guys guys listen to me I think that if Morro stayed after like s5 or was brought back or WHATEVER IDC I I think that Cole COULD be the most sympathetic but also I feel like he’s the most distant from him because I think Cole is still struggling with what being a ghost means for him and his identity and seeing Morro lean into it so much and especially the more negative viewpoints people have of ghosts would make him feel like he has to prove he’s different to the other ninja and so I think he’d actually regularly avoid or even antagonize Morro because of that I don’t think he’d be buddies with him at first and like obviously part of it is. Everything Morro did but also deep down it’s his own insecurity that he’s taking out on Morro because Morro’s presence and gradual acceptance by Wu and the others is scary to him because he hasn’t been able to cope with or accept himself and he’d purposefully try to ignore the ways they’re similar because he feels like it’d be different if he got close to the other ghost on the ship as opposed to if jay or Nya or Kai or even Lloyd did so he’s just determined to show how he’s NOT like Morro or other ghosts bc being like the other ghosts or even just being clos to them means leaning into or ignoring the “ghosts are all evil” thought process so he wants to be different by trying to oppose Morro but i also think this would backfire on him because the other ninja know him and Cole is usually pretty open minded and sympathetic and they’d notice this and how he acts around Morro and they’d be concerned like they’re also angry at and don’t like Morro but Cole is going to an extreme just to keep away from or find some reason to be mad at him and it’s so jarring to them so they notice he’s acting weird and confront him and stuff but he can’t tell them so he brushes it off as just what Morro did because he IS angry about that because the alternative just sounds selfish and he needs to be there for the others but also over time the ninja are accepting Morro and Morro is making up for what he did and is sorry and like he can never truly atone for his crimes or the harm he caused but he’s trying the best he can and so all the other ninja are getting closer to Morro and letting him into the team slowly but surely like they’re still mad and a bit on edge but they’re willing to try and see how it works if only for Wu’s sake and so Cole’s distance and anger just becomes more jarring bc now the ninja aren’t sided with him and his excuse of being angry isn’t working as well because like they know he holds a grudge but like being someone who ran away from home and also got mad at his father figure and also is a ghost and all this he should have at least some sympathy and I think one of them would try to confront Cole but then Morro comes along and that just makes the issue worse and they have a big fight and Cole blows up at him and is like well YOURE A GHOST what would ppl say if I the other ghost hung out with THE evil ghost and the other ninja and Morro is like wait that’s what this is about and Morro kinda understands a bit but the other ninja is like dude none of us think that!!! And they talk it out and like a few days later Cole approaches Morro and they talk abt stuff and they get to know eachother and they comfort eachother and then they kiss and fall in love I think and now they’re a ghost couple living their best life and Cole never fades away alone bc Morro is there for him and can see him and he helps him out and gets him an anchor and stuff so now they’re the happy resident ghost couple teehee

TRICK OR TREAT TADDY!! :D
HAPPY HALLOWEEN, LEVI!! You've won: WIP of a "Jay & Kaida one shot" that doesn't have a name yet (this would be before Ligthning Pin but after "Everything I think it's just static on the radio")
"I don't think any advice will help, Jay." Kaida muttered with resignation. "Our powers are not same."
Jay tilted his head to the side as he crossed his arms thoughtfully.
"Maybe not, but you said your powers seem to have a will of their own from time to time, right?" She nodded in confusion as he waved his hand in the air. "Well, lightning is the same. Sometimes it's like it's alive. I've learned that you can't really control it, it's impossible. It won't obey you. But if you try to guide it, instead of subduing it, maybe it will listen to you."

There is au of ghost Morro helping and guiding a little young Lloyd, yes? Like I know this must exist.
I’m just thinking of a somehow not in the cursed realm Morro, finding s1 baby lloyd and protecting him along the journey.
Maybe Morro secretly helps or maybe lloyd is the only one who can see Morro. Maybe they have frisk-Chara undertale fanon relation ship.
Maybe Morro doesn’t even realise who lloyd is, and just sees a lonely child much like himself. Or maybe Morro learns overtime not to judge him for being Garmadon’s son or for being the green ninja.
And what if, s5 is still the same? Through some turn of events, Morro ends up working for the preeminent, but he remembers Lloyd. Maybe he never got over the green ninja thing after all, maybe he’s jealous that Lloyd got his happy end, and is trying to live that destiny vicariously through him. Or maybe that sense of protection, then manifested itself into, “Ill take over and you don’t have to deal with your green ninja responsibilities”

==✦CONTINUATION✦==
Part 1- (Lloyd, Kai, Nya, Jay, Cole, Zane)
This is the continuation for my spirit ninjago au (yeah the au doesn't have a proper name yet so I'm just sticking with that) there may be a third part Idk yet, I'm trying to expand a lot but keep my line of thought straight, expecially since I've been playing honkai star rail my imagination as been going on getting a lot of inspiration with that, mostly the paths system the thing is it may not make sence in a timeline because of dates, and honestly I do want to follow that since It makes some sense but I'll see.
==❤︎CHARACTER INFORMATION❤︎==
Skylor Chen Smith
Age- 1000+ (ghost) Died at 96 Height: 5'8½ (1,74m) Status: Kai's wife
A never ending hardworker, Skylor is a dedicated person, even with all that has happened in her life she moves on, "don't let the chains of the past hold you back" is her biggest quote. She still worked at Chen's Noodle House keeping the legacy even after everything, Kai helped even if not has much as she would have liked, but I guess thats a them problem. She is now residing in the cursed realm, the realm of the evil and dead, unfortunately for her the good deeds she practiced were in vain, and even worst for her, her father and clouse were also in the cursed realm, shall she have the pacience to deal with both of them, especially after it got to them that she married one of the ninja, Kai, the worst one in their eyes. Kai visits her in the cursed realm, mostly to hangout and sometimes is able to drag her out of that realm and spend sometimes in the living world.
==꒷꒦︶︶꒷︶︶꒦꒦︶︶꒷꒦==
Morro Wu
Age- 1000+ (ghost) Died in his 20's Height: 6'4 (1,93m)
The people call him "the ashamed" as all that proceeds him as been the shame in his previous actions, a anti-hero. He stills remembers the day he was given a third and/or even fourth chance at redemption, he was in the cursed realm, sulking and poving his power the both new and old ghosts, when Lloyd appered in front of him, he had his arm extanded to him waiting for Morro to take it, Morro was mad but he had to let go at some point, right? So he did, and after a danger in Ninjago that even the Ninja had been spread a little too tin to deal with, Morro joined the battle, but due to him being a little rusty Lloyd gave him a bit of his power, with that the battle was won; to Morro's suprise Lloyd never toke the power back and instead insisted that Morro joined the Ninja becoming the 7th ninja. The rest of the team wasn't too pleased with this, but even soo, who are they to question Lloyd's decision…
==꒷꒦︶︶꒷︶︶꒦꒦︶︶꒷꒦==
Garmadon
Age- 2000+ (ghost) Died in his 1000's Height (Before death) : 7'3 (2,21m) Height (After death) : 6'4 (1,93m) Status: Misako's husband and Lloyd's father
A tarnished name for sure, all that he has are distante memories of his horrible actions; being separated in two halfs after being revived is sure to bring conflict; one remained in the cursed realm, mostly wandering around, missing his family to no end, and the other was destroying anything that could be considered family. When the half in the living realm died, in came the extended influx of memories that didn't belong to him but at the same time did, he didn't know what to make of it the harm and despair he caused after long having accepted what he had done before- it was too much. But in the depths of that new memory… he could only smile; after everything died down and the living Garmadon stayed alongside Lloyd- the father and son moments he had only dreamed of ever being true had become reality, the laughter and genuine love he felt coming from and with his son, made him the happiest man in the cursed realm; after all he was givin a couple 100 years by his families side until he finally passed away, he made sure every moment counted. Even his marrige had healed to some degree. Now, in the present, Garmadon makes sure to have frequent visits to Lloyd, even if Morro is his only way there, the routine is quite fine for the both of them, Garmadon gets to visit his son and Morro always prefered the quiet atmosphere of the island, where the monestary is currently on. And truth be told, Garmadon, for sure, has given both Morro and Harumi a good death stare for the things they have done to his son, reasonably so.
==꒷꒦︶︶꒷︶︶꒦꒦︶︶꒷꒦==
Harumi
Age- 1000+ (ghost) Died in her 30's Height: 5'11 (1,80m)
Harumi, often refered as the "wicked princess", in the living she owns a place in the new and improved "hall of villains", while in the dead she continuasly has an aura around her, even if she emitted regret in her past life, now she was surrounded by people who only sang praises about what she accomplished; after all now the people around her were as morally deranged as she was, if not even more. Unfortunatly for her, or fortunatly for the speck of regret she still holds, Morro had long been made aware of what she has done and due to him having to show that he has some moral grounds to be able to continue have the amount of power he was given, he keeps tabs on her and reminds her that she is supposed to be upset at all the praise. And to the new Garmadon she encountered in the cursed realms? A lot of mixed feelings for sure, either way, Morro just makes sure Harumi doesn't get to close.
==✿ADDITIONAL INFORMATION✿==
Skylor and Kai often just walk around Ninjago and think about the past, very old people style; The others tend to comment on their behavior but their stupidity just gets ignored not a whole lot can bring this woman's confidence down.
Kai was very self-conscious about his old lookin' self, Skylor would just make this man's ego go through the roof at times.
Morro, Garmadon have been living in the same home for a while, Harumi just kinda made herself at home, already knowing Morro from a previous prison visit from Lloyd, and just didn't bother giving a reason to why she was there, and Morro just ended up so feed up with kicking her out everytime that he just gave up.
Lloyd has Garmadon's, Misako's and Wu's graves at the end of the backward, beautifully siting under a weeping, tree very well taken care of. Garmadon often wonders if his body is really there or if it's just a memorial (he doesn't really want to check or ask Lloyd about it).
Many attempts at Morro's life have been made, mostly coming from Nya and Kai (water doesn't kill him persay but it sure hurts a whole lot), Jay just annoys him at any moment given, Cole and Zane give him side glances and try not to be hostile, and Lloyd well, his relationship with him has for sure gotten better, time can often heal wounds left by past actions; they often help eachother without much complain, and if there is, it mostly comes from Morro pretending to be upset.
Morro often pretends to despise Lloyd but he does actually care for him; Lloyd is very aware of Morro's true feelings thanks to the power connecting them both, so he just disregards the behavior.
Morro uses Lloyd as a human shield /aff, most of the times he's just possession Lloyd and hanging around but not willing to interact.
Harumi had a redepction arc inside prison and Lloyd would visit occasionally, sometimes he would have Morro with him, that's how they knew eachother, first time they met tho, let's just say, they weren't all too friendly with eachother.
Yes, Harumi died inside the prison, how? Idk, someone didn't like her I guess.
I should mention that most of Ninjago citizens are completly aware of the Ninja's past, mostly due to Cloud Kingdom just releasing many books each with one of the ninja's story, and after years those books were re-written many times and it may have become a game of broken telephone.
That is also why, the people of Ninjago are to the full extent aware of the Harumi's actions, and let's just say Lloyd's die hard fans aren't too happy.

Okay, I now have another Ninjago AU.
Originally it was just going to be a headcanon, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized it would just ever so slightly change the story, so...
Lloyd, master of spirit.
In simple terms: Lloyd's element is spirit/soul. This gives him the abilities of Astral Projection, general ghost abilities when he astral projects, and Spirit Bending.
What this would explain (and why it was just going to be a HC):
How Lloyd cured his dad's curse (soul-magic problems require soul-magic solutions)
Why Lloyd's element didn't affect his environment much, and why people couldn't tell what it is.
Why he's a chosen one (along with other reasons)
What this would change:
Season 1-2
Lloyd could do Spinjitzu, but they could never figure out what his element was other than some vague concept of energy, until the season 2 finale, when he heals and saves his dad's soul by bending it back closer to its original shape and washing the Overlord off it.
Season 4
He learns how to briefly astral project other people (like the soul punch in Dr. Strange), but never has his mind clear enough to do it himself until...
Season 5!
After Morrow pilots Lloyd's body around for too long, Lloyd astral projects out of there as a defense mechanism. And with Lloyd being the master of spirit, and Morrow being a spirit... Lloyd can basically blood-bend Morrow in a fight. And when ghost-Cole starts fading, Lloyd's the only one who can still touch him, so he's really helpful at bringing Cole back from an episode.
Season 6?
Skybound never happened, and everything established in it was never expanded on, so this is an AU free-space. So this gets to be the therapy season where Cole gets to deal with being dead and Lloyd learns to stop involuntarily Astral Projecting, and eventually learning to do it deliberately as a result.
Season 8
Lloyd would be trying to heal his dad like last time, rather than just defeating him. But Garmadon only has half his soul and Lloyd can't add an extra soul back, so I don't think he'd be successful...
...aaaaaaaand, that's it!

My Nonexistent Friend, First Encounter
wc: 1698
Milo encounters the spirit that haunts the temple he now lives in, and they get to talking via ouija board
From the corner of his eye, Milo spotted something. He sharply turned his head towards the green light, but saw nothing. He wanted to think his mind was playing tricks on him, with it being the middle of the night and he's probably tired, but that feeling of something watching him was unmistakable. He had been trained to always be aware and vigilant of his surroundings, you can't be a decent ninja if you're caught off guard. And with the supposed rumors about this temple being haunted, Milo didn't want to think about if they were true. The team's been living in this temple for a week, if it was haunted, the spirit would've shown itself by now.
Finishing off his glass of water (and grabbing a chocolate biscuit to snack on), Milo made his way back to his room. But the uncomfortable feeling of eyes staring at him never left. The young ninja turned his head just to see the green light vanish. He rubbed his eyes before looking back at where the light once was. It looked a little…humanoid. Okay yeah now he was sure his eyes were playing tricks on him. It was best for him to go to bed and say this was just his tired mind messing with him. But a part of Milo was curious about the strange green light. He wanted to investigate it. Maybe the rumors about the temple being haunted were true! If they were, Milo hoped the spirit was friendly. If not, well, he could always get Taiyo to blast it with some water and send it to the Departed Realm where it belongs.
His curiosity overpowered his logic, so Milo went to search for the strange green light…by wandering around the halls hoping the light would show up. And speaking of the FSM, it was just around the corner. But just as he got close, it vanished, but reappeared a little further down the hall. As the pattern repeated itself, Milo began to wonder if the light was leading him somewhere, as it vanished into the attic. There wasn't a latch, just a worn down ladder leading up a neatly cut hole in the ceiling. A normal person wouldn't think twice about using such an unstable ladder, but Milo was a ninja, he's climbed up worse.
Using his ninja agility, Milo scaled his way up to the attic. It was dark and cramped with rotten old junk and filled the brim with dust and cobwebs. He sneezed as soon as he took a breath through his nose. But there was no sign of the strange green light. Pulling out his phone to turn on the torch, Milo scanned the attic, the bright light revealing the secrets buried in the shadows. Just as Milo was contemplating returning to his room to go to bed, he spotted a flicker of light in the dark. He shone his light towards the flicker but nothing was there. But there was no mistaking that something is here in this room, hiding away from the boy.
"I-It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you. You can show yourself." Milo called out to the being, but got no response. Thinking quickly, Milo left the attic, leaving his phone to shine some light in the abandoned room. He returned quickly with a box in his hand, a Ouija board. Taiyo has a friend who's into the occult, and she just so happened to gift the Water Master the spirit communication tool for his birthday. Milo thought that he could use the board to communicate with…whatever was here. Sure he was breaking the number one rule of using a Ouija board (never use it alone), but he couldn't just wake up his twin or anyone else in the temple just so he could try and talk to a spirit that probably wasn't real. And if he gets possessed that's what Taiyo's around for.
Taking a deep breath, Milo set up the board, and spoke. "H-Hello. My name is Milo. I am a friend, who just wants to say hello. Is anyone here?" It was dead silent for a moment. Milo held his breath, a little bit scared of what could be lurking with him. Suddenly, the wooden thing (he has no idea what it's called) began to move on it's own, sliding towards letters, spelling out a word
H-E-L-L-O
Milo was sure he had a mini heart attack seeing the scope move on its own (he knew for sure his hands didn't do that on his command), but it confirmed something was there with him. Milo continued to ask the spirit questions.
"Do you have a name?"
The scope began to move a bit, around random letters, before finally settling on the NO in the top right corner. Based on the way the scope moved, Milo was certain the spirit was going to spell out its name, but it couldn't find the letters for a reason. Maybe it has forgotten its name?
"Do you remember anything about yourself?"
The scope moved off the NO before moving back onto it. So it had no memories about itself. Milo felt a bit sympathetic towards his invisible conversation buddy. The next question Milo wanted to ask was something really risky, but he had to sate his curiosity.
"Can you show yourself to me?"
For a while the scope didn't move. Milo wondered if the question he asked was a bit insensitive, like asking a stranger to strip nude. But he was a patient boy, he'll wait a bit before asking his next question. Eventually, the attic was filled with a green light, and a figure appeared before the young ninja. They were hard to make out, barely being visible, but Milo was able to spot some stand out features. For one, they looked…young, around Meg's age. They were also wearing a black and gray ninja gi, similar to his own, but it was a bit ragged and some dead vines were wrapped around their torso and left leg. Milo couldn't see their face, obscured by the messy overgrown mop of black hair they had, but he could make out some black lines down their cheeks akin to dry tear tracks. They were floating slightly off the ground, curled up a bit in a withdrawn position, arms wrapped around themself like they were hugging themself protectively. They looked so scared and vulnerable. It wasn't long before the spirit faded away, and the scope began to move again, spelling out a sentence.
C-A-N-T K-E-E-P F-O-R-M L-O-N-G
So they struggled to show themself. At least Milo got a glimpse at their appearance. He makes a mental note to sketch them out in his journal. Milo wanted to ask the spirit more questions, but knew they probably wouldn't be able to answer most of the personal ones (if they couldn't remember their own name or anything about themself, what's the point in asking them their life story). He figured it's best to get some general info outta them.
"Do you know how long you've been haunting this temple?"
3-0-0
Around 300 years.
"Are you able to leave this place?"
NO
So they are bound to the temple?
"What happened?"
C-U-R-S-E-D
Cursed!? Being cursed means they were once alive, and probably still is in some way. There are only three ways to be cursed according to Morgana; dark magic spell gone wrong, cursed artifact, or cursed by someone proficient in the dark arts.
"Do you know how you were cursed? Was it a spell gone wrong? Did you touch a cursed artifact? Or did someone proficient in the dark arts curse you?"
At first Milo wondered if he was asking the spirit too many questions. So far they were answering as best they could.
C-U-R-S-E-D B-Y S-O-M-E-O-N-E
"Do you remember who?"
NO
Milo was silent for a moment, contemplating his next question. He was starting to piece together this puzzle, but there were still some big pieces missing. From what he gathered, this spirit, a young teenager who likely could be skilled in martial arts, was cursed 300 years ago by someone to haunt this temple and they couldn't leave because the curse had bound them to the temple. They also had zero memories of their life before they were cursed. Milo felt sympathetic towards the spirit, maybe that was just his high empathy towards anything living. He can't just continue to go about life now knowing his home is haunted by a teenager trapped in nonexistent purgatory for likely all of eternity (or at least until the sands of time wither away the temple). Taking a deep breath, Milo asked his final question.
"After hearing bits of your story, I've come to a conclusion. If it's alright with you, I want to help you break this curse. No one…deserves to live eternity in a nonexistent purgatory like you are. You deserve to live, or at least move on to the Departed Realm. It'll take some time, what with me having to balance general ninja work with researching the occult, but I swear to you, spirit of the temple, on the First Spinjitzu Master's tomb, I will find a way to set you free. It's a promise, if that's alright with you?"
The scope shakilly moved. The spirit was likely taken aback by Milo's proposal. Any normal person would ignore the spirit or try to exorcize it. But Milo wasn't any normal person. He was a ninja, an Elemental Master, a protector of all who live in Ninjago, alive or dead. He wasn't going to sit around and live idly in this temple knowing that a soul was forever cursed to haunt it. He was going to do whatever it took to help this soul out, ninja's oath.
T-H-A-N-K Y-O-U
Their reply seemed…positive. It was hard to tell, but Milo took it as a positive. He held out his pinky, and the spirit reappeared to wrap their ghostly pinky around Milo's, binding their little oath. Milo caught a glimpse at the spirits face, some hope shining in their empty soulless green eyes, a smile on their tired face, before they faded away once again.
