Eyes caught the delicate ministrations of body and that of the mind, and the typical snide smirk which found a natural place on Reno's lips was no where in sight . . not entirely. Amusement was present in turquoise eyes — hey, he had to demonstrate his emotions one way or another. Not everyone could carry on as stoic and boring as a statue. Should the woman and that church girl ever get a thing going, they were bound to be inseparable. The air only felt natural when it was tainted with smog. The thing beneath feet should have been shoes or the concrete or urban development. Reno was a slum kid through and though; it was apparent there was no grace within him and certainly no appreciation for the things she admired. Ungloved fingers pulled up at the cloth of this ebony trousers about his thighs, bunching the material in a more comfortable manner as he bent down to examine the book she referred to with loving fervor. He tapped at the binding, then flipped through several pages with not the slightest hint of interest in his expression. Scarlet eyebrow curved with renewed curiosity as his gaze met her face.

I can’t believe people are acting like Solas and Varric aren’t friends….did you listen to their dialogues? They talk philosophy, laugh, ask each other questions, give advice, Solas even goes from polite but distant ‘master tethras’ to a friendly ‘varric’ in the span of a few conversations. Solas took genuine interest in his writing and read his books. Varric even invites him to play Wicked Grace. Foolish.
