Fake dating: Catratrouble. It was just a ploy, really. Another way to get under Adora's skin. And Double Trouble, of course, was game for anything. And of course, in order to sell it they had to live it. Can't let your guard down. It´s called method acting, darling. But after anotehr successful mission (or "date" as DT called them), with the happy memory of Adora's fuming face, and when they laughed and talked on their way back to the camp, when Catra suddenly grabbed Double Trouble´s face and pulled them closer to a kiss neither of them were eager to finish.... when they finally separated and looked each other in the eyes, and Catra saw the normally so cocksure DT hesitate... she felt something she hadn´t felt since that disastrous time with Scorpia in the Crimson Waste. Catra was happy.

They were playing with the idea of Lonnie being with Scorpia but pairing her with Perfuma won out.

And that honestly makes me really sad because Sconnie has RIGHTS. Like no offense to people who like Scorfuma but ships with two overly positive people kind of bore me. I liked Lonnie’s snark, levelheadedness, and occasional pessimism playing off of Scorpia’s blithe optimism and enthusiam. The contrast was what made it interesting and I really wanted to see more of those opposites affecting each other once they were out of the Horde. Obviously I’m really glad my otp was canonized but I was disappointed they didn’t follow through with Sconnie, and in general that the squad only had a cameo in season 5.

I want a scene in spop eventually (like near the show’s end) where there’s like a victory party for beating the Horde or something (after Catra, Scorpia, and their squad joins the rebellion) and Catra and Adora are slow dancing all in love and stuff and Scorpia looks at them sadly, but still happy for them, and then Lonnie comes over and asks Scorpia to dance, and Scorpia realizes that while she was too busy obsessing over Catra, she didn’t notice Lonnie’s crush on her, and realizes that that’s how Catra must of felt this whole time and they dance together. PLEASE.

Oh wow, I’ve hit another milestone! Welcome to everyone new, please enjoy the shitshow. If you’re curious about what I do here, I recently updated my masterpost of She-Ra fics and vids, and you can find find a good chunk of my She-Ra meta (everything I remembered to tag properly) here.

This milestone came up on me quick (thanks @trickypinetree! <3) so I don’t have anything prepped as a giveaway/gift to the followers. But, I am planning to spend much of the day working on the football au, so I’ll try to post something from the first chapter once I’ve cleaned it up a little (or a lot lol). For now, I’ll simply gift you guys the title and some fun little trivia facts:

-The title is Hail Mary

-Adora is the quarterback (obviously) and Catra is a wide receiver (which, as anybody who knows me knows, is based on her athletic talents and is not a pitcher/catcher joke). Scorpia is a defensive lineman, Lonnie is a halfback, Rogelio is an offensive lineman, and Kyle is a kicker. Adora and Scorpia are the captains.

-Glimmer is a safety for the Bright Moon High Royals (The Horde’s crosstown rivals) and is therefore a massive pain in Adora and Catra’s asses. She has a tendency to appear out of nowhere to foil Adora’s plans, and just like in canon, Catra enjoys trasktalking her and throwing her off her game.

-Bow is the Bright Moon quarterback, known for his pinpoint accuracy and impressive range, and Cedric Hawk (C. Hawk on his jersey) is one of his favored receivers. They sing shanties whenever they connect for a touchdown.

-Catra’s number is 96 (because she can’t wear 66 or 69 as an eligible receiver once she goes to college, so sad)

-Sconnie is a thing because I say so

what if Lonnie did have a fat ol’crush on not Catra, but Adora of all people (perfect soldier, she’s like a goddess...do I have to continue...) and she just kinda got over it pretty quickly because c’mon Adora was swooning over Catra since day 1 and Lonnie is pretty chill (even if she still holds some kind of grudge against Catra, but you didn’t hear that from me) and she just wants to do her job and not DIE, an actual common sense gal, and when Adora defected she couldn’t believe it because “whattheactualheck  Adora you were supposed to be  l o y a l ™   wewereyourfamilyyoubitch“ but you know she didn’t go into full breakup song like Catra did... because, again, the only(1) brain cell...and then SCORPIA appeared and she was kind and loyal and big and muscular and actually thanked her once omg and poor poor sweet Lonnie fell in love... but newsflash Scorpia is into Catra and HOT DAMMIT NOT THIS AGAIN. YIKES. fuckingCatrawhatdoesshehavethatIdon’t and you know angst ensures...longing looks...awkward stares...light “accidental” touches...(I am soft omg)

but THEN Catradora ™ happens and Lonnie is like “well, we been knew, but OMGSCORPIA” and she goes to see her, thinking she would be heartbroken, but actual angel Scorpia is just happy that Catra and Adora are finally happy together and she will never get in between True Love ™ even if she feels only a tiny weeny upset but don’t worry about it Lonnie, I am fine I promise (a tear runs down her cheek) and Lonnie is like NOT IN MY WATCH, LET’S OPEN OUR HEARTS so they talk about feelings, rejection, and love and Scorpia then realizes she has been BLIND because Lonnie is a sweetheart that just wants to be appreciated for once in her life and they actually have so much in common so they keep talking until... oh yes you guessed it! and they get married and Lonnie gets a KINGDOM which is what she deserves (she basically runs the Horde) and everybody is invited to the wedding, especially Rogelio and Kyle because HordeFamilySquad and idk alright I’m s o f t...
