in hindsight 2021 spnblr drama is unbeatable. there was a full on war between sam girls and everyone else. people destroyed in the gay dean trenches just for being there. people cancelled over paying stupid amounts of money to go cons. people cancelled for being mean to congoers. baby jack is ableist. sam is a woman. actually dean is the woman because he's always in that kitchen. is cockles unethical even if misha collins endorses it. transmasc dean is setting a bad example to trans men because they'll think violence is the answer. destiel as jack's dads is heteronormative.

the thing about supernatural is that if it wasnt written the way that it was and sidelined every single character that wasnt sam or dean and actually fucking cared about the side characters with archs and real depth and didnt kill off every single character they redeemed was that it couldve been good. like the supernatural that exists in my head is a million times better than this hot garbage on a plate of a show

supernatural ending with each of the main characters' personal hell is so insane to me. cas is taken out of the story and forgotten. dean is stuck in a manufactured heaven with his dad. sam has to live a long normal life without any contact with people he loves. it started and ended a horror story.
