If you had to assign d & p a colour, either pink or blue, who would get what and why?

Wow this is a really interesting question.

I mean there’s the obvious implication of gender roles here but I’ll just pretend that’s not a thing.

I think Dan would be pink. Pink reminds me of affection and warmth and even though Dan tries to be an edge lord we all know he’s actually soft and sweet and he loves Phil, platonically or not, no matter what he does. However, pink can also be more of a bolder, in your face color. Sure, when it’s a light shade like pastel or or valentines, it’s less intense, but it can be a very affronting color when it has to be. So even though its fluffy and soft, it can also be fiery and passionate. People tend to associate pink with one thing (again with the gender roles, really can’t deny they’re there) but it’s so much more, just like Dan is portrayed and seen one way but he clearly has more depth and emotion than we even come close to seeing.

Phil is blue. Blue is a bold yet mild color. A protective color. A color that makes me feel safe. For this one, I’m talking about my person opinion and how I feel about Phil. To me, Phil is safe and familiar and always cheers me up and makes me happy. He’s always been there for me to come to. Even after the few times when I lost interest in watching Dan and Phil’s videos, he was always there when I came back. After everything in my life changed and upended, Phil was there, still being happy, still reminding me that happiness exists. (Dan was there too of course, but in a different way that I could also go on and on about lol.) Blue reminds me of the sky, water, calm, peace, and an old blanket I had when I was a child. Phil is all that and more. I think you get the point omg I could go on for hours about how much I love Phil (and Dan too, but again that’s a whole different story).
