This is a lil new as far as what I post but

Here are my personal headcanons for certain Star Wars species and what I base their culture off of

Keep in mind I am not currently vastly educated on some of these, so by ALL means, if you know a lot of info about a certain culture, please feel free to DM me and tell me more :]

“Opportunity” Fanfic

The Star Wars legends inspired story ties canon and noncanon elements together and expands with more details. In addition, Force specialties were touched upon in this tale. That’s what I feel is lacking in canon currently. In video games like Star Wars Galaxies and Star Wars the Old Republic, you don’t just simply have Jedi class and Sith class. SWTOR has Sith warrior (which is divided into two specialties) and Sith inquisitors (which also has subcategories). Video games have understood the concept better of having specialties such as dps, healers, and tanks.

Just having light and dark side isn’t enough. In old canon, there were several lightsaber fencing styles. I wanted that for the Singing Mountain Clan. In my previous other fanfics, I had the two Force specialties of the Unifying Force and the Living Force. For this tale, I went further with subcategories for the Singing Mountain Clan which were stolen from SWG. There is a councilwoman, a huntress, a scout and a guardian. Each has their own strengths and weakness.

The Singing Mountain Clan aren’t given many details and currently really not even part of canon. Though the Kage Warriors are part of new canon, they aren’t really expanded much either. I thought it would be cool to have these two gray skinned people meet. What would they have in common? What would be different in their cultures?

Another question answered in this tale is how did people exploit in this evil corrupt Empire to get ahead? It tackled one idea. Accidentally, the fanfic gives an explanation of how some Kage Warriors hooked up with the Partisans. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this story. When you say post Garden… do you mean a post Split!Gardens’verse in which Shikako has landed in her new “forever home” and must make the most of it? Or a post Garden in that this is a Shikako who has made her way back to her original universe somehow?

Terraforming the Red Planet

“I have an idea,” says Shikako. Tenzo, perhaps understandably traumatized by those words, whips his head around to look at her, baring the whites of his eyes in alarm.

Honestly, Mei thinks he’s overreacting. Then again, she’s only been a part of this expat coalition for a few days so perhaps she hasn’t been as exposed to Shikako’s worst. After all, the idea that led Shikako to Kiri prevented Mei from being publicly executed for treason and also unearthed a missing Seven Swordsman and a previously thought extinct bloodline.

So far this is working out great for Mei. And, despite the heavy scowl on his face, also for Zabuza: he’s been practically glowing since Shikako chucked those Sand kids at him, the three of them plus Haku circling him like sharks scenting chum. Or, worse, a pod of bored orca spotting an unsuspecting seal.

Suffice to say, Tenzo is probably desperate for conversation with a sane adult.

Tentatively, as if braced for impact, Tenzo asks, “It doesn’t involve kidnapping another Kage’s children does it?”

Before Shikako can respond, the littlest Sand kid—the one with bright red hair that Mei had only ever seen before when she was a child, an envoy from Uzushio—abandons Zabuza to defend her.

“She didn’t kidnap us!” The sand swirling around his ankles in agitated waves would be a little more intimidating if it weren’t for his cherubic face, soft voice, and the teddy bear clutched in his arms.

“That’s still up for debate,” his older sister says, one hand on her hip. The other hand she leaves free, not quite hovering over her war fan, but close enough to draw it quickly if she needs to. Not because she’s threatened, but merely as a trained habit. Mei would be impressed if it weren’t for the fact that she was preparing to kill her own classmates at that age.

“Eh,” shrugs their brother. “She technically didn’t kidnap us,” he says, emphasizing that last word. “We tracked Gaara out to the Dead Wastes. Well, the no-longer-dead not-wastes.”

Zabuza, no doubt feeling abandoned, puts a hand on Haku’s shoulder. Haku pats his hand twice, comfortingly, but his attention is focused on the drama.

“I was listening to the stars,” Gaara says, “and Moth—um, Shukaku—told me where to go. And he’s not mad all the time.”

“Yeah, Temari,” his brother says with a shit-eating grin, “if anything, that means Gaara kidnapped himself. And we followed. So we also maybe kidnapped ourselves.”

“Shut up, Kankuro,” Temari retorts, but without further argument. Kankuro looks smug until she digs an elbow into his side.

Matter settled without any input on her part, Shikako finally responds to Tenzo’s earlier question. “No kidnapping of any Kage’s children will be necessary.”

For a moment, Tenzo looks relieved, but Mei has her eyes on Shikako and knows its too early to celebrate. Mei sees the way Shikako pauses, considering, and the minute wince that gets quickly smoothed over into a bland and unconvincing expression of innocence.

“We might have to kidnap an entire clan—”

“We?!” Tenzo protests.

“—although would it still be considered kidnapping at that point? It's more like an encouraged migration, maybe. But first we need to clear out some black marketeers. Or at least set up some kind of contract with them.” Shikako continues, unimpeded, listing on her fingers. “And I’ll need to get some soil samples from Sora-ku before we do any major changes. And also brush up on skyscraper architecture.” She turns to the rest of their ragtag team. “None of you are allergic to cats, right?” she asks, as if that were the only reasonable objection to her increasingly alarming plan.

The children shake their heads, absolutely fascinated. Zabuza tries to make eye contact with Tenzo—as if to commiserate or, perhaps, get confirmation that their leader is being serious—but the Leaf nin has pressed his face into his hands out of sheer, psychic agony.

“You’re just like this all the time, aren’t you?” Mei smiles: her post attempted coup life is going to be fun.

A/N: It’s pretty short and also more about Shikako accidentally collecting badasses of various ages than terraforming, but the implication is there. Basically, Shikako is going to extract the entire Uchiha clan from Konoha to prevent them from being hostages/collateral damage/used against her and she’s going to fix up Sora-ku so that they have a place to live. And I think Sora-ku is their territory anyway?

Posting about my (main) silly little Star Wars ocs because I have like four posts to my name 😂 but now I will have FIVE !!!

My Main Oc is a former Jedi called Salo!

Salo is a Togruta in his mid 20’s(during the clone war era) and early 40’s(rebels era)

He left the Jedi order just before first year of the clone wars but offered to still serve as a medic during it. He left due to believing he held too many attachments to properly serve as a Jedi. After order 66 was called he survived due to many not knowing about his history with the order and he left to become a bounty hunter

Salo quite often day-dreams and due to this tends to forget if he did actually do something or if he imagined he did. As such many people think he is forgetful. While never not friendly Salo doesn’t make an effort to extend his friend group. After order 66 he withdraws more than he already had and feels quite anxious speaking with people he didn’t know prior. This has not stopped him from somehow acquiring many adopted children that follow him around like ducklings

One of my other oc’s is the Quarzite Senator known as Silvanis Breic!

He is the star-warised version of an old warrior cat oc and I admit this shamelessly

He is a member of the Kage species and is quite young for a senator, only being in his mid to late teens. Their parents were prisoners of war during a civil war lasting generations between the Kage and the Belugans on the planet, captured while on a trip outside their village alongside their (at the time) young son. The tyrannical Lord of the Belugans saw advantage in raising Silvanis as a senator, to try and show the rest of the galactic senate(and by extension, the Jedi) that since a Kage was speaking on behalf of the planet no outside involvement was necessary. The last senator, an aging Belugan, quit when he realised galactic war had broken out as the stress of it and the civil war back home was something they didn’t want to deal with. Due to them quitting unexpectedly soon Silvanis had to step up to the role younger and less prepared than planned.

Silvanis is very poor at socialising with people outside of senate meetings and debates. He wasn’t socialised very well as a child and he finds it difficult to read other people’s emotions. While he is very perceptive Silvanis rarely chooses to act on what he sees unless it affects him or his job. They struggle with trusting other people and is known to hold grudges for quite a long period of time.

Database(CT-7828) is one of my clone ocs!

He is a starfighter pilot and he loves his job, in fact it is quite difficult to get him to stop talking about his ship. He earned his name from seemingly having the answer to every question one of his vode might have about airships. He even has a tattoo of his Starfighter on his cheek!

Despite his talkativeness when dealing with starfighters, Database is difficult to talk too about anything else. He is quite shy while approaching people who aren’t a clone and most conversations with him result in an awkward silence while he loads up what to say.

Strongest Kunoichi of her generation and one of the Three Strongest Shinobi alive.

Best Medic Ninja in Five Great Shinobi Nations and Head of Medical Department of Konohagakure.

One of only two members Rookie 9 to become Jonin after war.

Started mental health clinics for war orphaned children in Konoha and Other Shinobi Nations (Inspiration being Mirai, Naruto, Sasuke and Sai so other kids could get the mental and emotional support her friends weren't able to). (Source: Sakura Hiden)

Gaara acknowledges her as a Shinobi of his class in terms of power and has acknowledged her as an example of Shinobi who's very powerful despite not being a part of any ninja clan. (source: Gaara Hiden)

Fun Fact: She not only surpassed tsunade in in fighting and medical skills but also kinda in gambling (i.e. cards) she has a genius level memory that she can memorize all the moments of cards to the point that she knows all of your cards and thus win, lose or draw it's all in her hands, all thanks to her analytical skills that rivals Sharingan - implied by Sasuke in Chunin arc and Boruto-Tip: Never play cards with Sakura cuz it's bound to be an unfair game😅. Sasuke Uchiha

One of the two Strongest Shinobi Alive, The one with the Sharingan and Rinnegan. Only Shinobi equal to Naruto.

Known as Shadow Hokage, one who protects Konoha from outside through the shadows.

Former Avenger.

Sacrificed normal peaceful life i.e. living with his wife Sakura and beloved daughter Sarada to protect Shinobi world from threat that might be greater than Kaguya, as he was only one who could do this mission (due to his visual prowess) which led him to staying away from his family for years. Likes to blend science of nature in his jutsus for example: creating barrier of pure water i.e. pure H2O so it doesn't conduct electricity like normal water and creating ice using water nature and wind nature together. (Source: Sasuke Shinden: the star pupil)

Fun Fact: Sasuke was probably the last person of his generation to read Icha Icha Paradise considering even Gaara was 12 years ahead of him in this case.(Source:Naruto Shinden: Parent and Child day)(On that day Sasuke found out that Karma exists-any smart person can guess what I'm trying to say)😅

Just like Naruto he is still a Genin even though he'smore powerful than any Kage, Except Naruto.

Naruto Uzumaki

One of the two Strongest Shinobi Alive, the one of the last two jinchuriki and also the strongest one.

The Seventh Hokage aka Nanadaime.

Man because of whom the formation of Shinobi Alliance was possible in first place.

Has to do the mountains of paper work, sometimes he overworks himself leading him not being able to spend much time with his family(Hinata, Boruto and Himawari), all for the well being and development of village that he considers as a family to him.

Most unpredictable Shinobi in history of Shinobi world.

Before becoming a Hokage he used to train next generation ninjas of academy occasionally during his Hokage training.(source:The Last movie and Sakura Hiden)

Fun Fact: He is only Hokage to be directly promoted from Genin to Hokage. (but considering the fact that he is more powerful than any other kage, Jonin and chunin so participating in Chunin exam at that point would be pointless)😀

Note: 1)Most of the points mentioned above are after war, source being Canon Novels and Manga.

2) Before anyone asks why Kakashi Sensei isn't on list it's because I consider him as very foundation of this four pillars, the work they are doing at this point was possible due to Kakashi aka Rokudaime's support and guidance.

Okay... so let's maybe try this out... Round 1:

Wändenreich[ヴァンデンライヒ], a syntactic mess of Wänden:"Walls" and Reich:"Empire"/"Realm", written in Japanese as [見えざる帝国]: "Unseen + Empire."

Aufreide(?)[アウフリーデ] man.... I don't fkkin know... The literal phonetics here aren't anything sensible. The Japanese reads [溶けよ]: "to Melt"/"to Dissolve" , and you'd think then that the German would be something akin to auflösen, also meaning "to break up"/"to dissolve"/"to dematerialize." But as far as I can tell there's no conjugated form in which that gets anywhere near those phonetics in Japanese... (And like hell I'm trying the whole incantation, although it seems like there are existing transliterations that are mostly on the mark, both matching the phonetics to (mostly) real German words, that also happen to mirror the meaning of the Kanji.)

Kage[影]: "Shadow." It's just the Japanese word for shadow, no German or English. I just thought it was interesting that they put it in quotes like it was a special term. I guess the point being that it's not literal or otherwise normal "shadow," but something unusual. But also, note that Kubo didn't just call it "Schatten" when he had the chance.

MEDALLION[メダリオン], in English, not German, and with no Kanji... Also note that the Japanese phonetics are me-da-li-o-n', so it isn't Medaillon, the German word for Medallion.

MEDALZIE[メダライズ], which technically isn't even actual English, but clearly it's the suffix "-ize" as in "to make medal(lion)." This is given the Japanese meaning, [星章化]:"StarBadge-ization."

oh i can already see this format is gonna make this enormous... goddamnit......

Daten[ダーテン], German for "data" and [資料]: "data." Nice and easy.

Tokki Senryoku[特記戦力]: "Special Mention War Potential" or alternatively [戦力] can mean something like "ability (to compete)" or "valuable asset." (What I think is lost in translation here is that this term has a weird specific kind of usage, where what it describes necessarily has to be in a kind of state of uncertainty in regards to the "war" or "competition" in question. It's not used to denote something that IS a threat, only something that MIGHT BE a threat. Now, granted, there's a bunch of nonsense as to what Kubo meant when he first dropped the phrase -vs- what he ended up doing with as the arc dragged on... but the implication would seem to be that the characters in question weren't just 5 strong people to look out for, they were 5 people who specifically might not have to get involved in the conflict at all. Which, if taken at face value, means Yhwach saw the possibility of Ichigo, Urahara, Zaraki, Aizen, and Ichibee all either joining him instead of fighting him, or in the very least being persuaded to stand aside.)

Sternritter[シュテルンリッター], from Stern:"Star" and Ritter:"Knight" with the underlying Japanese, [星十字騎士団]: "Star Cross Chivalric Order."

Heilig Pfeil[ハイリッヒ・プファイル], German for "Sacred/Holy Arrow." Japanese [神聖滅矢]: "Sacred/Holy Destruction Arrow," with [滅] being the same kanji in Quincy[滅却師]: "Destruction Master."

Galaxy of Justice: More Lanterns

Indigo Nok: The 2nd in command on the Star Sapphire, not much is known about her after Carol freed her from an Imperial prison

Master Walker: A nomadic Jedi Master, he travels the galaxy helping those in need. He prefers peaceful solutions and never got involved as a general in the Clone Wars

Carol Ferris: A Zeltron pirate who lost her Family to the Empire. She turned the pain of her loss into action. Her ship is called the Star Sapphire and it's crew has become her new family

Larfleeze: A crime lord who will sell anybody and everybody out for money and power. He prioritizes himself and his own interests over anything else

Atrocitus: His entire city was destroyed in a battle between the Republic and the Separatists. He created a group of mercenaries who will fight anyone and everyone for the right price

Bleez: The heiress to a rich Pantoran family, she was forced into an arranged marriage with an Imperial officer. When she refused, he attacked her family and sent her to prison. She escaped and sought revenge before being recruited by Atrocitus

Laira: A Kage warrior, she joined Atrocitus after Lantern Company was broken up by the Empire

Dex Starr: A Cathar who lost his family during a pirate raid, he was recruited by Atrocitus, who helped him find the pirates and get revenge. After that, Dex Starr became loyal to Atrocitus

What was love and friendship to him in a world boiling with corruption, with greed? And what's a flower in a battlefield? Can it bloom? What is the song of a lover over the roar of an earthquake? Would you let a bird go if you know it'd kill it or would you keep it caged? Or would you go out and kill whatever is waiting for the little bird?

Sasuke got so lost wondering how could he live a fiction, 'cause dreams alone can't save the world. Who would descend to hell and purge the devils in there? What's Orochimaru alive if not for that job? What was Danzo there for? What was Itachi there for? Why is that people only worship what shines? Why is that the kages can decide to start a war for nothing but greed? Why is that the heroes' sins are never counted? Why is that some of the last survivors of the clans that founded Konoha were roaming the world searching for justice in themselves, not in the place that was supposed to be their home?

But then when Sasuke talks, they only listen to the "hatred" and not the truth behind?

That "hatred" came from a wound no one had the right to expect to know. It came from devotion, from the love of a little brother, the same way it came from Itachi. It came without a warning at such young age; their bones ached all at once and aged years in a minute. It teared holes in their eyes, black signs, dark omens, patterns of stars and silent mathematical equations to alter the world around them, to alter their fate.

And isn't it the tragedy of the Uchihas? To be able to slow down the world and copy what they see, to be able to travel to other dimensions and to be able to web nightmares and dreams. But even if they can make you live your entire life in a illusion or could help the dead came back from life, they can't erase what was, they can't make the pain go away, they can't forget. What's s dead was dead, what's done was done.

KARLOF: Trans man, homosexual and homoromantic. He's the youngest of three boys and his family runs an autobody shop in Metalonia. Karlof's brothers were closer to each other than him so he was often kinda the black sheep. He moved to Ninjago City to pursue higher education and that's where he met Chen. After discovering his powers, Karlof has jumped the ranks and become the secret favourite of his parents, which he's not a big fan of. He is an amazing cook and constantly trying to feed his team more because he thinks they're all too skinny. His English isn't the best, but he's working on it and he and Neuro teach each other languages. Karlof takes on the leadership role well and without complaint, or at least that's what he says. While he is smarter than he looks, he also has a bit of a temper and definitely is a "strike first, ask questions later" guy, which has landed him in hot water in the past. He is very, very loyal to a fault; you mess with any of the ninja, you mess with him. And you don't wanna mess with him. At the start of the AU, he is the oldest at 20.

GRIFFIN: Pansexual and aromantic. He's never met his father. His mother was a teenager when she gave birth to him after a one night stand and left him to be raised by his grandfather. So Griffin grew up thinking his grandfather was his real dad and his mother was his older sister. It ended up causing a whole issue when he found out. He met Chen while wandering around the city after graduating high school. He didn't really have anything better to do, so he became a ninja. Griffin definitely has undiagnosed ADHD, which caused him a lot of problems in school. He turning to sports as an outlet, his favourite of which was track and field, so he's a star runner. His mind is constantly going at a mile a minute and he has a bit of a tendency to ramble but nobody really minds because he's so passionate about his hobbies that it's kinda cool. He's got a lot of insecurities about not fitting in at school and being the different kid, but he likes to hide them behind his cool guy persona. He's the joker of the bunch and doesn't really take anything seriously at first, but gradually he matures and proves to be an ultimate team player. At the start of the AU, he is 18.

NEURO: Sex-repulsed asexual and aromantic. His parents were high school sweethearts but his mother was really toxic so his father, Mahiro, fled with an infant Neuro. he met an old ally from the Serpentine War, Kage, and the two fell in love and had a son. However, Mahiro suddenly went missing after the boat he was on suddenly was lost in a storm and since Kage had never officially adopted Neuro, he was sent back to live with his biological mother. Neuro was never physically harmed, but his mother was neglectful and emotionally abusive, often belittling and insulting him. Neuro took to schooling as a means of escaping her and moved from Ignacia to Ninjago City to study, where he met Chen. Neuro is very quiet and composed, a hard shell to crack. He takes pride in his intellect, and gets frustrated very easily when he comes across something he can't fix with his natural abilities. He loves learning and can easily get lost in books or documentaries for hours, having a secret pleasure for fantasy that he'd never admit out loud. Gradually, he learns to be more open and that it's okay to express his interests and enjoyment in things. He is surprisingly protective of Shade and later Morro, which stems from the guilt of not being able to save Mahiro. At the start of the AU, he is 20, just a few months younger than Karlof.

SHADE: The biological son of Mahiro and Kage, but his father disappeared before he was born and Kage raised him in the slums of Ninjago City as a single mother working multiple jobs to keep them afloat. Kage died when Shade was 14 and he was sent to foster care for a while, but the horrid conditions and abuse led to him running away and living on the streets, turning to petty theft and working with gangs in order to survive. He runs into Chen after getting caught stealing a few wallets and after being made to return the wallets, Chen invites him to be a ninja. Shade's entire life is defined by survival and doing what he can to make it from one day to the next. He gets easily defensive or turns to flight as a coping mechanism, and has habits of keeping a knife hidden on his person and hoarding food. Once he realizes he is safe and that he isn't going anywhere, he turns out to be a formidable fighter and learns to look on the bright side of life instead of always being enrobed in misery. He and Neuro are really close to each other (before they learn they're related) and often share secrets, such as the fact they both have poliosis. At the start of the AU, he is the youngest of the four at 17 (but both Skylor and Morro are younger than him).
