Sparda is such a wife guy. He really treasures his S/Os because of their mortality in comparison to his own. At any moment he may lose them and that is something that definitely eats at him. He doesn’t like to display his concern because of who he is and what he’s become, but it’s hard to ignore. His protectiveness of his S/O is cranked up to the max setting too once he’s claimed them. If someone or something hurts them, he gives it the most withering glare while having a totally relaxed and nonchalant face like.
“Ah! Pesky thing, we could really do without it, couldn’t we?”, he asks, just before he’s about to obliterate it.
The legendary dark knight doesn’t take very kindly to others being disrespectful to his love either: for example, let’s say if one of his sons were acting unruly and causing them trouble.
“Dante”, he starts, voice heavy with that deep growl and that certain look in his eyes. It’s all he needs at most to straighten out the wild child. He’s glad that he didn’t have to be so stern with Vergil who was more tame than his brother, but still.
There won’t be anyone in this world that should cause them grief but himself. He was rebellious in his youth and that carries over even now. It’s all in good fun, and if there is anything that they truly hate that he does, he’d cease it in an instant.

With all the talk about Sparda's fate lately, I'm imagining that there's a demonic afterlife where Sparda's just been waiting around.
Imagine Sparda laughing his ass off when Beowulf arrives, and tells him of his defeat at the hands of Dante and Vergil.
Imagine Sparda swelling with pride when Griffon arrives, and tells him how Dante showed him compassion, then seething with rage when Griffon tells him what Mundus has done to Vergil.
Imagine Sparda's heart soaring when his beloved wife - somehow - makes her way into the demon afterlife... Only to realize that she was someone else entirely. Imagine Sparda getting to know this young devil who, like himself, served Mundus before waking up to justice, and gave her life to defend his son. Imagine Sparda learning that Vergil was slain by none other than Dante, wondering why he never arrived - perhaps he is with his mother now? Imagine Sparda bidding this woman farewell, and wishing her luck finding a sense of home in the human world.
Imagine Sparda welcoming a young man-turned-demon who once served evil in his name, before giving his life to protect those he loved. Sparda learning from this man that he has another descendant, and realizing that he's a grandfather.

Hey, it's me, I was missing your writing, I live for your Sparda content and wanted to ask if you will write for Sparda... I loved Nevan...and was hoping to ask if you will write for Sparda...
We all know Nevan has a history with Sparda, as Sparda lived more than 2000 years, it must be as his lover or his mistress in the human or demon world...
So anything on how they met, their dynamic or anything...ofc if you choose to write..
Thanks so much, it makes me so happy to hear that! Normally I wouldn't write anything other than X Reader but I'm gonna make an exception. Hope you enjoy! 💜
Sparda x Nevan headcannons
-Sparda met Nevan in the demon world, naturally, as she returned from her succubi-related activities.
-Sparda never really thought much of the demon woman at first; he simply regarded her as another creature lower than him.
-Then he ran into her again, and again, and again, and again, almost as if fate had intended for them to meet.
-After much internal debate, Sparda decided to speak to this creature, perhaps to learn more about her.
-He soon discovered Nevan was seductive in more ways that just her body. Everything about her was flirtatious and interesting; every move she made kept Sparda guessing.
-He became drawn to her, infatuated even. Sparta wanted nothing more than to spend as much time as he could learning everything ne could about her.
-Knowing Nevan and her tricks, it was no surprise that their relationship soon escalated into passionate romance.
-Their love for one another, unfortunately, had to be kept secret. No one else could know of their feelings for each other, no matter what realm they came from. Nevan leveraged her succubus powers and appeared in Sparda's room at night whenever she wanted to visit, and Sparda would have her summoned to his domain for "urgent matters" whenever he wanted a taste of his favorite demon.
-Sparda also showered her with gifts and even gave her a well-respected position as the gate guardian of the Temen-ni-gru when he sealed it away.
-Nevan continued to be Sparda's favorite demon even after Eva became his favorite human. There was never a rule saying Sparda, the Legendary Dark Knight, couldn't have one woman of each species.
-After Sparda disappeared for good, Nevan was heartbroken. The only man she'd ever truly loved was gone forever, and there would be no way to truly replace him, even though his young son bore quite the resemblance.
-Nevan eventually decided to honor her love's memory by continuing her duties as Temen-ni-gru's guard, and later, after her demise, as a weapon serving Sparda's rambunctious child, Dante.

Little Devils meet Little Angels
Sparda
You have a thing for bugs, dilf's in monocles or maybe you just really want to bang dead beat dad's.
First Date:
Sparda has long been rumored dead so it's surprising when you find him all the way in Paradiso. Unfortunately for you he isn't interested since he left Eva for Balder of the Bayonetta universe and now helps care for his adopted daughter Ceraza. Turns out it's much easier to take care of a child locked in a cell then two twin demons who have a penchant for stabbing each other.
