you had been looking forward to this particular month, as you had mentioned it precisely eighty-six times during the course of this week.

He knew you were trouble. He just didn’t know what kind yet.

On October third you asked him what day it was.

“It’s October Third.” He replied back simply, your giggling fit ringing in his ears as everyone else joined in. He quickly learned that it was a movie reference, having being forced to watch said movie that same evening. He came to understand why you always shouted “She doesn’t even go here!” when you found something out of place, and why everyone (including Bucky to his shock) were wearing pink articles of clothing as the film played.

The wink you sent him from across the living room made his face heat up.

He distinctly recalls the night of October seventh when you nearly begged to get him to accompany you to a new horror movie playing at the theater downtown. “Tony and Pepper are going and I don’t want to be a third wheel!” You whined, “I need big strong arms to hug when I get scared!” You pleaded. “I’ll make you snickerdoodles for a week!”

He didn’t have the faintest idea what was happening amongst the bloodshed and screaming victims being mutilated, but he would never forget your floral scent of perfume taking over his senses. How your hands felt on his skin as you clung on for dear life to his arm and attempted to hide just a sliver of your face in his shoulder. The snickerdoodles were delivered outside his room for seven days straight after that, always wrapped and his name written in beautiful, careful script.

“Come on man, it’s just a pumpkin! It isn’t going to bite cha!”

Steve stared in discontent at the large orange gourd in front of him on October thirteenth. The team decided it would be in their best interest to carve faces and designs on them. Team Building. Tony called it.  Festive you called it. Disgusting chaos would have been his chosen words. The tarp covering the floor was no match for everyone’s hacking carnage, Sam’s complaint of splattered pumpkin guts on the wall in the kitchen causing everyone to roll their eyes. You said you’d get Parker to clean it up. Everyone laughed at your perfect humor. Again.

Steve was never much for gawking or ogling, but watching you put your “carving skills” (he had no idea those were actual skills) on your own vegetable, fruit, whatever you had called it, made him worry about ever making you angry. You were so calm while you worked, blades shaving off top layers and poking holes in artistic ways. Your fingers were lighter than air the entire time, yet he was growing more and more afraid for his personal safety. And his progressively growing attraction to you. It was only when you were nearly done painting yours in glow in the dark paint that he came to the realization that he hadn’t carved a single feature into his own. He worked haphazardly in a frenzy after that, almost losing a finger in his rush to complete it. Maybe you wouldn’t put together that he had spent his entire evening watching you. He had to hope right? The poor thing came out looking so uneven and lopsided he almost wanted to accidentally push it out of a nearby window to put it out of its misery.

“I think it looks wonderful Steve.” You cooed, his blood pressure rising as you went to place your masterpiece in between his and Sam’s puking pumpkin. Yours was an extremely well done adaptation of “Starry Night”, carved and painted with such precision Steve didn’t know if you were real for five whole seconds. Bucky said you put his art to shame. He had to agree, thrown off for just a millisecond when you brought him down into a strong and grateful hug.

“I know you didn’t want to be here. Thank you.” All he could do is make a small “Sure” as you parted ways, watching you and Nat link arms as you headed back into the Compound. He was too busy in his own thoughts when Sam gave him a long look. His mind was occupied with how your breath had felt against his neck when you hugged him, and the way you said his name.

You were definitely trouble.

October twenty fifth was the annual Stark Industries “Trunk or Treat”. It was a wonderful night filled with young children dressed as the Avengers and various other things, visiting trunks of employees and Stark himself to get their yearly candy. Thor and Bruce along with other security stood watch, while Nat and Clint passed out candy as Elsa and Kristoff from Frozen. Bucky and Sam were Ghostbusters, your head nearly exploding when the former and Steve both had said they’d never seen it. You had demanded Sam and Tony’s “Movie Buff” cards, mumbling something about “failing this city.” Whatever that meant.

And what was he doing this fair and crisp autumn night? He could ask himself the same thing, reaching to tug at the itchy orange ascot that clung to his neck tightly. The bell bottoms were a bit tight, the sweater vest threatening to pop at the seams at his wide shoulders. Your ex boyfriend had told you to keep it when he broke your heart right after you joined the team. It had been your dream to go as Daphne Blake and Fred Jones, certain you’d clean house at costume parties with your previous beau. That was until Fury got you the job and the jerk you had been dating for nearly three years told you he couldn’t deal with you making more than him and being stronger than him. Steve leapt, dived at the chance when you asked for his help, agreeing without knowing much about the Scooby Gang. You fixed that too, staying up til three in the morning with him the day of the event watching reruns of the famous cartoon. He pretty much had your laughter locked in his memory now, the way your hair moved when you threw your head back when Shaggy made another absurd food concoction. Your ex was a fool.  How lucky this guy had been to have you in the first place, only to mess it up royally later. It made his blood boil how much of your time he had wasted in the past. Steve would never treat you like he had, you deserved so much more than that. He admired you for your opinions and strength, how you could shut him up with cold hard facts when you got into heated debates. What a fool he was to lose you. You kept telling everyone you were better off, but he heard the crying on the other side of his room wall. Late at night. When you didn’t think anyone was awake to pity you.

So he helped you pass out candy from the back of your cousin’s panel van, the happy children scurrying off with their candy as he had to remind himself not to move to quickly lest his costume rip in a non-flattering way.

He asked you to Tony’s Halloween party that very night, saying he would get a bigger costume. You asked if it was a date to which he sheepishly confirmed. Your smile nothing short of blinding him, the kiss you placed on his cheek burning into his skin when you accepted. He was branded by you, instantly craving your attention and affection and conceding he would stop at nothing to earn it. He was a goner.

Halloween night came, you spending all day in a hurried disheveled mess as you baked countless treats for the party guests. Tony had insisted that the event could be completely catered but you were having none of it, busying yourself and not accepting any help. How you managed to pull it off in such a time crunch was beyond him, and he felt a certain sense of pride as you received dozens of compliments during the evening, your arm interlaced with his.

“I knew you could do it Doll, my ma would have killed for your recipes.”

“She brought you into this world Steve,” you beamed at him as you adjusted your own scratchy ascot, “She wouldn’t even have had to ask.”

The two of you won the contest, coming in second was Thor and Bruce’s in their absolutely wretched attempt at going as each other. He was addicted to your laughter about the whole ordeal though, Bruce’s wig specifically causing a riot throughout the night with everyone. Thor said he was flattered none the less. After the party he helped you back to your room, your inebriated nature meaning you needed assistance. You swore and stumbled out of your clothes on the way down the hall, the scene endearing to say the least. Steve could only shake his head, picking up your heels (torture devices you called them), purple thigh high stockings, red wig (and wig cap) as you went, tipsy and carefree.

“Does this mean we’re a couple now?” You asked, shoving your room door open with comical effort. “Cause we won the couple…couple contest. It’s only fair.”

“Sure sweetheart, I think I’d like that. But I would prefer to hear you say you’d like that when you’re sober, alright?”

“But I asked you already…” You looked so confused and he wanted nothing more than to kiss you senseless. Make you see how completely smitten he already was with you. But he just repeated himself and smiled.

You asked him to stay which he politely declined, only to be smacked in the face with a lime green ascot in response to his quest to remain respectful. All you had to do to win him over was give him a sad look, batting your eyes up at him and making all of his resolve cave. He stripped down to his white tank top and boxer briefs while you got comfortable under the sheets.

“You can sleep on top of the covers. Buck said you super soldiers run hot.”

He smiled while snuggling into you, hoping you wouldn’t pick up on his racing heartbeat when you shifted your weight, leaning your head back against his chest. “Why’s that Y/N? Afraid I won’t be able to keep my hands to myself?”

“No,” You mumbled, already half asleep when his arm came around you. “I’m one-hundred percent sure I wouldn’t be able to keep my hands to myself.” He stiffened slightly, hearing you chuckle cheekily before falling into an easy slumber. He’d get even in the morning he decided.

November first came in a blink, Steve stretching at the first sign of sunrise. The bed was empty. Your bed was empty. He could faintly hear noise coming from the kitchen, throwing on his pants from the night prior and shutting the door behind him. The dark and sinister decorations were gone, replaced with bright and incredibly gaudy holiday lights and décor. He didn’t know they had twelve nutcracker statues, each eerily looking a lot like their real life Avenger counterparts. He chuckled at the sight of you, braid a mess and green and red striped pajamas covering you. His heart caught in his throat when you turned from the counter to face him, your beauty always managing to make his heart stop momentarily. Your feet padded across the floor as you sipped from your obnoxiously large ceramic mug shaped like a reindeer.

Your kiss tasted of peppermint mocha, the world drowned out as he returned it tenfold, tugging you close and spilling a hint of coffee onto his tank top.

“We’re so a couple Rogers,” You grinned after breaking away slightly, “So buckle up.”

You were trouble. But he definitely didn’t mind.

hi raven!! im sorry if i cant ask this question, but on the EN server theres the anniv thing going on where the perm banner has bday cards in it and if u reach 100/130 tokens u can choose the ssr/bday ssr right. im at 50 pity on it and have 251 pulls. i was wondering if you think its a good idea to pull on that banner to reach the 100 token mark/ssr mark. i kinda want idia riddle or azul but i dont know if its worth it. what do u think?

I'd recommend taking a look at this post for general advice on birthday cards, then weigh the pros and cons for yourself. You know best where your own priorities lie, not me! You should make the final decision.

If I had to give my own thoughts though 😅 I don't ever roll on non-limited banners, especially if there's a good chance that I may not get the SSRs I want. There are so many other birthday boys or dorm SSRs that could spoil the pity, so if I were in your shoes then I wouldn't want to risk it.

I've mentioned this before a number of times, but EN players have the luxury of looking to events that have already passed in JP to determine how they want to allocate and/or save their rolls. I'd suggest looking at upcoming limited banners and see if there are any you want to save for rather than throwing all your rolls into cards you could be guaranteed to get at literally any time or during future birthday banners. (Old birthday banners will rerun every year in additional to a new birthday banner.)

It’s really a matter of “do you want to guarantee the birthday characters you want on the banner where they are the only SSR you can get” or “do you want to try your chance at getting many SSRs even at the cost of not getting a specific birthday SSR you want”?

MANNERISMS:

What words or phrases do they overuse?

she uses the word ‘basically’ a lot. she also definitely overuses her britishisms but that’s mainly because she’d been living there for the last few years. favouite curse word is ‘fuck’. ends too many sentences with the word ‘me’.

Are they more optimistic or pessimistic?

ellie will tell you she’s a realist, though she does tend towards optimism, particularly when it comes to the outcomes of certain events in her life. 

What bad habits do they have?

speaking before she speaks, drinking way too much coffee (and as a result has developed an unhealthy addiction to breath mints, seriously she’s always gone some on her person!), nail biting/picking (particularly when she’s nervous/bored), flirting before thinking (she’s sure your partner is great, she just didn’t consider their existence), pouting until she gets what she wants.

What makes them laugh out loud?

friends reruns, friends in general, lana sullivan. she’s also the sort to laugh at her friends embarrassments/trip ups but would also be the first to bail you out in a bind so figurers that balances things out. 

How do they display affection?

little touches (on your arm, your shoulder, your lower back), little gifts/things she’s seen that remind her of you, sending random texts/pictures throughout her day, sharing anecdotes/gossip. 

Do they make snap judgements or take time to consider?

she’s an impulsive little sun of a gun, just ask lana. she detests feeling stuck and that has driven her to make many questionable decisions and has resulted in the breaking down of some important relationships in her life. 

How do they react to praise?

she THRIVES off of it. like tinkerbell she needs applause and praise to live. 

How do they react to criticism?

she’ll tell you she can take it, and that’s not totally untrue, as an actress she has developed a fairly thick skin but she only really takes constructive criticism well. trolly comments on the internet will send her into a tailspin and often result in her seeking some outside affirmation of her awesomeness (often in the form of hookups or friendly cheerleaders). 

What is their philosophy of life?

work hard and be kind. 

When was the last time they cried?

professionally? daily, her current project requires a lot of mental gymnastics. personally? after meeting up with lana. 

If they could change one thing about themselves, what would it be?

apart from forever appearing ageless?? physically she wouldn’t mind being a little taller, but she thinks her face is nice and her ass is good so she happy with her appearance. there are a lot of internal things she’d change about herself but mainly she’d like to be braver and a little more vulnerable about the things that matter with the people she loves.

she does get annoyed easily and pinning down what will set her off from one day to the next isn’t an exact science but some things that never fail are slow walkers, people who talk on their phone in public, traffic (she probs shouldn’t drive bc the road rage is real), and people who insist on continuing conversations when she’s clearly checked out.

pretty small, just her dad, step mum and gran left.

family used to be everything but after her mum passed ellie hasn’t been super connected to her family, with the exception of her gran who is her favouite person in the whole world.

she’s an only child, i’m sure this surprises no one.

the real yin to her yang and the one person she will never put the moves on because it would totally ruin their vibe. also it would be weird because they are basically sisters at this point. if ellie is ever able to sit still long enough to sit and think things through things it is down to this person. big mom friend vibes. 10/10 angel on earth.

oh god no, she shouldn’t be trusted to care for a living creature. 

PAST&FUTURE:

What was your character like as a teen?

not unlike herself now, which speaks to her emotional maturity but much more moody and reckless, very little regard for the consequences of her actions, and pretty listless/unmotivated. she’s since learned to reel some of that in as she’s focussed on her career. 

Did they grow up rich or poor?

middle class, they were comfortable, but they didn’t go on holiday every school break or anything. 

Did they grow up nurtured or neglected?

nurtured, but when she lost her mum she an her dad started to neglect each other. 

What is their greatest achievement?

winning a bafta. 

What was their first kiss like?

awkward and the result of a game of spin the bottle gone wrong -- she’d really wanted to kiss matt jones but instead the bottle had landed on rory tyler. 

What is the worst thing they did to someone they loved?

she’d really like to have a career that lasts past her 35th birthday

What advice would they give their younger self?

hang in there, be kinder to mum, go easier on dad, don’t forget to keep your promises.

to be an actress and a unicorn doctor, so she’s definitely lived up to some of her childhood ambitions!

no, not even a little which is funny because she is definitely the sort to fall quickly.

no, but she is still in love with her ex so that’s fun. particularly for someone whose default is to seek vey surface level/fun ‘relationships’.

How do they behave in a relationship?

depends on the relationship and the person, honestly. ellie hasn’t been in many serious relationships because she typically bolts at the first sign of feeeelings as she tends to lean towards her need for freedom rather than commitment but on the rare occasion her heart has fallen before her brain was able to catch on she’s been quite happy to hermit with her partner. she becomes so smitten the idea of wanting someone else escapes her completely. 

When did your character last have sex?

probably last night. or this morning. she’s a ho and she doesn’t like to be alone. that’s when things like thinking happen and that’s no good! 

Has your character ever been in love?

yes, twice. and both instances left her gutted. 

Have they ever had their heart broken?

she has, but in the end it’s usually by herself as she has the tendency to leave before she gets left.

loves it, a +, everything she’d hoped it be even if the hours are maybe a bit longer than she’d like and she doesn’t always love feeling like she has to hide parts of herself from rabid fans/news sources, but she likes her privacy.

she likes to read and netflix, but her main hobby is bugging her mates until they entertain her.

no, she does not sport well nor does she understand any of the rules. her disdain for football is just another point of contention between her and her father.

a half drank bottle of vodka, seltzer, diet coke, some probiotics she never takes and a variety of take out containers. she does not cook.

cellphone charger, a book she’s been trying to finish for ages, and a sound machine.

honestly she couldn’t tell you the make or model unless she read the manual butt it gets her to auditions and that’s all that matters. it’s basically always got at least three changes of clothes and a takeaway coffee cup and/or wrapper somewhere so if you think that’s messy...  

Do they carry a purse? What is in their purse or wallet?

usually, but if she’s out at retrograde she’ll pair her essentials down to things that can fit in her pocket -- basically that means a lip (red if she’s feeling feisty or insecure), her debit card, her cell and some mints. her purse has at any given time four different lips, a chapstick, some gloss, three packs of gum, mints, a pack of emergency smokes (for when things get intense and she needs to break her clean streak), her wallet, a compact, an umbrella, and so many receipts! 

What is in their pockets?

if she has her purse they’re likely empty, if she doesn’t all the things. also sometimes her hands when she doesn’t know what to do with them. 

What is their most treasured possession? 

her mums wedding band, she wears it basically all the time on her index finger.

Thanks @oediebees​ for tagging me to answer some random questions :D tbh feel like I don’t know that many peoples on here so I’ll tag @enemy0gene​ @halcyonnhood​ @kitsnicketts​ and also any of my followers who want to do this, answer some questions. Let’s get this thing going :D:D

1. What is the color of your hairbrush?

I have really long thick hair, so I have about 4 different brushes and combs. I have a shower comb that’s light blue, a purple hairbrush, a yellow and pink hairbrush, and I think I might have a green one too somewhere. 

2. A food you never eat?

I cannot stand mayonnaise, ketchup or other condiments. 

3. Are you typically too warm or too cold?

I feel like it alternates, but usually I’m too cold. 

4. What were you doing 45 minutes ago?

Driving my mom’s car

5. What is your favorite candy bar?

I really love York bars, with mint in them. 

6. Have you ever been to a professional sporting event?

I’ve been to a Rockies game. I really want to see a professional MMA match, but we’ll see. 

7. What was the last thing you said out loud?

Told my brother where to find his shoes. 

8. What is your favorite ice cream?

Mint chocolate chip or butter pecan

9. What was the last thing you had to drink?

Milk, probably. I’m a cold glass of milk in the morning. 

10. Do you like your wallet?

Yeah, I guess. It’s a rip off of Yves Saint Laurent that I got from some street cart in Turkey.

11. What was the last thing you ate?

I had a waffle with some strawberries for breakfast. 

12. Did you buy any new clothes last weekend?

Nope. I haven’t gotten new clothes since last winter, I haven’t really needed any. I think I might buy some cute bras soon, I moved up a cup size :/

13. The last sporting event you watched?

I have no idea...I watched like 5 minutes of some tennis match rerun on TV the other day, does that count. 

14. What is your favorite flavor of popcorn?

I love caramel kettle corn. 

15. Who was the last person you sent a text message to?

My dad

16. Ever go camping?

Yes! I love camping, I actually went backpacking last with some classmates as part of our school’s orientation program. We went to Shenandoah Valley in Virginia and it was really awesome. Before I’ve been with my family and on some group trips. I really want to go on a big camping trip with just friends and no family. 

17. Do you take vitamins?

I take one of those gummy multivitamins everyday, don’t really know if it does anything but my dad’s kind of a nut about that stuff so I just do it. I also take those vitamin c packets you put in water, more as like yummy juice than anything else. 

18. Do you go to church every Sunday?

I’m Muslim, so that’s a big nope. I also don’t go to Masjid on Fridays (I did while I was at school, but not since coronavirus and never before going to college) I’ve been to church a couple of times for friend’s holy communions and family friend’s baptisms. 

19. Do you have a tan?

Kinda. My skin is pretty tan, but I’d love to just sunbathe and get a good tan going. 

20. Do you prefer Chinese food or pizza?

Probably Chinese food, but good Chinese food, not like Panda Express or something. 

21. Do you drink your soda with a straw?

Don’t drink soda so I guess that answer is no. 

22. What color socks do you usually wear?

Usually grey or black, depending on what I’m wearing. I wear neon socks when I go running, because they’re fun. 

23. Ever drive above the speed limit?

Omg, yes. It’s really bad, but there’s a lot of roads in my town that have like a “unofficial speed limit” that’s usually 5-10 mph higher than the actual limit. 

24. What terrifies you?

Everything. Real question is what doesn’t. I’m so scared for the future, especially the immediate future with coronavirus, and the state of our world and the election. 

25. Look to your left what do you see?

The couch back up to the wall in the office. My dad’s weird giant globe. My dog’s leash, abandoned on the couch where my brother left it after walking the dog. A pretty painting of some white flowers. 

26. What chore do you hate?

I hate filling the dishwasher with dirty dishes. I just don’t like touching dirty dishes in general. 

27. What do you think of when you hear an Australian accent?

The Hemsworth brothers, tbh. Or my friend Sydney, who got her name because she was born on the first day of the Sydney olympics. 

28. What is your favorite soda?

I haven’t really had soda in a few years, but I really like Izzy’s which I guess might be soda. I like La Croix too. 

29. Do you go into a fast food place or just hit the drive through?

Always drive through. I hate going them, always smell like grease and bleach.

31. Favorite cut of beef?

I love a good steak, so probably some cut of steak. 

32. Last song you listened to?

Right this minute, I’m listening to Lego House by Ed Sheeran. Before this, it was Bright by Echosmith. 

33. Last book you read?

Right now, I’m reading How to do Nothing by Jenny Odell, but the last book I finished before this was We Wish to Inform You that Tomorrow We Will be Killed with our Families by Phillip Gourevitch, which details the Rwandan genocide and its progression. It’s really graphic and depressing, but a good read. 

34. Favorite day of the week? 

I really love Tuesdays and Fridays.  I feel like they both have really good vibes. Nowadays though, all days feel the same. 

35. Can you say the alphabet backwards?

Probably yeah. I tried just now and my dog started staring at me like I had three heads. 

36. How do you like your coffee?

Little cream, a lot of sugar. 

37. Favorite pair of shoes?

I have ratty pair of black vans I like. And a pair of faux leather half cut cowboy boots. 

38. At what time do you usually go to bed?

I get in bed by around 10 but I don’t fall asleep until like midnight. 

39. At what time do you normally get up?

6:30 or 7, I like to go for runs in the morning before work. 

40. What do you prefer - sunrises or sunsets?

Sunsets, they’re so calming. 

41. How many blankets are on your bed?

I have 4 blankets on my bed right now, along with a plain old sheet. By the time I wake up, usually all but one have been karate kicked off the bed by yours truly. 

42. Describe your kitchen plates?

Um, at school I have just one blue plastic one, cause that’s all I need. At home, we have these white square ones with green flowers on them. 

43. Do you have a favorite alcoholic beverage?

I don’t drink alcohol, but my friends make these mocktails out of grapefruit juice and Sprite that I like. I also like mojito gummy bears, so maybe I'd like mojitos. 

44. Do you play cards?

Yeah, I like poker, usually play 5 card draw. I also like Speed, Spoons, and BS, which I feel are more childish games but very fun. 

45. Can you change a tire?

Do I know how to? Yes. Would I be able to physically use the jack and lift a tire if I needed to? Guess we’ll see if I ever end up with a flat. 

46. What is your favorite province?

In Canada? British Columbia, I really love Victoria Island. 

47. Favorite job you ever had?

Right now, I’m an intern at a nonprofit and it’s a really great job. 

48. How did you get your biggest scar?

I have a lot of stretch marks, which I guess are scars? I was really small as a kid, because I was born premature, with a lot of growth issues. When those all got fixed, I shot up and out, and so I ended up with a crap ton of stretch marks, especially on my back, legs, ass and boobs. 

49. What did you do today that made someone happy?

I haven’t done much of anything today, but I went to see this car and that made my dad happy, even though I didn’t want to. So I guess that.
