So I've read that spider noir has a organic web, which means there is a hole on their wrist that shoots webs.(wristussy)

So please, if you could.

I want reader (male/gn) to find out about the organic web

Maybe they were in the couch, holding hands, and reader rubs the lil hole,teasing it while noir is just squirming and saying to reader to stop (but they didn't, infact they did it harder) and then the web shoots out (i like to think its pretty sensitive), and noir is just being a flustered mess while reader is AMAZED lol.

Artfight is pretty much over, so now I actually have time to write lmao

You and Noir had been dating for a while before you learned about the spinnerettes, especially if you don’t know that Noir was spiderman in the first place, then you’d have to figure that out first.

Because it’s the 30s you two aren’t able to be as open and affectionate as you may want, which most likely spills into your home life as well.

Most people just believe you are two poor guys who share an apartment, which wasn’t too unusual. Mix that with Peter being Jewish and antisemitism always being a thing, Peter needing a roommate would be even more plausible.

But because of the world you two live in, it’s difficult even being affectionate to one another when you are alone, because there’s always the fear of being caught and hurt because of it.

Maybe at some point in your relationship you two are able to move into an apartment building owned by another member of the lgbt community, where others like yourself and Peter live, allowing some of the paranoia and anxiety to leave you two.

It just means Peter has to be extra careful as spiderman, so that he wont lead the authorities to the building or somehow have the image of your community worsened by being associated with spiderman.

But living somewhere safe means you two dare being closer than before, especially if you live in an apartment where no one can see through your windows, except for maybe Peter who can climb up there.

It would lead to you two being able to be more affectionate, kissing more, holding each other, and cuddling on the couch as you watch your clunky tv play whatever was on back then, or listen to your radio playing music.

It might even cause you two to get a little bold, holding hands inside Peters pocket in public, or hooking your pinkies when no one is looking. It wouldn’t surprise me if Peter pulled you into dark alleyways or around corners to steal some kisses either.

Because you two can easier share affections now, it isn’t unusual for you two to just cuddle up on the couch holding hands, your thumb rubbing the back of his hand, or running your fingers over his knuckles.

Its when you are messing with his hands one day that you discover it, a small barely noticeable slit on his wrist. You learn later it was only visible because peters web pouches were full, as he hadn’t been out as spiderman in about a week because of injury.

You, of course, are curious. So, you immediately touch it, rubbing your thumb across it and pulling at the edges of it a bit in interest. To your surprise Peter jolts and makes a noise you rarely hear from him.

He would be extremely flustered as he covers his face with his other hand, quietly asking you to quit doing that, but he doesn’t pull his hand back to himself or anything, so of course you keep it up.

As you rub at the spinnerettes Peter would grow louder in his noises, his entire spine straightening as a whimper leaves him. Under his hand he’s biting his lip hard enough to break skin, his face completely dark from the flush that’s spreading all the way down his neck.

At some point you press hard enough on the slit that suddenly Peter seems to have had enough, lunging at you, and pinning your hands above your head as he pins you down. His hair is ruffled, and his glasses are askew, and his still chewing his lip as he looks at you with a flustered face.

You learn that night that his spinnerettes are quite sensitive, but might be just what you need to get him worked up if you need it.

joined the spider society because he thought he maybe could do some good by helping others, only to regret it later. genuinely thinks Miguel is kinda a facist.

he also doesn’t regret joining the society because he got to spend time with Ham, Gwen, Peni, Hobie etc.

he and hobie bonded over similar views, became best friends for the last four ish months before Noir quit.

taught hobie how to pickpocket/steal things in different places/shops before he quit. especially shops in Noirs dimension where it was easier to put something in your pocket and leave without anybody noticing.

Miguel hates him, probably because Noir rivals him in size and also questions the way Miguel runs things around the spider society.

(Miguel is canonically 6’9 and i hc Noir as around 6’5)

Miguel once asked (very rudely) in front of hobie, if Noir only dated Hobie because he was similar to Robbie. You can only IMAGINE what Noir almost did (aka assassinate Miguel) before he was stopped by most spider people who are loyal to Miguel. Basically, Noir went even more crazy because of that since Miguel uses Robbie as a way to get to him.

Noir in fact didn’t want to date anyone because of some stuff that happened, but when he met Hobie and got to know him, he instantly fell in love.

Miguel simply hates Noir, but can’t fire him or kick him out for no reason so Miguel picks on him until he snaps.

he acts like Peni’s older brother, being protective of her. she became depressed after he quit the spider society because she really cared about him.

most likely smokes, Peni hates it and always takes his cigarette from him to put it out. has dumped water on him multiple times. Hobie also puts out Noirs cigarette when he sees him smoking.

humor is his coping mechanism, example (my interpretation of the scenes):

when miles said his uncle was the prowler, Noir responded with “this is a pretty hardcore origin story” which sounds like he’s trying to make the situation a bit lighter by joking a bit.

as well as when aunt may asked if they could fight doc ock outside, he replied with “We don’t pick the ballroom, we just dance”

another one: when he, peni and ham met gwen, miles and peter for the first time, peter asked noir how they got there and he answered with “it’s a long story” only to say right after “maybe not that long”

Hobie paints Noirs nails from time to time because it seems to relax him.

used to wear glasses because he had such bad eyes but now that he sees better because of the whole spider thing, he wears them cuz they’re cool.

Noir probably has like the most crazy sensory overload anyone can experience coming to other dimensions. Like in movie canon his world is entirely black and white, so having a whole new of the new spectrum of light to adapt to is kinda crazy but then this motherfucker is also a Spider-Man so his senses are drastically heightened too.

First the ones I agree with that I've seen a shit ton of people mention >:33

- He is a fatherly figure to Peni. I can imagine when they see each other again, she'd run to him and give him the biggest fucking hug ever. She experienced her Canon Event between ITSV and ATSV too, right? So I can see her needing comfort so badly, and the only ones she ever truly grew close to were Noir and Ham.

- He'd 10000/10 get along so well with Hobie. Along with Hobie legit mentioning his hatred for the AM, PM and fuckin NAZIS IN THE COMIC ,

he'd be rambling so much with Noir about common interests and get along so well with him. Imagine he badazzles him in punk attire and based on this image:

(I'll link where I found the image tomorrow when I'm on my laptop lol if I remember) but based on this image, he teaches Noir how to play the guitar and shit and OUYGG I WANNA SEE THEM INTERACT (they're my fave Spiderverse characters so 👉👈)

- OHOHOHO He loves the colour purple. So much. He can't see it, ofc but he has such a love for the colour that he sees any beautiful colour- or well, of what he can see of colours, and thinks every pretty colour is Purple.

- MJ see's Noir/Peter as a brother and he see's MJ as a sister in turn. There is no romantic attraction at all. Yeah, this means MJ see's Aunt May as a nice Aunt Figure she can go to and talk to about things.

Now onto some of my own headcanons- or some that I don't see mentioned a ton. These have probably been said before but oh well, these are just what I like and my brain go BRRR

- Felicia is taller then Noir. (For those unfamiliar, Felicia is a character from the comic.) Yes that'd probably make her freakishly tall based on how tall Noir is in the movie, but that comic panel of when he first meets her rots in my brain.

- Felicia still has her mask from her ordeals. However, unlike how she pushes away Peter, they actually become friends again. Comfort each other. They swore they'd never be in a relationship again.

- Noir is a combo of both his OG comics personality and 2020's comics personality. I see movie noir as anywhere between 19 - 21. He's learning and developing as a human still. He's calmer and kinder and resembles how his personality is in the newer comics, however, based on this deleted scene LOL, makes me think he looses his shit easily and goes actually feral.

- Oh yeah, Noir most definitely adopted Ding Ding btw. He probably is nearly at the newer comics stage of his life, being a private eye and such, drinking his fucking egg creams like newer comics noir SBSBBS So he found and adopted Ding Ding.

- Despite being young (19 - 21) he has serious eyebags man, dudes sleep deprived 😔 I'm also heavy on the Spiderverse portrait of him unmasked that I don't really draw/see him with facial scars but he could totally have them after the shit he went through 💀

- Noir is a part-time singer. I will not elaborate.

There's so many other things I wrote down that I want to share, but they're on my computer 😭 so you get these for now hhhh

A LONG-ASS LIST OF FLUFFY-ASS PUNKNOIR HEADCANONS

Peter is actually REALLY good at rubix cubes now, especially after Gwen introduced him to speed-solving. He does it as a (slightly-nervous) habit now

Since the rubix cube was invented in 1974 - and Hobie is from 1978 canonically - he is ALWAYS picking up new ones and new designs from his universe to give to Peter

Peter loves them a lot and always keeps one on him, just for boredoms sake

Hobie always chuckles when he hears the sound of Peter clicking away on his rubix cube in the next room

They're both HARDCORE night owls

It's never really 'sunny' in either of their universes, because - one is noir and the other is London

But even then, they like to stay sleep in when they can, and Hobie will keep Peter in bed as long as possible, panda-hugging him like a sloth in the mornings

Their love language is sharing things - it's like words of encouragement, acts of service, and receiving gifts all in one

Hobie and Noir aren't the type to buy many things, or need anything to be brand-new, so books become their way of being with each other always

Noir likes to scribble neat notes in the margin in grey pencil, while Hobie covers his in bright post-its covered in sharpie and hi-lighter.

They've read each of each other's favorites, and always treat each other's books with care. Hobie introduces Peter to so many newer publications his world doesn't have yet, meanwhile Peter finds Hobie the best out-of-print or even non-destroyed books, copies that were destroyed in facist book-burnings in Hobie's world.

They kinda have an anarchist collection and archive at Peter's place

Being with Noir is one of the only times Hobie is super quiet

Hobie loves to listen to the rain at Peter's place, or listening to the scratchy 30's radio playing in the next room. He loves closing his eyes to the crackle of Noir's vinyls, or the sound of Peter typing away on his typewriter as Hobie lays on the couch

Even when Noir is at his place, it's a peaceful kinda quiet

Hobie lives on a canal-boat, so no rent, and no landlord, which Peter loves. And on foggier London nights, he and Peter can float the boat out on the river, sitting in the fog together

Hobie introduces Peter to a lot of new music

His favorite in Hobie's collection is Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, and any other operatic, classical style rock.

They're pretty low-key about their relationship. They're not hiding it, they're just not that big on PDA outside of hand-holding and cheek kisses

But they're still very intimate in public in a different way. Hobie and Peter always asks each other for their opinion in front of others. Peter is always acting chivalrous towards Hobie, and Hobie always speaks highly of Peter.

They may not be making out in public, but their own version of PDA could be just as subtle and sweet, even down to Peter adjusting Hobie's pins, making sure the words are facing up

Or Hobie flicking a piece of colored lint off of Noir, or leaving small bright, collage-style origami for him

It take's Gwen maybe a couple weeks to catch on

She can tell Peter and Hobie are like IN SYNC, like spot on with each other. And that they crash at each others places a lot, but she figures maybe they're just planning some anarchist stuff together

Besides, Noir isn't all that romantic - especially compared to other Peters. He and Felicia don't have that complicated history, and MJ is a friend (i think). So it doesn't really occur to her

Until one day her, Hobie, and Noir are hanging out at Hobie's place and she notices Noir already knows where everything is

Noir knows exactly how Hobie likes his records to be put back, or how much sugar Hobie likes in his coffee and tea

And she's like 'lol u guys are like soulmates'

and Hobie just goes 'glad u noticed.'

and Gwens like 'WAIT'

Peter unironically calls Hobie his 'lover'

Hobie ironically and teasingly calls Peter his 'lover' (he usually sticks with partner, but often goes with boyfriend if he knows it'll get a reaction *ahem* Miguel *ahem*)

They bond over the mutal feeling of 'what the fuck is this technology bullshit' A LOT

Neither one has a proper smartphone (ever since they learned about Siri they call phones wiretaps)

Noir only uses a typewriter and says screens hurt his eyes and the most technologically advanced thing Hobie with entertain is an arcade cabinet or MAYBE a Playstation 1.

But Peter also likes having Hobie explain things to him

Simple things even. SO many times people tell Peter what happens in WW2 in their worlds. It's..not fun to say the least

He likes sitting around, listening to Hobie explain things like the best movies from the 60's, or the best color TV shows

They have a date-night tradition where they try out something 'modern' (aka 1970-2023) and rate it, then write it down somewhere

So far, they both really like the Exorcist. Watching to together for the first time was one of the best dates they've had

(Imagine being from 1933 and watching the Exorcist with no prior context wouldn't that be wild)

Their apartments look SO COOL now that they're together!!

Noir's black and white apartment, covered in shadows and bright pop art posters. Hobie's bedroom half desaturated, half covered in zines and supplies for protests

You know how in old cartoons there's the trope of a dude in a trench-coat and when he opens it it's full of watches as stuff - Noir's coat is like that, but with patches

And Hobie will take newpaper clippings from Peter's Bugle and use them in art and collages because Peter's writing inspires him a lot

He'll use slogans from Peter's writings in his protest art, and use Peter's melodramatic sayings in his song lyrics

I dont know if I’ve ever discussed this particular head-canon so I’m gonna do it now. As always I love to hear thoughts on my theories so don’t be afraid of reblogging with tags and the comment section!

I don’t think spider noir goes by the name Peter Parker in his universe, I think he goes by Benjamin Urich.

NOW LET ME EXPLAIN

It’s not just convenient to have a different name than Peter Parker meta wise for distinguishing the different universe’s Parkers, I have actual reasoning. But first we have to talk about universe 90214 Ben Urich, the original. (This is going to b very generalized)

This version of Urich is an investigative reporter, who was really good at his job. So good in fact he’s associated with the likes of J Jonah Jameson(in this universe the bugle is a real newspaper who reports the facts despite criminal/political threats). There’s a lot implied that he used to work a lot more closely with Jonah and Felicia Hardy to run an information network, or web, to inform the public and keep organized crime in check. This is what earned him the name the ‘Spider’. To reiterate, the spider was an anonymous identity that few knew Urich was. However, over time he became addicted to drugs and began to take cuts from the organized crime he was supposedly working against. More specifically: the Goblin, who’s basically a mob boss in this universe. He had gone dirty, which is why I suspect his previous colleagues put some distance between them.

Fast forwards: Urich takes on Peter Parker as an apprentice after getting him out of a fight with some of Goblin’s goons outside of a protest. Peter becomes largely frustrated working for Urich due to just watching and reporting instead of doing something, this is evident during the apartment fire scene. Peter wants revenge on the Goblin for the death of Ben Parker and keeps pushing for Urich to go after him, but because of Urich’s deal with Goblin he essentially gives Peter busy work. This ultimately leads to Peter getting his powers. Later on Peter finds out that Urich has been hoarding information on the Goblin but is getting drugs from the Goblin so he’s not releasing it. He’s angry, there’s a shouting match. This ultimately inspires Urich to publish the Goblin’s information but also causing him to be killed by the chameleon in retaliation. While this was happening Peter swings in in his spider gear and mask to attack the goblin. They all assume this is Urich underneath the mask, and call him the spider. And later on people assume this masked spider is the same one who ran the information web.

Now as to the why I think Peter took the name Benjamin Urich: As seen above Peter is very much taking Urich’s place. He’s already taking the Spider’s name and it’s very convenient to have another alias to use with it. Especially one that people(from the underground at least) already associate the spider with. It’s quite literally perfect, too perfect, but that’s another post and has to do with the spider god. We already know he has a lot of heavy feelings with the name Benjamin for his uncle as well as his own middle name, which could be used against this theory. With that said I also think in this universe Peter doesn’t feel a whole lot like Peter after the spider bite. And maybe it’s gradual, but it most certainly starts with the spider bite/god. He is not the same person by the end of his run to say THE LEAST. Taking on a new identity, especially the one of Ben Urich, a man who wanted to do good, to be good but fell short, who wanted a second chance and didn’t really get it, would be a fantastic way narratively for Peter to express that.

And finally, because this Peter Parker is not the Peter Parker that May wanted him to be, but he is exactly who Benjamin Urich wanted him to be.

Interview with the Spider-Band + My OC!

Interviewer: So, what would you say is your favorite Earth besides your own?

Miles: I'd say my favorite's probably Earth-56, Gwen's universe, cuz the colors are really cool and I like how I can see Gwen's emotions so I always know when she's mad or sad or if somethings up with her. The random shapes are kinda distracting though

Gwen: My favorite's definitely Earth-1610, Miles' universe, because he's there I like how everything looks like a sketchbook and how lively everything is. It can be a little suffocating at times but its nice seeing him everyone being so loud and excited

Pavitr: I like everyone's Earths, they're all so cool! Noir's universe is very fun to be in though, because there're no colors and its a bit unsettling but also a fun new environment! I like mine the most though.

Hobie: Pav's universe for me cuz there's none of those pollution clouds and the sky's all clear. Don't have to worry about nun' when I'm on his Earth cuz everyone's all friendly and they like me. The colors are a plus too and the sunsets are beau'iful. I also like Miggy's universe cuz everything's clean and well-kept, but don't like being there when he's 'round.

Margo: I like Miguel's universe cuz its futuristic like mine but not to the point where everyone's virtual yet, which is kind of refreshing compared to mine.

Miles-42: My universe is the best. (He likes Pav's universe cuz everyone's friendly and nobody thinks he's a villain)

Peter B. Parker: Miguel's universe is the safest, so it's where I keep Mayday most of the time when she's bored of our house. There's no villains because of how many Spider-men are stationed there, and it's clean and futuristic.

Spider-Noir: Pavitr's universe is interesting. The vibrant colors make me feel like I'm approaching blindness but I still enjoy it very much. Gwendolyn's universe is also nice, but distracting. I can't keep up with it.

Peni Parker: Miguel's universe because its calming not having any responsibilities in the time you're there. No worries about being attacked.

Spider-ham: All the universes are weird. People instead of animals? Its creepy. But Miles' universe is okay because I've been in it before.

Peter is from the 1930s, so sadly there probably isn’t much medical treatment you can get done. That doesn’t mean you can’t wrap your chest, though you would have to do it in unhealthy ways. You would also wear men’s clothes and have your preferred hairstyle.

Peter would have no issue with you being trans, though he wouldn’t fully understand it in the beginning but would support you anyways.

Because it’s the 30s you two can’t be open about your relationship to the public out of the dangers it poses, but in your own home you are able to be yourselves and be together.

If you guys are together you are most likely his MJ because that’s something every spiderman has to some extent, at least all peters seem to have an MJ. MJ is a very gender neutral nickname too which would help with dysphoria or confusion.

Peter is smart, so he would find a way to help you bind your chest in more healthy ways, if you wanted to bind your chest. He wouldn’t be able to get you hormone treatment because I don’t think that was a thing at the time, but he will help you with voice training.

He could also help you in working out to build more muscle to be more masc presenting if that’s what you wanted. You guys just convince the outside world you’re just a guy with a smoother face, smaller hands, and a higher voice, no one really questions it.

When he joins the spider alliance he learns that being trans is actually a common thing, and it would lead him down a longer path to learn as much about it as possible.

He gets you a binder with the help of some of the other spider-people, and is able to get you both literature and books about it so you can both learn about it.

Up until then you most likely didn’t have a way to explain what you were, but knowing there were people out there like you helped you and peter a lot. It meant Peter had someone to ask questions, and you had someone to bond with.

Because Peter would most likely bring you with him to the headquarters because he knows how helpful it would be, and maybe to have you seen by some more futuristic doctors who could give you the treatment you want, in case you want it.

But no matter what, Peter would love you anyways. Whether you bind, or don’t. whether you want hormones or not. He would always respect you, your pronouns, and however you decide to present yourself.

He’s just smitten with you like any person of Peter is with their partner, this also makes him quite protective during your day to day, because the world is dangerous. Both because of his work as spiderman, but also because the world isn’t so accepting of people like you.

He isn’t overbearing though, and he tries not to be too much, since he knows you can protect yourself If you need too.

noir hcs part 2 (angst)

he’s an angry man in an angry era

snaps at people for small things, then cries alone in his room later that day because he regrets it

hurts people without realizing it before it’s too late and he again regrets it

reads books when he can’t sleep

when he was a young teenager, he would sit on the bathroom floor, drinking any kind of alcohol. whenever anyone asked why he was in there for so long, he just excused it by saying he had an upset stomach. basically became an alcoholic at 15 without anyone noticing.

when he told hobie about this for the first time, he said “it was either get drunk or snap and punch another hole in the wall, break a vase or two..” because he felt more relaxed when he was drinking (hardcore anger issues)

used to being picked on and insulted constantly. even by spider people, sometimes by those closest to him. it’s usually excused with “oh cmon it’s just a joke” so he just laughs along even when it hurts deep down

snapped at hobie a few times, ended in him sobbing in hobies arms, repeating “i’m sorry i didn’t mean to” because he really didn’t mean to (projecting)

he was really stressed one day, getting really angry when Hobie asked if he was okay or if he needed something. Noir ended up breaking some things, scaring Hobie slightly.

he plays along when people explain the simplest technology to him, even if he understands it since people don’t realize he’s fully aware of how certain technology works.

when he gets too stressed, he listens to music. he’ll listen to anything but for the most part, queen seems to be one of the bands that really help him calm down.

he talks to himself like he’s talking to either Robbie or Uncle Ben.

I don’t think Noir could originally wall crawl????

I read the cicada stone story for Spider-Man Noir cause I haven’t yet and it felt off for me (for several reasons but I’ll save those for another post). So I went back to the original Spider-Man Noir stories and noticed what it was. In the newer one, Peter is sticking to the side of a plane and walls, and hanging upside down by his webs. He didn’t do that in the original. I don’t think he even could? Literally the first thing he does with his powers is jump down from the rafters rather than climb.

Sure he probably didn’t know he could at first, but it seems he didn’t even hesitate to jump at least two stories down. Like his new spider-sense was telling him he could. Later it shows more sequence shots of him doing parkour and acrobatics to get to hard to reach spots.

And if he can’t use parkour to get to a spot he uses his webs to swing up high enough instead of climbing up the wall:

Any time it shows him high up it either has that sequence shot or it just skips to him already in place.

To get that far out of Aunt May and the others’ sight in just two panels I’d say it’s more likely he used his webs to sling himself up there instead of crawling. And my biggest reason for thinking this is that every time it does show him “clinging/wall crawling” he’s never on a smooth surface. Sure he’s in a sideways/high up/awkward to reach spot, but there’s always some sort of ledge or grip for him to hold onto instead just sticking.

I haven’t read the spider-verse stories in a long time, so I don’t remember if he wall-crawls in any of those thanks to creative liberties of writers. But it seems he couldn’t do it in his original run. It seems to me like the writers of the latest stories were pandering more towards the ITSV fans than those familiar with the original stuff, since he was all over the walls. But that’s another can of worms...

But for now to justify this particular change to his character I’m headcanoning his spider god gave him new powers (wall-crawling and more string-like webs for swinging) upon his resurrection.
