Losers Club Minecraft Headcannons

Richie

Constantly hopping up and down with out any signs of stopping. He is literally unable of walking anywhere in minecraft, and he constantly crouches and uncrouches whenever he has to stand still. If he stops being stimulated for one moment he wants to punch things.

Had a serious tnt and flint and steel problem at one point, now it's a server rule to limit his tnt usage and keep it far away from everyone's base.

Built a lot of penis shaped buildings before the novelty wore off.

Basically just a minecraft parasite, never gathering materials of his own and just constantly going "is for me 👉🏻👈🏻🥺". Stan's not even sure he wants to play the game, just wants to hang out with them.

Really good at combat actually, especially when it comes to bows and arrows. She's had to go down and save Eddie and Richie from dying in the mines multiple times.

I’m well versed in redstone mechanics, but it all depends on what you’re looking for.

If you are looking for someone to make you something that breaks reality— eg. sending you to the farlands, generating spawners, bringing the dragon to the Overworld, or duplicating sand and string en masse, I’m your guy. That is my favorite thing to do, and I would love to help.

If you are looking for someone to help you optimize and automate your machines, I’m your guy. I have the knowledge of the Hivemind at my disposal, and I’m certain our efforts can assist you.

If you are looking for someone to cause chaos, I might be your guy. It all depends on how mighty the chaos you want to cause is. But there are other redstone engineers as well, if you’re looking for something else.

@cubs-mailbox is all round just a talented individual. He’s good at just about everything, if you want something that doesn’t really “fit” into anyone’s speciality, I bet Cub could figure it out.

@ethos-mailbox is a true innovator, he coined a lot of contraptions that we all use to this day. He also made Ravager Rush, which has become something of a craze on this server. Talented lad.

@impulses-mailbox makes great farms. You need a farm? Consider Impulse.

Everyone knows @mumbos-mailbox is a prodigy. He’s not just the doors guy, he’s made some stylish contraptions of big and small scale.

@tangos-mailbox is brilliant. He’s amazing at making minigames. Decked Out and its sequel were fantastic, and Hungry Hermits is just a work of technical genius. Did I mention he came up with all these by himself? I don’t know how he does it.

With all that considered, I hope you find someone who can do what you’re looking to do. I know this sort of turned into a rec letter, but believe me, if there’s automation to be done or if there’s world-bending activities taking place, you have got to count me in.

Built Asteroid spawner and Solar effects in Unreal Engine for my SCIFI MMORPG

Checking out asteroid spawner and added some new features like solar flares and built a small observation deck to test out the features.

Playing inscryption and I am having a delightful run, got ant spawner on my squirrels and 2 ants in my deck, I just keep fucking up leshy with an army of ants

first one is just some poses, second is an animation idea of how he actually spawns in, i feel like he hasnt really battled in a while, so the spawners you shoot out of in the splatlands are new to him.

im giving them the weapons they have in their tableturf decks btw! Spyke has a dynamo and murch has the goo tuber :D

i have some biology hcs for him and murch, the basics are that urchins and most other sea life are made from ink, and have no bones, like inklings and octolings, their hair/shells are basically their swim form (they can crawl up into it and roll around) but i think in some ways murch is an exception, since in splat 3 his hair lays down, unlike how in splat 2 it was styled as an imitation of spyke's hair, but when an urchin is splatted, the body dissolves and the shell rolls away, in game i think it would act similarly to the crab tank in its roll/swim form, climbing up walls and unable to submerge, also dealing damage to anything it rolls over.

More MH3 Cards! All the lil guy makers!

And by this I mean anything that'ss making me my fav lil colorless 0/1 & 1/1 eldrazi creature tokens with, "tap, sac this creature and add a colorless."

And remember, I'm not a professional in game design, so anything I say about game balance should be taken with a large hunk of salt. I'm not a playtester or designer, afterall.

The Token Art: We don't have any MH3 token art yet!

Cards: OMFG there's FIVE YUSS!

Writhing Chrysalis: LOVE this card. Gimme benefits to sac my lil guys! That and the card does not feel unfair. It's a four cost 2/3, but it's gonna be in a deck with decent potential to ramp early game, so that feels right. Add on top of it the "create tokens on ETB" effect combined with the "whenever you sac put a +1/+1 counter on it", this card has great value (in my opinion. Remember I'm an EDH player, not a modern player). Maybe it should've been uncommon, but I'm not gonna argue with its current rarity, it just means I get more of them! :)

Spawn-Gang Commander: Another great card! Would also combo super well with writhing chrysalis, bcus if you don't need to ramp, you can use the bottom ability to burn. Plus, this thing creates six potential burn on ETB? great card.

Kozilek's Unsealing: I have mixed feelings. I wish that the very bottom text wasn't on there, bcus in my opinion playing a seven cost creature doesn't need more benefits. Mf'er, look at most seven cost things, you don't need more tacked onto that. You don't need to draw three! And also, if the bottom text wasn't there, I think there's a stronger argument for it to be in green rather than blue (but even with the bottom abil there, I still think it should be simic. Its creature benefits). All that being said, I do kinda like the spawner effect. I think create two might be a bit too much, especially considering it triggers on a four cost, which a good deck can get out t2? But who am I to complain. I wanted a consistent generator of Eldrazi tokens, and here it is. I'm still gonna play it, even if I have to splash blue or even go full temur.

Basking Broodscale: Solid common card. I haven't seen too much +1/+1 focus in the set yet, so I don't think its mechanic is gonna be abused using MH3 cards. That being said, it will definitely be abused in EDH or other formats where you have access to more counters stuff. So maybe it should've been a 1/1?

Drowner of Hope: Another fair card! 6 mana 5/5 that makes me two scions, I'm not complaining! That and it's bottom ability only cares about Scions, not spawn or any other eldrazi. And it doesn't even put any stun counters on the creature it taps. So, maybe this shoulda been an uncommon? But who am I to say. Bulk rares do exist.

Overall: Good token cards! Again, I wish they woulda kept the effects in gruul rather than temur, but im still fine with it. If they wanna go for card draw benefits for your spawn, blue makes sense.

I'm much more excited for this set than I thought I would be (although the amount of alt arts and full arts and serialized cards is still ridiculous)!

Dream:

Only remember two. The last was a bit long, though not really a lot happened.

In the first dream, I was dumpster diving! There was a ton of stuff outside the dumpster. There was a thing with some bottles of Gatorade and a lot of other drinks. I grabbed some cans to put in the Gatorade box, but then noticed they were empty. I threw them out and put some different drinks in there. After grabbing the box and another box, I went back to my apartment.

In the second dream, I was with some other people. We were exploring some old Victorian mansion. This was actually a bit of a long dream, but not a lot happened. We were decked out in Dark Souls armor and weapons. Each room had a sort of blue spawner in the center that spawned a boss. I attacked a few with a thin blade, but I also just fled from a few of them. One of the rooms was a bit decrepit. After running into a creature that scared me, I ran to the entrance area. It was massive with several staircases. Eventually, I went outside of the building, and it kind of looked like our old house.

Analysis:

Graduation was yesterday, and people are throwing out a lot of stuff. Found a little storage thing and half a bottle of fabric softener.

I think the second is just due to Shadow Hearts. That game seems to be affecting a lot of my dreams.

Clash of Justice Arc: Inkopolis Forever! (Conclusion)

While Bigfin Splatoon, The Holy Quintet, and Inkopolis allies are securing Port Mackerel and the cargo ship, Agent 7 is entering the ship’s interior to go after Abigail and the remaining Bettas of the Inkopolis Family.

It took a while to fight his way to the lower decks of the interior and into the storage area.

Here, there is a number of Inkopolis assets stored, ranging from investments made during the mayoral campaign to massive stacks of voting ballots (likely rigged or forged to be in favor of Abigail). 

Oddly enough, there was too few Bettas present as he only encountered 12 in the hallways and corridors and only four in the storage area.

Something is not right. Was there not that many who remained loyal to Abigail?

He proceeds further, passing by stacks of crates and barrels. His N-zap ‘89 is in hand as he moves along. He stops to checks for any map layout and finds on a board that he is in the middle of the ship’s storage deck.

He can see the railings above and one opposite sides of the ship interior. There are no chargers. 

Someone is watching him. It’s silent.

“Abigial!” Agent 7 calls out. “Come out now! You’re under arrest! It’s over!”

He quickly aimed at an area as something turns on. It appears to be an open computer laptop, playing a video recording. 

In the video, there appeared to be a female inkling taunting her interrogators, joking about how they should treat the youth if they love their innocence so much. The joke was too far that Abigial’s voice can be heard, ordering a Betta to shot her with the charger at the convict’s head.

Agent 7 takes the time to close that laptop before continuing the search. He can’t stay here for too long. 

Then he is stopped by another laptop with a video of another inkling. Then another laptop with a video of an octoling. So on and so on. They all showed them trying to defy Abigail before being splatted. They all ended with the citizen’s name and their status as executed for crimes against inkopolis, except it labelled at Inkopolis being safe from them.

This leave Agent 7 unsettled until he stops at the middle of the ship where there is a clearing. A light is hanging over someone tied up in a chair and with a bag over their hair. He recognizes the jacket and jeans.

Robin!

Agent 7 quickly approaches her, but then notices something off. He grabs the bag over her head and pulls it off, revealing nothing. He kicked the fake body over and exposes the false body. 

More lights come on and Agent 7 looks at the balconies in the area; underneath him a spawner activates for him. He then spots Abigail applauding. Two bettas are present with her and they have their splattershot pros aimed at Robin herself. She looks almost upset yet afraid; when she saw Agent 7, she feels guilty.

Robin appears in denim jack and jeans, a white shirt, and sneakers. Her star hair clip is still there. Nothing else has changed. 

“You made it, Agent 7... alone,” Abigail congratulates, “That is good. Just need to filter the factor that is the thorn on my side. Your meddling. All of the agency’s meddling and cost me my mayor position.”

Agent 7 aims his N-zap ‘89 at her, but knows he can shoot her with this splattershot. He needs a charger class ink weapon.

“What are you doing with Robin?” He questions.

“She is the last of my allies.” Abigail puts her hands down, glaring at Agent 7. “The rest were splatted, arrested, or they abandoned me. My own Inkopolis Family.”

Agent 7 kept his ink-weapon on her as she started walking down the balcony.

“You see Agent 7... Life isn’t fair. We all know that as a fact. I guess it’s a principle that I forgot as I progressed.” Abigail paces from one part of the balcony to another. “But I am still fighting on. I may have lost my support, my mayoral seat, and the campaign, but I will be back for the next elections. Even if it means pressuring them to put me back on the ballots. Just another few speeches and promises and a revision of my agenda and the public will rally behind me again. The Inkopolis Family will beg me to lead them again!”

“You’re a monster, Abigial!” Agent 7 points his N-zap ‘89 at her. “You’re also a murder, a traitor, and a coward!”

This makes Abigial laugh. “Is that all? What next, will you just splat me in the name of justice! Such hypocrisy coming from the Agent that fell in love with a Squid Sister!”

This throws Agent 7 off. His relationship with the Squid Sister, Marie, is private and harmless. On top of that, they’ve kept it professional as Agents since Marie is also Agent 2. How Abigial obtained this information not surprising yet it’s low.

“Leave her out of this,” Agent 7 responds, “This is between you and me!”

“Not this it between you and the Inkopolis Family!” Abigail has a Beta hand her a charge and she aims. 

“This justice of your stemmed from more than just the loss of a home, your ability to have children, and your family. What have any of your enemies here in Inkopolis have done to you!” Agent 7 lowers his N-zap ‘89.

Abigial’s smile become unhinged but then she gives a cold look. “You may think its all because of some dirty joke or people humiliating me.... but you want to know what they did wrong to me? Not... a... thing... It’s a matter of who is evil based on belief.”

A belief that is forced on those who don’t share them. Agent 7 is now understanding the truth about her reasoning. There is none. 

“I am Abigail Atled Calliostro! The Queen of Splat-Down! And Founder of the new Inkopolis Family! And I must thank you for helping me thin down the numbers and getting rid of the weaklings!” She aims her charger at him. “And now I must repay you.”

“You wouldn’t dare...” Agent 7 steps back. 

“I will not make a martyr out of you, Agent 7! I will bring justice and order to the city! I will become mayor next elections! I will put down all you agents, hybrids, and others!”

Before she can pull the trigger, Robin snaps out of her state and quickly rushes to Abigial to grab the charger. Abigail fires but misses Agent 7 by a hair and he would flinch a bit. 

“Robin!? You dare assault!” Abigail’s eye are wide and she bares her teeth in an unhinged fury.

“I am saving my friend!” Robin struggles to yanks the charge away from Abigail. “I shouldn’t be afraid of the threats your Inkopolis Family made towards me! I should’ve known this was wrong! It’s my fault for letting Inkopolis suffer while I stood back!”

“You are lost then, you puny Squid!” Abigail exclamation makes the Betas gasp, having hear their leader said Squid instead of something neutral.

In the struggle, Robin is able to take the charger away from Abigail, but Abigail herself ends up falling off the balcony and onto the lower levels where Agent 7 is.

Still, these Betas do not turn on Abigail and instead aim at Robin. They are too afraid of opposing Abigail. Robin steps away and sees the other Betas gather. She is surrounded.

Then, Officer Fulgur, the Magical Squids from Mitakihara, and Bigfin Splatoon come on time and take out the Betas. 

“Agent 7, the ship is ours!” Fulgur states before directing his attention to Abigail. “All that’s left it you now, miss. You should’ve turn yourself in while you still had the chance.” He then went over to Robin who is shiver in fear. He places a hand on her should and nods. “It’s over.”

This made Robin tear up, drop her charger, and cover her face.

Abigail recovers and she gets up. She kicks a crate and opens it to reveal a hero-model splatling.

“You want to arrest me, so be it...” Abigail grabs the splatling and aims at Agent 7. “But I wont go down without a fight.”

Agent 7 sigh and aim his N-zap ‘89. “I want all agents and allies present to not interfere! We’ll do this the hard way.”

“Typical.” Abigail wastes no time firing her shots from the splatling.

A strange metallic cube appears, floating over Abigail. It scans her before floating about the storage area. Whatever this device is, it seems new.

The weapons’ barrels spin about and shooting relentless drops of ink. She walks about in a steady yet sure pace, turning into a squid to close in on Agent 7 and toss a few curling bombs and fire again.

Agent 7 tries to widen the gap and find cover. He fires his ink sparingly and swim about the storage area. He tosses sprinklers to cover as much turf for the fight. Once covered, he swims through the new paths to fire at Abigail either on the flanks or from behind.

Abigail will get hit a few times, but switches sub-weapons and throws a splat bomb at his face. Agent 7 is able to avoid the blast, sustaining only a bit of damage. Abigail uses this advantage and fire her hero-splatling and slow him down before splatting him.

He would respawn and rush to make some distance between him and Abigail.

He tosses a sprinkler toward her and fire enough to make a trail. He turns into a squid and swims towards her, coming out and firing. He splats her.

The metallic cube floating into the air acts up and turns a nice magenta before aiming at a spot. It shoots out a squid and it reveals to be Abigail who changes back and lands with her hero splatling.

At this point, Agent 7 seems to see Abigail’s tactics as just simple, but it’s what made her known at the Squid of Splat-Down. She uses light tactics and builds up from there to deliver hard-hitting blow that win the game by demoralizing the team.

All he needs to do is outflank her and close in when unexpected. 

Bit by bit, his advances proceed to weaken Abigail more and more. All Agent 7 had to do is avoid the hard-hitting attacks.

Soon, Abigail gets splatted more frequently to the point where her unique spawner beaks after the 7th respawn. Her legs are shaking and she can barely carry her hero splatling.

Agent 7 walks up to her and aim his N-zap ‘89 at her. “It’s game.”

“Oh no... no no no..... I won’t go out like this... time to be a true hero.” She takes out a small remote. “Watch me save Inkopolis from the likes of you.

Everyone present wants to stop her. Who know what the remote would do. However, Agent 7 made it clear to not interfere, and he is quick to hit the deck and avoid whatever would come out of this.

With just one press of the button. The collar around her neck beeps repeatedly before splatting her. She will not respawn.

The blast is not large enough to take anyone with her. Agent 7 is able to avoid getting hit by the ink.

It may be anticlimactic... but it’s over...

Fulgur sighs and shakes his head. “Lets get you home, miss.” His priority is to escort Robin home.

As for the others, they make sure all the cargo is accounted for and that any Inkopolis Family assets are found and defused.

Abigial’s campaign is over.

I think the reason Tango's use of a localized mob switch for the nether hub and later docs localized mob switch for the tunnel bore, RIP tunnel bore, were accepted is because they weren't a full on mobswitch proper built on the edge of spawn with 500 shulkers in minecarts, but small local mobswitches designed to specifically address a single problem each: prevent ghasts from destroying the hub too often so tango could focus-up on decked out 2 and prevent creepers from destroying doc's tunnel bore so grian and scar could destroy it instead.

If Doc had built a full on 500 shulkers in minecarts mobswitch proper, it probably would been rejected outright (or by majority vote anyway: we've no idea what goes on in those meetings and I'm not one to speculate on who has which opinions because down that road lay madness), same as the sand dupinator 9000 is currently being.

I think offering to scale back the effiency of the machine so that its rates feel more similar to the effiency of a normal mob farm (not a bonkers stacking raid farm, but like, a quad cave spider spawner, or a decent gunpowder farm) than a 100% maximum no-chill 'why not play creative' duping machine, could potentially get more hermits on board with the idea of sand duping.

This is of just me parasocially speculating about shit cause I ain't know any of the hermits personally.

I think the most obvious compromise, re: sand duping, is to throttle the sand dupinator 9000's output to match, at most, half the expected per hour output of someone manually gathering sand by devastating a couple dozen desert biomes.

That way, you're still grinding, and the scale at which you can build restrained by the amount of grind you can do, and it'd be more efficient to actively go to a desert if you're able (meaning duping is just like standing at a mob farm), as to not allow scope of project scale to explode beyond meaningfully finite resources. All you're doing under this by duping throttled paradima is shifting the sand gathering grind from an active ruination of a biome to a passive, but less item effiecent, AFKing around the sand duper.

And wanting to be around the throttled sand duper more often (because you need more hours to get to that promised scale of 100% maximum no-chill) makes decorating it more appealing, both because it makes afking at it more enjoyable and because it'd be more meaningful to get some hours running the dupper in while decorating the surrounding area.

We had gathered around a simulated fire in our holochamber. There were a number of us sharing traditional campfire songs from our various worlds, a trend so common among the galaxy you could almost compare it to eating. A lot of them were, upon reflection, the sort of things sung to children but we felt they were special to us. When it was the human's turn, a man named Sam, I was most curious what he would play. To my surprise it was a war song.

Bare in mind the forest around the nine of us shifted to a simulacrum of an earth forest for his song. We had a good sense of an Earth tree's size.

I don't recall all the rest of the song but I do recall Chikal asking where Sam had learned it and the resulting answer. His father. His own spawner taught him how to play and sing a song about maritime warfare. I now understand the ways humans frighten a number of other inductee species.

Notes from the Decked Out 2 stream just cause:

(Not the best recap ever partly cause I'm doing dishes for a bit while watching also I'm probably gonna break this up in reblogs lol)

-If the Wardens don't work well with the dungeon, Tango will do only Ravagers

-Decked Out 2 will be minimum 2 maximum 8 floors (sections) 16 blocks apart to make sure the Warden can't hit the Ravagers

-The floors might vary in size and they will be themed ("more vertical less horizontal")

-He expects it to take 2-3 months to make/finish

-Tango also liked the dungeon design but didn't like certain aspects (e.x. lacking verticality and feeling flat)

-There will still only be one entrance but there might be a different exit still close to the entrance

-There are some spider spawners and triple spawners in the area that'll be utilized

-He sort of liked the card system but he didn't like how limited the amount of cards was so the card system is changing entirely

-He also liked the black market and might have several for different kinds of benefits

-He liked the naming Ravagers thing but wants to change the reward from a free key to something else

-He wants to do a lot to try and minimize the amount of maintenance required though part of him did enjoy the maintenance

-He thinks co-op would be fun but not used as much as some might think

-He's completely changing the artifact system because he didn't like much about it and thought it had a lot of social problems and dependency on other players, there's a totally different scoring system though artifacts will still exist

-He didn't like the implementation of the shop because it was always bought out and the first there always got everything good, the shop will exist still but it'll be more accessible and fair

-He thought the AFK throne was fun or silly but was poorly designed

-He thought the auction was garbage because nobody used it so it won't be coming back

-He wants to have the clank system still and there will be more than one type but he wants to change the effects because he thought they were poorly designed, he wants a range of effects instead

-Ravagers, Wardens, Vindicators maybe, and natural spawners are what he plans to have in Decked Out 2

-He didn't like key distribution overall and won't do the daily key hunt again but doesn't have a solution just yet. He doesn't want an entry barrier of sorts and wants people to be able to basically always have a key or get to play just not too often or too much (like Etho lol)

-He didn't think the soul flames worked though he liked them, it was too time consuming due to redstone and it was too intangible because of RNG (as in it didn't always provide a benefit)

- Architect meetings in season 6 where Mumbo just exploded the ceiling and noped out mid meeting

- Team Star infiltration of Team G’s headquarters and the ambush (in season 6)

- False and Grian go visit the Catacombs during the game of demise (season 6)

- Grian pranks Scar with the zombie spawner at start of season 7

- Hermit challenges! All of it (season 7)

- Doc chasing Bdubs down during their neighbor wars

-Stress Swedish themed episode (courtesy of hermit challenges)

- Cub having a mild breakdown because he has grinded too much and wondering what would happen if the pyramids of Giza were opened just to reveal it had a mini gold course inside (season 7)

- All of the boomers works from Tango’s perspective to see Bdubs explode everytime (season 7)
