After a full year, I've finally managed to get some Starf Berries!

I got an Alcremie (Rainbow Swirl Love Sweet Form)! She was a gift from my mom to help around in the bakery. She's very sweet (both literally and figuratively) and I want to be able to learn how to take good care of her! Do different forms of Alcremie have different needs that I need to be aware of? They've got like probably 100 forms so I need to know the needs of this one in particular!

because the color and flavor of an alcremie's cream is the result of a very slight structural difference brought on at evolution, the different forms don't have different needs from each other in terms of being able to thrive as happy, healthy pokemon. you can use the standard care requirements for alcremie for all of the cream types; the sweets are merely a cosmetic difference and have no impact on their care either.

that being said, if your alcremie is going to help you bake, the food you give her can influence the purity of her cream's flavor. there are definitely more specific diets you can give alcremie based on their cream type to help bring out the specific qualities of their cream. of course, experienced alcremie keepers can help you with this better than i can, but i've heard that starf berries and heritage varieties of lum berries grown in hoenn are good supplements for rainbow swirl alcremie's diet!

Holding the gift box high above her head, Magpie wobbly floats over to the shiny Lopunny, and flashes him a wide, albeit somewhat strained, smile. “You're Marcin Komatska, yes? Very nice to meet you!! I'm Magpie, your starsendee this season!”

Eager to get the gift out of her hands and into its receivers, she quickly passes off the box with a heavy sigh of relief. She excitedly flutters around Marcin as he opens the gift, filled with thrilling anticipation that makes her unable to sit still. This is the moment of truth, after all, whether or not the items she decided to pick were sufficient and in line with what was wished for.

Inside the gift box is a bottle of Starf Berry Wine, a book of Sudoku puzzles paired with a pen topped with a heart, and a scarf; made from wool and skillfully knitted with different shades of pink, each end forming a heart adorned with tassels. Magpie claps her hands together as the items are inspected, still buzzing around Marcin like a busy Combee and launching into a flurry of words as each is removed from the box, starting with the bottle of wine. “I hope the wine is to your tastes! My friend Bellefontaine is the one that picked that out for you! I'm not really well versed in wines, but he said that while its initial taste is pretty mild, the aftertaste is sweet and it does great paired with something spicy!”

Then the book and pen, which has her tone flattening a little as she fiddles with her microphone bashfully. “Admittedly that's just an unused Sudoku book that had been laying around the apartment, but it still works, yes? And I found you this really cute pen to go with it!”

Finally the scarf carefully folded at the bottom of the box is removed and she perks right back up, even more excited than before. “Ohhh! And this is what I'm most proud of! I was able to work with some of the most skilled Pokemon in the city to get this made and they were able to create what I had in mind perfectly! And of course it's made with the highest quality materials that we had access to, so it should keep you warm even on the coldest nights and last you a very long time!”

“Is it to your liking?” she asks, before going into a contemplative look. “This is my first time doing anything like this so I'm not sure what's appropriate. Hopefully at least one of these, if not all, are good, no?”

Rune: I think Pecha. I like how sweet they are... and they remind me of Dielle.

Malachi: I'm a fan of Cornn berries! They're really good in a lot of dishes.

Inigo: I like the Starf berry. They're pretty helpful in battle if you're low on energy and need a way to get back at your opponent.

Dielle: Anything that isn't a Wacan berry! I love trying out new berries, hehe.

You, um... uh... it's got something to do with shredded ice, I'm sure. Mmhm. No looking at your phone, I see that. Don't think I won't bring you crashing down with me. SO, um, of course, shredding... I'm explaining this for the kids who aren't cool enough to get this, of course, it's... uh... when you snowboard so well... you, uh... you blow past everyone else... um... Ugh, nevermind, that's plenty. So uncool... how about we just get started already. What does pride mean to me, right? It's on the tip of my tongue... When you blow the competition... Pffh... Past. You mean... Whatever, I'm just answering the question. Pride, to me, is pressing forward. Even when the path you were on suddenly becomes irreversibly changed, finding a way to keep going. Because you know that you are worth the effort. Even though you're terrified of losing more than you've already lost to the swirling storms. Ahem. You've certainly had to rebuild a lot for yourself over the years. And yet, you've done well at it. You have a reputation as the strongest Gym Leader here in Paldea, and one of the most well-loved for your... "androgynous swag"? I suppose... but I can't let that get to my head. I can't let myself get swept up again, like I did that day. But I am glad that my presentation resonates with so many people. Just because I chose to live my life as a man doesn't mean I need to look a certain way. I can be pretty and be a man. And I think I like what I've got going... even if I lost a few ties along the way. So I'm glad that people can at least... see themselves in me. Men, women, people off the gender binary... Their enthusiasm reminds me of how I used to be. Ah! I have found it! "Shredding" refers to snowboarding on difficult or challenging terrain! Congratulations. I'm so happy for you.
