Uh so Optimus almost got taken over by a symbiote that one time. Idk if this is an actual cross with marvel or if it’s just an homage to venom because of the spider silhouette, but that is straight up a symbiote. Interesting

How to be a Solar Punk (And a Leftist) ☀️🌱:
1) Stop buying fast fashion and boycott.
I use Depop, Etsy to support small businesses, and you can purchase from small businesses or organizations via other channels. You can also transform your clothing. If a t-shirt is too small, make it a crop top or wear a long shirt underneath! Also look up boycott lists (e.g. BDS movement list) so you know which companies you can or cannot support.
2) Censor and Spread.
Carry around a sharpie or a tube of paint to cover ignorant (e.g. racist) graffiti and scribbles. (I’m not going to refer to it as art). You can also spread information via graffiti.
3) Reuse and Recycle.
I use grocery bags as garbage bags, tin cans to hold things, boxes from online orders, you can even get more creative and make pins out of bottle tops!
4) Get involved physically (if possible).
Volunteer to help people who are lower income, get involved in “beautifying” the community (e.g. displaying the cultural backgrounds of the community, gardening, and protesting).
5) Get involved online.
I sign and repost GoFundMe campaigns, donate what I can, and post information regarding current events. Don’t be apolitical. This is a leftist ideology.
6) Educate yourself.
Go to trusted sources to educate yourself on facts regarding certain matters so you can dispute false claims. There are many PDFs online, podcasts, and overall resources you should take advantage of to increase your awareness and to also help develop a better understanding of those who need your help. Education is what will set us free.
7) Support your local library.
There are so many resources and programs they offer that people are not aware of. And because people are not aware of them they are shut down and underfunded. People who can’t afford computers need to have them available free at cost. Not only to enjoy them leisurely but to do things like job search. Children also have reading assignments which brings them to the library, seeing activities and programs they offer children will help to cultivate a love for learning. The next generations are our future.
8) Learn languages and about cultures.
Certain issues are not limited to certain communities or areas. We need to unite in order to make an impact that will enact change. You will also understand how to positively influence certain people that would otherwise not be receptive due to a different communication style.
9) Take care of your mental health.
“A sick person cannot help a sick person.” -AA saying
You also need to take care of yourself because, simply, you are valuable. Being healthily selfish exists.
10) Be confident.
We unfortunately have to enter spaces that will make us uncomfortable and it will be difficult to be vocal, but it is necessary. In this area, focus on practicing efficient communication methods and building your self-confidence.
11) Confront your own bias.
Everyone is biased in some way shape or form. It is our job to rid ourselves of these biases. Take moral inventory (as they say in 12-step programs) and analyze areas you need to work on.
12) Credit artists and writers.
Being an artist and/or writer should not be a struggling profession. They are an integral part of our society. It’s easy to forget, especially when we take so many screenshots a day, so keep this in mind! I sometimes forget so I can attest it’s not the end of the world but it is a good habit to form.
13) Be anti-A.I.
It is not possible to incorporate A.I. into a leftist environment. It inherently promotes late-stage capitalism.
13) Be a good human. :)
Please comment what I missed! Thank you for reading.

Chrion in the Signs
paid readings | Masterlist
ᡣ𐭩 Please support me by reposting, liking, following me and commenting your chiron placement. Chiron (2060) is a generational asteroid which defines your inner wounds, learning where your chrion is can help you find peace within yourself.
0º is the degree which doesn't have a coresponding sign assigned to it. It's a fresh new degree and will amplify the themes of the sign that it's in
Aries (1,13,25º) The wound lies in identity, courage, and self-worth. People with Chiron in Aries often feel they must constantly prove themselves, yet struggle with deep insecurity about their right to exist as they are. Their pain may center around not being seen or validated for their individuality. Healing comes through reclaiming self-confidence, asserting themselves unapologetically, and realizing they don’t need to earn the right to take up space.
Taurus (2, 14, 26°) This wound is rooted in self-worth, security, and material stability. There may be fears of scarcity or not being “enough”—not valuable, lovable, or secure. Individuals may cling to comfort, possessions, or routines out of fear of loss. Healing involves learning that self-worth isn’t determined by external validation or possessions, and discovering inner richness and peace beyond the material world.
Gemini (3, 15, 27°) This wound is rooted in self-worth, security, and material stability.
Cancer (4, 16, 28°) The wound touches on emotional safety, nurturing, and belonging. People with this placement often struggle with issues around family, home, or feeling emotionally supported. They may have been the caregiver too early or felt unprotected. Healing arises from nurturing themselves, setting boundaries, and learning that vulnerability is strength—not weakness.
Leo (5, 17, 29°) This placement wounds the inner child and sense of self-expression. There may be pain around being ignored, rejected, or not feeling special or good enough. These individuals may fear being seen, yet crave recognition. Healing is found through creative expression, playful joy, and embracing their inner light without needing approval.
Virgo (6, 18° ) The wound lies in perfectionism, self-criticism, and the pressure to fix everything. Individuals may struggle with chronic feelings of inadequacy or obsessive tendencies around being useful or “good enough.” They often put others’ needs before their own. Healing comes through accepting imperfection, finding peace in service without self-erasure, and recognizing the sacred in the flawed.
Libra (7, 19°) This wound is about relationships, fairness, and self-sacrifice. These individuals often feel unlovable unless they maintain harmony, even at their own expense. They may struggle with codependency or fear conflict. Healing comes through balancing the scales—honoring their own needs while staying connected—and realizing they are worthy of love as their whole, authentic selves.
Scorpio( 8, 20°) Here, the wound centers on trust, power, and emotional depth. There may be early experiences of betrayal, loss, or emotional trauma. These individuals may guard themselves intensely, fearing vulnerability. Healing involves facing the darkness within, learning to trust again, and using their pain as a source of profound transformation and emotional resilience.
Sagittarius (9, 21°) The pain here is philosophical—rooted in beliefs, freedom, and truth. There may be a fear of being wrong or a sense of disillusionment with systems, teachers, or truth itself. They may struggle with faith or feel like outsiders in their quest for meaning. Healing comes through forging their own spiritual path and embracing curiosity over dogma.
Capricorn (10, 22º) The wound lies in authority, responsibility, and achievement. These individuals often feel they must earn love through success or that failure defines their worth. They may carry a deep sense of duty or guilt. Healing involves redefining success, embracing vulnerability, and allowing themselves to rest without shame.
Aquarius (11, 23°) This wound is social—centered on feeling different, excluded, or misunderstood. People with Chiron in Aquarius may feel alienated or disconnected from groups or society. They often crave belonging while fearing conformity. Healing arises from embracing their uniqueness and finding or creating communities that honor their visionary nature.
Pisces (12, 24°) The pain here is spiritual and existential. Individuals may carry a vague, all-encompassing sorrow or feel overwhelmed by the suffering of the world. They may struggle with boundaries or escapism. Healing comes through spiritual connection, creative flow, and learning to hold compassion without losing themselves in others’ pain.

what do you need to get rid of?
[it's a general reading, so take what resonate and leave the others.]
masterlist.
pricelist.
rules.

Pile 1.
rejection of confusion or unclear thinking. maybe you have been setting unrealistic plans lately, so you need to look at the situation as a whole, set clear goals. you need to let go of limiting beliefs, stereotypes, or old thought patterns to make room for new clarity of mind. you need to let the past go. perhaps you feel trapped or have addictions and unhealthy attachments. such as a toxic relationship, you need to break free from a toxic relationship, bad habits, or any situation where you feel controlled or enslaved. you need to rethink whether this is good for you or no. the need to get rid of any doubts or fears that undermine your confidence. you may also need to let go of overexertion or trying to control everything, and instead focus on soft power and self-compassion. you have the strength for it, believe in yourself. you just have to see if this is your way of thinking about life or if it is borrowed or inspired by someone or something. so, overall, you may need to let go of confusion, negative attachments, toxic patterns, and any fears or insecurities that prevent you from tapping into your inner strength and clarity.
Pile 2.
letting go of the need for external validation or the pressure to constantly prove yourself. It might also indicate shedding any pride or ego that comes with achievements, which could be preventing personal growth or inner peace. releasing excessive rigidity, coldness, or over-reliance on intellect at the expense of emotion. You might need to let go of the need to control every situation with a purely rational approach and allow room for more emotional understanding and flexibility. in order to move forward, you may need to let go of the past—whether it be old habits, relationships, or outdated ways of thinking. Death card asks you all for a deep transformation, so it may involve shedding fears of change or attachment to things that no longer serve your growth. you need to get rid of is an overemphasis on external approval, rigid thinking, and attachments to the past or to things that are no longer useful in your life. It’s about embracing transformation, being open to change, and moving forward without clinging to what’s already been accomplished or what no longer fits.
Pile 3.
let go of emotional baggage or unresolved issues from the past that are weighing you down. stop resisting change or moving forward, especially if you're holding on to old ways or habits that no longer serve you. you need to let go of unrealistic expectations or excessive idealism that can prevent you from embracing the present. maybe you've been too delusional lately. stop looking to external sources of hope or validation instead of trusting your own inner guidance. maybe you've been suppressing yourself emotionally lately or putting too much emphasis on maintaining control at the expense of your own feelings. Perhaps you need to let go of emotional detachment or fear of being vulnerable. so you need to let go of emotional baggage, idealized expectations, and fear of accepting your emotions. It's about moving forward with balance, trusting your healing process, and letting go of anything that holds you back or gets in the way of emotional openness.

Career Advice for this season .𖥔 ݁ ˖🍁๋࣭ ⭑🍂༘⋆☕️⋆
Disclaimer: Please remember, this is just a general reading from the collective, apply how it might resonate and take in consideration that tarot readings are not 100% real, you have the power to change your life anytime. Also please, regarding any kind of health issues this is no game, go to a doctor, I or spirit will never give you any advice regarding your health in this blog.

1-2-3
These are supposed to be career advices, but for some reason they seem to be very general. If you want to apply to what resonates the most.
Pile 1 - butterflies tattoo
Hi Pile 1, you went through a lot of ups and downs this summer, easy, things are getting ready. I see you were fooled at work with promises that lead only to working way too hard to defend your position. Spirit says it's possible to see all the hard work you endured as preparation, as the transformation and the pressure you needed to become the king of swords you are. Use your words to comunicate your truth you are aleader in your field and never let anyone say otherwise!
As I was writing, Ateez's Turbulence played. in the back I don't know if you are familiar with the song, but it really matches how I think you feel. Don't worry, this time of difficulty and trouble isn't forever.
The advide here is: Everything that comes must go, and your pain is now in the past if you allow it to be. Allow yourself to breathe, you're ready to feel the breeze again. Transform and grow at your own pace.
Pile 2 - I am succesful at everything I do
Pile 2, it is hard to make your dreams come true isn't it? seems funny the quote says "i'm succesful at everything I do" because people tend to believe this comes magically into your life, but you know what it feels to not have a thing and to be left out in the cold, don't you?... though of course there's magic and surprises in life and all your hard work is leading to a magical suprise.
Taylor Swift's Change sounds in the back and this is what I can tell you, your wish is coming true. Your own personailty and your confidence in yourself are the ones who will help you to continue. There's power in being yourself and you are acing it.
The message here, because it's more an encouragement from spirit than actual advice is magic is everywhere and your are atracting the best possible outcome for your situation at work. Your dream is coming true and your guides are making sure it's happening because you are doing it so they are going to remove all the blockages as you go. Get ready because you are at the start line of a new adventure to achieve your dream.
Pile 3 - Euphoria
Strong and ready my pile 3, your message mixes the both other piles, so read them if you also feel inclined to do so.
I see someone siting in her throne and knowing it's worth here in this world, maybe you went through the phases the other two piles went through, or you are going to in this season. I see you are leaving behind a lot of people and situations that weren't as good as they promised, but hey! you were trying!! Right now you know what you don't want, and you have to keep looking for what you want.
Maybe you need to get out and allow yourself to get an icecream or go and get that special coffe you always wanted to taste. Let go and show up for yourself because you're the person you need the most and the one who will love you the most always.
The advice here is simple: Every one of your tears is valuable, every pain you suffer is teaching you something. And what I mean to say is the most important leson you are ever going to recieve is you are love and you deserved to be loved. Give yourself that gift because we all come to this world to learn, but specially and specifically to learn what love feels like when we are separated from source.

Pick A Card Reading
Before that here's a channeled song for collective.
What change is radically transforming your life?
Welcome to today's tarot reading! I always find tarot readings enjoyable, like reading chapters from a fascinating book. Before we dive in, let's set the scene and align with today's reading. Remember, this is a timeless read, so the messages can apply whenever you come across this post.
To start, take a moment to meditate on the question, and then choose the picture that draws you in. It could be a random object in the image or just an inner nudge guiding you to a particular pile. Feel free to choose more than one pile.
This is a general reading, so take only the messages that resonate with you and leave the rest. A tarot reading offers insight or answers to your subconscious questions. It's important not to force yourself into any interpretation that doesn't feel right; readings are meant to be more about entertainment and reflection than precision.
Be mindful of not taking things personally. This is a collective reading, and while some aspects might resonate with you, others may resonate with someone else. Please take your time with this reading. These messages are intended to awaken and provide insights, so I hope you find value in them. Enjoy the journey through these reads.
With Love

Pile 1
Conformations: Stork and fox and the soup bowl story, the forked road, straight bangs, messy hair, song named Hum pagal nhi hai bhaiyaa hamara dimag kharab hai, family and parents could be significant, dead fish, being eccentric, not fit in, standing out too much in the crowd
Something in your life could be changing to move you toward a specific goal. You might be shaping into the person who attracts that long-desired opportunity or gaining access to something you've always wanted. Pile 1, there’s something you've been dreaming of for a long time—possibly a long-awaited family dream you've been on a mission to fulfill.
I'm sensing Magha nakshatra themes: maybe someone being granted access to a family business or finally receiving their share of an inheritance. You might be leading a new line or school of thought with your family members. It was your dream to see this idea come to fruition, perhaps through market success, new investors, or business registration. It feels like one family approving another.
You've likely struggled with this issue for a long time, but now you see the success of your efforts. This achievement could be very emotional for you, bringing laurels and affection from loved ones. You may have felt stuck, unable to find love or support from your loved ones. Now, I see you taking swift action toward this long-term dream. Pile 1, good luck!

Pile 2
Confirmation: tongue twister she sells seashells on the seashore, Karla, Sarah, Coraline the horror movie, love and hate relationship, someone could refer someone as bitch and may get called back as a scum, take them with you (you could be asked to not hold grudges and take people with you, but at the same time don’t dull your own shine)
You might consider watching Pile 3 as well only if you feel called to it. There's something you've been delaying for a long time, Pile 2. Did you miss an opportunity or freedom to do something? You might be very goal-oriented, but there's some pessimism or fear of failure causing you to deviate from your goals. This could be a past pattern or bad habit repeating itself due to your current state of mind. There might be lingering anxiety about starting a new endeavor, leading to procrastination and worry about committing to new habits.
Celebrate your small achievements and start thinking positively by targeting negative thoughts and changing your thinking pattern. This cycle of self-sabotage is harmful. Avoid dwelling on those negative thoughts. Do well in life, Pile 2. You might be moving away from new friendships and people, disliking mingling with them. You could be trying to go solo to achieve your goals, leaving everything behind for yourself.
You might feel misunderstood, underappreciated, and isolated, perhaps feeling someone stole your credit. This could lead to a sense of worthlessness due to your own selflessness. I'm sorry for what you went through. Know that you deserve better friends and people around you. This might be why you want to distance yourself from new people. I'm seeing a strong feeling of self-preservation, Pile 2. Don't worry, work hard, and people will appreciate your efforts. Focus less on fair-weather friends and more on yourself. Take care, Pile 2. I feel for you and am sorry if that happened.

Pile 3
Confirmation: Paon ki jutti (song), Sydney Sweeney, number 333, 33, foundations, Anuradha nakshatra, someone from your past,1212, Australia
"Disrespect"—some female figure feels disrespected. This is anger channeled into radicalization, literally. The Hawaiian goddess of sacred rage, Pele, is coming through. There’s a mother figure in this pile who feels hugely disrespected, abused, and is doubting her faith and duty towards the collective. This is a very radical energy. " They are becoming more agnostic after whatever has transpired". They are hating and thinking how you have lost your faith in yourself after failing so many times.
Pile 3, you are someone agnostic, and you could be in danger of crossing this empress-like figure in the wake of her rage. This person could get furious at your heartache, the pressure you're feeling, and the fear of moving forward. You can trigger them, so be careful. This empress could be getting over a huge loss in life, an investment, a semester that went down the drain, or some trigger due to "Sweet Home Sydney" (a restaurant). Be careful dealing with this mother figure they might not be in the mood to be teased, she must have lost her assets because of your failures.
You could be moving on from a heartbreaking and stressful situation and trying to get your life together. You think that you are bringing your life to balance using sharp tools(im getting someone cutting their nerves) (even a sharp tongue if necessary). You could be determined to restore balance of mind through chaos. Pile3 they are coming to pull you out of this rut and you are trying to get rid of them. This awakening and rebirth could be due to their investment drowning because of you. This is an unforgiving energy. They might feel very cold to you at start but this all for your good
This grounded person may not be in
the mood for fantasy.. Pile 3, your awakening moment is this woman who doesn't want to see you slacking off. She has been carrying many burdens, and this could be someone you collaborate with at work. She could get very angry with you, Pile 3. You need to stop staying stuck in your head. You might have taken a new start without preparing for the consequences and are still moving on, carrying emotional burdens. This will get you back on track. Whoever this female is, she might be a strict mother figure, but she will get you back on track. She will dish it out very straightforwardly. There's no going back; you better start working hard.
________________________
Pile 4
Confirmations: 99, September, number 5 could be significant, 1313, Yee haa, cowboy, the west, Madison beer- make you mine, Flo Rida – Right Round,1616
"There's no power left in thy hand." Let me tell you something: if you take anything from someone, make sure to give them something in return or return what you took in due time. This is called borrowing. In life, nothing is taken without giving something back. This is the main motto of your reading. You may have borrowed or taken money or assets, become stingy with that money, and are not ready to give back. You could be basking in others' achievements and material gains to fund your own independence and freedom. But none of this was guaranteed for free. Be grateful for what you got for the limited time and give back.
Your mind is stuck in the thoughts of comfort without pain. Get out of this mindset. You might lose a lot in life due to fights and competitions, developing a loser’s mindset, thinking nothing is meant for you. This could lead you to take a wrong path you will regret in the long run. It's a survivor mindset, trying to run away when things get rough. Maybe there was a time you couldn’t run to safety, and now you have a survival instinct to run irrationally without seeing things clearly because you feel you cannot face the challenge. Remove that guilt. What has happened has happened. Accept your regrets for what you could not do to save yourself.
Don’t miss opportunities because of being stuck in your feelings. Use your rationality to get ahead in life. Stop wallowing in emotions. Get out of this emotional cycle and traumatic pattern. Your payback time is coming. The phrase "every dog has its day" comes to mind. You might have received an opportunity given with trust that you would return it tenfold, but you felt you didn’t deserve it. Anxiety hit when you first took it. You weren’t capable of receiving it because of a lack mindset. Then you were attacked by fake friends and your own self-hatred. You fumbled opportunities meant to move you forward.
The change that will transform your life is moving away from this toxic community. Let go of reasons to stay in a place you thought was good for you. Let go of what is not serving you. Look forward to results from your efforts and hard work. Move toward self-love and self-care, letting go of thoughts, ideas, and emotional pain from others. Proceed in life learning new skills, unafraid to express yourself and your beliefs. You are coming to balance, losing the lack and hoarding mindset, becoming more authentic. Heal yourself, learn to care for yourself, and turn controlling tendencies into self-discipline. Become a more balanced individual

Hello! I’m the person that asked for advice on writing before. Did you have to get permissions from rusty quill to create this and post it? Apologies if it’s a bit of a stupid question I just don’t want any issues in the future with copyright and stuff <\3
the magnus archives is a podcast distributed by rusty quill and licensed under a creative commons attribution non-commercial share-alike 4.0 international license
that means that you can use anything from it so long as it is 1) attributed to the source and 2) not for commercial purposes
but more importantly, even if the source material is not under a creative commons license or in the public domain, fanfic is generally protected as transformative work and thus as fair use. unless you are straight-up plagiarizing or trying to make money off of fic containing copyrighted material (this is why ao3 has to have quite strict rules about this sort of thing), you never have to ask the original writer for permission to post. nor should you! have fun

Hi, prev anon venting about the Timkon vs Batjokes poll here: would actually find it very interesting to read some analysis on the rising anti mentality, actually. I've been in fandom for a long time, so I do remember when it wasn't like this, and for a while I was like "it's fine, just block and move on, don't engage, it's fine". But IS it fine?? Fans of more complex and not easily digestible ships... we block and ignore and create our own little niches, but at this point I've seen too many cases of shippers saying they're AFRAID of publically liking something darker just because they might get harassed. This shit is getting genuinely harrowing to real alive people, to the point where some poor fans actually buy the bullshit of "you're a bad person if you like That Bad Ship" as if thought crimes exist and we're in the damn 18th century. It's definitely worth studying this phenomenon in fandom because then maybe we can figure out how to fix this? Fandom is supposed to be fun... Lol, really long way of saying that those texts would be cool to see, thank you guys!
Sure!
Here's a huge library of sources about media literacy, lgbtq+ issues, fandom and fan culture. We definitely recommend checking it out!
Under the cut is the list of articles focused specifically on the phenomenon of antishipping. Please keep in mind that some of these articles are master's theses or doctoral dissertations and that we didn't fully read all of them. This is just a general list of what we've found.

How to Solve Overheating Issues in Electrical Panels

Electrical panels are the nerve centers of industrial, commercial, and residential power systems. Their reliability is crucial, yet one of the most common and dangerous issues that can arise is overheating. Left unaddressed, overheating in electrical panels can lead to equipment failure, costly downtime, fires, or even fatal accidents. Understanding the root causes and adopting preventive as well as corrective measures is essential to ensure electrical safety and operational efficiency.
Causes of Overheating in Electrical Panels
To solve the problem of overheating, we must first identify its sources. Some of the most common causes include:
1. Loose or Corroded Connections
Electrical current encounters resistance at loose or oxidized joints. This resistance generates heat, especially under load, leading to localized hotspots which may not be visible until failure occurs.
2. Overloaded Circuits
Each circuit is rated for a specific current. Drawing more current than the rated capacity results in excess heat generation within breakers, busbars, and wires.
3. Inadequate Ventilation
Poor airflow in and around the panel restricts natural or forced heat dissipation. In high ambient temperature environments, this can quickly push the panel beyond safe thermal limits.
4. Improper Component Sizing
Undersized breakers, conductors, or transformers struggle to handle load currents, leading to thermal stress and degradation over time.
5. Dust and Contamination
Dust accumulation acts as an insulating layer, trapping heat inside components. Combined with humidity or oil vapors, this can further degrade insulation and create tracking paths.
How to Identify Overheating Problems
1. Thermal Imaging
Using infrared thermography is one of the most effective ways to detect hotspots. It provides a non-contact, real-time temperature map of the panel and highlights abnormally heated components.
2. Manual Temperature Monitoring
For panels without thermal sensors, regularly measuring surface temperatures using contact thermometers can provide early warnings of rising heat levels.
3. Visual Inspection
Signs like discoloration, melted insulation, or the smell of burning plastic indicate overheating. Ensure regular visual checks are part of your maintenance routine.
Solutions to Overheating in Electrical Panels
1. Tighten and Maintain Electrical Connections
Schedule regular maintenance to tighten terminals and busbar connections. Apply proper torque settings using calibrated tools to avoid over- or under-tightening.
2. Balance and Distribute Loads
Ensure that the load across phases is balanced. Uneven distribution causes one phase to overwork, which leads to overheating and inefficiency.
3. Upgrade Panel Capacity
If the electrical demand exceeds the panel’s rated capacity, consider upgrading to a higher-rated panel or adding sub-panels to spread the load.
4. Enhance Cooling and Ventilation
· Install forced ventilation systems like exhaust fans or panel coolers.
· Use heat exchangers or air conditioners in environments with high ambient temperatures.
· Ensure adequate spacing between panels and walls for natural convection.
5. Use Appropriately Rated Components
All breakers, fuses, contactors, and wiring must match the system’s voltage and current ratings. Derate components appropriately if operating in high-temperature environments.
6. Install Thermal Sensors or Smart Monitoring
Modern panels can be equipped with thermal sensors that provide real-time data to a building management system (BMS) or SCADA. This allows predictive maintenance before issues escalate.
Preventive Measures and Best Practices
· Design with Expansion in Mind: Avoid loading a panel to its full capacity. Always leave a 20–30% margin for future growth and safety.
· Implement a Routine Maintenance Schedule: Quarterly or bi-annual inspections reduce the risk of unexpected failures.
· Train Maintenance Personnel: Staff should be equipped to detect early signs of thermal distress and follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
· Keep Panels Clean and Sealed: Use gasketed enclosures in dusty environments and clean panels regularly to prevent dust build-up.
Conclusion
Overheating in electrical panels is a preventable issue that, if neglected, can have severe consequences. By adopting systematic inspection routines, upgrading infrastructure as needed, and leveraging modern monitoring technologies, businesses and facility managers can safeguard both equipment and personnel. The key is proactive action: identify, analyze, correct, and prevent — the four pillars of managing thermal risk in electrical systems.

@sadcatprince hi, i'm moving this conversation to tumblr posts because tumblr replies are horrible and this would quickly become a tangled mess otherwise.
i am available if you would like to have a chill discussion and my offer to help de-escalate your arguments with other members of AWAY still stands.
long post below the cut.
The issue is I think "experimenting with AI" can very quickly become a way to just turn your brain off and avoid the introspection the art practice is meant to encourage.
ok, well i disagree with several of your premises here. 1- i don't think art is intrinsically a practice that is "meant" to encourage introspection and discourage "turning your brain off". that seems extremely reductive. art is an activity humans engage in. it can have all sorts of purposes and can involve 0% or 100% of your brain. trying to "turn your brain off" and exercise minimal thinking is a pretty important part of automatist techniques in surrealist art, for example.
2- i don't think experimenting with AI is "very quickly" liable to turn people's brains off. like, this is a vibes-based observation, not supported by the studies we have so far.
The human capacity to anthropomorphize and experience a false sense of accomplishment because of a dopamine rush NEED to be mitigated through thorough FREQUENT criticism of this technology.
3- when we feel that "people doing art wrong, not learning from art, experiencing unearned happiness, or missing out on spiritually fulfilling journeys" it's not those people's problems. some people simply find different aspects of the human experience fulfilling or have different priorities in life.
it is not your place - or mine - to determine whose satisfaction is "real" and whose is "false", and i think poking one's nose in other people's activities to remind them that their satisfaction is false, and the joy they express joy is unearned, is pretty damaging to everyone involved.
even if this unearned satisfaction caused measurable harm, which it doesn't, it cannot be "mitigated through thorough frequent criticism of the technology", that is not how you change people's behaviors.
it seems like a really nasty side effect of our society to turn an act of consumption (requesting an image from an AI) into a "creative" activity. there's a DISTINCTION between art creation and consumption. Reading a book isn't creative. Nor is playing a video game. These are still fun hobbies you can have.
4- consumption is always in the mind of the beholder, it is not objective and measurable. taking random pictures with your phone can be a ravenous act. playing a video game can be a form of artistic expression - character creators, sandboxes, speedrunning, or just developing a unique competitive playstyle that expresses your personality and aesthetics. and so on.
personally i'm a programmer and RPG designer: i think generating d&d ideas with dice and random tables, markov chains, procedural algorithms or simple neural networks is creation, not consumption, and doing this with a pretrained transformer neural network is no different. these are all creative activities to me.
The issue is when you call requesting images an "artform".
5- why is that an issue? is this creating harm, or is this just annoying? again: i'm a game programmer. i "request images" without using AI all the time, for example when i procedurally generate a game texture or a level layout.
it's generally accepted, in tech and art, that the result of computer instructions is art: see, for example, fractal art and (non-AI, generally procedural) generative art. i see no meaningful difference between writing these instructions in English to AI software, or in C# to 'regular' software.
requesting objects at a source and presenting them as your artwork is also an established non-digital art form (see: the famous works of Marcel Duchamp or Félix González-Torres). i understand that you don't respect the art world for its money laundering, but you're saying things like they're obvious when they've been a subject of artistic debate for over a century now.
If you really ARENT generating images to be "meaningful art" that distinction should NOT be a problem for you.
6- well, i don't really care about meaning. i think meaningless art is pretty cool! abstract art, "you sir are a space too!" and all that.
Just like a person with a healthy outlook on human relationships whos just "playing with AI chatbots" shouldn't react so aggressively when I point out they arent talking to a REAL person.
7- this is a normal thing to do to a friend and a very weird thing to tell a stranger though. you understand why "hey, this fake thing you're doing is fake, are you aware of that? just checking that you're not totally disconnected from reality. if you get mad at me for asking, it's your fault" sounds weird right?
i don't know what interactions you're referring to exactly but i think maybe people have a reason to be frustrated with this behavior, especially if you use the same angle of approach as in your original ask.
Like all of you keep saying "its not meaningful it's not DEEP im not that ATTATCHED to my work".
8- i don't know who is saying that. personally i'm not saying that. i like my work! i have some attachment to it. some of my work is meaningful or even deep. though, i don't think all works have to be.
so why do you care if it's art? Why do you care if its creative?
9- well, everyone has different answers to this, but if by "you" you mean AWAY: AWAY's mission is to ask questions and spark conversation, to help people use AI ethically, and also to offer a view of AI as a fun thing you can use to express yourself artistically.
personally, i think it's overall good for society when people discover new ways to create things and find fulfilling activities on the computer. i also think it's generally good for culture when art communities are open-minded about the definitions of "art" and "artists": this enables the cross-pollination of ideas from different fields, or collaborations between different types of artists, which are things i find cool and valuable.
If you really have no skin in this being a form of meaningful self expression... me pointing out AI is a consumptive activity and not a creative one shouldn't bother you. If it does... idk..
10- personally i'm not bothered, i have no issue with your definition of art, how you relate to art, and what you believe is or isn't art. it makes me a little sad, but only in the same way that someone confronting a "video games are art" group by saying "hey guys! you're wrong btw! video games aren't art!" does. like, that's a shame and i would love to have a chat with that person and change their mind about video games, but it's not a big deal.
maybe be more honest with yourself about your creative needs and pick up a pencil. Im not going to sugarcoat things to spare your feelings, so you can get away false sense of creative accomplishment from typing a search request into an algorithm.
11- this is what i take issue with. if you're trying to have a "discussion", as you said, then don't assume everyone who disagrees with you doesn't already have a creative hobby, don't accuse people of lying to themselves, and don't justify that by saying "i'm just telling it how it is, just making you confront the harsh truth".
this isn't just inappropriate, it also makes for a very ineffective conversation. whatever goals you have with this conversation (changing minds, gaining information, etc), you're not going to achieve them that way. unless your goal is to be rude at people online, and feel justified when they're rude in return or decide you're not worth talking to.
but you've been curious enough to check my blog and read my essay about art, so i get the feeling you are interested in this conversation. if you set aside the snide - sorry, "non sugarcoated" remarks, and tell me your goals for this conversation, we can continue. if not, this seems like a good place to stop.

So I thought I'd make a post on this as it's been a minute since the season 3 trailer dropped and what I'll be talking about was something that was making the rounds and I thought I'd say something when the craze had died down; but amongst the various topics of conversation, weirdly Colin's virginity seems to have come up, along with the general nature of his sexual experience. So be warned I'm going to be referring to spoilers at points from what's been posted by others on here and on Reddit, I'll leave a gap between this paragraph and the next so there you go, read at your own discretion. (note: post may be long, whoops)
So even if you've remained away from spoilers and seen only the trailer and other official promo stuff, it's clear that Colin has returned from his travel's more experienced this time in more ways than one, namely it is clear that he has been deflowered (kind of hate this term but I couldn't think of something else), and beyond that he's then also become particularly experienced in the bedroom and in the ways of charming women and such. I've seen some people say that they wished he'd still been a virgin more so because they would've found the dynamic of both him and Penelope being virgins something interesting to see as a shift from dynamics of previous seasons, and whilst I don't necessarily hate that, what's disturbed me is the way other people have had such a visceral reaction to Colin having any involvement with any other woman ever and getting ridiculously angry; which is funny when really they should be seen as interesting points of character development. In episode 1 of season 3 he returns home obviously looking as he does now and there's the whole sequence of the dropped glove that he picks up and kisses the hand of the lady in question it belongs to, Colin has returned feeling he has a solid sense of himself but also thinks himself untethered to the necessity of connection in order to engage in sex or even just flirtation, but this is important as the season progresses. In episode 2 from what I've read, he visits a brothel in which he pays for the services of a woman who works there, everything goes fine, I don't know exactly how much we will see of that encounter but it'll probably be enough; also to note, the source of this information stated very clearly that this interaction and a following one in episode 4 do not bear significance or even compare on what we will get with Polin in terms of an array of content that this season delivers.
Speaking of episode 4, reportedly he goes again but this time he's unable to engage as well as he did before and without a doubt this is due to Penelope. Additionally, this is an interesting look at sex in terms of it just being for gratification, and sex in terms of connection, a means to an end versus an act of love. In previous seasons, the depiction of brothels/sex work establishments doesn't really bear the same importance plot wise (side note I am not nor should you go shaming these people in that line of work as it's one that deserved respect like any other, it is simply functioning as a part of the conversation here), unlike here where I think that it's really important as it show's Colin's inner need for connection in order for it to work, because when he was away he probably had no issues getting his kicks because he convinced himself this felt right and back home would be no different, but that only lasts briefly and why you may ask? because the friend who he'd left and returned to transforms from a woman only in name to a woman in fully realised form, from a wallflower into an Emerald, and this kicks into gear the real maturity he needed to gain, realising from not just her appearance but the other qualities she possesses and the ways in which he is both attached and attracted to her, that she is who he has truly loved this whole time, he just needed to get out of his own head. It should also be pointed out that in the show, Colin has always drifted with finding himself let alone sorting out his feelings, so it is highly likely whilst he was technically violating polite society rules with his interactions with Penelope and this should've fired something off in his brain, that it caused him instead to think this is simply something that someone does with a friend they value highly versus being a by-product of his underlying feelings that he has with no one else. And as such, whereas Penelope was the one pining before, now he will be the one doing so and he's no longer on the pedestal he was previously so they'll be on even ground to start something real.
On a quick note, this is a friends to lovers ship but I want to make it clear, especially with men and women dynamics, that not all friends are going to have this trajectory whether we're talking about characters or irl people; friends to lovers tropes should be understood as two people who's connection starts with friendship and there's always a sense it could be something more whether or not both parties are consciously aware and it's to do with how they explore that, and is NOT in any way the case that these friends can somehow never be just friends with a strong connection, case and point Penelope and Morgan from Criminal Minds, close friends and nothing more and they're great.
Something also to say is that the obsession with Colin's sexual experience is just as bad as they way women are treated for their sexual experience, it creates this weird value and attributes a weird rating system of respect to something that's not our business, as well as fetishizing what people do or don't do with their bodies and making assumptions about their activities, so you know maybe we should agree to not do that. Beyond that, how about we actually watch what happens instead of spiralling out of control about this stuff. Also, if I see anyone who aren't fans of this ship to begin with, just leave, you're wasting energy on something that you literally don't need to be, do what the rest of us do and exit out and invest your time in what you actually enjoy instead of festering hate.

A List of Transformers Halloween Episodes Currently Officially Available on YouTube! (With Some Important Notes on Transmutate)
Since the Hasbro official YouTube channels have put up a ton of various Transformers media, including Halloween specials from multiple TF shows, I figured I'd link them here for Spooky Season hype! :)
Some of these episodes are not explicitly Halloween Specials, but are rather episodes known to give off a creepy/horror vibe.
I have not included any episodes from Energon, Armada, etc. because I can't seem to find them on YouTube at the moment.
Each spooky episode has been listed in chronological order of release!
That having been said, enjoy! <3
Transformers Halloween Episodes
Transformers G1 - Dweller in the Depths (Season 3 Episode 18)
Beast Wars - Call of the Wild (Season 1 Episode 19) (this one's not technically on a Hasbro channel but IDK,it's a 4K remaster which I think was made by fans, not 100% sure)
Transformers Animated - Along Came a Spider (Season 1 Episode 9) (this one's not technically on a Hasbro channel either, IDK how it's still up)
Transformers Prime - Thirst (Season 3 Episode 8)
Rescue Bots - Feed the Beast (Season 2 Episode 9)
Rescue Bots Academy - Trick or Treat (Season 1 Episode 26)
Important Note: Beast Wars, Ableism in Horror Media, and Transmutate
Some people find the Transmutate episode to be the scariest episode of Beast Wars. At the time, most fans would have agreed with that.
However, this always felt somewhat uncomfortable to me due to the fact that the perceived horror in that episode comes from a combination of the animation/character design, some less-than-great implications of the plot/resolution to the episode, and the fact that she is suggested to be developmentally disabled as being a source of "horror", so especially as a disabled person myself, I don't want to feed into that.
It feels ableist to me (although at the time in the 90s it was very progressive to include disabled characters in anything at all, I find the way it was done in Beast Wars with Transmutate to be somewhat uncomfortable especially in retrospect), to the degree that I'm not including that episode on this list despite the fact that it is infamous for being "scary".
Generally, there is a common problem of depictions of disability in horror themed media being used as a source of fear or shock value to a presumed-abled audience, which is often ableist in that the disability (or features/traits commonly associated with various disabilities) are treated as a source of repulsion or cause of terror in and of themselves, which needless to say, is in poor taste at best and outright offensive at worst.
This issue is part of why I'm a bit wary of Transmutate being included in any Transformers horror lists, as she is heavily implied to have multiple disabilities, and at the very least, some traits associated with certain disabilities are used to intentionally make her character seem strange and othered in comparison to the main cast, which feels a little... Hmmm.
Additional Context: Disability Rights and The Impact on Media Inclusivity
Now, to be fair, Transmutate is by far not the worst depiction of a disabled character in 90s media. Not by a long shot.
And it is important to remember that it was around the start of the 90s that more shows started to make an effort to include disabled characters at all--
--In the USA, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was only introduced and passed as civil rights law in 1990, and Transformers as a whole has historically attempted to include disabled characters (including Chip Chase in G1, back in the 80s) long before it was normal or expected in any way to have a disabled character as part of any show's main cast (especially on a recurring basis).
So generally, Transformers has been very progressive about including disability and disabled characters in various TF shows and media, but the bar historically was set unfortunately low across the board, and any attempts at disability inclusion in any television media at all are relatively recent when you take into consideration how long TV has been around and how few disabled characters there are in TV media.
Transmutate is a very interesting and unique case, and should be viewed with the contextual knowledge that disabled people only gained basic rights in the USA eight years prior to the premiere of the episode.
Most shows did not have openly disabled staff on their production teams, including writers or artists, but as there was still a fear of being fired for disclosing disabilities well into the 90s (remember, the ADA was brand new), we'll likely never know how many disabled people worked in media production or animation at the time. I don't know if any of the staff working on Beast Wars may have been disabled, or familiar with any of the disability traits they either intentionally or unintentionally gave Transmutate.
And it's worth remembering that abled fans used to be absolutely fucking awful in general whenever a disabled character was included in anything.
One 90s show that did have disabled staff working on the inclusion of a disabled character was Extreme Ghostbusters, which introduced Garrett Miller, a wheelchair user and Ghostbuster. This was met with unholy, vitriolic, highly vocal backlash from abled fans, which was generally a fucking nightmare to witness as a disabled fan. I can only imagine how the disabled staff members felt.
Keep in mind, the Extreme Ghostbusters backlash happened in 1997. Beast Wars came out in 1996, but the Transmutate episode was in production and aired in 1998 -- AFTER the introduction of Garrett and the associated ableist shitstorm.
So I honestly give Beast Wars credit for even daring to include a character like Transmutate who is suggested to have both physical and cognitive disabilities-- Especially because depictions of cognitive disability/developmental disability/etc. in media are still so fucking rare, and including a character like this in your show could get you absolutely shit on by your audience. Because oh my god, abled fans were unbelievably awful about this kind of thing at the time.
Back in the day, abled audiences used to get really, really fucking angry if disabled characters were introduced. All sorts of awful ableist shit. So it's worth knowing that this is part of why a lot of disabled characters in the 90s were only featured in one-off episodes, typically killed off to reassure the ableist fans that they wouldn't have to see that character return again.
If that makes you mad, good, because it sucked. I was a disabled kid in the 90s watching all this shit at the time. It was not great.
I don't know if any fear of the type of backlash that Extreme Ghostbusters got was part of the decision making with the Transmutate character or episode, but it wouldn't surprise me--
--Of course, that assumes that the Beast Wars crew were aware of the implications of certain choices they made with the design and character traits they gave Transmutate, and I don't know, the 90s were a rough time for disability awareness. I'm not sure if they fully realised how that episode or character might come across when viewed through a disability-aware lens.
I don't think the Beast Wars crew were being malicious at all-- In fact, the opposite!
The inclusion of a disabled character at all in any way was still very innovative at the time (it should not have been so rare, but it was), and when I watched the episode when it originally aired, I remembered thinking it was a really good and emotional depiction of a disabled character.
I still think this, personally, because disability awareness did not really exist in the 90s unless you yourself were disabled (or had a friend/family member who was). I didn't expect any show to do it right, and at least Beast Wars did it with compassion and a clear attempt to make Transmutate a likable (if potentially unsettling) character deserving of friendship and compassion (although the compassion may come across as purely pity, which is also not necessarily great).
I have to say, I personally love Transmutate. I could relate to a lot of aspects of their character and experience with struggling to understand or effectively communicate with the others, in particular; I'm Autistic, and I've heard similar praise of the character from some other Autistic fans.
In the 90s, any representation at all was considered good representation, for the most part, and this is partially because we were so fucking hungry for representation in general and there was a real vibe that since the ADA got passed, maybe we could actually get some legit representation. Holy shit! And Beast Wars did a pretty good job, all things considered.
But the potentially ableist implications are there, especially when most people still seem to agree that Transmutate is "scary" to them-- You have to look at WHY people think this character is scary.
For some people, this is because of the character's design purely because it was so starkly different from all the other main cast designs. For some it's the animation which comes across as particularly creepy, which that's a little more understandable as the entire show can sometimes fall into the uncanny valley a bit. And that's all totally fine!
But for other people, it's the character's mannerisms and physical differences which inherently provide the horror for them, and that's what I find potentially ableist in the context of everything I've said above.
I have no idea how modern audiences would perceive Transmutate, but I do find a lot of the comments on the Chris McFeely Transmutate episode of Transformers: The Basics to be very interesting. Most are very positive-- Which is good! :)
I will make a separate post about Transmutate at some point in the future, as I do want to give the episode and character their due spotlight and a more thorough analysis at some point.
But anyway, I just wanted to explain my reasoning here, because I know someone will eventually mention Transmutate as being the famously "terrifying" episode of Beast Wars, and I don't think it's actually a horror themed episode. I think it just freaked people out, for various reasons, but I hope you can see why that might come across as... possibly not good.
So, Why "Call of the Wild"? What Makes It Not Ableist?
I think Call of the Wild provides more of a tension-based fear which is felt by the characters themselves, centred around the actual challenge of the episode and the concept of forced loss of identity (going feral), which is a less ableist horror plot all around.
Despite Transmutate's reputation for being "the scariest Beast Wars episode", I think that Call of the Wild is a more appropriate choice for a horror media list. It contains actual horror tropes, and touches on a real world common fear (loss of identity) as a primary theme of the episode.
While a sense of lost identity or loss of self-control (emotional regulation, etc.) are also part of some real world disabilities, in the context in which these tropes are used in Call of the Wild, it is not ableist because it does not resemble any of these real world conditions. It is depicted in a way that is unique to their situation, and is dependent on having a beast alt-mode-- Things that cannot be replicated in real life.
Whereas with Transmutate, real world people can and do have developmental disabilities or similar conditions. Neurodivergent people are certainly real (I myself am one, lol), and some of Transmutate's character traits which are intended to make her come across as "odd" and potentially "disturbing" closely resemble these real world traits.
Therefore, Transmutate's traits being depicted or described as "creepy" can potentially harm real world people, as there is a resemblance to real neurodivergent and otherwise disabled traits that actual human beings have, and which have been used against people in discriminatory ways both historically and in the modern day.
Using these traits as a way to other Transmutate and set them apart in a seemingly intentionally unsettling way can be hurtful to watch if you yourself have those traits, whereas depicting beastformers going feral is not potentially harmful to real human beings.
TL;DR Conclusion: oh god this post got long
Simply put, Call of the Wild plays on real fears in a purely fictional manner.
Transmutate, on the other hand, can be interpreted as potentially ableist due to the episode's use of real world traits associated with various disabilities as a way to single out the character in a way that can come across as scary and repulsive, which can be hurtful for some people who have some of these traits in real life.
Transmutate was handled better than most media involving disabled characters at the time the episode originally aired, as mentioned previously, but still.
Personally I love Transmutate, possibly because I saw it during it's original airing back when media was, let's say, less than inclusive and TV media was still struggling very much with trying to figure out how to handle disability without fucking it up completely. I identified with Transmutate, and I still love the character to this day.
But especially as a disabled person myself, I can see how it is hit or miss with other disabled fans-- Particularly those of us who lived through a lot of the 90s era ableist ignorance/90s backlash against disabled characters in general--And I don't want to ruin anyone's Halloween by bringing up shitty memories or negative real world experiences. <3
Therefore, to avoid any potential bad vibes, I have chosen Call of the Wild as the spooky season episode of choice for Beast Wars!

This turned into a very long post-- Thank you to anyone who stuck around and actually read any of this!!! <3

You’re welcome. I’m glad that hear all that. Also I feel like yhwach is a fave villain of mine. Which I feel is an unpopular conscientious.
also I still wonder, where in yhwach is the b sound. As in dub and Jpn I hear the Bach when he’s referred to by name.
Oh, I can actually answer this one!
Yhwach canonically was named after the God his people worshiped, which considering his name and the general Quincy aesthetic pretty much has to be the Judeo-Christian God.
Now, the funny thing about God is that there's a reason He's called God, and it stems from an ancient Jewish taboo on using God's true name. Perhaps as a part of an effort to identify God as the one true God, when surrounding religions had many. Nonetheless, God has a name, which is generally given in the Hebrew Bible as יהוה, or YHWH.
You'll notice there are no vowels there. That's because Biblical Hebrew doesn't have any consistent method for indicating vowels, and while later versions of the Hebrew Bible did include vowels, the taboo on saying the name out loud meant that rather than write in the vowels, the transcribers (often rabbis) would instruct the reader to instead say "Adonai", or "my Lord", which is why in English bibles you will often see the small-caps LORD in its place.
Modern scholars, drawing from a variety of extrabiblical sources, tend to think that YHWH was pronounced "Yahweh". But medieval scholars, not having those sources, resorted to using the vowels of "Adonai" as their pronunciation guide. They also pronounced the "י" more like a Latin "J", and the "ו" more like a Latin "V", with the result being that during the Reformation, the name "Jehovah" was used to translate YHWH as the Bible came into the common vernacular.
It's fallen out of favor in recent years, as the scholarly consensus has coalesced around "Yahweh", and most Bibles will simply dodge the issue and use LORD. But you still see it around, most commonly in the name of Jehovah's Witnesses, a Christian group which 1) aggressively evangelizes across the world; 2) refuses to recognize any worldly authority without the kingdom of heaven, and 3) believe in the imminent unification of heaven with earth and the transformation of the world into a paradise without death.
Jehovah's Witnesses actually have a fairly strong presence in Japan, with 214,000 members that came under increased scrutiny fairly recently. Anyways, "Jehovah" is spelled "エホバ", or "Ehoba" in Japanese, which is where the B comes from (Japanese not having a native "v" sound).
#bleach#ask Troius#the degree to which the Wandenreich is specifically referencing Jehovah's Witnesses needs more attention IMO#I think part of it is that what JW are known for in the US is very different than in Japan?#like in the US we tend to think of them as pacifists who don't do blood transfusions#which is sort of the opposite of the Wandenreich

Emergency Electrical Solutions for Businesses: Be Prepared for Power Failures
A power failure can severely impact business operations, causing downtime, revenue loss, and safety risks. Having a plan in place for electrical emergencies is crucial for minimizing disruptions. Hiring a reliable emergency electrician in Red Deer ensures quick response times and professional solutions to restore power safely. Businesses must be proactive in addressing electrical risks to maintain continuity and protect assets.
Common Causes of Business Power Failures
Understanding the causes of power failures helps businesses prepare for emergencies and reduce risks. The most common causes include:
1. Weather-Related Issues
Storms, heavy winds, and lightning strikes can damage power lines and transformers, leading to outages. Businesses should invest in surge protectors and backup power systems to mitigate the impact of weather-related disruptions.
2. Electrical Overloads
Using too many high-power devices simultaneously can overload circuits, causing tripped breakers or equipment failures. Upgrading electrical panels and distributing loads effectively can prevent overload issues.
3. Faulty Wiring and Aging Infrastructure
Old or poorly maintained wiring increases the risk of short circuits, overheating, and fire hazards. Regular inspections by professional electricians help identify and replace outdated electrical components.
4. Utility Failures
Grid failures or transformer issues from the utility provider can lead to unexpected power outages. Businesses should have contingency plans in place, such as backup generators and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
5. Equipment Malfunctions
Power surges, faulty electrical components, or system failures can disrupt operations. Routine maintenance and surge protection systems help reduce the risk of equipment-related power failures.
The Importance of Emergency Electrical Solutions
Power failures can be costly and dangerous for businesses. Implementing emergency electrical solutions ensures:
Minimal Downtime — Quick restoration of power to prevent business interruptions.
Employee and Customer Safety — Reduces risks associated with sudden outages and electrical hazards.
Protection of Equipment — Prevents damage to sensitive electrical systems and machinery.
Regulatory Compliance — Meets safety codes and business continuity requirements.
Best Practices for Emergency Electrical Preparedness
1. Backup Power Systems
Investing in generators or UPS systems provides an immediate power source during outages. These solutions help maintain essential operations, such as lighting, security systems, and IT infrastructure.
2. Regular Electrical Inspections
Routine inspections by licensed electricians ensure that wiring, panels, and backup systems are functioning properly. Preventative maintenance helps identify and fix potential issues before they cause major failures.
3. Emergency Lighting Systems
Installing emergency lighting ensures visibility and safety during power failures. Exit signs, stairway lighting, and battery-operated lights help guide employees and customers to safety.
4. Surge Protection Devices
Power surges can damage expensive equipment and disrupt business operations. Surge protectors and voltage regulators help prevent damage caused by sudden electrical spikes.
5. Employee Training on Electrical Safety
Educating employees on power failure protocols ensures a quick and organized response. Training should cover:
Locating and operating emergency shutoffs.
Safe evacuation procedures.
Reporting electrical hazards immediately.
Choosing the Right Emergency Electrician in Red Deer

Why TFP Doesn't Work For Me Anymore:
Hello, Hola, こんにちは。
Welcome back to this side of the Hundred Acre Woods. I do miss the feeling of writing on Tumblr here, so from here on and for a New Years resolution, I’ll try to write a new post every other week with thoughts I’ve had since December 2022. A lot has happened since I’ve started grad school and I have a part time job now, so there will be periods of inactivity. Hopefully, my writing can reflect my current opinions right to the best of my abilities, and I hope that you all enjoy them.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
Alright, let’s cut to the chase: I kind of think Transformers Prime isn’t good, to me at least. Let me make it very clear: just because I don’t like it doesn’t mean you should stop loving it. After all, the world would be boring if we all shared the same opinion. I’m letting you all right now: I will be dropping a lot of bombshells that will rub off some of you the wrong way. For that, I advise skipping out on this one. Anyways…Transformers Prime is objectively a good show. The animation is the show’s biggest strengths, characters like Ratchet, Knockout, and Dreadwing are fun and interesting, the humor is good, I appreciate its commitment to darker subject matter, and several episodes such as, “Thirst” and “Stronger, Faster” are perhaps one of the best pieces of Transformers media in general. But…at the same time, it’s kind of messy.
From a lack of commitment to storylines to characters that don't feel put together to having stuff that screams Unfortunate Implications to its ending, Transformers Prime is a show that I stray from the more I get older and I have exposure to more Transformers media. On one hand, I appreciate this show being the reason why I got back into Transformers and hell, it’s a part of my username after all aksksksksksjsjsjsjsjsjkakakasa. It also made an impact on Transformers through characters like Knockout appearing in other media. On the other hand, I felt like its godlike status doesn’t make it exempt from criticism. No media is truly perfect, and it’s about time I get into the nitty gritty of why I’m not fond of TFP. Even if you don’t agree with me, at least hear me out.
3, 2, 1, Pingu.
MY FINISH-
My main problem with Transformers Prime is the lack of commitment to furthering certain storylines as well as character growth. Sure, there is character growth from characters such as Arcee and storylines like Starscream trying to be the boss he wanted to be are quite entertaining. However, at the same time, its commitment to its own status quo made this show an entire chore to watch. It felt like a majority of characters are still the same ol by the end of the series, like it felt like what could’ve been sources of character growth are instead ignored in the next episode. The Bulkhead getting sick storyline is the best example of this issue. At one point in Season 2, Bulkhead got infected with toxic energon and it seemed like he would have to stay behind on base. On paper, it’s an interesting premise. It could give him a storyline of feeling insecure over no longer being the bruiser of the team, and learning to overcome these insecurities through ways such as recognizing his other strengths. At the same time, Miko deals with her anxiety over Bulkhead’s predicament and the episode, “Hurt” is the proof of the writing potential here. However, it ended up being resolved too quickly after Smokescreen entered the picture. Bulkhead ended up recovering from his illness rather quickly and his small feud with Smokescreen is over and the next episode, they’re kiking with each other.
Along with other storylines such as the Orion Pax arc, Starscream becoming a neutral at one point, and the Predacons arc, the entire show is like this. It also doesn’t help that characters like Breakdown and Airachnid are thrown to the side, mainly due to their voice actors being too expensive to hire. Meanwhile, other characters like Dreadwing were also killed off due to the show refusing to change the status quo for the sake of furthering the story. And why is this the problem? Well…this show is one of the most notorious examples of Troubled Production.
In shorter words, the show experienced a lot of production trouble in the writing and budget department, which is mostly John Hasbro’s doing. The company meddled one too many times throughout the show’s entire run, especially with the casting and writing. Originally, the third season was supposed to be about pirates, but a new director was then hired and they basically said, “nope, fuck that,” and made the entire team rewrite the story from scratch. It’s gotten so bad that an ex crew member created an entire ass binder of everything that went wrong. Just, my god...
The amount of production issues definitely reflected in the show itself. Its strict adherence to Status Quo Is God, having what seems to be a game changing storyline and doing nothing with it, is so frustrating, because the potential of the writing is there. It wants to say something, but couldn’t because the problem behind the curtain is too much to ignore.
"It's Knockout's fault." "Precisely, my-WHAT!?"
First things first, I hate Jack.
Next.
Most of the cast is fine. Ratchet and Knockout are the best characters of their respective character groups, Fowler is the best human character, Miko & Raf are precious, Bee, Arcee, Bulkhead, Wheeljack, and Smokescreen are enduring and likable, Shockwave, Starscream, Soundwave, and Breakdown are the scene stealers besides the best characters I mentioned. Unfortunately, due to the aforementioned production issues, these characters made me ask one question: who are they? Not only does the writing and story never commit to the biggest twists the shows set up, but it never explores any of the characters’ story arcs and motivations. We never learn anything about these people. True, characters like Miko and Ratchet do get character development. However, with characters like Arcee and Starscream, their pain are the only focus that is, “character growth.” Arcee is reduced to her trauma of losing her partners, and the show never allowed her time to grieve properly. In fact, it seems to condemn her for acting like any other person who has to deal with their loved ones’ killers. By the end, her grief and learning to cope with it is pushed aside and it feels like Cliffjumper and Tailgate’s deaths amount to nothing. To have the most prominent female Transformer reduced to her pain is no different from making a female character in TFA be tied to a man’s pain. It’s kind of disgusting of the show to be so dismissive of her storyline like that. Like…I’m sorry, but she deserves fucking better. And it’s no different with Starscream. Homeboy endured so much horrific shit for far longer than is comfortable, and for the show to just push his pain as, “karma” is fucking disgusting. True, he ain’t no saint and he only has himself to blame for his flaws and behavior. However, by having him be the countless target of abuse throughout the show, it only made me want to help him leave the Decepticons for good. He deserves better. It’s why I appreciate Earthspark existing, because it called out his Butt Monkey status and shows how it deeply affects him. And speaking of who is responsible for dishing out this abuse, it’s time to speak about the one half of two characters whom I don’t especially kiki with.
Megatron is just an irredeemable monster here. I love truly despicable and evil characters as much as the next guy, but with this guy, he just feels so off. The jarring disconnect between his backstory and how much of a despicable piece of shit he is results in a character that felt too evil, not to mention filled with the Unfortunate Implications of having a revolutionary with strokes of current social issues turn into a flat out bad guy turned up to 100. Before any of you say, “erm, actually IT HAPPENS IN REAL LIFE” to me, let me point this out: I’m approaching this as a person of color. The revolutionary Megatron characterization is a trope that is botched most of the time, because it doesn’t have the nuance and approach that is required to pull it off. If done well, we have Earthspark Megatron (so far). As a result, we have TFP Megatron.
He’s just that: evil. It also doesn’t help that he has a half assed redemption arc in Predacons Rising. “I now know the true meaning of oppression.” BITCH, YOU FUCKING KILLED PEOPLE. This entire storyline doesn't make up for the utterly despicable shit he did throughout the series. With him still alive, it felt like he faced no consequences for his actions. Him dying and with his body on Earth, with the last face he saw being the one he brutalized the most, is an appropriate punishment! Yes, him being alive and dealing with the consequences of his actions is also a good punishment. However, with the sudden rush from point A to B, his resolve to self exile himself doesn’t feel earned. To me, he doesn’t seem like he’s truly sorry for his actions. Like…EWWW. Fuck out of here, he’ll never be Earthspark Megatron.
Yes, it’s a joy to see Frank Welker back as Megatron. Yes, he has admittingly few moments of being a delicious evil bastard. Yes, I do understand why some would like the redemption arc. However, for me, he doesn’t work for me.
Now to the other half, we get to the other half of the characters I don’t kiki with. Good lord…this Optimus is just ehhh. Except for the few moments of the same warmth I associate with Optimus, he is just there. He doesn’t feel like a character; he feels like the start of the motivations of other characters. He’s the Deus Ex Machina when the situation gets too serious. We never got any moment to truly know about him as a person, his dynamic with the team feel like they’re more coworkers like a family, and the “Primes don’t party” logic only feels like an excuse to justify him being the Stoic and Serious Optimus characterization that plagues the 2010s. When you compare him to other Optimi, it feels like a jarring disconnect. TFA Optimus shows that you can have an Optimus with a personality and Bayverse Optimus shows that you can have a stoic Optimus with more to him than meets the eye. Plus, moments such as his conversation with Arcee after the entire fiasco with Starscream in Season 1 just feels like condescending compassion at best. Sure, he has well meaning intentions. However, as the bestie Tea-mew explains, it comes across as him invalidating Arcee’s trauma. Just because he is an older figure doesn’t make him correct all the time. She doesn’t owe anything to Starscream and Airachnid, she has every right to feel angry and disgusted at them both. Just god, it’s this moment that pretty much made me decide not to vibe with him anymore. Plus, with how Orion Pax is more interesting and had more development than Optimus ever did, that’s when the writers should’ve looked at the script twice.
Yes, it’s a joy to see Peter Cullen as Optimus again. Yes, he has his fair share of charming moments. Yes, I understood that he has his own fair share of tragedies that made him the way he is. However, like Megatron, for me, he doesn’t work for me. Notice how I used the same wording here. For me, they both don’t work for me. They’re perhaps one of my least favorite versions of the characters, especially since other Transformers media showed that you can make them both interesting characters. Stoicism doesn’t justify blandness, and evilness doesn’t justify blandness. If you like them, that’s okay. I rather not bother with them both.
Welp, there goes my Twitter follower count.
There are other issues plaguing the series. As much of a fun and interesting character he is, Knockout is also a gay stereotype. I’ll talk about it more sometime in the future, but in shorter terms: this bit from the TFWiki on Knockout’s page is all you need to know.
“When asked at BotCon 2011, the Prime writers said that there is no designation for gay, or straight, for that matter, on Cybertron, where Transformers are created by the AllSpark, not through sexual reproductions. They also said that Knock Out is a knock out, and that the Nemesis is a very "don't ask, don't tell" place. And then they jokingly deflected the matter, claiming that Knock Out's mannerisms are not caused by any particular orientation, but are simply eccentricities caused by "a glitch in the AllSpark" the day he was created... which is unintentionally so insulting to gay people that it could create an awkward silence in the Void."
Okay, WHAT THE ACTUAL F-
Season 2 feels like a mish mash of things the writers were throwing at the board that day. While Season 3 hit the highs of Season 1, it's also a mish mash that is poorly constructed. We never really got closure on characters like Airachnid and Shockwave. Predacons Rising represents everything that affects Prime in the long run, except for a few gems throughout. Like I said, Prime is objectively a good show. However, compared to other Transformers shows, it’s an aesthetic, no substance type of show. If you wanna watch a show filled with a small cast of characters, set on Earth, deal with heavier subject matter, and have exciting moments, just go watch Beast Wars. This show feels like Transformers if it was written by a 12 year old edgelord. The show has a dark and brooding aesthetic, but the story really isn’t. It doesn’t have a lot to say about the premise of Transformers, as well as confusing violence and edginess for complex stories and characters. In fact, let me say this: TFP is too afraid to commit to change and it greatly suffers for it.
Conclusion: Once again…
I wanna make it clear again that just because I don’t like Transformers Prime doesn’t mean you should stop loving it. Don’t let my opinions influence yours. If you like, that’s great.
I felt bad about my current opinions about Prime as a whole because it does deserves its flowers and fanbase for what it does for Transformers as a whole. However, it’s also not a flawless masterpiece like everyone says it is.
I’m most likely never gonna rewatch it again cause it’s not my thing, and that’s okay. In case I do, I just watch clips of my favorite moments. The ultimate irony is that I have the initials of the show I don’t Kiki with anymore. I could change it, but it’s like the annoying younger sibling to me. I can’t really get rid of it aksksksk.
While I appreciate this show for getting me back into Transformers and for bringing characters like Knockout into mainline Transformers, it’s just not for me.
Anyways, Pingu.
