kind of funny how the legends explanation for why boba's armor looks so beat-up in rotj is that, in the time it took to deliver han from the empire to jabba, he ended up going on an arena-championship sidequest, getting randomly shot at because jabba put a massive bounty on his head, getting in a muffled brawl with chewie while hiding from four syndicates and vader, getting almost blown up like three different times, and blowing up the room he was standing in to steal han back from the rebels who had stolen him from the empire who had stolen him from crimson dawn who had stolen him from boba. he really had a horrible week huh

In 2001, Wizards of the Coast released “The Dark Side Sourcebook,” a roleplaying supplement that explored all things evil in the Star Wars galaxy. Written by Bill Slavicsek and J.D. Wiker, the sourcebook outlined rules for roleplaying dark side characters, and information on dark side equipment and traditions. In addition to the cover art, Mara Jade was featured in a section called “The Emperor’s Minions.” Illustrator Doug Alexander Gregory had these memories to share with Jade Crusades in an online interview:

Mara Jade was easy as I had what I felt was a good handle on her personality for my own needs. I’m definitely a fan of the comics version, as that is where I came to know her in the Vatine-drawn adaptation of “Heir to the Empire.” I love the art in that book and her character was lots of fun. I thought it read pretty well too as Mike Baron's writing kept me well into the story. Vatine’s version of Mara is so striking, it was my chance to draw a well designed character. I did my sketch, WotC approved it, Lucasfilm approved it, and I painted it in watered down airbrush paints with a little acrylic and colored pencil at the end.

darth rivan's downfall is really funny

he was a plant guy who was one of the rulers of the sith during the new sith wars.

during his reign as dark lord of the sith, rivan made many innovations in sith sorcery in his big spooky castle, such as a kind of magically enhanced commander called a battlelord who would have the spirits of their troops bound to obey them. (future lords would forget how he did this) he also did the obligatory sith bullying of his apprentice (who was also his test subject) until he ended up killing the apprentice.

at one point, for some unknown reason, he decided to use a force storm (magic wormhole) to timetravel. he popped out 200 years later right in the midst of the battle of ruusan when the jedi were absolutely demolishing the sith. rivan would be killed immediately by some random apprentice.

Possible family dispute, or someone from another clan questioned if she was a Mando again due to not wearing the armour.

Either way, you can thank  art-finds-a-way (who can also be found on rayn44 here, and on DeviantArt) for this fantastic piece. I gave a few outlines and some references, but she's the one who seriously jumped up and brought it to life.

Also, for those wondering, yeah, this is the kid from an earlier image. She's one of a few characters I write in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood setting, which moves forward in real-time. So, one year in real life is one year in the setting. It's a solid system, but it does mean characters age over time. A bit of a problem if, like me, you introduced a child apprentice and then realised she'd need more commissions than the others due to growing up. I was just thankful that there's enough artists I like to help bring them to life, and I can set aside the cash to buy them up once in a while.

u kno it would probably be much easier for me to put the library of congress call numbers as book pdf titles instead of the last name, first name - title.pdf that i've been using forever.

OR i just make categories for the call numbers and leave the files named the way they are and put them where they belong. yes.

it's just that it's.

i guarantee half of those 4 846 items are not labelled anything other than alphanumeric strings.

also the entirety of the historical aspects fit into just two numbers. the religion stuff is scattered throughout 900 of the bl division. and that's not even counting in the g stuff.
