First chapter brought chills and I was conscious of what I was reading. . . #Trivia - In 2012, Jerry Pinto published his debut novel, #EmandtheBigHoom. The book draws his experience of living with a mother who was #bipolar. The #narrative touched thousands of #readers, among them many who had similar experiences—of living with someone with a #mentalillness. But her #secrets and this man are absurdly or inextricably linked… what could it possibly be hmm?!?!?! 🧐 . . . This #book blew me off. I guess this is the right way to put it across like that. When I grabbed this book, #TheGirlWhoCouldntLove, last year at #BangaloreLiteratureFestival, little did I know that it would stay with me in my head for a very long time. The powerful #storytelling, great #narratives coupled with strong #characters are the take away for every #reader who lays hands on this book.
