Okay now I'm reading Star Wars Adventures Annual 2018 "Mind Your Manners" and it's adorable. Luke is accompanying Leia on a diplomatic mission for the rebellion, but when they get on planet Leia sprains her ankle and can't participate in the ritual so she sends Luke in her stead. And I simply had to take a moment to highlight this Very Cute Activity happening between them.
Namely, Leia's adorable little lip bite when she's trying to manipulate Luke and get him to do what she wants and also dress him up, and him calling her "Princess."
Leia dresses him in Thee Stupidest Outfit imaginable, and then he gets there, and his pitch is literally this:
I love him soooo much lmfaoooooo SON BOY ALLOWED. Luke gets imprisoned for drinking from the Queen's sacred chalice or something (also cuz there's an Imperial Conspiracy afoot), he tries to use his big, wet anime eyes and adorable smile to manipulate his captors into letting him go, but ends up just getting rescued by Leia (who's ankle is feeling much better now thanks to a medkit). She shows up while Luke is trying to sweet talk his captors into opening a window, kicks out the window and kicks his captor right in the face.
They reveal the Imperial Conspiracy to the Queen and live to fight the Empire another day! Adorableness ensues!

If you ever - like me - think we were robbed of Anidala shenanigans in the Clone Wars, I suggest you read Star Wars: Adventures #12 and #13. It is so cute.
I’m gonna just share my favourite parts but we start with the premise that Anakin and Padme are reporting to the Jedi Council about some plot they both witnessed and it all started with:
So they’re off to see a play with the famous actress Risha Synata, who Anakin is a bit of a fanboy for which is just hysterical, and honestly kinda sweet? He’s so excited about this, not just because he gets to spend two days away with his wife without anyone breathing down their necks.
They miss the play and Risha does a whole flambouyant ‘oh how could you Padme’ (they’re old acquaintances btw) only to then in the next breath say it’s water under the bridge, but the two of them absolutely must see her museum. A museum that basically showcases all of her roles in various performances because she is THAT kind of a diva. Padme has managed to dodge it thus far
ANAKINS FACE. You’re ecstatic and your wife is dying inside. Cue the next scene that still makes me go ‘aww’ even after reading this comic about five times now.
These idiots. Also, lmao, no-one is believing this one Anakin. Not a single one:
So they go to the museum which houses various sets and displays of previous films, plays etc, all with animatronics playing different characters in specific scenes. They spot once scene still being constructed and have this adorable moment:
Only for one of the animatronics in the museum, who happens to be a robot Yoda, to activate and scare them both out of their kiss. I’m pretty sure Anakin has had nightmares about being interrupted by a Council member while snogging Padme, so gg on the mini heart attack there.
Understatement. With that starts a wild chase through the various film set displays in the museum all while trying to outrun the countless number of robots coming after them in a homocidal rage.
Really. I’m not gonna spoil how it ends but have this compilation of panels that live in my head rent free. Mostly for Anakin’s facial expressions and Padme kicking a droids head clean off but also the tag-team dynamic that I am weak for. Enjoy.

While I'm finishing my comic book with Marc Dubuisson, with these 90 pages, I think I almost did 300 pages of comics since 2016??
(and more with the non published work)
And still, I don't believe I'm a comic book artist...
Thank you my burn out and my non existent self confidence, I guess.
Some of my published work (more on the link via the images):
