GEUFBIEHWJ—YOUR ART IS JUST,
*CHEF’S KISS
ITS SO AMAZING AHHH! (The way Spider Donna just wraps all of her legs around her gf…..that has my heart). What other spider facts do you know? :0
Thank you for the ask!
Overall, spiders are very chill (even the venomous ones) they rarely bite unless disturbed, and a lot of species prefer to run or hide. Funnily enough, a lot of spiders don't have enough of a bite force or strength in their venom to kill humans (it doesn't mean you should bother them though, observe from a far). Also, jumping spiders are intelligent enough to understand that biting humans is useless as they won't be able to eat anyway, even though they can eat things twice their size!
Now, if we look at driders or spider-people, it might be quite different. I imagine Donna to be either orb weaver spider type or wolf spider. Wolf spiders are known to hunt down prey instead of waiting for them to approach them, they're really fast, too. So a drider would probably be chill, and I don't see Donna as venomous type at all. (Her teeth are for eating only)

CAN YOU DO ONE ABOUT TARANTULAS PLEASE
I LOVE THOSE FLUFFY SPIDERS
YESYSYEYYEYEYYSYEYSG
Now let’s start off, tarantulas are not monsters and rarely bite humans. They also around as venomous as most people think. Most people just think that because off, you guessed it, tv.
Fun fact: tarantulas get hunt by wasps. Those special wasps are called tarantula hawks and look so unbelievable cool.
So, there are a lot of species of tarantulas, around 900. They also really range in size and colour.
(Warning, pictures of spiders)

Cool right?
Like you can see, most tarantulas are quite hairy. But a fun fact is, those hairs actually do something. When a tarantula feels threatened it will rub itself to make some hairs get lose. If these hairs hit you you will feel an incredible itch. Which sucks. Don’t try to do that
Tarantulas are also edible. Do what you need to do with that information
Female tarantulas also live longer than the males. While make tarantulas only get around 7 to 8 years old, the females will get around 20 to 25 years old.
The name tarantula has a funny source. People used to call the wolf spider tarantula, referring to a city in Italy, Taronto. They thought that a bite of the wolf spider would cause the disease tarantism. This is a disease where you’ll start swinging around and then dancing uncontrollably. I’m serious. This is an actual disease
And that was all! Have a great day! :D

Here's my Sketch of a Velvet Spider! Also known as a Ladybird Spider. They are as soft as velvet and super cute! They come in many bright colors.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Velvet spiders look like lady bugs with little spots. They are native to Ancient Greece and many parts of Europe. Many people actually keep them as pets, as they are a social species.

I hope you enjoy these little guys as much as I do! 🕷💕

The spider of today is; The black widow!!
Contrary to popular belief, these little guys are not the deadliest spider nor are they the deadliest in the USA. Their bites are capable of causing severe symptoms but are seldom fatal, but they are usually only fatal for young children and older adults. Their venom is considered to be about 15 times stronger than the venom of a rattlesnake.
These spiders are known for cannibalism, but sexual cannibalism is actually rare. The name “Black Widow” had been earned from the term of someone (most commonly a woman) who had lost their spouse, after scientists observed females consume their mates after intercourse. But it’s estimated that only roughly 2% of female black widows eat their partners after mating. But, male black widows have their own defense mechanisms in place to avoid the slim amount of females with a taste for male widows. For one instance, they can actually tell when a female spider is hungry by the scent of her pheromones, so they will actively avoid mates who seem hungry.
Cannibalism is most common in newly-hatched spiders. When black widow spiderlings hatch at varying sizes, the largest of the spiders will choose to consume the smallest of the bunch.

Peter Sleeping
Siders can’t sleep. Physically they can not sleep, they just sort of slow down… doing less but still conscious.
I would like to put forward an idea; peter parker doesn’t need to sleep, he can get the amount of rest he needs from a movie marathon. People don’t know this though, because he just doesn’t think to bring it up. May found out because she specifically asked him. No one else knows
This brings about certain… misunderstandings i suppose. Ways that everyone finds out.

The Importance Of Spider Molting
-
I found out why Nissy is so damn small
If a spider did not molt, it could not grow and mature. The exoskeleton is inflexible. Therefore, if a spider does not or cannot molt, it cannot grow.

Cool Spider Facts!
1: Spiders are arthropods! 2: Spiders provide a very vital role in pest management and can often be more efficient in the long-run than pesticides and exterminators while leaving minimal hazardous waste/straight-up poison in their wake! 3: The smartest spider is the Jumping Spider (Salticidae) and they’re capable of complex problem-solving and recognizing faces! 4: If you live in the US, you should probably stop killing every single spider in your house on sight because there are literally just three (Widows, Recluses, and Hobos) major groups that are actually dangerous out of the over 3,500 we have and the odds of the small, funky, little dude skittering across your floor at 2 am being lethally poisonous and hell-bent on killing you at the earliest opportunity are so incredibly low, they actively avoid people please stop ple- 5: Not all spiders spin webs!

SPIDER FACT #3:
Spiders spend a lot of time cleaning their legs to keep them sanitary and functional. To get clear of any dirt, dust, or other particles, they run their legs through their mouth regions.

Most web weaving spiders are of the highest intelligence, truly beyond the majority of Earth's creatures. Unfortunately their thoughts are stored in their but string nets, so when detached, they more imbicilic than a pile of bricks.

She was awoken in the middle of the night. Her violin was being strung. She lived alone though. Who could be playing her violin at 2:39 am on a Tuesday. She grabbed the book off her bedside table because that was all she had and walked to her living room. Her violin was on the table but she could see the strings moving. As she snuck up to it she could see movement in the moonlight. It was so small and subtle she didn't think it was real. When she got to the bridge of her violin she saw a small spider. Male spiders alert females of courting by sending songs of vibrations down their webs. this tiny spider was trying to court her. She picked him up and laughed.
" yes I'll marry you little guy" she placed him in a match box on her book shelf and found a moth for him to eat.
She went back to bed, giggling as she fell asleep. The next morning she went to check on the spider and he was gone. She hoped he was safe and found someone to love. She made herself coffee and practiced her violin until the doorbell rung. It was only 6:30. She had no idea who it could be. She set her violin down and opened the door. There stood a man in a tuxedo holding an emerald ring. His hair was curly and black, somehow seemed like spikes at the ends. His shoulders were broad and he was oddly tall. His arms and legs were not proportional to his body. His eyes were a light, golden brown. Gorgeous but unsettling.
" hi can I help you" she asked while very embarrassed of her sleep shorts and shirt with a smiling cactus that said don't be a prick on it.
" well I figured we should get engaged by your customs as well as mine, my love"
