FAQ

Will this affect those who have acquired unreleased items, pets, and/or horses?

Yes, using third-party cheat engines to modify our files in any shape or form is against our terms and conditions and can potentially put your device and personal information at risk. Therefore, proof that an account has used unauthorized third-party tools to obtain unreleased items will result in a ban. This also applies to horses acquired after their retirement.

There is a big community of people who offer services to give you unreleased items, horses, and pets. How will this affect those people who purchase it or are selling it?

Yes, this applies to accounts that use these services, as they use unauthorized external tools to do so. 

What if you used cheats prior to the zero tolerance, will your account be banned? 

Yes, if there is evidence of doing so, the account will be banned. 

Are you IP banning affected accounts?

We realize that players are able to make new accounts and new IP’s. Rather than IP ban, we will continue to ban offending accounts.

Why are these tools harmful?

Account Security: Some tools require sharing sensitive account information, putting players at risk of account theft or loss.

Safety Concerns: Downloading unauthorized programs can lead to unsafe software that compromises your security.

Game Stability: These modifications can break the game—not just for the cheater but for everyone they interact with—ruining the experience for all players.

UPDATE! Previously, my shaders were mainly based around the shader affect IMMERSE. Unfortunately, the new PC I bought was unable to process those affects, so I had to switch to MXAO (earlier version of IMMERSE). I personally really loved IMMERSE and I'm extremely sad I had to stop using it, the shadows were so smooth! I have tried my best to make these shaders look and behave as similarly as possible to earlier versions of my preset packs. There is occasionally some issues with shadows, but I've tried my best to hide any weirdness. Besides that, I have improved the load order (I think idrk tbh) and added some new affects into the mix with these presets! I hope you enjoy!

HATES when you lose one of your limbs and leave it skittering about, trying to find the rest of you. Centipedes and skittering rouge limbs, that's what would do it for ragatha... bonus if you have a centipede crawling in your bones, be it as just your default or because one crawled into you at some point.. makes her weary to hug you when when gets that information..

But assuming you're bug free, shes more than willing to hang around you! Also offers to help put you together! Has probably guided your body back to your head after it got knocked off, saying it from having to blindly wander

No but I feel like you guys would bond over not being fully "stable", ie you guys can be disassembled and broken apart with relative ease. You guys have each others backs when something threatens to break your bodies up. Every once in awhile I see people saying they want trading or a player economy and as someone who's played other games with player economies I'm sorry but I REALLY don't think that's a good idea. Neopets, for example, literally had an issue where an irl black market developed for rare pets that often involved hacking and stealing these pets from innocent players or manipulated the game code itself to generate rare pets and items. I don't think it'd get to that level but I could imagine something similar happening with rare horses like Spirit, the barkharts and some of the other discontinued horses. I'm pretty sure SSO can't even afford chat moderators, you really think they'd be able to handle a multi-level hacking situation???

Even if it's just items instead of trading horses, I've played too many games where in-game economies become toxic with hoarding, overpricing items, and some made up hierarchy of items which you need to own if you wanna be seen as a cool kid which always starts so much drama.

Speaking of kids I think it's also important to remember that SSO is a kid's game and often kids don't know better yet. Look at all the kids on SSO who willingly give out their login information to other players for star coins/ claiming to trade accounts for a day. Like I just know if horse gifting/trading became a thing there'd be a situation where some kid named Sally Tulipchair trades horses with her BFF Daisy Ballhair because they're BFFL but then three days later Daisy ditches her for some kid named Jean Applebottom so Sally demands the horse back but Daisy says no. So now Sally gets SSO Support involved because what else can she do? Support barely functions as it is let's not add another pile of issues for them to deal with PLEASE

WIBTA if I wear ssnake doodless in front of my ophiophobic parentss?

I (19) recently began doodling little ssnakess on my sskin. They’re bassically a thick, wiggly black line with a disstinct head, a fairly recognizable sserpentine form.

The firsst time my mom (50ss) ssaw one of my ssnake doodless on my sshoulder, sshe wass alarmed and assked if I’d gotten a tattoo, but once I ssaid it wass jusst a pen doodle sshe sseemed to relax. A day or sso later, I had drawn one near my elbow, and my mom told me I sshould remove it.

I assked if sshe thought it would reflect poorly on me or uss from a professssional, legal, or ssocial sstandpiont, and promissed to cover it up in public (unsspoken: at leasst around her). Thiss wass not enough for her; sshe needed me to erasse the doodless and not draw any more. The reasson sshe gave wass that, covered or uncovered, the image of a ssnake on my persson would attract evil that sshe sspeakss of in vague termss. We debated thiss for a few minutess, during which I argued that I do not hold her ssuperssitionss and basse my opinion of ssnakess on my real-life experiencess (conssiderably more than herss). SShe tried to convince me to believe in the negative sspiritual implicationss or whatever of putting ssnake imagery on my body, but you can imagine neither of uss budged.

At the end of that converssation, I left to put on a jacket.

I ssay “parentss” in the title becausse my father (50ss) iss alsso afraid of ssnakess, though he did not chasstisse me for the doodless. I would feel ssorrow for disstressssing him with ssnake imagery, but I don’t believe that automatically meanss I sshouldn’t keep the doodless.

Currently, I haven't worn any in vissible placess, but I missss my little ssnakess.

I know I’m perfectly within my right to keep doing it. My conflict liess in the fact that I know wearing my ssnake doodless vissibly will causse people disstressss, and I’m not ssure if intentionally doing that consstitutess assssholery given the context. My parentss fear of ssnakess iss not newss to me. I bring them up when I learn ssomething new, when disscussssing my dream houssehold, etc., and I notice that my parentssss tend not to engage enthussiasstically. Niche fandom happenings to take your mind after whatever stuffs happening in your fandom:

So as you can probably deduce, the model horse collecting hobby is made up mostly of older people. The hobby has been well established since the dawn of the Internet and I've talked a few times about how it's difficult to find some older resources about it/its history because of how every other link you click on which used to lead to a hobbyist artist's angelfire blog now is just a dead link or worse, bought out by some ad company sitting on the URL. Up until recently, a huge portion of hobby talk still relied on now-defunct Yahoo groups; now most have moved to either forums like Model Horse Blab or private Facebook groups. Individually most of these are pretty decentralized, but since model collecting by nature is a hobby that requires a significant amount of financial interaction (buying, trading, selling, commissioning, etc.), there has to be some kind of centralized marketplace for people to pitch their goods to as many corners of the hobby as possible.

Enter Model Horse Sales Pages (MH$P), a, well, site where people can post sales pages for model horses and accessories. It's an old fashioned sales pages site from the 2000s with a somewhat shitty layout but unparalleled detailed search functions-- to order things from a seller, you'd have to personally email them to negotiate for their listing. Though this seems somewhat inconvenient to our modern senses used to one click payments and speedy delivery, MH$P is undoubtedly a pillar of the model horse community.

... So that's why people are scrambling as it's allegedly been hacked and taken down for the foreseeable future. Worrying about personal information aside, now fans are left to wonder: what's the alternative? Well, the first one is of course eBay, which many hobbyists already use. However, eBay is obviously less catered to model horse hobbyists and is therefore a bit harder to search if you're deep in the hobby and can't be assed to look through 4000 "plastic horse" titled listings to find the 2008 SR glossy xX Devilish Girlfriend++ Thoroughbred you want. MH$P occupied a specific niche for long time fans looking for grails.

So what are our alternatives for people in the hobby looking to buy from others in the hobby? Well, there's a few decentralized official dealers like Chelsea's Model Horses or Triple Mountain who you can consign older models to, but going through a middleman takes time and you have much less freedom in your personal listings. Alternatively, you could go grassroots and post listings in Facebook groups and on forums, but those have reaches limited to the members of those specific, often small, groups, and it can be hard to move stock that way. So now people are looking for a backup marketplace platform, both for the current situation and longtime health of the hobby. But imagine my surprise when I went on Model Horse Blab and saw people suggesting an alternative site kickstarted by

STAR STABLE ONLINE YOUTUBER DENIS/DENISE WISESTORM. Denis has been a controversial figure in the SSO fandom (though there's pretty much no uncontroversial ssotubers especially on ssoblr because clickbaiting and weird reactionary takes are like the bread and butter of that side of the fandom) who's been called out for having some alt-right homophobic views in the past, as well as for his abject and unproductive negativity towards improvements made on the game. He's a lps customizer and pretty prolific breyer collector, though, so his drive to create a model trading and selling platform makes sense at least. But still! Why him!!!!!!
