When doing such spellwork, one can call upon deities associated with asteroids and use the astrological associations, in this case Scorpio, and the power of the waxing crescent moon. 

As the moon grows, there is forward motion, a strength one can utilize in magick.Working on goals right in front of you, encouraging positivity and faith, and an invitation to act boldly are all part of the waxing crescent power.

Fridays during the waxing moon are the best time for to welcome love into one's life.With shooting stars, what is recognizable to everyone is wishing, which is easily done by putting your intent into it before it flies out of sight.

Candle magick at this time can elicit omens, and jar spells made from shooting star water (via a mason jar of plain water left out under the stars) can be useful for long term workings and wishing spells.

The new moon on November 15 guarantees darkness for the night of the meteor shower on November 17, and the bulk of the meteors, perhaps 10 to 15, are expected to fall in the hours just prior to dawn.Leonids are famous for storming ever since the first great meteor storm of modern times during in November 1833, which famously effected the understanding and development of scientific study of meteor showers.

Meteors themselves, falling stars, have been worshipped for thousands of years.

The Greeks used them in veneration of their gods, and they appeared in the ancient legend from Mecca via a gift of a meteor to Ibrahim by angel Jibril.

Native Americans also wove a legend of meteors in the tale of “Coyote and the Dancing Stars

.”Today meteorites are used to enhance working with other worldly beings, while they also ground and gives us the ability to connect with spirit.

Day 5 of #30daysmagicalroots Energy work. Because I've been reading Star Magic by Sandra Kynes with @fatfeministwitch in her #bookclubofshadows, I decided to call upon our very own Sun's energy. I began with grounding and centering, of course. Then I opened up my chakras to the Sun's energy. Almost immediately, it came flowing into me, hot, bright, radiant, and pulsing. I played with it between my hands, creating a sphere, feeling that heat in my palms. I decided to warm my feet by sending the collected energy back into my torso and down. Warm feet indeed! 🌞🔥👣 Its energy was so vast, overlapping my own energy, integrating my energy into it. It was a beautiful experience, and I'm very excited to get into more star magic as I continue reading the book. ( 🐇 ) OH DEAR. SHE had asked a question that posed painful memories ; memories that her echo ( for once ) did not seem interested in sharing without consent. as thankful as she was for it to not be thrust upon her . . she had an itch she NEEDED TO SCRATCH.

EXILED ? OH. < WOULD . . IT BE to much to ask what happened for you to be exiled in THE FIRST PLACE ? > she truly did not wish upset to retell the tale but . . she was genuinely curious to know. she understood exile, considering she was in such a predicament from her home tribe due to LEAVING THE SNOWS.

SHE SMILES AS rilha apologizes, shaking her head ; she forwarded the conversation herself in wondering what the reasons were, thus she WAS NOT BOTHERED by it at all.

BESIDES, IT WAS something else and not related to what they CURRENTLY WERE DOING.

the miqo'te's gaze shifts towards dahlia, and seeing her so relaxed helps her calm down a bit. after all, they were not bound for kugane yet. they still needed some time to prepare and help rhalgr's. still, the painful memories of her home and her exile were a lot to overcome.

❝ my family awaits me . . ❞ she confesses. ❝ i was actually . . exiled from the shirohana clan. it's why i went to gridania in the first place. ❞

as a silence settles between them, her eyes open to gaze at the fringes' nature. the painful reminder of her exile passes through her, the wave of emotion coming to an end, before embarrassment starts to creep up on her face.

Lupercalia was an ancient pagan festival held each year in Rome on February 15. Although Valentine’s Day shares its name with a martyred Christian saint, some historians believe the holiday is actually an offshoot of Lupercalia.

Unlike Valentine’s Day, however, Lupercalia was a bloody, violent and sexually charged celebration awash with random matchmaking and coupling in the hopes of warding off evil spirits and infertility. No one knows the exact origin of Lupercalia, but it has been traced back as far as the 6th century B.C.

According to Roman legend, the ancient King Amulius ordered Romulus and Remus—his twin nephews and founders of Rome—to be thrown into the Tiber River to drown in retribution for their mother’s broken vow of celibacy.

A servant took pity on them, however, and placed them inside a basket on the river instead. The river-god carried the basket and the brothers downriver to a wild fig tree where it became caught in the branches. The brothers were then rescued and cared for by a she-wolf in a den at the base of Palatine Hill where Rome was founded. The twins were later adopted by a shepherd and his wife and learned their father’s trade. After killing the uncle who’d ordered their death, they found the cave den of the she-wolf who’d nurtured them and named it Lupercal.

It’s thought Lupercalia took place to honor the she-wolf and please the Roman fertility god Lupercus. Sending blessings to you and your loved ones from Mooncraftmagick. 💙💙

hands clap together, ears pointing upward as an eager wag of the tail is made is rilha tells her that she designed the tavern with her in mind. ❝ its an honor to hear that, i only hope i can live up to the expectations !! ❞ words are spoken in half-jest, giving a playful wink as she speaks.

following the other miqo'te down the stairs, a golden gaze widens in awe at the first glance of the tavern downstairs. rilha expertly made use the space, giving it the impression that it was far larger than it really was. was this truly the same basement they had when she'd purchased the plot ?? and the stage...

a wave of nostalgia flows through her as she looks at it - thoughts trailing back to the times that she'd performed in taverns while she was a part of troupe falsiam. xolia gets lost in her own thoughts for the moment, coming back to reality as she hears rilha's giggles. ❝ you're not wrong there. ❞ gives a giggle of her own with this.

❝ you were able to completely transform the basement... why, i never would have realized that this was the once empty basement that came with our plot of land !! ❞ xolia comments, giving a light twirl as she, too, moves to the center of the eatery. ❝ and the stage... oh it's just wonderful !! ❞ adds on as she approaches the kitchen, peeking behind the wall to examine the equipment.

❝ i'll have to make a menu most grand for our taven... ❞ and perhaps, maybe even consider developing a new routine ?? while she was sure that she wouldn't take the stage all too often - given her status as the head chef - surely she could allow herself the occasional absence from behind the kitchen ??

seeing xolia's gaze linger down the stairs, rilha stifles a laugh, a hand held to her chin with a grin. the miqo'te should've known that her friend would find a call to the downstairs, considering her passion for cooking and her talents as a culinarian. rilha couldn't deny that she was excited to see xolia in her element, and also to taste some of her meals again.

❝ of course !! i made sure to design it with you in mind. ❞ rilha turns as she speaks to guide xolia down the staircase.

getting past the first set of stairs revealed a massive basement, decorated to look and feel like a tavern. on one wall was balcony seating, and across from that was a stage for any performers they may have. towards the back was a bar, with a kitchen hidden behind a wall. the miqo'te stops at the bottom of the stairs, looking up at xolia as she took in the view.

❝ the only downside is the lack of sunlight down here . . . but considering we're in ishgard, i doubt we're missing much. ❞ rilha giggles, before stepping into the center of the eatery. ❝ we're lucky the basement was this spacious, we were able to fit a full kitchen and seating . . . and a stage. ❞
